        Knowledge is composed through the interaction between the concept structure already held by students and their experience, and learning can be said to be the active process of solving the cognitive conflict caused by this interaction. Therefore, this study consists in showing the effective learning method and finding out the elements which the teacher has to own, through examining several forms of pre-conception or mis-conception of the inertia, the force-equilibrium, the action and reaction, the heat, and the electric current, and then finding out their solution and studying student's change in science concepts. For this study, the types of concept on the five above-mentioned materials which students have were examined through the concept-classifying question paper, and the classes to which the class mode for the change of concepts applied, were practised in each different classroom by each different instructor - a professor, a scientist, a teacher, and two students, respectively. And the effect of the teaching strategy based on these classes, and each different instructor' influence on the change of concept in students, were examined. The result of my study is as follows; 1. Students have various types of pre-conception which are different from science concept, and these types of pre-conception tend to last even after learning in class. 2. The thoughts on the correct science concept of the high school third-grade students who learned the physics in the traditional teaching method, and the second grade students who don't learn the physics yet, were nearly equal those of the second grade students by receiving the physics class through the cognitive conflict course were greatly changed especially that students showed the distinct change on mechanics and electric current. 3. Students didn't show the remarkable change of the science concept on the five materials in the four kinds of experimental classes by each different instructor but in the part of mechanics, there was the distinct change between the class by professor and those by the students. This was due to the difference of the authority and the attitude of the concept demonstrator. 1) The authority, the kind attitude, and the responsibility of the expert played an important role in the correct concept-formation of mechanics part - especially in the case of the mis-conception caused by the intuitive belief. 2) In the class by instructor with the democratic teaching method, the change of concept took place more easily, because in his class students could discuss the subject freely, so that they might experience the thought course to give them the confidence on the science concept.

      • 實驗大學 實施에 따른 師範大學 學生實態 (Ⅱ)

        The purposes of this study were (1) to reexamine what were found by the survey on KNU Teachers College Students after the Pilot School Project (Ⅰ) in order to assess the possibility of .generalizing results of the survey across different groups of students who enter Teachers College after the Pilot School Project was implemented, (2) and to examine students' opinion toward the current procedures of assingning freshemen to departments or majors of the Teachers College. The subjects were freshmen of KNU Teachers' College from 1975 to 1777 academic year. However, the data pertaining to the students from 1975 to 1976 had been gathered while the survey on Teachers College Students after the Pilot School (Ⅰ) was being carried out. In order to collect the data with regard to the students entered the Teachers College in 1977, four different questionnaives were employed. The data were statistically tested by means of chi-technique only when it seemed necessary and appropriate. Major findings of this study are as following: (1) After the Pilot School Project was employed, there were general tendency in students' reason applying for admission to KNU Teachers College: Each academic year, approximately 40% of freshmen decided to enter the college to be secondary school teachers in the future. (2) Students' attitude toward the new procedures of screening college applicants, which was employed after the Pilot School Project, were negative in general. Furthermore, their negative attitude became stronger year by year. (3) The degree of students' satisfaction with their majors were relatively higher than that expressed by the students who entered the college before the Pilot School Project was employed. (4) Both students' criteria for selecting their majors and then reasons for changing their majors which they had been interested in applying were varied across time subjects and time. (5) The obtained contingency coefficient between departments and GPA students of each department earned during thir freshmen year was 0.831. It seems to indicate that majority of freshment tends to choose their majors according to their GPA rather than their interest or aptitude. (6) Approximately 67.73% of freshmen of the 1977 academic year accepted the end of the academic year as the most appropriate time for assigning them to departments they desire to enter. 7) Approximately 52.10% of freshment supported the idea of assigningas many students to the departments as they wish to enter, as far as it is possible, by adjusting the capacity of department, which is regulated by MOE. (8) Approximately 61.08% of freshmen claimed not to deduct their GPA when their first choice of department became impossible and turned down to the second or the third one.

        光穀生産에 있어서 灌漑用水의 限界便益·費用分析

        Rice cultivation is not only the main resource of farm income and staple food but also the root of cultural life of Korean people. Korean government has carried out irrigation water development with heavy investment to cope with water shortage in rice farming as a link of the five years economic development plans. In spite of the continuous accomplishment of irrigation water development the marginal benefits - costs of irrigation water has not been studied. Owing to the government full support for the operation and maintenance of irrigation facilities, price of irrigation water as a membership fee could not be formed as the municipal and industrial water prices. Accordingly this study is aimed at identifying firstly the marginal benefits - cost of irrigation water, secondly deriving the macro-econometrics models as supply and demand functions of irrigation water and thirdly examining the marginal benefits - cost ratio. The trends of supply and demand prices of irrigation water were estimated annually. Considering the marginal benefits - cost ratio as 1.3, it was identified that additional irrigation water development projects still have an economic feasibility under the present economic situation in Korea.

      • Quad-tree구조를 이용한 계층적 회로 추출 알고리즘

        본 논문에서는 VLSI의 마스크 도면정보로부터 회로도를 효율적으로 추출하기 위한 계층적 회로추출 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 마스크 레이아웃데이타는 CIF형태의 요소로 구성하며 이들 각 요소를 quad-tree형태로 보관함으로서, 회로 탐색 시간 및 기억공간을 감소시켰다. 본 알고리즘은 CIF입력부 quad-tree생성부, 트랜지스터 검증부 및 연결 리스트 생성부 등으로 구별되며 출력을 그래픽 형태로 표시할 수 있게 하였다. 본 회로 추출기는 회로의 계층적 구조를 그대로 유지하면서 트랜지스터의 위치 및 연결도를 중복없이 정확히 검증할 수 있으며, 이로 부터 회로도를 추출할 수 있다. A hierachical circuit extract algorithm, which efficiently extract circuits from VLSI mask pattern information, is programmed. Quad-tree is used as a datastructure which includes various CIF circuit elements and instances. This system is composed of CIF input routine, quad-tree making routine, transistor finding routine and connection list making routine. This circuit extractor can extract circuit with hierarchical structure of circuit.

        터키안와 및 상부 종양의 임상적 고찰

        Tumorous lesion of intra- and suprasellar area showed unique clinical pictures and also was very hazardous and difficult to remove surgically because of the surrounding important anatomical structures. Here, authors analyzed 28 confirmed tumor of this area during last two and half years retrospctively. Histopathologically, 28 cases were classified in 14 pituitary adenoma cased6 cases of non-functioning adenoma, 1 GH-secreting adenoma and 7 cases of prolactinoma), 7 craniopharyngioma cases, 3 meninigioma cases and each one case of germinoma, Rathke's cleft cyst, pituitary abscess and hamartoma. Sexual incidence was 6 : 22 in male vs female ratio. Twenty two cases were measured its diameter over 2cm and they extended to suprasellar area in all cases. Five cases of microadenoma were analyzed and they were all enclosed in sella turcica. Visual impairment was the most frequent and prominent clinical symptom. of which incidence was 78.57% (22 cases). The next frequent symptoms were headache and generalized lethargy. Diabetes insipidus was a presenting symptom in 4 cases and hydrocephalus was noted in 4 cases preoperatively. Surgical intervention was carried out in 23 cases, by the way, the performed type of surgery in 21 cases was a conventional transcranial frontotemporal(pterional) microsurgical method. Post-operatively, diabetes insipidus was complicated in 78.26 % and pituitary hypofunction was noted 34.78%. Two cases of intracranial hemorrhage was developed after surgery and one was died. Through 6 to 28 months follow up. 82.1 % of cases were improved in its clinical status including 7 cured cases.

        TPM 우수기업을 위한 KS A ISO 2859-1과 KS A 3109와의 비교 분석

        The growing importance of the product quality of the manufacturing industry is becoming more and more apparent as we enter the end of faster and deeper globalization trend. At the same time, among the various factors affecting the quality of the product, the importance of the production equipment is ever increasing. As a result, the TPM activity in Korean industries is getting increasing recognition and is being implemented with faster phase than ever. The companies with superior product quality are heavily involved with TPM activities and the product qualities of these companies are definitely better than the others. When we distinguish the product quality process into 3 steps, i.e. quality secure-quality confirm-quality guarantee, of course the 1st step of secure is the most important, but also the 2nd step of onfirm is one of the most important step. As well in mass production environment, sampling inspection is more desirable than the 100 % inspection procedure. As a part of globalization trend, KS system is also being revised and reestablished based on ISO, IEC, etc. *which are based on international standard. Conventional KS sampling inspection standards were in many areas quite different from ISO sampling inspection standards, only KS A 3102, 3104, 3151 are left and the rest be-come obsolete, and even the ones that are still around are planned to the gone step by step. It has been already 3 years since the new KS A ISO 2859-0--3 sampling inspection process has been established which the abolition of the popular KS A 3101, KS A 3105, KS A 3109, yet the implementation rate is very slow. This study will attempt to compare the old KS A 3109 with new KS A ISO 2859-0~3, and try to understand the difference as that the new standard can be easily understood and used widely among companies, by using examples. Our attempt is to help implement with the companies with active TPM involvement but the final result can be spread among other companies as well in the near future.

        Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose 분진의 습도와 온도에 대한 영향성 연구

        This study was performed with Hartmann type dust explosion apparatus and Godbert-Greenwald furnace apparatus in order to research the effect of temperature and humidity affecting LEL, minimum ignition temperature of Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose. The experimental determinations in the range between 20℃ and 60℃ of temperature was not affected LEL(180g/m³) but LEL showed 200g/m³ and 250g/m³ at 80℃ and 100℃. As the change of humidity LEL was 180g/m³ for 50%, 200g/m³ for 60% and 250g/m³ for 70% but dust explosion didn't occur over 80%, The ignition temperature of HPMC dust clouds was increased as increasing of humidity. So, the minimum ignition temperatures at 50%, 60%, 70%, 80% of humidity was 363℃, 375℃, 397℃, 405℃.

        경지정리사업의 확장편익-비용분석 : 충남서산시 지곡지구를 중심으로 With Respect to Jigok Land Consolidation and On-farm Development Project in Seosan, Chungnam Province, Korea

        The economic feasibility analysis including benefit-cost ratio and internal rate of return of a land consolidation and on-farm development project was mainly depended upon the direct benefits and costs arising during project life. Therefore th projects were neglected in allocating the government's financial funds and loans on account of the low economic rate of return of the project. Accordingly the extended benefit - cost analysis method should be introduced and adapted to cover not only the benefits such as non-market values of environmental and food security functions of the project but also market values of the project outputs. The main purposes of this study are (1) to prepare a guideline for economic feasibility analysis based on the IBRD and ADB guidelines, (2) to estimate the benefits from productivity increase, labor saving, savings of O&M cost of farm mechanization and project facilities, savings of farmer's burden for their public health, increasing environmental and public functional value of paddy fields, improving food security condition and formation of peaceful and uncontroversial rural society by implementing the land consolidation and on-farm development, (3) to introduce the newly adapted analytical method as the extended benefit cost analysis which could make possible to be included the values of non-market goods such as the food security and the environmental public function of paddy fields. To carry out this study, the existing publications on the guidelines for economic analysis of agricultural projects were reviewed and consultation was made with a hydrologist. For the post evaluation studdy of the land consolidation and on-farm development project, field survey in Jigok and other comparative area were made to get available information. According to the project completion report, Jigok land consolidation and on-farm development project has 55㏊ of benefit area out of 69㏊ of gross area. The project was started in November 11th, 2000 and completed october 30th, 2001. The total project costs were amounted to 2,548 million won and the annual project benefits were estimated at 335million won evaluated by domestic market prices. The ERR(Economic Rate of Return) and SRR(Social Rate of Return) of the project based on the shadow pricing system were estimated at 4.4% and 16% respectively. On the other hand, the ERR and SRR based on the domestic market value system were amounted to 6.37% and 14,62%. In conclusion, Korean land consolidation and on-farm development projects have not carried out from the view point of economic rate of return under shadow pricing system but from the view pont of domestic pricing system. For the future feasibility studies on land consolidation project have to be carried out including the non-market values as environmental and food security function of the projects.
