        대학의 아이덴티티를 어떻게 정의할 수 있을까? 아이덴티티는 이미지라 할 수 있는데 메시지를 전달하는 전달자의 입장에서 형성한 제품이나 서비스의 "Meaning","Intention","Vocation"이라 할 수 있다. 이 메시지를 전달받는 수신자의 입장에서 전달된 메세지를 나름대로 해석하여 형성한 특정 브랜드나 제품, 기관 등에 갖는 의미라 할 수 있다. 단순히 시각 커뮤니케이션의 요소 뿐만 아니라, 마케팅의 입장에서 해석해야 하며 주변환경, 문화 및 역사, 사회적 가치 등에 기초를 두며, 또한 언어적 커뮤니케이션, 문화적 커뮤니케이션들을 통하여 대중으로부터 이미지를 형성하게 되는데 이의 출발점이 아이덴티티라 할 수 있다. 이에 아이덴티티의 한 부분으로써 대학 아이덴티티를 정의 함으로써 대학도 교육서비스 뿐만 아니라 다원화된 서비스를 통하여 학생을 유치함으로 경쟁사회에서 생존할 수 있는 토대를 만들어 나가야겠다. 대학의 아이덴티티는 대학이 갖는 가장 중요한 자산이라 하겠다. 대학 아이덴티티 프로그램은 대학이 전략이나 구조 그리고 특성들을 분명히 정의하고 만들어 나감으로써 모든 사람이 보고 느낄 수 있는 이미지를 만들어 나가야 한다. 이 논문을 통하여, 대학의 이미지가 형성되는 과정을 알아보고 대학이 대중의 기억 속에 자리잡기 위해 타 대학들과 차별성 있는 Positioning을 잡아 나가는데 좋은 자료가 될 것이다. C.I(Corporate identity) has been used since the earliest times to distinguish one company from another one. U.I is said to be one part of C.I.U.I can be said to be an University Branding. Many of today's great brands among them, coca-cola and Macdonald owe their existence to the explosion of economic growth that resulted from the new, fast and efficient communication systems. This rapid development of branding and the development of valuable and powerful property can be recognized by the public. The more the public have a chance to look at it, the less a company image becomes clear gradually over time. An image can also become unfocused when the company grows and the identity is broadened, causing a blurring of its meaning. A company can lose its focus through lack of attention. Increased competition can create problems simply by raising the standards at which the company needs to operate in order to stay in competition. This thesis attempts to redefine the University identity and to create a new hierarchy of considerations during the process of design. The problem we face now is how to understand the function of university identity in today's very high competitive education world. The purpose of this essay is to present a new approach, to redefine the arena, the subject and the goals of university identity in the context of new social, political and economical changes.

      • 《醒世姻綠傳》중의 婦女形象 연구

        As a Chinese classic novel, 《Xing Shi Yin Yuan Zhuan》 ranks alongside 《Jin Ping Mei》 and 《Hong Lou Meng》 for obscene and extensive yet unobtrusive setting. In 1930s, Mr. Hu Shin said: "It is the officialdom and the civil service examination system in that age. It also reveals decadence, snobbish cold-hearted acridity, swindle, and transgression of propriety of the society in the time of the collapse of Song- Ming Ethical Philosophical Theories. In addition, it discloses natural disasters, social customs, geographical features(knowledge), children's playthings and playing activities, differences of the disciplines of the South and North schools, cookery, farming, and even prices of the rice crops....., etc. Vivid cameos of all aspects of the actual social condition lend redence to it. However, the achievement of its genuine artistic writing skill is no less than its extraordinary contents. Especially, its exaggerative, satiric and jestingly pen can be regarded as the best of this kind. First of all, this research paper will present the brief discussion of the common backgrounds of this type of family novels during the time of the end of Ming Dynasty and of the beginning of Ching Dynasty, and my own point of view on women. Then the intensive discussion will be focused on the three most peculiar kinds of woman's image and other related questions.

        The changes of educational environment are very difficult, specially local university is more difficult. These changes are the Dullness of economy, the decrease on population: specially high school student. etc. Specially the decrease of high school student is one of very disturbed factor for many local university. One of the reason is the neglect policy implementation of government. So, Elderly, the paradigm of the entrance examine of university is changed. the present paradigm is not the entrance examine of university but the detention of freshmen. Aims of this study are looking at the changed paradigm and making solutions of the crisis.       • An Application of Critical English Language Teaching in a College English Classroom

        이 연구는 의사소통능력을 향상을 위해 교수자와 학습자들이 제한된 언어지식과 기능에만 중점을 두는 현재의 영어교육방법의 효용성의 한계에 대해 조사했다. 실제로 현재의 영어교육은 토익이나 토플과 같은 표준화시험 점수의 향상을 통한 취업을 목표로 하는 담론이 지배하고 있다. 하지만, 영어를 취업을 위한 단순한 도구로 여기는 현상은 1980년대 후반부터 일어난 지구화 및 시장이론에 근거해 만들어진 것이며, 현재의 영어교육에 만연한 과학주의, 학습자의 능력의 단순 표준화를 통한 평가, 그리고 시험점수에 의존한 학습자의 능력 차별화와 같은 제한적 관행에서 벗어나기 위해서 영어교수학습방법의 형성에 관한 역사 및 본질에 대한 더 많은 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 이 연구는 현재 우리나라의 영어교수 및 학습의 범위와 수준을 향상시키기 위해 탐구방법을 바탕으로 한 교수법과 함께 비판적 영어교육(critical English language teaching: CELT)에 대해 논의하였다. 또한, 22명의 학생들과 한 대학 영어수업에서 수행한 연구를 바탕으로 탐구학습과 비판적 영어교육을 활용하는데 나타나는 특징들과 실제성을 제시했다. 결론적으로, 탐구학습과 비판적 영어교육의 궁극적 목적은 학생들에게 영어를 기초적인 의사소통 기술뿐만 아니라, 자신들의 삶에서 일어나는 중요한 사회문화적, 교육적 현상들에 대해 비판적인 사고를 통해 심도있게 문제제기를 할 수 있도록 "힘 실어주기 모형"의 교수법임을 강조하였다. This study questions the viability of current English education in which both teachers and students are forced to learn limited sets of linguistic knowledge and functions to improve their communicative competence. In fact, the field of English education is inundated with the dominant discourses revolving around English as a must for job preparation by scoring high in standardized tests such as TOEIC, TOEFL. However, given that the ideology of English as a mere tool for job has been constructed by globalism and market theory since the late 1980s, more research is needed to investigate the history and nature of pedagogical formations in English teaching and learning in order to overcome discursive practices of positivism, psychometric standardization of students' ability, and, more seriously, discrimination of students using English test scores. Accordingly, this paper, first, examines historical, sociocultural, political, and economical factors that contribute the formation of current English education. Second, this paper proposes critical English language teaching (CELT), along with an inquiry-based teaching as a way to expand the scope and depth of English teaching and learning in Korea. In doing so, a university-level English class in which the researcher worked with 22 students is exemplified to highlight the characteristics and practicality of utilizing CELT and inquiry. The ultimate goal of the inquiry-based CELT class is to promote "an empowerment pedagogical model" in which English is taught not only for basic communication skills but also for critical thinking with which students can engage in in-depth problematizing of important sociocultural and pedagogical issues around themselves.

      • 통합적 교수방법을 원용한 대학교양영어 교과과정 및 강의에 대한 연구

        Current English teaching in college needs to be improved to meet new challenge in this information and globalization age. In other words, instead of relying on fragmented and decontextualized teaching and learning, interdisciplinary approaches of teaching English using multiple texts or teaching materials and computer technology are necessary not only for learners to acquire different types of knowledge but also to utilize them in diverse social contexts. In other words, the field of English Education should work toward designing an integrated program, which helps establish a meaningful learning community to allow both teachers and learners to engage in transaction of meaning and knowledge. In so doing, teaching language in context necessitates the inclusion of the target and native cultures. Accordingly, this paper is a seminal work regarding the development of an integrated English program in college and explores a possibility of project in which a group of teachers engage in team teaching and leading workshops to encourage college students to experience many different types of learning. Though experimental and tentative, this paper will lay the groundwork of designing, developing, and, more importantly, implementing new types of curricular and instructional approaches in the context of teaching both cultural contents and linguistic elements in college.

      • 지식기반사회와 대학교육의 변화

        This study is purposed to analyze on the Knowledge-based Society and Transformation of Higher Education. Knowledge-based Society is a middle stairway society of Industrial Economy and Quantum Economy. A general concept of Knowledge is changed. A required field of Knowledge is changed. A Universal Knowledge and a Vocational Ability to demand for each person is changed. This changes requires necessarily a reformation on the Paradigm and Curriculum of Higher Education. A reformation of Curriculum is more important. A reformation to the Practical Curriculum and Interdisciplinary Curriculum is a core assignment.

      • 중국문학과 한국문학의 영향관계 고찰 : 양계초와 노신의 경우 Based on liang-qi chao and Lu-shiuns' Literature

        This paper places its emphasis on the influence of chines literature on korean literature in the early 20th century. especially it describes the impact of the literary aspects of liang-qi chao and lu-shiun on korean literary arena. Liang-chi chao emphasizes the usefulness of novels the contemporary society. He criticizes that the traditional novels often encourage theft by being carless about his/her valuables and incite lust by displaying charm. He promotes patriotic novels which he believes would educate people through the translation of foreign novels and writing the original works of literature. His literary views deeply affect Korean literatures such as Sin-chea Ho, Park-Eun Sik ....., etc. They tried to back up the society by eliminating the old-style novels and supporting the new-wave novels. After Liang-Chi Chao, Lu Siun became one of the major representatives of the Chines contemporary literature. His works olso cause the great influence on Korean literary circles. Lee-Koang su, Lee-Byong chu and other famous Korean writers have been fascinated by Lushiu's works. From reading Lu's "home town" and "the Traditional drama", Lee-yuk sa gave himself to write " A Green horn's Diary" and "the lovers", the figure-forms in Lu's "A Bohemian's Diary" and "Kong-yi Gi" enlightened Han-sol Ya on originating the works " Grope" and "the Billows".

      • 통신산업의 원가구조특성에 관한 연구

        The cost of providing Universal Service should be calculated based on the characteristics of cost structure for different communication areas. We set-up the analytical model and survey the data for 75 communication areas to estimate the characteristics functions. 75 communication areas are grouped by applying K-means Cluster method and Discriminant analysis. Finally, Regression analysis is applied for each group.

According to this study, the most urgent countermeasure is to relax restrictions for the development on Boupju Tample area.

      • 멀티미디어 디자인 교육과정 개발에 관한 연구

        This research paper describes the development process of a curriculum design for a multimedia design area, which has never been explored in educational system before in Korea. The main purpose of this research is to provide meaningful multimedia design information to other person whose intention is to develop and design a curriculum for a multimedia design area. Information about courses and course design has been gatehered throughout design, educational engineering, and computer science schools inside and outside of the country. That information leads to the curriculum design for the multimedia designh after analysis. A final curriculum design is presented at the end of the paper.
