For the evaluation of oncogenesis, progression and prognosis of cancer, CGH is an important technique, because this technique is economic due to utilization of only one probe and lack of culture, screening mathod of whole genome and possibility of retrospective and prospective study. By the CGH, genornic variation of 20 breast cancer tissues, 23 stomach cancer tissues and 16 bladder cancer tissues were analyzed. The results were as followes ; 1. breast cancers The CGH results showed gains on chromosomes 8q(40%), lq(30%), 17q(15%), 20q(15%), 18q (15%), 5p(15%), and 13q(15%). The Deletions were on chromosomes 17p(45%) and 22q(20%). High-level amplifications(green/red ratio >1.5) were noted on chromosomes 1p31, iq, 3q25-qter, 5p, 7q31-qter, 8q, 9q22-qter, 10p, l1p, 11q22-qter, 12p, 12q24, 14g21-qter, 15q23-qter, 17q, 18p, 18q12-qter, 20p, and 20q. By comparison with infiltrating ductal carcinoma, the two medullary carcinomas showed high-level amplification on chromosomes iq3l, lq, 8q, 10p, 11p and 12p. 2. stomach cancers 1) Usual amplification sites of genome were lq, 13q, 17q, 20p,q. 2) 17p was the most common deletion site. The other sites of the deletion were lq, 4q. 3) In intestinal type of stomach cancer, genomic variation is more common than diffuse type. 4) In the cases of no evidence of lymph node metastasis, deletion of 17p is absent but amplification of 8q is obvious in the case of lymph node metastasis. 3. bladder cancers Common amplification of copy numbers of DNA sequences by CGH were seen at 1q, 3q, 4q, 5p, 6pq, 7p, 8q, 11q, 12q, 13q, 17q, 18q and 20pq(more than 20% of cases). High level amplification was noted at 1p32, 3p2l, 3q24, 4q26, 8q21-ter, 11q14-22, 12q15-21, 12q21-24, 13q 21-31, 17q22, and 18q22. Deletions were noted at 2q21-qter, 4q13-23, 5q, 8p12-22, 9pq, 11p13-15 (more than 20% of cases).
The Chirality Conversion Reagent for Amino Acids Based on Salicyl Aldehyde

2-Hydroxy-6-(1-(3-phenylurylphenyl)ethoxy)-benzaldehyde ($\mathbf{2}$) has been synthesized in racemic form from 1,3-Dihydroxybenzene via formylation and reaction with 3-phenyluryl-methylbenzylbromide. The optically pure form of $\mathbf{2}$ was separated by normal silica column chromatography from the imine diastreomer which was obtained by the reaction of racemic mixture of $\mathbf{2}$ with optically pure leucinol. The absolute configuration of the separated enantiomer of $\mathbf{2}$ was decided from the energy calculation of the corresponding imine diastereomers. The activity of $\mathbf{2}$ as a chirality conversion reagent (CCR) for amino acids was determined by $^1H$ NMR analysis. The efficiency of $\mathbf{2}$ is not better than the previous CCRs based on binaththol. Compound $\mathbf{2}$, however, has lower molecular weight compared to other CCRs. This work demonstrates that asymmetric carbon can control the selectivity of amino acids.

We report here the outcome of Korean children with HLH who underwent HSCT, which was analyzed from the data of a nation-wide HLH registry. Retrospective nation-wide data recruitment for the pediatric HLH patients diagnosed between 1996 and 2008 was carried out by the Histiocytosis Working Party of the Korean Society of Hematology. Nineteen patients who received HSCT among the total of 148 enrolled children with HLH were analyzed for the transplant-related variables and events. The probability of five-yr survival after HSCT was 73.3% with a median follow-up of 57. Two months compared to 54.3% for the patients who were treated with chemoimmunotherapy only (p<I> </I>=<I> </I>0.05). The reasons for HSCT were active disease after eight wk of initial treatment (n = 9), relapsed disease (n = 5), and FHL (n = 5). Fourteen patients are currently alive without disease after HSCT, four patients died of treatment-related events (infection in two and graft failure in two) at early post-transplant period, and one patient died of relapse at one yr post transplantation. The survival of patients who were transplanted because of active disease after eight wk of initial treatment was worse compared to those patients who had inactive state at that time (60.6% vs. 100%, respectively, p<I> </I>=<I> </I>0.06). Of the four patients who received transplants using cord blood, three died of graft failure (n = 2) and relapse (n = 1). The five-yr probability of survival after HSCT according to the donor type was 85.7% for the MRDs (n = 6), 87.5% for the MUDs (n = 8), and 40% for the MMUDs (n = 5) (p<I> </I>=<I> </I>0.03). Other variables such as age, CNS involvement at the time of diagnosis, the etiology of HLH (familial or secondary), and the conditioning regimens had no influence on the five-yr OS of the HLH patients who underwent HSCT. HSCT improved the survival of the patients who had familial, relapsed, or severe and persistent SHLH in the Korean nation-wide HLH registry. Although numbers were small, these results are similar to other reports in the literature. The disease state after initial treatment, the stem cell source of the transplant, and the donor type were the important prognostic factors that affected the OS of the HLH patients who underwent HSCT.</P>

<P>Neoplasms and tumorlike lesions that originate from chest wall tissues are uncommon compared with tumors in other parts of the body, and unfamiliarity with these disease entities can cause diagnostic difficulties for radiologists. Furthermore, the imaging features of many of these tumors are nonspecific, particularly those that are locally aggressive. However, a systematic approach based on patient age, clinical history, lesion location, and characteristic imaging findings often helps limit the differential diagnosis. Primary chest wall tumors can be classified as bone or soft-tissue tumors, with the latter being further classified into adipocytic tumors, vascular tumors, peripheral nerve sheath tumors, cutaneous lesions, fibroblastic-myofibroblastic tumors, and so-called fibrohistiocytic tumors, largely based on the 2002 World Health Organization classification. Within each category, it is possible to further limit the differential diagnosis with cross-sectional imaging. Information on specific features (eg, mineralization, fibrosis, hemosiderin deposits) and imaging patterns (eg, the 'target sign' and 'fascicular sign' seen in neurogenic tumors) can aid in making the diagnosis. Radiologists can achieve a sufficiently specific diagnosis of bone tumors and soft-tissue tumors if typical findings are present. © RSNA, 2011.</P>

Novel electroluminescent polymers, poly[N-(3,4-bis(decyloxy)phenyl)carbazolyl-2,7-vinylene)] (PCzV) and poly[N-(3,4-bis(decyloxy)phenyl)carbazolyl-2,7-vinylene)-co-{2-methoxy-5-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene}] (PCzV-co-MEH-PPV), which is a series of fully conjugated poly(N-dialkoxyphenylcarbazolyl-2,7-vinylene) derivatives with meta- and para-decyloxy phenyl moieties as a pendant group, were synthesized using the Gilch polymerization method. The resulting polymers were highly soluble in common organic solvents and could be easily spin-coated onto an indium-tin oxide coated glass substrate to obtain high quality optical thin films. The weight-average molecular weight ($M_w$) and polydispersity of PCzV and PCzV-co-MEH-PPV were $3.86{\times}10^4$ and 1.60 and $7.99{\times}10^4$ and 2.05, respectively. Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) were fabricated with the following structures: ITO/PEDOT:PSS/emitting polymer/cathode configurations using either double-layer Ba/Al or triplelayer tris(8-hydroxyquinolinato)aluminum ($Alq_3$)/LiF/Al cathode structures. The maximum brightness and current efficiency were $5,965\;cd/m^2$ and 0.43 cd/A at 10 V.
Asymptotic Consistency of Least Squares Estimators in Fuzzy Regression Model

This paper deals with the properties of the fuzzy least squares estimators for fuzzy linear regression model. Especially fuzzy triangular input-output model including error term is proposed. The error term is considered as a fuzzy random variable. The asymptotic unbiasedness and the consistency of the estimators are proved using a suitable metric.
Separate Fuzzy Regression with Crisp Input and Fuzzy Output

The aim of this paper is to deal with a method to construct a separate fuzzy regression model with crisp input and fuzzy output data using a best response function for the center and the width of the predicted output. Also we introduce the crisp mean and variance of the predicted fuzzy value and also give some examples to compare a performance of the proposed fuzzy model with various other fuzzy regression model.
