정지궤도 위성과 지구국간 광통신을 대기상태와 앙각의 함수로써 해석할 수 있는 한모델(Han's model)을 제시하였다. 한모델에서는 대기상태를 맑은날, 구름낀 날, 안개, 헤이즈, 비, 눈의 여섯가지 전형적인 상태로 구분한다. 비트오류을 $10^{-7}$을 만족하는 데이터 전송속도를 한모델을 이용하여 상향링크와 하향링크에 대해 해석하였다. 상향링크시의 포인팅손실이 하향링크시의 대기에 의한 공간 가간섭 저하보다 크기 때문에 데이터 전송속도는 하향링크 보다 오히려 상향링크시에 제한됨을 알 수 있었다. Han's model, which is able to analyze optical communication between earth station and geo-satellite as a function of atmospheric conditions and elevation angles. is presented. In Han's model, atmospheric conditions are roughly classified into six basic types; clear sky, cloud, haze, fog, rain and snow. Data rate satisfying for the BER below $10^{-7}$ is analyzed by Han's model in case of up-link and down-link, respectively. Data rate is more limited by up-link than by down-link because the pointing loss caused by atmosphere on the up-link is greater than the spatial coherence degradation caused by atmosphere on the down-link.

Vehicle Monitoring System which can efficiently control and manage the resources like vehicles, cargos and services is required in many transportation related areas like ITS /IVHS. GPS or DGPS is widely used in determining the vehicle location in service. DGPS can glove more accurate position than GPS, but it needs an additional wireless communication link for DGPS correction reception from the DGPS reference station. But, in some applications lire tall or truck monitoring system, the user doesn't need to know the his accurate position. The DGPS correction can be performed in the monitoring station based on the informations from the GPS receiver in the user vehicle and then the monitor station can locate vehicle position accurately like conventional DGPS. For this case an additional communication link for DGPS RTCM is not necessary. This method is called inverted DGPS. In this paper we develop an IDGPS system algorithm and implement it using wireless data modem network and digital map. Test results show its effectiveness. 유압 인버터 엘리베이터에서의 극저속 속도제어를 위한 퍼지논리 제어기의 설계

In this paper, a fuzzy logic controller is designed for speed control of a hydraulic inverter elevator. Mathematical modeling of an elevator actuated with hydraulic system is presented and the friction characteristics of a cylinder is examined, which may cause the abrupt increase of the acceleration in the zero-crossing speed region. Simulation results show that the proposed fuzzy logic speed controller yields a better control performance than conventional PID controller.

The purpose of this study attempted to have empirical analysis on financial performance of our listed enterprises on the basis of comparison between it financial status before and after M&A from 1986 to 1995 were organized as at) test group and another group of 24 enterprises were made into a control group and by means of paired sample difference in average between t재 groups during the period of 2 years before the M&A and 2 years thereafter was computed and then net M&A effect was produced by deducting difference in average between the test group and control group and resulting figures were subjected to test and Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. As a resulted of this study it could be discovered that enterprises in Korea which underwent M&A did not show significant difference in any financial performance after M&A but only showed significant difference financial performance after M&A but only showed significant difference in performance in market value ratio and earning ratio for stocks (PER). Also based on M&A types any significant improvement in financial performance appeared more frequently with conglomerate M&A than with non-conglomerate case solely in quick ratio and net sales growth ratio but there was no significant difference in performance in terms of financial ratio. From this study it was possible to confirm that there was no significant difference in financial performance through M&A of our enterprises but some difference in stock earning ratio (PER) thus showing that our enterprises which went through M&A rae receiving positive appraisal from our capital market. And it was also discovered that while there was no significant difference in financial performance when analysis on the basis of M&A types but some significant financial performance in terms of quick ratio net sales growth ratio in conglomerate M&A.

The objective of this research is to investigate the electromagnetic interference(EMl) shielding characteristics of aluminium sandwich panel. We fabricated aluminium sandwich panel with core material Ni-Cu fabrics. The measurements of shielding effectiveness(SE) were carried out frequency range 300MHz -1 GHz for commercial purposes such as electric or telecommunication devices. The return loss and loss due to absorption were also measured as a function of frequency in the microwave(300MHz-1GHz) region. It is observed that the SE of the composites is the frequency dependent, increases with the increases in filler loading. The Ni-Cu fabrics core material showed higher SE compared to that of AI. The aluminium sandwich panel was shown to exhibit up to 40dB of SE.The results indicate that the composite having higher filler loading can be used for the purpose of EMI shielding as well as for some microwave applications.

Many causes of rhabdomyolysis have been reported in the literature. Technetium-99m methylene dipho-sphonate (Tc-99m MDP) bone scintigraphy is considered to be the most sensitive and effective modality in defining the extents of disease involvement and follow-up of patients with rhabdomyolysis. In this paper, we reviewed two cases of generalized rhabdomyolysis related to seizure activities and two cases of localized rhabdomyolysis related to an excessive exercise. In addition other causes of rhabdomyolysis and possible mechanisrns of Tc-99m MDP uptake are discussed briefly.
