In this study the effect of the content of $TiB_2$ on wear properties was investigated. $Cu-TiB_2$ composites have been fabricated by hot extrusion. Sliding wear tests were peformed by a pin-on-disk type wear test machine under dry condition and loads varied with from 20N to 80N at sliding speed 3.5Hz. The test results showed that the wear losses and the friction coefficients decreased with increasing $Cu-TiB_2$ volume fraction and increasing the size of $Cu-TiB_2$ particle. Wear property of $10{\mu}m,\;5 vol\%\; TiB_2$ specimen was excellent all of the wear specimens. It is thought that the increase of plastic flow resistivity due to uniform distribution of $10{\mu}m,\;5 vol\%\; TiB_2$ wear specimen would improve wear property. The worn surface and wear debris were examined by optical microscope and scanning electron microscope.

From the beginning of 1990s , also in the shipping industry, especially liner shipping industry competition has been more intensive and difference of the service quality among shipping companies has been learned . On the other hand, a shipping company has some limitations to do its international mission for itself just by broadening service area. For this reason, the necessity for the global strategi alliance among the shipping companies, which is orginally aimed at sharing of facilities and organixation, has been developed. Through strategic alliance, liner shipping companies do not need to input the additional capitals to increase the material assets such as vessel capacity and spread the risk by the enlargement of the market. Also, they can secure the competitive edge through efficient utilizaton of assets. The purpose of strategic alliance of Hanjin Shipping Ltd., can be summarized as follows ; broadening of service area, cost reduction through vessel sharing, realization of rationalized shipping service by terminal and equipment or facilities sharing. Liner strategic alliances are agreement among liner companies to pol their equipment , andterminals for joint operations and services in which each alliance partner continues to serve its market using jointly operated or used inland feeders,inland terminals, port terminals, and mainline fleets of ship as well as joint pools of containers and equipment. Strategic alliances are generally more formal agreements than consortia and impose longer term and far reaching obligation on their members. It also acts as one in developing and advancing the strategic aims of the alliance members. The most important objective for liner strategic alliances is cost reduction and improvement in capital asset utilization. Main aims of strategic alliance drawn in this paper, can be enumerated follows : 1. improvements in service frequency and quality : 2. improvements in vessel and equipment utilization and thereby reductions in fixed and variable cost ; 3. improvements in market shares and high value cargo booking ; 4. reductions in intermodal storage and port terminal throughput costs ; 5. improvements in negotiating powers with ports and feeder transport providers ; 6. reduction in financial and other fixed costs such as insurance; 7. coordination and integration of MIS and EDI systems and service for greater efficiency and market penetration ; and, 8. improvements in logistic chain management and economic of scale by equipment depot, terminal, and vessel sharing.
Cu-TiB<sub>2</sub> 복합재료의 마모거동에 따른 미세조직 관찰

The dispersion hardened $Cu-TiB_2$ composites are a promising candidate for applications as electrical contact materials. The $Cu-TiB_2$ composites for electrical contact materials can reduce material cost and resource consumption caused by wear, due to their good mechanical and electrical properties. In this study, we investigated the wear phenomenon for $Cu-TiB_2$ composites fabricated with hot extrusion, by varying particle sizes and volume fractions of $TiB_2$. The wear tests were performed under the dry sliding condition with a fixed total sliding distance of 40 m. The contact loads at a constant speed of 3.5 Hz were 20, 40, 60, and 80 N. The friction coefficients and wear losses were measured during wear tests. Worn surfaces and wear debris after wear tests were investigated using the scanning electron microscope and the optical microscope. The microstructures of interface between Cu matrix and $TiB_2$ particle before and after wear tests were studied by the transmission electron microscope.
박판 알루미늄 도금강판의 플라즈마 용접성에 미치는 용접조건 및 롤러의 영향

Al-coated steel sheets with excellent heat and corrosion resistance are widely used in various applications. In welding of thin plate, some defects such as unmelted zone and metal-through occur easily in the beginning and ending of welding line. In the study, the welding defects in Al-coated steel sheets were investigated with respect to plasma arc current, height between Cu block and base metals, and using a roller to align the height of the base metal. Full penetration and voids free welds were obtained with a plasma arc current 52A and weld speed 2.3m/min. An unmelted zone increased and Ericshen rate decreased as the height between Cu block and base metal increased from 0 to 0.6mm. Using a roller moving ahead of the plasma arc, the length of unmelted zone decreased from 1.7mm to 0.5mm.

The results deduced from ontology hardly satisfy the condition which is the results user want. So, we study how to improve the ontology reasoning engine and combine it with statistic data for weighting the deduction way. Through confirming whether users get the desired result or not and verifying that, we analyze the validities of reasoning engine and the results which appropriate for users. Upon this hypothesis we study the optimization of ontology reasoning. For practical usage of the model, we apply baseball game broadcasting system which is driven context-based processing agents and serving observation points.
