        화학적심제 dikegulac의 처리시기와 농도가 Rhododendron simsii ‘California Sunset’ 삽목묘의 분지 및 생육에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 화학적심제 dikegulac의 처리시기와 농도 가 Rhododendron simsii ‘California Sunset’의 분지 및 생육에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 수행하였다. 6월에 dikegulac의 처리는 8월에 처리한것 보다 식물의 정아 발달을 지연시켰으나, 잎의 크기와 엽록소의 함량 및 분지수를 증가 시켰다. 특히, 1,500 mg·L-1의 처리가 가장 우수하였다. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of treatment time and concentration of a chemical pinching agent, dikegulac, on branches and growth of Rhododendron simsii ‘California Sunset’. R. simsii ‘California Sunset’ developed lateral branches naturally but the number of them was few. Treatment of dikegulac delayed the terminal bud development, increased in size, the chlorophyll contents of the leaf, and the number of lateral branches in June. Especially, the number of lateral branches were better at 1,500 mg·L-1 dikegulac than the others. But growth in August of R. simsii ‘California Sunset’ was naturally lower than June, there was no effect of lateral branches by dikegulac.

        메타바나듐산암모늄과 양이온교환막을 활용한 바나듐 레독스 흐름전지에 관한 연구

        메타바나듐산 암모늄으로 제조한 전해액과 양이온교환막인 Nafion117을 활용하는 바나듐 레독스 흐름 전지(vanadium redox flow battery, VRFB)의 전기화학적 성능을 평가하였다. VRFB의 전기화학적 성능은 전류밀도 60 mA/cm<sup>2</sup>에서 측정하였다. 메타바나듐산 암모늄으로 제조된 전해액을 사용한 VRFB의 평균 전류효율은 94.9%, 평균 전압효율은 82.2%, 평균 에너지효율은 78.0%를 보였다. 그리고 메타바나듐산 암모늄으로 제조된 전해액을 사용한 VRFB의 각 효율은 바나딜 설페이트(VOSO<sub>4</sub>)로 제조된 전해액을 사용한 VRFB의 각 효율과 비교하여 거의 동등한 값을 갖는다는 것을 확인하였다. The electrochemical performance of all vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) using an electrolyte prepared from ammonium metavanadate and a cation exchange membrane (Nafion117) was evaluated. The electrochemical performance of VRFB was measured at a current density of 60 mA/cm<sup>2</sup>. The average current efficiency of VRFB using the electrolyte prepared from ammonium metavanadate was 94.9%, the average voltage efficiency was 82.2%, and the average energy efficiency was 78.0%. In addition, it was confirmed that the efficiencies of VRFB using the electrolyte prepared from ammonium metavanadate had almost the same value as the efficiencies of VRFB using the electrolyte prepared with vanadyl sulfate (VOSO<sub>4</sub>).

        식육알레르기 발생 경향 및 잠재적 우육알레르겐에 관한 연구

        The prevalence of food allergies was investigated using questionnaires with 300 subjects whose ages ranged from 19 to 24 years old and the causative food allergens was analyzed using immunological analysis with serum of the subjects who answered that they have/had food allergy. The questionnaire showed that 11.33% of subjects have/had experience of food hypersensitivity, where the main causative foods were fish, beef, chicken, milk, egg, and pork in order. The meat allergy shared 4.65% (2.33% for beef, 1.66% for chicken, 0.66% for pork) in the prevalence of food allergies. The causative beef allergens were investigated with the serum of 6 subjects who have had beef allergy. Western blots were carried out with the serum of P6 subject who showed a positive reaction to beef extract in ELISA. The two specific bands were detected in beef extract on the PVDF membrane, and no band was detected in extracts of pork and chicken. A calculation of the distance of migration by SDS-PAGE enabled the molecular masses of the two bands to be estimated as 67kDa and 31kDa, respectively. The 67kDa was revealed as bovine serum albumin (BSA) which is one of the important beef allergens as reported previously though an analysis of the N-terminal amino acid sequence. However we could not identify the sequence of 31kDa, probably because they comprised several subunits and were modified proteins such as glycoprotein that were unlikely to be easily degraded by the Edman method. The 31kDa band were dyed with the PAS (periodic acid-schiff reagent), suggesting that it might be a glycoprotein. These results suggested that the 31kDa might be considered as a novel potential beef allergen which is not reported previously, although further studies are needed.

      • 전립선 이행대용적 및 이행대지수와 전립선비대증 임상척도와의 상관관계

        Objective : The relationships among the total prostatic volume. transition zone(TZ) volume, and TZ index and clinical parameters (age, symptom score and peak urinary fow) were evaluated after medical treatment for 6 months in men with benign pros??atic hyperplasia(BPH). Materials and Methods : Thirty-three patients(mean age 65 years) with lower urinary tract symptoms participated in this study. All of them completed the International Frostate Symptom Score(IPSS) questionnaire, uroflowmetry and measurement of total prostate volume and TZ volume by transrectal ultrasonography. The pairwise relationships among the parameters were evaluated before and after medical treatment for 6 months. Results : The pairwise relationships between total prostate volume, TZ volume, and TZ index and age, IPSS, and peak urinary flow were not statistically significant. After 6 months of the α-blocker and finasteride therapy, total prostate volumes decreased by 16.8%, TZ volumes 14.7%, peak urinary flows increased by 3.0㏄/sec and IPSS decreased by 0.6 points. Only the increase of peak urinary flow was correlated significantly with initial total prostate volume, TZ volume and TZ index. This significant relationship was observed more particularly among men with TZ index 0.6 or more. Conclusion : Total prostate volume, TZ volume and TZ index are not related to patient's age, IPSS and peak urinary flow significantly. Increase of peak urinary flow alone was correlated significantly with initial total prostate volume, TZ volume and TZ index after 6 months of medical treatment. This findings suggest that it is likely to show improvement in peak urinary flow after medical treatment in BPH men particularly with TZ index 0.6 or more.

      • Photothermal Effect of Black Phosphorous Nanosheets under NIR Excitation

        Black Phosphorus is an inorganic two-dimensional material whose high carrier mobility is promising for application in electronics. However, recent studies has developed biomedical use of black phosphorus by means of its high photothermal conversion property under near infrared (NIR) range excitation. Furthermore, black phosphorus oxidizes rapidly when contacted with oxygen and decomposes by water. Black Phosphorus degrades to non-toxic phosphate, phosphite, and other PxOy in the aqueous solution. This is an attractive property when low toxicity is the priority of nanomaterials in biomedicine. Here, we conducted experiment on black phosphorus exposed to 808 nm laser to confirm its photothermal effect and biodegradability. Photothermal effect of black phosphorous with different concentration and biodegradability of black phosphorous in different solvents were measured.

        고Mn강과 저탄소강의 CO2 레이저 이종용접 특성

        High Mn steel has been developed for automotive applications since the steel has an excellent combination of strength and ductility. However, from the viewpoint of welding, high Mn steel has a few problems related to its chemical composition. This paper describes characteristics of dissimilar CO2 laser welding for expanding application of high Mn steel. From this work it was cleared that dissimilar laser welded joint between high Mn steel and carbon steel had poor formability due to the formation of martensite within weld metal. In order to improve ductility of welded joint, the method of controlling the dilution ratio of high Mn steel was suggested.

        가다랭이 안와조직으로부터 DHA 의 추출 및 정제

        가다랭이 안와油로부터 docosahexaenoic acid(DHA)를 정제하기 위해 기존의 방법들을 적용하여 비교 검토하고, DHA의 효과적인 정제를 위해 조작방법을 개량하였다. 가다랭이 안와조직의 총지질은 55.4%였으며, 이 중 DHA는 23.7%였다. 저온분별결정법과 요소결정법을 적용한 결과 순도에서 각각 약 46% 및 61%의 DHA가 얻어졌다. 이들 방법들은 순도면에서는 다소 떨어지나 정제조작이 단순하여 다량의 DHA 분리에 적합하였다. 질산은 수용액법은 상기 2가지 방법에 비하여 순도면에서는 약간 개선되었으나, 회수율이 대단히 낮았다(10% 이하). 질산은 함침 실리카 칼럼 크로마토그래피법은 고순도 DHA의 정제방법으로써 적합하였다(순도 98% 이상, 회수율 90% 이상). 결과적으로 저온분별결정법과 질산은 함침 실리카 칼럼 크로마토그래피법을 조합한 개량법(2단계 정제법)이 가다랭이 안와油로부터 고순도 DHA(99.9%)의 정제를 위한 가장 효과적인 방법으로 평가되었다. Several methods were examined for purification of docosahexaenoic acid(DHA, 22:6n-3) from skipjack Euthynnus pelamis orbital tissue oil, a marine by-product, and a modified method for isolation of a high purity DHA was proposed. Skipjack orbital tissue contained 55.4 of total lipid(TL), and DHA accounted for 23.7% of the TL. Application of low-temperature crystallization and urea inclusion compound methods to the orbital fatty acid mixture resulted in increases of DHA concentrations to approximately 46% and 61% , respectively. These methods were suitable for large production of DHA with relative low purity because of the simple purification procedure. DHA of approximately 74% in purity was obtained by silver nitrate aqueous solution method, but the method gave a very low recovery($lt;10%). Silver nitrate-impregnated silica column chromatography was suitable for purification of a high purity DHA(purity, $gt;98% and recovery, $gt;90% ). A modified method, silver nitrate-impregnated silica column chromatography combined with low-temperature crystallization(two step purication method) was proposed as the most effective method to obtain DHA with high purity(99.9%) from the skipjack orbital oil.
