        Upper gastrointestinal bleeding is common and potentially life threatening medical emergency. Emergency endoscopy is the first choice of diagnostic and treatment measure for patients with active upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Histoacryl should be considered a second-line treatment modality when conventional treatments were failed. However, it might cause several complications. Herein, we report a case of acute pancreatitis developed after histoacryl injection therapy for active duodenal ulcer bleeding. A 71-year-old man was admitted with melena and hematemesis. On emergency endoscopy, a 2 cm sized active ulcer with bleeding from an exposedvessel was seen at the duodenal bulb. Attempts to arrest the bleeding with hemoclipping and submucosal epinephrine injection were tried, but failed. We changed the method to endoscopic histoacryl injection, and obtained hemostasis immediately. A few hourslater, after successful hemostasis, patient complained diffuse abdominal pain. Ultrasonography revealed hyperechoic heterogenous diffuse pancreatic enlargement and right pararenal space fluid collection, this ultrasonographic findings and elevated serum pancreatic enzymes are compatible with acute pancreatitis.

        A new interactive computer program for design and examination of the automobile transmission gear is developed. The design data of a shifted helical gear sets are calculated and the contact ratio and the strength condition are examined. The involute curve and a root fillet of the designed tooth profile are graphically presented, and the informations for tooth profile such as root point, weakest section point, etc. are obtained. The whole engaging gear shape and contact state are certificated in Autocad. To check the lubrication conditions, the minimum film thickness is calculated and compared with the surface roughness data. Therefore the computer program made in this paper gives more improved practical tool in designing a automobile gear set.

        陸上競技 단거리選手의 訓練時間이 순발력에 미치는 영향

        The aim of this thesis is to explain the effect of the training time on the measure elements such as Sargent Jump and Standing broad Jump Comparing with the training times of sprinters at middle and high school. The subject of this experiment were 14 sprinters of H.girl's middle and high school in Busan. They were trained for 8 weeks. One group of them was trained once a day, and another, twice a day. The conclusion of this experiment are as follows. 1) The high-school sprinters had Sargent Jump training twice a day, but no significant change were made. The middle-school sprionters of low experience advanced by 1 or 2 cm. 2) Experienced girl's high-school sprinters with twice a day training advanced a little in Standing broad Jump, but no significant change was made. But girl's middle-school sprinters advanced by 1∼10cm.

        PCR을 이용한 국내시장에 유통중인 유전자재조합 콩 및 가공식품의 모니터링

        본 연구에서는 PCR을 이용하여 국내시장에 유통중인 원료콩과 가공식품에 epsps 또는 pat 유전자가 삽입된 유전자재조합 콩(GMS)의 사용여부를 모니터링하였다. 이러한 GMS의 검출을 위해 3쌍의 primer set을 제작하였고, 각각의 primer들은 GMS에 삽입된 유전자와 특이적으로 반응하여 PCR산물을 생성하였다. 2001년 표시제가 시행되기 이전에 생산된 총 가공식품과 이후의 제품에 대해 각각 모니터링을 수행하였으며, 표시제 이전에 생산된 제품의 경우 대부분의 미국산 원료에서 esps가 삽입된 GMS가 검출되었으나, 표시제 이후에는 검출되지 않았다. A method using PCR was developed for the monitoring of genetically modified soybean (GMS) and GMS derived foods utilized in the market. We designed 3 pairs of specific oligonucleotide primers based on epsps and pat inserted in GMS and ferritin gene as internal standards. Template DNAs isolated from soybean and processed foods were used for multiplex PCR with 3 primer sets. PCR, used with specific primer sets for GMS detection, showed the amplified DNA fragments with GMS template DNA. In this study, GMS containing epsps was detected from soy processed foods manufactured before GM food labeling system, however, GMS containing epsps or pat was not detected from soy processed foods manufactured after GM food labeling system.

      • 오매(Fructus Mume)의 항산화물질의 분리 및 특성연구

        천연물로부터 새로운 항산화제를 개발하기 위한 연구의 일환으로 한방에서 사용되는 한약재 중의 하나인 오매(烏梅)의 물 추출물과 메탄을 추출물 및 순차 분획물에 대해 팜유, 우지와 돈지를 기질로하여 유지저아시험, Rancumat method, 전자공여작용 등으로 항산화성을 확인한 결과, EtOAc 분획물에서 강한 항산화 활성을 나타내어 column chromatography, thin layer chromatography를 통하여 활성성분에 관한 연구를 시도하였다. 1. 오매 용매분획물 중 EtOAc 분획물(400 ppm)은 유지저장실험(60℃)에서, 팜유, 우지와 돈지에 모두 우수한 효과를 나타내었으며, 특히 우지에서 높은 활성을 나타내었고, BHA(200 ppm)와 α-tocopherol(200 ppm)보다 활성이 높았다. 2. 오매 EtOAc 분획물(400 ppm)은 Rancimat method에서는 팜유, 우지와 돈지에 비교적 우수한 효과를 나타내었으며, 우지에서 AI가 4.39로 상당히 높은 활성을 나타내었다. 3. 오매의 용매분획물 중 EtOAc 분획물이 DPPH라디칼에 대한 강한 소거활성을 나타내었으며, 그 활성은 EtOAc 분획물의 농도에 의존하여 증가하였고, SC_(50)은 21.2μg/ml이었다. 4. 오매 EtOAc 분획물에서 분리한 8개 획분 중 E4에서 SC_(50)이 16.7μg/ml으로 높은 DPPH 라디칼 소거활성을 나타내었으며, 원인 물질은 여러 가지 스펙트럼 측정 결과 수종 물질이 혼합물인 것으로 밝혀져, 보다 순수한 형태로의 분리 후 정확한 동정의 시도가 요구되었다. Fructus Mume is the roasted hits of Prunus mwme and has been used as tradibonal Chmese medicine. The anboxidatwe effect of the extract from Fructus Mume was measured using different methodsn such as, electron donating abdihes(EDA), Rancimat and oven tests. The methanol extract obtained from the Fructus Mume was solvent-fractionated with ethyl acetate, n-butanol and water, respectively. The ethyl acetate fraction showed the highest antioxidative activity among them. To identify the compounds with antioxidative activity, the isolates from thm layer chromatography were studied further. This study demonstrates that Fructus Mume might be useful for the prevention or treatment of disorders associated with oxidative damage.

        Strain type of lactic acid bacteria was analysed by PCR and SDS-PAGE. PCR allows the rapid and specific detection of lactic acid bacteria using primers based on 16S rRNA gene-sequences. The analysis of protein pattern on SDS-PAGE can be used to determine the differences among the same or similar species of lactic acid bacteria. Therefore, the complementary use of PCR and SDS-PAGE method is one of simple way to classify the lactic acid bacteria and to compare with genetic analysis.

        A Morphometric Study of the Obturator Nerve around the Obturator Foramen

        Objective : Obturator neuropathy is a rare condition. Many neurosurgeons are unfamiliar with the obturator nerve anatomy. The purpose of this study was to define obturator nerve landmarks around the obturator foramen. Methods : Fourteen cadavers were studied bilaterally to measure the distances from the nerve root to relevant anatomical landmarks near the obturator nerve, including the anterior superior iliac spine (ASIS), the pubic tubercle, the inguinal ligament, the femoral artery, and the adductor longus. Results : The obturator nerve exits the obturator foramen and travels infero-medially between the adductors longus and brevis. The median distances from the obturator nerve exit zone (ONEZ) to the ASIS and pubic tubercle were 114 mm and 30 mm, respectively. The median horizontal and vertical distances between the pubic tubercle and the ONEZ were 17 mm and 27 mm, respectively. The shortest median distance from the ONEZ to the inguinal ligament was 19 mm. The median inguinal ligament lengths from the ASIS and the median pubic tubercle to the shortest point were 103 mm and 24 mm, respectively. The median obturator nerve lengths between the ONEZ and the adductor longus and femoral artery were 41 mm and 28 mm, respectively. Conclusion : The obturator nerve exits the foramen 17 mm and 27 mm on the horizontal and sagittal planes, respectively, from the pubic tubercle below the pectineus muscle. The shallowest area is approximately one-fifth medially from the inguinal ligament. This study will help improve the accuracy of obturator nerve surgeries to better establish therapeutic plans and decrease complications.

        신춘문예 제도의 명칭과 기원에 관한 연구

        이 논문은 신춘문예의 명칭 성립 과정과 그 기원에 대해 본격적으로 살펴본 것이다. 초기의 신춘문예는 그 정체성이 명확하게 규정되지 않은 채 시행되어 왔었고, 구체적인 제도가 정착된 것은 1925년 무렵이었다. 신춘문예는 그 명칭도 다양하게 변모되었는데, 연구의 범위를 정하기 위해서는 가정 먼저 그 정의가 필요했다. 본고에서는 ‘여러 부문의 문학 신인 선발을 목적으로 신문사에서 매년 행하는 문예행사’로 정의했다. 신춘문예의 출발점으로는 ‘각지기문(各地奇聞), 속요(俗謠), 소화(笑話), 시(詩), 단편소설(短篇小說), 서정서사(敍情敍事)’의 6개 부문에서 작품을 모집했던 1912년의 현상모집을 들 수 있다. 새해에 당선작을 발표하지는 않았지만, 신춘문예의 요건을 대부분 가지고 있기 때문이다. 신인 선발제도로서 신춘문예 명칭이 최초로 사용된 것은 1919년 12월 2일의 『매일신보』 현상모집이었다. ‘신춘’이라는 용어는 새해라는 의미와 희망적인 의미를 가지고 있었는데, 새해부터 5월까지 사용되었다. 이후 1925년에『동아일보』가, 1927년에『조선일보』가 신춘문예 명칭을 사용하면서 신춘문예 용어는 보편화되었으며, 몇 번의 변화를 겪다가 점차 정립되었다. 우리나라의 신춘문예가 성립 초기에 일본 제도의 영향을 받았다는 설이 있었으나 구체적으로 언급된 바는 없었다. 일본에서는 1900년대 초기에 신문사 중심의 현상문예가 이루어지고 있었고, 1945년 이전에는 46개 신문사에서 신춘문예를 시행하고 있었다. 『매일신보』 가 신춘문예의 역사에서 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있고, 내선일체를 강조하는 친일신문이었다는 점에서 일본 영향설은 설득력이 있다. 등단제도로서의 일본 신춘문예와 우리나라의 신춘문예를 비교분석하는 일이 과제로 남아 있다. As annual spring literary contest, Sinchunmunye debut is a typical course in Korea. This thesis is how the name was established in Sinchunmunye and trace the origin of this system. Sinchunmunye was conducted in the early to state that identity is not clearly defined. By the time 1925 was established as a specific system. Name of Sinchunmunye is necessary that came home changed variously, in order to determine the scope of the study is first defined. In this thesis, it was defined as “the purpose of the new writers starting many sectors of newspaper literary events conducted each year”. It is the first time you use this name as a writer selection system December 2, 1919 Maeilsinbo prize literlature. The term “New Year” can find its traces, etc. Goryeosa, Taejongsillok, Sunjosillok, had a sense of meaning and hope the New Year at the same time. The name was used mainly from the New Year until May. Dongailbo 1925 was used in the Sinchunmunye name, after years Chosunilbo 1927 with the name Sinchunmunye undergo a term was common, few changes were gradually established. In previous studies of Sinnyeonmunye years Maeilsinbo 1915 became the center of this it is the opinion of a Sinchunmunye origin. The tradition of the winning entry announced on January 1 were derived, where recruitment was the work of 10 sectors, because there was a specific contribution regulations. However, according to the definition presented earlier Sinchunmunye prize literature is the recruitment of 1912. The event was organized a work in "bizarre rumors, a popular song , funny, poem, short story, essay. Although not announced the winning entry in the new year, because they had the condition of Sinchunmunye. It is the task of the future to compare the Sinchunmunye of Korea and Japan.
