        Keystone Error Analysis of Projection Optics in a Maskless Lithography System

        In this paper we address keystone error, a significant parameter when diagnosing the misalignment of projection optics in masklesslithography systems. Tilting of either the object or image planes of an optical system results in keystone error. In this experiment, wemeasure the position of a 15×15 beam spot array with an accuracy of 100 nm. We numerically fit the measured position of the beamspot array into a theoretical model to determine the keystone error of the projection optics in a maskless lithography system. Usingthis method, we align the optical system to minimize the keystone error to 0.01% with a 1.5×1.5 mm2 square object. We also analyzethe influence of the keystone error on the stitch error.

        Prediction of Energy Consumption According to Physical Activity Intensity in Daily Life using Accelerometer

        This research aims to accurately predict energy consumption according to physical activity intensity in daily life using an accelerometer. To derive a simple but accurate equation for prediction of correlations between acceleration information and energy consumption according to physical activity intensity, the following practices have been undertaken in this research. First, an experiment has been conducted with accelerometers attached at the waist and wrist. Second, 13 motions in daily life with different physical activity intensities were performed. The experiment was conducted on 20 healthy persons using a respiratory gas analyzer for measurement of actual energy consumption. As a predictive model for energy consumption, a multiple regression equation was developed using accelerometer data and physical information about the subjects. For comparison between single accelerometer attached at the waist and two accelerometers attached at the wrist and waist, the correlation between actual energy consumption and accelerometer output for the former was 0.911 and that for the latter was 0.914, which is not significantly different. This result implied that one accelerometer attached at the waist is practically efficient in terms of prediction of energy consumption. As a result of comparison between a single regression equation without motion classification and several regression equations with inclusive motion classification, it was found that several regression equations showed smaller errors (0.64 vs 0.18). Thus for accurate and practical prediction of energy consumption, it is recommended to use several regression equations with inclusive motion classification and single accelerometer attached at the waist.

        Two New Species of the Halichondriidae (Demospongiae: Halichondrida) from Korea

        Two new marine species of the family Halichondriidae,Ciocalypta sasuensis n. sp. and Epipolasis maraensis n.sp., are collected from Chujado Island and Jejudo Island,Korea during 2000-2005. Ciocalypta sasuensis n. sp. isclosely related to C. penicillus (Bowerbank, 1864) in the typeof shape and ectosomal skeleton. However, C. sasuensis n.sp. is larger than Ciocalypta penicillus. Epipolasis maraensisn. sp. is similar to E. suluensis (Wilson, 1925) in the type ofskeleton, but is diferent in size of spicule and growth form.Its oxeas and raphide are smaler than E. suluensis’s. Thegrowth form of this new species is semispherical andmassive, but E. suluensis is lamellated.

        Two New Sponges of the Genus Halichondria (Halichondrida: Halichondriidae) from Korea

        Two new marine sponges in the family Halichondriidae,Halichondria gageoenesis n. sp. and Halichondria muanensisn. sp. are collected from Gageodo Island and Yongjeong-ri,Hyeongyeong-myeon, Muan-gun, Korea during 2006-2007.H. gageoenesis n. sp. is similar to H. oshoro (Tanita, 1961)in type of spicule, but is diferent from the latter in growthform and size of spicule. The oxea of the new species islarger than H. oshoro H. gageoenesisn. sp. is thick and consists of encrusting with numerouserect hollow cylindrical tubes, but H. oshoro is of massiveform. H. muanensis n. sp is similar to H. retiderma (Dendy,1921) in type of spicule and choanosomal skeleton, but it isdiferent from the later in growth form and size of spicule.The oxea is smaller than that of H. retiderma. The growthhollow cylindrical tubes, compared with the massive loboseof H. retiderma.

        We, human beings, learn ceaselessly from brith to death, so learning can be said to be the most fundamental phenomenon in our life. Accordingly, learning involves change in human behavior, and so studies of learning are indispensable to understanding, controlling, predicting human behavior. When we examine learning theories that try to explain systematically the learning phenomenon of man, we must analyze and evaluate them from a motor learning view point. Modern theories of learning(stimulus-response connection theory and cognitive theory) do not examine correctly and synthetically the natural structure of man, and have great problems arising from trying to apply general rules from experimental animal research to human learning. Although man has attributes of the animal dimension, in order to make a complete theory of learning, we must make but also must exmine the total structure of man as a physical being, and on this basis attempt to explain the phenomenon of learning and construct a learning theory. 1) S-R Connection theory and Cognitive theory are based on the pseudo-scientific assumption that there is an unbroken, evolutionary progression from animal to man, and therefore there is the great problem of trying to apply the phenomenon of the learning of animals to motor learning. 2) S-R connection theory and Cognitive theory are ignorant of learner's sex, growth, development, difference, cognitive etc. 3) S-R connection theory and cognitive theory are not explained the phenomenon of the motor learning in one theory. 4) S-R connection theory: was regard instinctive behavior of animal as a motor learning. 5) S-R connection theory was ignorant of learner's meaning, understanding (cognitive factor) 6) S-R connection theory was ignorant of a form(stimulus and response).

        A New Species of the Genus Ophlitaspongia(Poecilosclerida: Microcionidae) from Korea

        A new marine sponge in the family Microcionidae, Ophlitaspongia yongjeongenesisn. sp. is collected fromYongjeong-ri, Hyeongyeong-myeon, Muan-gun, Korea during 2005-2007. O. yongjeongenesisn. sp. is closelyO. reticulatain growth form (shape and color). However, the thick style and slender style of O.yongjeongenesisn. sp. are larger than O. reticulata’s(Bergquist and Fromont, 1988).

        A New Record of Genus Higginsia (Poecilosclerida: Desmoxyidae) from Korea

        A taxonomic study on the marine sponges was conducted with materials which were collected from HongdoIsland, Korea by SCUBA diving in September 2004. Among them, Higginsia mixtaHentschel, 1912 is newlyrecorded in the Korean fauna.

        Highly transparent Zn1-xMgxO/ITO multilayer for window of thin film solar cells

        Texture-etched Zn1-xMgxO films were fabricated and applied as front transparent electrodes for superstrate type thin film solar cells. The Zn0.65Mg0.35O film (x = 0.35) showed optical transparency better than commercially available Asahi VU and double-textured ZnO (WT-ZnO) substrates. To provide pertinent conductivity, ITO film was coated on the texture-etched Zn0.65Mg0.35O. By employing the Zn0.65Mg0.35O/ITO substrate instead of the SnO2, we demonstrated an enhancement of quantum efficiency for amorphous silicon thin film solar cell devices, resulted in efficiency improvement from 8.92 to 9.56%. We also examined effectiveness of the Zn0.65Mg0.35O/ITO substrate for the microcrystalline silicon solar cells which delivered an efficiency of 9.73% with proper anti-reflection coating. Our experimental results suggest that the Zn0.65Mg0.35O/ITO multilayer front contact can be beneficial for reinforcing performances of silicon-based thin film solar cell devices.
