        Even though the tour business in Korea has grown rapidly with the changes of the time, it has caused lots of problems in the ethical aspects. Accordingly, the disagreements between tour business and society has been amplified and society requires new contract against tour business. By this reason. tour business is under an age of turning point that should solve comples ethical problems for themselves. To solve these ethical problems, sound business ethics must be established. To attain these goals, we should direct the study toward the basis of conceptual model of tour business. To do this, we have to seek after the ideology and spirits of business ethics developed by Yi Yi and Chung Yahk Yong who were representative scholar of Yi dynasty . We also have to set conceptual models in tour business ethics by adapting David Vogel's development model in business ethics, Joseph Badaracoo's business men's ethics model and David L. Whitney's determinant factors in tour business ethics. The conceptual model of tour business ethics represented by this study takes characteristic of basic research for the recognition of importance in tour business ethics and for the counter measure. By the consistent study, we must enhance tour business ethics and business image. we are going to ending up this study with the task of finding substantial alternatives that are essential to be an entrepreneur civilian internally and externally.

        We have used molecular biology technique to label the side chains and backbone of HBV preS1(1-56) with stable isotope (??) during E. coli over-expression and purified the protein to near homogeneity. The expression level of ?? labelled preS1(1-56) seems to be ∼15% of the total protein. to characterize the secondary structure of the labelled protein, circular dichroism was used. In different buffer conditions including pH 3.3 and pH 7.4 the protein seems to be devoid of any stable secondary structure probably suggesting that the N-terminal portion (preS1(1-56)) of HBV preS1 might be unstructured before binding to its target cells.

        천측두동맥에 발생한 가성동맥류 1예

        The authors report a case of false aneurysm of the superficial temporal artery which manifested after operation for FCCD. An aneurysm of the superficial temporal artery is a rare disease. In collected literature, the incidence of superficial temporal artery aneurysms ranged from 0.5 to 2.5 percent of all aneurysms for which surgery was performed. False aneurysm should be suspected when a mass, which may or may not be pulsatile, appears in the scalp region after recent trauma. Troublesome(but not life-threatening) bleeding may occur if the lesion is unrecognized, and an attempt is made to "shell it out" as though it were an epidermal inclusion cyst.

        공기청정 겸용 전열교환 환기유니트 적용시 실내공기환경 CFD 시뮬레이션

        Recently, indoor air pollution problem is happening in apartment housing due to the use of new building materials that emit poisonous chemical such as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Formaldehyde (HCHO) etc. Therefore, the issues about security of healthy dwelling environment is becoming important. There are the methods to reduce indoor air contaminant. First, source control which is the method to control the emission of contaminant from building materials. Second, adopting the air cleaning and ventilation system which is the method to dilute the concentration of contaminant and exhaust the contaminant to outside of the building quickly. In this research, we evaluated the improvement effect of the indoor air quality quantitatively by using CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation on the assumption that air cleaning and ventilation system is installed.

      • VRSA에 대한 항생물질을 생산하는 방선균의 분리

        본 연구가 VRSA에 대한 신규 항생물질 생산 균주를 얻기 위하여 실시하였다. 국내외에 채취한 토양시료에서 분리한 방선균 중, 임상분리 VRSA와 돌연변이 유발 VRSA에 대해 항균성을 나타내는 JY-24를 선별하였다. 선발 균주는 원통형의 포자 모양을 갖고 있으며, Bennett's 배지에 배양시 aerial mycelium color는 흰색을 나타냈으며, reverse side color는 대체로 노란색을 나타내었다. 항균물질 생산을 위한 탄소원으로는 fructose, mannose, 질소원으로는 yeast extract가 가장 우수하였으며 glucose의 첨가로 항균 물질 생산성이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 최적 초기 pH는 pH 7로 나타났으며, 28 ℃, 37℃, 45 ℃의 온도에서 균이 성장하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 배양기간에 따라 항균물질 생산성을 조사한 결과, 임상분리 균주에 대해 5일 배양 시 가장 높았으나, 3일 배양과 7일 배양 시 동일한 생산성을 나타내 생산속도가 빠르며, 안정한 물질인 것이 파악되었다. 향후 균주동정 및 항균물질 정제에 관한 연구를 수행하고자 한다. An antibiotic substance producing strain JY-24, effective to the VRSA (Vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), was isolated from soil. The spore chain of JY-24 was cylindrical, and its sulface was smooth. The aerial mass color of the strain was white, and its reverse side color was yellow. The strain did not produce soluble pigment. For the production antibiotics, fructose, mannose and yeast extract were favorable as carbon and nitrogen sources. Optimal initial pH for the production of the antibiotic was pH 7. Accumulation of the antibiotic in the culture broth reached at maximal level after 5 days cultivation in Bennett's medium.

      • A Novel Nucleoside Antibiotic

        農藥用 새로운 抗生物質을 探索해 가는 過程에서 83-755菌株는 in vitro 및 in vivo (pot 試驗) 에서 灰色곰팡이病을 일으키는 Botrytis cinerea에만 特異하게 강한 活性을 나타냈다. 83-755와 類似한 生物, 化學的 特性을 가진 이미 알려진 抗生物質과의 活性檢索을 竝行한 3가지 溶媒系에서의 TLC 試驗에서 83-755는 이들과 다른 Rf치를 나타냈다. 그러나 最近 日本 理化學硏究所 抗生物質硏究室에 의하여 開發된 nucleoside 抗生物質인 RK84-16 (未揭載)과 매우 類似한 特性을 나타냈다. 菌同定試驗에서 83-755菌株는 84-16菌株와 類似한 形態的 生理的 特性을 나타냈으나 糖利用性試驗과 脫脂粉乳의 펩톤化에 있어서는 다른 양상을 보였다. 高速液體 크로마토그램, 1H NMR 및 UV spectra를 分析한 결과 83-755菌洙는 RK84-16과 類似한 抗生物質을 生産한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 83-755균주는 Botrytis cinerea에 특이하게 항균활성을 나타내는 nucleoside계 抗生物質을 생산하는 새로운 Streptomyces종인 것으로 사료된다. In the course of screening for antibiotic of agricultural application strain No. 83-755 showed strong antifungal activity both in vitro and in vivo (pot test) specifically against gray mold disease caused by Botrytis cinerea. Bioautographic comparison following TLC with known antibiotics which possess similar biological and chemical properties resealed different Rf values on cellulose TLC in 3 different solvent systems, but showed very similar properties to RK84-16, suppose to be a nucleoside antibiotic most recently discovered by RIKEN antibiotic laboratory in Japan(not published data). Taxomical comparison with strain No. 84-16 represented similar properties in morphology and physiology but showed different reaction in carbon sources utilization and peptonization of skim milk. HPLC chromatogram, 1 H NMR and UV spectra led us to conclude that strain NO. 83-755 might be a new species of Streptomyces which produce biologically act ice nucleoside antibiotic specifically against Botrytis cinerea

        Korean Red Ginseng Up-regulates C21-Steroid Hormone Metabolism via Cyp11a1 Gene in Senescent Rat Testes

        Ginseng (Panax ginseng Meyer) has been shown to have anti-aging effects in animal and clinical studies. However, the molecular mechanisms by which ginseng exerts these effects remain unknown. Here, the anti-aging effect of Korean red ginseng (KRG) in rat testes was examined by system biology analysis. KRG water extract prepared in feed pellets was administered orally into 12 month old rats for 4 months, and gene expression in testes was determined by microarray analysis. Microarray analysis identified 33 genes that significantly changed. Compared to the 2 month old young rats, 13 genes (Rps9, Cyp11a1, RT1-A2, LOC365778, Sv2b, RGD1565959, RGD1304748, etc.) were up-regulated and 20 genes (RT1-Db1, Cldn5, Svs5, Degs1, Vdac3, Hbb, LOC684355, Svs5, Tmem97, Orai1, Insl3, LOC497959, etc.) were down-regulated by KRG in the older rats. Ingenuity Pathway Analysis of untreated aged rats versus aged rats treated with KRG showed that the affected most was Cyp11a1, responsible for C21-steroid hormone metabolism, and the top molecular and cellular functions are organ morphology and reproductive system development and function. When genes in young rat were compared with those in the aged rat, sperm capacitation related genes were down-regulated in the old rat. However, when genes in the old rat were compared with those in the old rat treated with KRG, KRG treatment up-regulated C21-steroid hormone metabolism. Taken together, Cyp11a1 expression is decreased in the aged rat, however, it is up-regulated by KRG suggesting that KRG seems enhance testes function via Cyp11a1.
