        The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics, change in physique and physical function of college students majoring physical education and Taekwondo (454 males and 64 females of age groups ranging from 18 to 26). The results are as following: 1. The male group of 23yrs old in physical education showed highest values in 7 items(Weight, Chest Girth, Fore Arm Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth, Scapular Skinfold Thickness and Suprailiac Skinfold Thickness). 2. In the Physical function, the male group of 18yrs old showed highest values in Power, Flexibility, and then 21yrs old at Back Strength, Vital Capacity, and 23yrs old at Grip Strength, and 25yrs old at Blood Pressure, respectively. 3. In the physique, the male group of 22yrs old showed highest values in Weight, Chest Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth, and then 24yrs old Upper Arm Girth, Fore Arm Girth, and 19yrs old at Height, Upper Limb Length, respectively. 4. In Physical Function, the 22yrs old showed highest values in Back Strength, Vital Capacity, and then 23yrs old at Side Step, Trunk Extension, but 18yrs old showed lower Values in Grip Strength, Side Step, Vital Capacity and Blood Pressure. 5. The female group of 22yrs old showed highest values in 8 items(Height, Sitting Height, Waist Girth, Upper Limb Length, Lower Limb Length, Skinfold Thickness), and then 18yrs old at 5 items (Weight, Upper Arm Girth, Fore Arm Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth), respectively. 6. In the physical function, the 22yrs old showed highest Values in Grip strength, Back Strength, Power, 5 Minute Run, and 18yrs old at flexibility, Harvard Step Test, respectively. 7. In the change of the physique for two years(1988-1989) in the male group, majoring Physical education the 22yrs old showed increase in 4 items, and the 20yrs old in 3 items, but 18yrs old showed decrease in 3 items. 8. In the change of the physical function for two years in the male group, the 20yrs old showed increase in 4 items, and the 21, 25, 26yrs old in 3 items, but the 19yrs old showed decrease in 6 items, and 18, 22 yrs old in 5 items, respectively. 9. The change of the physique for two years in all female group, of 18, 19, 20, 21yrs old showed increase in 11 items except Skinfold Thickness. 10. In the change of physical function for two years in female group, the 18yrs old showed increase in 3 items, and then 20yrs old in 5 items, but 19, 22yrs old decreased 12 items, respectively. 11. The highest significant difference in physique between male and female was found in weight(mean Value 17.5%), and the lowest difference was found Thigh Girth, Calf Girth(1,3%), Upper Limb Length, Lower Limb Length(2.5%). 12. The Highest difference in physical function was Strength (mean Value 40%), Vital Capacity (33%), Power(22%), but Lower Trunk Flexion, Foot Balance(3.4%). 13. In the difference of Physique and physical function between physical education major and taekwondo major, the physical education showed higher values in skinfold Thickines (mean Value 16.5%), Weight, Waist Girth(4.7%) and Strength(33%), Endurance(5.6%), but subjects majoring Taekwondo showed higher values in Flexibility and Foot Balance. 14. In all male groups, Waist Girth, Scapular Skinfold Thickness, Back Strength, Sargent Jump, Trunk Extension and Diastolic Blood Pressure were showed a significantly related at 0.001 level.

      • ESO 기법을 이용한 외팔보의 신뢰성 기반 위상최적설계

        This paper presents a Reliability-Based Topology Optimization (RBTO) using the Evolutionary Structural Optimization (ESO). An actual design involves uncertain conditions such as material property, operational load and dimensional variation. The Deterministic Topology Optimization (DTO) is obtained without considering of uncertainties related to the uncertainty parameters. However, the RBTO can consider the uncertainty variables because it has the probabilistic constraints, In order to determine whether the probabilistic constraint is satisfied or not, simulation techniques and approximation methods are developed, In this paper, the reliability index approach (RIA) is adopted to evaluate the probabilistic constraint, In order to apply the ESO method to the RBTO, a sensitivity number is defined as the change in the reliability index due to the removal of ith element. Numerical examples are presented to compare the DTO with the RBTO.

      • 냉각탑용 프로펠러 팬의 설계

        냉각탑에 쓰이는 프로펠러 팬의 설계와 개발은 선행 수치해석과 풍동에 의한 실험적 확인으로 이루어졌다. 팬의 날개 형상에서 가장 중요한 것은 공기 역학적 현상의 최적 설계이다. 본 연구에서의 수치해석 방법은 FINE/TURBO라는 상용 프로그램을 이용하여 날개 근처의 자세한 유선과 유량 등의 공학적 자료를 얻었다. 전산 해석 연구에서 얻어진 수치 해석의 결과는 풍동을 이용한 실험 결과와의 비교에서 우수한 정확도를 보여 주었다. 또한, 새로이 제안한 날개의 수치 해석결과 현재 시장에서 판매하고 있는 모델보다 상대적으로 우수한 결과가 도출되었다. Design and developments of a propeller fan for a cooling tower have been accomplished by both numerical prediction of performance and experimental validation with a wind tunnel. Main interest lies on blade geometry of a fan for optimal design of aerodynamic performance. A commercial program, Fine/Turbo used for the present numerical estimation, which gives us engineering information such as flow details near the blades and flow rate of the system. The numerical results are compared with experimental output and show good agreement in comparison between the two data. Also, new proposed model of a blade show improved performance relative to present model in the market.

      • CoMFA 법을 이용한 3-아릴이소퀴놀린 화합물들의 SK-OV-3 암세포에 대한 가상의 약물 작용 수용체 해석

        We have performed a 3D-QSAR/ CoMFA analysis of the cytotoxiv activities of thirty-five 3-arylisoquinoline derivative against SK-OV-3 tumor cell line. The results suggested that the electrostatic, steric and hydrophobic factors of 3-arylisoquinoline were strongly correlated with the antitumor activity. Considerable predictive ability (cross-validated r2 as high as 0.841) was obtained through CoMFA.

      • 경호무도로서 태권도 품새 기법에 따른 활용방안 모색

        이 연구는 태권도 품새의 구성원리에 대하여 고찰하고 기본동작과 유급자 품새인 태극 품새․유단자 품새를 분석하여 경호기법으로 활용하기에 적합한지를 알아보고 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 이는 태권도 품새의 기술이 경호기법으로의 활용도에 대하여 고찰하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 태권도의 품새 기술에서 경호기법으로의 나란히서기, 모서기, 오른서기, 왼서기가 경호기법으로 힘의 안배와 경호 대상자를 보호하는 데 효과적임을 발견하였다. 둘째, 위해자의 공격을 대응하는 자세로 주춤서기와 모주춤서기, 앞주춤서기와 앞굽이가 위해자의 중심을 무너트리기에 효과적이며 제압을 하기에 적합한 것을 발견하였다. 셋째, 위해자의 공격을 차단 후 반격을 하기에는 “ㅗ“자서기와 범서기가 중심이동이 용이하고 민첩성을 발휘하기에 매우 적합하며 방어와 공격 등 위해자의 예측하기 어려운 돌발 상황에 빠르게 대처할 수 있음을 발견하였다. 넷째, 태권도 품새 수련이 가상의 상대를 놓고 혼자서 앞, 뒤, 좌, 우에서 오는 공격을 효과적으로 방어하고 공격하는 공방의 원리를 습득하기에 효과적이며 경호원이 언제 어디서든지 수련하기에 용이한 경호무도로서의 활용과 수련도의 가치를 발견하였다.

        다양한 비스테로이드성 소염진통제의 쥐 피부 투과

        Rat skin permeation of various nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) was investigated in vitro using Franz diffusion cell at 37℃. The effect of various skin permeation enhancers was also observed as a preliminary study of developing transdermal delivery systems of NSAIDs. Lipophilicity of NSAIDs was determined from the partition coefficient (log P) in 1-octanol/water and 1-octanol/IPB mutual-saturated solutions. The solubility was determined in water, isotonic phosphate buffer (IPB), and propylene glycol (PG) at 37℃. The rat skin permeation rate of acetaminophen, piroxicam, and aceclofenac was almost negligible, although they were saturated in PG. Addition of 1 % permeation enhancer increased the permeation rate of ketoprofen, ketorolac, and diclofenac. However, the skin permeation rate of ibuprofen did not increase with the addition of various enhancers. Among the permeation enhancers tested, oleic acid was the most effective for various NSAIDs. Based on the daily dose, lipophilicity, and the skin permeation rate achieved in this study, ketoprofen and ketorolac seem to be the most promising drug candidates for transdermal delivery systems, especially when formulated with unsaturated fatty acids, such as oleic acid.

      • 여과포를 이용한 오일성분이 함유된 먼지제거에 관한 연구

        In this study, there were analyzed and evaluated the characteristics of dust cake formed in the surface of fabric filter, pressure drop on aggregated dust over the surface of filter, and passing rate of dust on pressure drop by using discontinuous filtration system. Incinerated dust of waste synthetic fiber which is more difficult for removal was used as a model dust to test removal performance of fabric filter. MLT-FRP fabric filter which were manufactured by W Co Ltd. and other commercialized filter were used and there were measured the pressure drop and passing through rate of dust on the standard operation conditions of input dust concentration 1.0 g/S㎥, and inflow velocity 3.0m/min. In the comparison of performance between commercialized filter and prepared filter for research (MLT-FRF),there is no difference of removal efficiency, and increasing tendency of pressure drop results in cake formed increase gradually until amounts of dust leaded get up to 120g/㎡ in case of prepared filter for research, on the other side, it is increased rapidly after cumulative amounts of dust loaded on the surface get to 10g/㎡ in case of commercialized filter. The time to get to critical pressure drop for discharging accumulated cake took in 41min on the prepared filter for research and in 20min on the commercialized filter, and that is two times faster than this case of prepared filter for research.

However, RBTO involves evaluation of probabilistic constraints, which can be done in two different ways, the reliability index approach (RIA) and the performance measure approach (PMA). Limit state function is approximated using Monte Carlo Simulation and Central Composite Design for reliability analysis. ESO, one of the topology optimization techniques, is adopted for topology optimization. Numerical examples are presented to compare the DTO with RBTO.

      • Si 기판 위에 CeO_2 유전체 박막 성장

        CeO_2 single target을 사용하여 on-axis rf magnetron 스퍼터링 방법으로 Si(100) 단결정기판 위에 CeO_2 유전체 박막을 성장시킬 때 기판온도, 산소 부분압력, rf input power, 두께 등의 성장변수들이 박막 성장에 미치는 영향을 조사하여 (ℓ00) 방향 in-situ 성장의 적정조건을 찾는 연구를 하였다. 각기 다른 조건에서 제조된 박막의 X-ray 회절 방법에 의한 구조 분석과 SEM(Scanning Electron Microscopy)에 의한 표면의 미세 구조 분석을 통하여 그 특성을 조사한 결과 기판 온도, 산소 부분압력, rf input power 세기, 박막의 두께가 박막 성장에 결정적인 영향을 미치는 중요 성장 변수임을 확인하였다. CeO_2 박막은 target과 기판사이 거리 50㎜, 총압력 30mTorr일 때 기판 온도 800℃, 산소 부분압력 3 mTon, power 90 W(이때 성장속도 0.83Å/s), 성장시간 2시간(이때 두께 500Å)일 때(ℓ00) 방향으로 잘 성장되는 것을 발견하였다. We have studied systematically the optimum condition for in-situ perparation of CeO_2 thin film on Si(100 substrate by single-target rf-magnetron sputtering method. We examined effects of the substrate temperature, oxygen partial pressure, rf input power, and thickness by studying X-ray diffraction patterns and photographs of scanning electron microscopy of the grown films. We found that all of these parameters influence decisively on the struture of the grown films. We also found that the CeO_2 thin film grows well at∼800℃ of the substrate temperature, 3 mTorr of the oxygen partial pressure, 90 W of the rf input power(corresponding to 0.83Å/s of the deposition rate), and 5000 Å of the thickness for the total sputtering gas of 30 mTorr and the sputtering target of 2 inch diameter used.

        저작근 골막하 박리를 이용한 만성 재발성 탈구의 치험례

        Chronic recurrent dislocation(CRD) of the jaw has various etilogical causes, including trauma, congenital or acquired neurological illness, ingestion of certain medicines, incorrdination of the neuromuscular astivity of the chewing muscles, articular anatomical alteration, etc. Various surgical methods have been advocated for the treatment of the CRD. They may be divided into two groups: procedures designed to limit translation of the condyle and procedures eliminating obstacles in the condylar path. Hypomobility of mandible can be developed after BSSRO and it is probably caused by scar contracture, atrophy, and myofibrosis. Many authors, therefore, emphasized the importance of physical therapy especially after BSSRO to prevent the complication. Based on that idea, we designed more conservative surgical method to limit mandibular openning compared the methods that previously introduced and tried to treat the CRD. This new method consists of extensive subperiosteal dissection of masseter and the temporalis muscle under local anesthesia and use of intermaxillary elastics for some periods.
