        용량별 죽력 투여가 생쥐의 간과 신장의 조직 및 혈액학적 변화에 미치는 영향

        Objectives : Bambusae Caulis in Liquamen extracts (BE) has been used for various curative effect that remove intense heat from the heart, replenish deficiency Yin, nourish deficiency blood, resolve phlegm. This study was performed to investigate the toxicity of BE to mice according to the administered dosage. Methods : The experimental groups divided four. Control group treated saline, J1 group treated BE and distilled water in the ratio of 1:15(0.05ml/kg), F2 group treated BE and distilled water in the ratio of 1:7(0.05ml/kg), J3 group treated BE and distilled water in the ratio of 1:17(0.05ml/kg). We administered BE to the mice for 24 weeks at interval of 48 hours, and investigated the body weight, changes in hematological profile, activities of the transaminase(GOT, GPT) and two hepatic antioxidant enzyme(SOD, catalase), and histological changes of the liver and kidney. Results : Leukocytes of J3 group were increased in the administered for 12 weeks, but decreased in the administered for 24 weeks. Platelets were decreased about 36% in J3 group treated for 12 weeks, but increased about 50% in the same group treated for 24 weeks. Blood total proteins were decreased slightly in the all experimental groups compared with control group. The activities of the transaminase and superoxide dismutase(SOD) were increased, but decreased activities of catalase in the J2 and J3 groups administered for 12 or 24 weeks. In the light microscopical observation, ballooned and injured hepatocytes in portal vein area of J1 group occurred, and dilated hepatocytes and disoriented sinusoid observed in J2 group administered extracts to mice for 24 weeks. Apoptosis occured in the ballooned and injured hepatocytes of the portal vein area in J3 group. A agglutination of RBC in glomerular capsule of the kidney observed in the J2 group, and destructed convoluted tubule observed in the J3 group treated for 24 weeks. Conclusions : These results indicate that mice treated with high dose BE develop a hematological changes, dysfuncton of the liver and kidney.

        생체용 Ti합금의 양극분극특성에 미치는 Zr 및 Pd의 영향

        The corrosion resistance of Ti-Zr-Pd-Cr alloys were investigated in order to reveal their possible use for new biomedical implant materials. Titanium alloys consisting of 10∼20%Zr, 0.0∼0.4%Pd and 0.15%Cr were prepared by vacuum arc-melting as alloying elements instead of using hardness Al and V in response to recent concerns about the long term safety of Ti-6%Al-4%V ELI alloys. The Ti-Zr-Pd-Cr alloys were heat-treated at 1000℃ for 2hrs under a vacuum atmosphere. The effect of Zr and Pd Ti alloys on the corrosion resistance for biomedical implant was investigating the anodic polarization curve at 37℃ in 5%HCI solution deaerated by high-purity N₂gas bubbling. The critical current density for passivation(I ) of Ti-Zr-Pd-Cr alloys didn't reveal markedly. Passive current density(I ) at 1.0V vs. SCE of this alloys decreased with increasing Zr in the contents from 10 to 20% and decreased with containing Pd in the range from 0.2 to 0.4%. Potential(E ) at 0.1A * m-² of this alloys increased with increasing Zr in the contents from 10 to 20% and increased with containing Pd in the range from 0.2 to 0.4%. For the Co-30%Cr-6%Mo alloy, passivity zone is narrow, and rapid increase of current density result from the low potential in comparison with Ti and Ti alloys. The corrosion resistance by the anodic polarization of Ti-20%Zr-0.2%Pd-0.15%Cr alloy was found to be superior to those of the Ti, Ti-6%Al-4%V alloy and Co-30%Cr-6%Mo alloy. The passive films formed on the Ti-20%Zr-0.2%Pd-0.15%Cr and Ti-6%Al-4%V alloys in the anodic polarization test consist mainly of TiO₂, Ti compound, ZrO₂, Al₂O₃and V₂O₃.

      • 홍국균의 최적배양조건에 관한 연구

        Cell growth and pigment productivity of Monascus anka KCCM 11832 and Monascus sp. has isolated from the Korean Maeju(soybean koji) were determined for effect of culture medium composition and incubation conditions. Increase of NH₄NO₃, and KH₂PO₄ concentration as mineral source promoted mycelium growth, and the highest cell growth was showed in the medium with 0.05% KH₂PO₄ when C/N ratio is 20:1, but pigment production was significantly inhibited at higher concentration than this level. Cell growth and pigment production in porato dextrose medium were higher than those in czapeck-dox broth and malt extract medium. In terms of temperature, the highest cell growth was showed at 34℃, but pigment productivity was the highest at 26℃.

      • Halothane 마취중 Vecuronium과 Pancuronium 투여가 심혈관계 및 회복시간에 미치는 영향

        This study was taken to abserve the effect on cardiovascular response and recovery time with pancuronium and vecuronium. The patients was composed of 20 healthly both sex adults who belong to class I of ASA physical status. Vecuronium 0.1mg/kg(N=10) and pancuronium 0.1mg/kg(N=10) was injected independently at 20 minutes after intubation by succinylcholine 1mg/kg and thiopental sodium. The results were as follow. 1. There were not a significant difference in arterial blood pressure and pulse rate before and after vecuronium injection. 2. After pancuronium administration, arterial blood pressure was not significant change but pulse rate showed significant increasing. 3. In the recovery time when T_1 was recovered to 25% after administration of muscle relaxants respectively, there were 26±7.2 min, vecuronium and 67±11.2 min, in pancuronium. 3. EKG was not change before and after vecuronium.

        패션관련 전시회 참가기업의 참가행태 분석

        Various types of industry, from manufacturing industry to service industry, can be a subject of exhibition. So, subdivided studies about exhibition for each type of industry or field are necessary. However, there are still insufficient studies about them. Also, fashion industry related exhibitions should be classified differently from other industries' exhibitions because of their special features. Therefore, this study examines that how an exhibition is utilized as a promotion means of a company and the present condition of a fashion exhibition. It also compares a fashion exhibition with other industrial exhibitions to suggest the effective operations and the progressive promotion of the fashion exhibition. This study uses questionnaire from 140 companies for 5 exhibitions, which participated fashion related exhibitions. Data of this study is statistically analyzed using SPSS for window ver. 10.0 program. It also uses frequency, cross tabs, paired t-test, Independent Samples t-test. As a result of this study, fashion related companies' recognition of exhibitions has been increased. However, in terms of exhibition participation, attitudes such as pre-promotion or pre-education for the staff, who are in charge of the exhibition booths, and the outcome of the exhibition aren't maximized because the right under-standing concerning exhibitions is lacking and long-term preparation is insufficient. Also, advertisement for the exhibitions isn't enough because of insufficient preparation and absence of pre-promotion, so consultation with promising buyers can't be activated. Even though there are consultations, the consultations don't have much effect.

      • 가막사리(Bidens tripartita L.)와 미국가막사리(Bidens frondosa L.) 종자의 발아에 미치는 몇가지 요인

        The experiments were conducted to determine the factors such as light and darkness, phytohormone and seed coat, influencing on seed germination of Bidens tripartita L. and B. frondosa. The seeds of both species were germinated when seed coat was damaged and weakened GA3 and BA stimulated germination of both species but ABA and IAA had no effect on germination of them, which ranged 50.0% to 80.0%. In B. forndosa, when inner layer of seed coat was removed, germination was highly promoted up to 96.7% compared with 10.0% germination rate in another treatments.

        초두구, 草果, 益智仁의 形態 鑑別에 관한 硏究

        Objectives : In order to distinguish Alpiniae Katsumadai Semen, Tsaoko Fructus, and Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus, external, internal, and flour states of them were examined by microscope. Method : The slice of the tested material made by paraffin section technique was colored with safranine malachite green contrast methods, and the flour of it was mounted by the liquid made by the same ratio of each of glycerin, acetic acid, and water, and then observed and photographed by olymphus-BHT.(Japan) Result 1. As for external forms, lump of seed of Alpiniae Katsumadai Semen, Tsaoko Fructus, and Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus were divided by 3 yellow wall, each of which contains 20~100 seeds of Alpiniae Katsumadai Semen, 8~11 seeds of Tsaoko Fructus, and 6~11 seeds of Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus. 2. As for internal states, seed coat of Alpiniae Katsumadai Semen were composed of 1~2 layers of oil cells, Tsaoko Fructus was composed of two layers of oil cells, and endopleura was composed of one layer of brown stone cells, which is 100~200 ㎛ long and 40~50 ㎛ wide, and arranged in a radial direction, oil cells of seed coat of Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus was composed of 3-4 layers of cells. 3. As for the flour form, the flour of Alpiniae Katsumadai Semen is arranged like one row of palisade in the cross-section of seed coat, its cells were arranged in the direction of radiation by 24~31 ㎛, in its tangential direction by 13~30 ㎛, while the flour of Tsaoko Fructus was arranged in the direction of radiation by 100~120 ㎛, in its tangential direction by 40~50 ㎛, and the flour of Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus was 27~36 ㎛ in radial direction and 13~18 ㎛ in tangential direction. Conclusion : Alpiniae Katsumadai Semen, Tsaoko Fructus, and Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus showed definite difference in their external and internal states as well as their flour forms, so that it is possible to use a microscope to distinguish them.

      • 이구아나 꼬리의 再生에 관한 연구

        This study was conducted to investigate the ultrastructural alterations and the appearance of new proteins during regeneration of the tail of iguana. The intact or regenerating tissues were prepared for electron microscopy and electrophoresis. On the electron microscopy of the regenerating spinal cord of iguana, spherical nuclei with much of euchromatin were observed. Heterochromatin were uniformly condensed in nuclei and distinctly vacuolated nuclear envelope was found. It was though that the cells showed high synthetic activities. SDS-PAGE analysis revealed some distinct bands which were not present in intact groups.
