Recently, the robustness against daily impact is important according to portablization and downsizing of mobile electronics. Especially, almost parts of cellular phone should undergo drop test when they fall 1.5 m above ground. This test simulates the case when cellular phone slips through user's fingers while he is talking on the phone. This paper studies a drop test of auto focusing (AF) actuator for camera module in cellular phone. This component is composed of voice coil motor (VCM) as an actuator and leaf spring as a guide and suspension. The leaf spring's deformation is essential for the test because its permanent distortion disables the focusing, and then, a high quality photograph cannot be obtained. Up to now the drop test has been carried out after fabricating real AF actuator. We propose a dropt test model which simulates the drop test based on finite element analysis. This model makes us enable investigate the stress acting on the clamping and curved parts of leaf spring. Stress over Von Mises criterion lets the spring deformed permanently, and then AF actuator malfunctioned, It helps us to design and modify AF actuator without manufacturing the real product. And also, it saves the time and cost for the development of new products.

This paper presents virtual machining system in order to realize turning process in virtual space. A reliable virtual turning process simulation was developed based on the surface shaping system which is capable of considering geometric model, thermal error model, and vibration model. Accuracy of surface shape resulting from proposed machining simulator was verified experimentally. This paper also developed the watchdog agent that continuously assessed, diagnosed, and predicted performance of products and machines in machining. The Watchdog agent extracted feature signal using time-frequency analysis among various signals from multi-sensor and evaluated machining condition using performance confidence value.

Vasculitis is a heterogeneous group of diseases that destroy blood vessel walls by inflammation. Approximately half of vasculitis cases are idiopathic, but sometimes associated with genetic factors, medicines, chronic infection, autoimmune diseases, and malignancies. Although the mechanism remains unclear, vasculitis secondary to malignancy, also known as paraneoplastic vasculitis, has been reported. It is generally associated with hematologic malignancies rather than solid malignancies and commonly presents as leukocytoclastic vasculitis or polyarteritis nodosa. We experienced a case of leukocytoclastic vasculitis in a patient with hepatocellular carcinoma and membranous obstruction of the inferior vena cava. As the micro technology and miniaturization of a structure and component in the last couple of decades have been concretely realized, the understanding of structural and dynamic characteristics and prediction of dynamic behavior are indispensable to the miniaturized structures and micro machines. This paper shows the effect of dynamic characteristics in bolt-jointed structures by comparing natural frequencies and mode shapes between macro and micro-scale beams through experimental modal analysis and finite element analysis with a1 8 test models by materials, by size, and by joining condition; that is, SS41 and A16061-T651, micro and macro, and monolithic beam and bolt-jointed beam.

The micro factory of size is so small that consuming power is reduced and also manufacturing line could be easily reconfigurable. The micro factory is required automation to satisfy high productivity. It is one of the big problems to convey goods, In case of automated reconfigurable micro factory. Planar motor that can perform linear motion in XY direction is one of solution that solves this problem. But conventional planar motor using a magnetic force has a disadvantage that planar motor base is permanent magnet. In this paper we consider new type of a planar motor based on principle of ultrasonic waves using PZT.

This paper deals with a prediction method of tool life in view of the reliability assessment. In this study, the flank wear was studied among multi-factors deciding the tool wear state. Firstly, tool life was predicted by correlation between flank wear and cutting time, based on the extended Taylor tool life equation of turning data, including parameters of cutting speed, feed rate, and cutting depth. Secondly, each of cutting conditions of endmilling was equivalently converted to apply ball endmill data to the extended Taylor equation. The web-based reliability prediction program for tool life is being developed as one of reliability assessment programs to for the machine tools.
알코올 사용 장애 환자에서 알코올 사용의 심각도에 따른 불안 및 우울 증상과의 연관성

Objectives:The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships of anxiety& depressive symptoms according to the severity of alcohol use in patients with alcohol use disorder. Methods:A total of 85 patients with alcohol use disorders were enrolled in this study. The severity of alcohol use was measured by the Korean version of alcohol use disorders identification test(AUDIT-K)& National Alcohol Screening test(NAST). Anxiety and depressive symptoms were measured by using the Beck Anxiety Inventory(BAI) and the Beck Depression Inventory(BDI), respectively. Pearson’s correlation test was applied to correlate among the severity of alcohol use, anxiety and depressive symptoms. Results:The mean scores of AUDIT-K, NAST, BAI and BDI were 22.22(±8.28), 6.24(±3.25), 18.64(±13.08), and 22.05(±10.13), respectively. Pearson’s correlation test showed that between the score of AUDIT-K and NAST, BAI or BDI, there were positively significant correlations(r=.534, p<.01 r=.231, p<.05 r=.334, p<.01), respectively. And in cases of≥26 score of AUDIT-K, there were much more positive correlations with BAI(r=.425, p<.05). Conclusion:The results of this study demonstrated that patients with alcohol use disorders have high co-morbid anxiety and depressive disorders. Overall, the greater severity of alcohol use may be associated with more anxiety and depressive symptoms. However, it is suggested that in the patients with severe alcohol use, correlation appeared to be positive only for anxiety symptoms.

For reliability assessment for machine tools, failure mode analyses by two viewpoints were studied in this paper. First, this study developed the reliability data analysis program, which searches for optimal failure distribution like failure rate or MTBF(Mean Time Between Failure) using failure data and reliability test data of mechanical parts in the web. Moreover, this data analysis program saves both failure data or reliability test data and their failure rate or MTBF for database establishment. Second, this paper conducted failure mode analysis through such performance tests as circular movement test and vibration testing for machine tools when reliability data is not available. A developed web-based analysis program shows correlations between failure mode and performance test result, and also accumulates all the data. These kinds of data analysis programs and stored data furnish valuable information for improving the reliability of mechanical system.

This work will develop a 6-DOF precision aligner with small size and high resolution for assembling the micro parts for a mobile electronics. Here, Tiny PicomotorTM actuator that is small and reliable will be applied to this aligner system. The principle of this actuator is PZT that turns a precision thread and then the screw moves linearly. Arrangement of actuators will be a symmetrical based on kinematic design. This paper presents combining two modules of mechanism for the 6-DOF precision aligner. The first is a stage which can control XYθz motion, and the second can control Z motion, in other words, Z tilt motion. According to its specifications, it is expected to satisfy requirement of precision.
공작 기계의 신뢰성 평가를 위한 웹 기반 해석 프로그램 개발

Web-based analysis programs for reliability assessment of machine tools were developed in this study. First, the reliability data analysis program was developed to search for failure rate using failure data and reliability test data of mechanical part. Second, failure mode analysis was developed through performance tests like circular movement test vibration test for machine tools. This analysis program shows correlation between failure mode and performance test result. Third, tool life was predicted by correlation between flank wear and cutting time, using the extended Taylor tool life equation in turning data and the equivalently converted equation in order to apply ball endmill data to Taylor tool life equation in milling data. All the information related to input and result data can be stored in theses programs.
