Mouse 十二指腸 運動에 미치는 Clover Saponin의 藥理學的 硏究

The purpose of this study was to investigated the effect of Trifolium repens(Clover saponin A) on the isolated mouse's duodenum. Clover saponin A(1, 3 and 10mg/ml) induced relaxation of mouse's duodenum. Relaxing effect of clover saponin A was not influenced by regitine, propranolol, atropine, diphenhydramine, methysergide or barium chloride. Clover saponin A did not effect to the contractile response of isolated mouse's duodenum to acetylcholine. Tetracaine antagonized the relaxing effect of clover saponin A on the mouse's duodenum. From the above results, it is suggested that relaxing effect of clover saponin A on the isolated mouse's duodenum in mainly due to inhibit the depolarization of cell membrane.
생약성분이 Aspergillus parasiticus의 발육과 Aflatoxin 생산에 미치는 효과

The research was carried out for the purpose of finding effects of herbal constituents derived from pearl barley(α) and white mulberry (β&γ) on growth and aflatoxin synthesis by A. parasiticus. The mold were grown at 30℃ with 10 6? condia for 9 days on the enriched medium that is optimum for /the growth and aflatoxin production by the mold. There was no significant difference evaluating the growth weighing dry mass. However, the protein intensity of the mold was dense at the molecular weight range from 14.5 K dalton to 66 K dalton when the constituent β was used. Aflatoxin accumulation was activated at all levels of concentrations in the presence of constituent γ while 2% of the constituent α inhibited strongly. The lowest ability to accumulate aflatoxins was observed when the intensity of small molecular weight was sparse.

Recently, as the alternatives to preserve environment such as effective usage of wastes or unusable resources are drawing attentions, researches and measures for the two tasks, which are reuse of waste wood and development of eco~friendly materials, are being examined and established in various fields. However, they are still insufficient. Therefore, in this study, for the efficient application of waste woods and eco~friendly effects, mortar was produced using sawdust as the waste wood and mineral material cement for combination, in order to produce inorganic boards using waste woods, which were made when sawing. The present study purposed to analyze the physical and dynamic characteristics of woody cement boards, which were made by modifying water~cement ratio for each wood inclusion rate based on a hardening~accelerator inclusion rate set in previous studies and, based on the findings, to provide basic data about the physical properties of inorganic boards made of waste wood, in order to produce woody cement boards using waste wood, which has problems in being used in the manufacturing of woody cement boards.
신부전이 동반된 당뇨병 환자에서 발생된 침습성 모균증 : 수술과 Liposomal amphotericin B 및 GM-CSF 병합 요법에 의한 성공적인 치험 1예

저자들은 신부전이 동반된 당뇨병 환자에서 발생된 부비동형 모균증에 대하여 수술과 함께 liposomal amphotericin B 및 GM-CSF의 복합치료를 하여 성공적으로 치료한 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Mucormycosis (zygomycosis) primarily affects diabetic or immunocompromised patients and typically progresses rapidly, necessitating surgical excision and antifungal therapy with amphotericin B. Large doses of amphotericin B are needed for cure, but it has the risk of causing significant renal toxicity. The recent development of liposomal amphotericin B allows antifungal therapy to be administered with potentially improved efficacy and reduced nephrotoxicity. We have experienced a case of paranasal mucormycosis successfully treated with surgery, liposomal amphotericin B and GM-CSF. A 59-year-old male suffering from diabetes mellitus for 6 years was admitted with pain at left maxillary area. He was diagnosed as mucormycosis after cytologic exam on the necrotic nasal mucosa, which showed typical hyphae. He have had diabetic nephropathy with macroproteinuria and had rapidly rising serum creatinine levels with the amphotericin B treatment: creatinine levels reverted to basal level with the use of liposomal amphotericin B. Despite surgical excision and continued antifungal therapy, his infection was not effectively controlled. Therefore, GM-CSF was administered additionally to improve phagocytic activity of leukocytes. He was finally cured after receiving a combination of aggressive surgery, liposomal amphotericin B and GM-CSF. To our knowledge, this is the first detailed clinical description of the treatment of mucormycosis with liposomal amphotericin B in Korea.

An investigation of the MeOH soluble fractions of a marine sponge Psammocinia sp. (Order:Dictyoceratida) led to the isolation of a new epidioxy sterol (1) and four known sterols (2-5). Their planarstructures were defined by analyses of the spectroscopic data. The 27-nor-24-methylcholestan type side chain withan epidioxy nucleus (1) was unprecedented. Compounds 1-5 were isolated from a sponge Psammocinia sp. for the first time.
A Modified Alkaline Hydrolysis of Total Ginsenosides Yielding Genuine Aglycones nad Prosapogenols

To improve the yield of genuine aglycones from glycosides, the conditions of alkaline hydrolysis were investigated, and a modified method was established. The modified method empolyed pyridine as an aprotic solvent. To complete the hydrolysis and obtain 20(S)-protopanaxadiol (1) and 20(S)-protopanaxatriol(2), which are the genuine aglycones of ginsenosides, total ginsenosides were refluxed with sodium methoxide in pyridine. Addition of methanol, a protic polar solvent to the reaction miuxture, led partial hydrolysis yielding a mixture of the genuine prosapogenols. Of the prosapogenols compound 3 and 6 characteristically possessed D-glucopyranosyl moiety attached at the sterically hindered C-20 hydroxyl group. 3 and 6 were not obtaijned by other hydrolysisw methods except by the soil bacterial hydrolysis.

The experiments were conducted by supplying hosts with natural food(chestnut, peach, Quince). The developmental difference of peach pyralid moth, Dichocrocis punctiferalis was examined in the laboratory under three different natural food regime. The periods of egg, larva and pupa were $6.01{\pm}0.07$, $12.23{\pm}0.03$ and $13.32{\pm}0.01$ days on the chestnut fruit, $6.21{\pm}0.01$, $18.69{\pm}0.02$ and $13.38{\pm}0.03$ days on the peach fruit and $7.02{\pm}0.04$, $22.62{\pm}0.04$ and $13.44{\pm}0.14$ days on the quince fruit, respectively. The growth of D. punctiferalis larva was better chestnut fruit than other tested fruits. The rates(%) of hatching, pupation and emergence were 94.0, 57.0 and 63.3 on the chestnut fruit, 89.2, 77.8 and 85.7 on the peach fruit and 79.6, 52.6 and 70.7 on the quince fruit, respectively. The survival rate(%) of D. punctiferalis from hatching to emergence were 31.0 on the chestnut fruit, 4.8 on the peach fruit and 14.3 on the quince fruit, respectively. The sex ratio (female: male) of all pupae obtained on the tested natural food fruits were 52.7 : 47.3. The sex ratio of D. punctiferalis reared on three difference food fruits were no significantly. It can be used a as the basic research for the study of D. punctiferalis.
