      • Alendronate가 흰쥐 뼈끝 연골판 성장에 미치는 영향

        Bisphosphonates inhibit bone resorption by affecting osteoclastic function and formation of osteoclasts from their precursor cells. Chondroclasts have the same origin and differentiation as osteoclasts. Thus, it is hypothesized that bisphosphonate can affect on cartilage metabolism. This study was aimed to elucidate effects of alendronate, a nitrogen containing bisphosphonate, on cartilage development in the tibial proximal and femoral distal epiphyseal plates in rats. Alendronate (1 mg/kg) was subcutaneously administered in growing rat pups for 10 days. Several parameters such as the number and size of chondroclasts, involved in cartilage resorption, size of secondary ossification center and thickness of cartilage cell layers were measured and analysed by histomorphometry. The size of the secondary ossification centers in the tibial proximal and femoral distal epiphysis was smaller in the alendronate treated group (p<0.01). The number of osteoclasts in the both the ossification centers and chondroclasts beneath the epiphyseal plates was significantly decreased byalendronate treatment (p<0.01). The size of chondroclasts was not significantly changed (p>0.05). The thickness of proliferating cartilage layer was not changed, but by contrast, hypertrophied cartilage layer was increased in thickness by alendronate treatment. These findings suggest that bisphosphonates can affect cartilage cell metabolism in a chondroprotective way.

      • 관상동맥색전증에 의한 급성심근경색증 4예

        Acute myocardial infarction(AMI) due to coronary embolism can occur in patients with normal coronary artery. Coronary embolism is believed to be a cause of acute myocardial infarction when emergent coronary angiography shows perfectly normal coronary trees, except for the finding of coronary artery occlusion. In this report, we describe four patients with AMI due to coronary embolism who were successfully treated using a thrombus aspiration device and anticoagulation, and those patients had intracardial thrombus arising from the left atrium due to chronic atrial fibrillation and valvular heart disease. Patients with chronic or paroxysmal atrial fibrillation can present with AMI due to coronary embolism, and thrombus aspiration with percutaneous aspiration device is a feasible treatment option for these patients along with anticoagulation the rapy.

      • 고주파용 칩인덕터 유리소재 개발

        The glass systems of SiO_2-Al_2O_3-B_2O_3-K_2O were fabricated with the composition of SiO_2 65∼76wt%, B_2O_3 20∼30wt%, Al_2O_3 0.3∼4.5wt%, and K_2O 0.5∼2.5wt% for mother glass of high frequency chip inductor. The glasses were prepared by quenching the melt from 1500℃ and analyzed by X-ray diffraction. The specimens were prepared with composites of ball milled glasses powder mixed with 0∼50wt% of alumina powder. After heat treating at 850℃∼950℃, sintering behaviors were observed by measuring the density of specimens as a function of temperature and the amount of alumina. Dielectric constants and dissipation factors were evaluated with HP-4192A as well as other crucial properties such as strength, softening point and thermal expansion. The density, dielectric constant and dissipation factor of specimen were 2.61g/㎟, 5.9∼6.2 and 0.0013∼0.0016 at 1㎒, respectively.

      • 유전알고리즘을 이용한 수직벽면 이동 로봇의 정·동적 최적설계

        Most shipbuilding works are manually carried out by workers, and safety consideration is an important issue especially in elevated-spot works such as painting and cleaning of outer wall of a ship. To cope with the circumstance, shipbuilding makers start to introduce wall-climbing robots for carrying out such tasks. In designing such a wall-climbing robot, it is essential to minimize its own weight to improve the performance such as moving speed and power saving. For such purpose, this paper proposes a method of optimal design for a wall-climbing robot body using genetic algorithm through static and dynamic analysis. Specifically, the thickness of the robot base is minimized to reduce the weight while maintaining the allowable strength and avoiding resonance frequencies. The proposed method is applied to the design of a wall-climbing robot, and the simulation results show that the method can be successfully adopted to the early stage of design.

      • 腰痛을 同伴한 足下垂 患者 1例에 대한 臨床報告

        After treating a patient suffering from foot drop which is caused by peroneal nerve paralysis, some result are gained as follows. Patient, 73 years old women, was treated from June 7 to July 15 in oriental hospital of Daejeon University. This disease is foot drop is caused by peroneal nerve paralysis which paralyze tibialis anterior muscle, fibula muscle, and extensor musculi of foot. Peroneal nerve contains nerve root of L4, L5, S1 and S2. Foot drop correspond to flaccidity-syndrome(^ISE). Flaccidity-syndrome(?/症) means that the muscle and the pulse of body is relaxed and the limbs become week and the man have a difficulty to move for oneself. The cause of this case on oriental medicine is Yin-deficiency of liver and kidney. Treatments which was based on cause of oriental medicine - herb medication, acupuncture treatment, electronic acupuncture treatment and moxibustion - have a good effect to patient.

Food absorption inhibiter and Heat making promoter. 3. Oriental medication is sorted the xu(虛:deficiency) and the shi(實:excess). medication of xu and shi is sorted various method each other. 4. Appetite inhibiter and Food absorption inhibiter of western medication is related to Enrich the blood and Enrich yin(補血養陰) of oriental medication. Heat making promoter of western medication is related to Invigorate vital energy and Invigorate the spleen(補氣健脾) and Warm yang(溫陽). 5. Medication of shi of oriental medication is difficult to find in western medication.

      • 반응성 DC sputtering법으로 제조한 AIN박막의 수소첨가효과

        In GaAs devices, the development of a finer insulator instead of SiO₂to be used the insulator of Si has been made good progress. That, however, is not to be enough. We studied the development of the finer insulator in GaAs devices. The AIN has the characteristics of thermal stability over 2400℃ and resistivity over 10 13 Ω, and superior insulator characteristic to have rate of thermal expansion(a=4.2x10 -6, b=5.3x10 -6/K) similar with SiO₂and GaAs. An AIN has been evaluated good applied insulator for above characteristics in chemical compound. Then, the purpose of this paper is a development of MIS devices using AIN as an insulator, and is to investigate a electrical characteristic changing by H₂addition to AIN. The ratio of H₂addition was established by 5%. The pressure was maintained by 5 mTorr and the DC power was supplied by 150W during the experiment. The H₂addition to AIN may have an effect on diminishing impurities on surface and improves the properties as an insulator to a MIS structures.

      • 700MHZ대역의 마이크로파 적층 스트립라인 칩 대역통과 필터설계 및 제작

        In this thesis, we studied the design and fabrication of microwave multilayer chip filter using by coupled stripline resonator. The microwave multilayer chip filter operating at 700[MHz] is fabricated and designed. The size of microwave multilayer chip filter is 4.5×4.4×1.8[mm]. Insertion loss and center frequency of the fabricated chip filter are 2.58[dB] and 692.5[MHz] respectively. The center frequency was lower 7.5[MHz] than design result, but other characteristics of chip filter were similar to the results of simulation.

      • 페녹시계 제초제 MCPA를 분해하는 토양세균의 분리 및 특성 연구

        A pure culture that can utilize 4-chloro-2-methylphenoxyacetic acid(MCPA) as a sole carbon and energy source was isolated from soil samples. Initially, clear zone formation on thin-layered MCPA agar plates was observed around spot inoculum of the isolate. As the results of various physiological and biochemical tests, the isolate was identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The bacterium was able to degrade MCPA(300㎎/L) completely within 7 days of incubation as determined by UV-spectrophotometric analysis.
