      • Palmes Tube를 이용한 지역별 NO₂농도와 직종별 NO₂개인 폭로량에 관한 연구

        Indoor air quality is important to human wellbeing because people their spend much of time indoors. Current efforts to reduce ventilation rates in building may conserve energy but may also passibly empair human health and welfare through increased levels of indoor contaminants. Nitrogn dioxide( NO₂)has been regarded as one of the important indoor air pollutants. This report updates the assessment of NO₂concentrations at indoor & vehicle road and personal NO₂exposure levels by job groups in four urban cities. NO₂concentrations were measured using the diffusion tube method on 671 subjects in four cities(Pusan, Taegu, Chinju. Iri) from Dec. 1988 to Feb, 1989 and from Dec. 1989 to Feb. 1990. The results of the study obtained were as follows. Ⅰ. Indoor & vehicle road NO₂levels 1. The mean NO₂level was 37.8±19.6(8∼189)ppb and the highest with 42.2±20.5ppb at Bus & Taxi. 2. The NO₂levels by area were as follows: Pusan city, 38.3±20.3ppb: Taegu city, 41.1±17.6ppb: Chinju city, 33.0±19.4ppb: Iri city, 35.8±20.6ppb. 3. The site of the highest NO₂level in Pusan, Taegu, Chinju and Iri city were as follows: Bus & Taxi, 45.4ppb: Vehicle road, 50.8ppb: Bus & Taxi, 37.5ppb: Bus & Taxi. 45.0ppb. Ⅱ. Personal NO₂exposure level 1. The mean level of personal NO₂exposure was 42.7 ±23.1(6∼145)ppb and the highest with 54.0±25.5ppb at office workers. 2. Personal NO₂exposure levels by area were as follows: Pusan city 44.8±20.2ppb: Taegu city, 50.6±24.3ppb: Chinju city, 47.1±23.2ppb: Iri city, 48.0±27.0ppb. 3. The job group of the highest personal NO₂exposure level in Pusan, Taegu, Chinju and Iri city were as follows: Office workers, 50.3ppb: Bus & Taxi drivers, 63.8ppb: Office workers, 59.8ppb: Office workers, 60.0ppb.

      • 다층구조를 갖는 다공질규소층의 제작과 이의 물성

        단결정규소 웨이퍼를 15% HF에탄올 용액에서 양극 산화시켜 다공질규소를 얻는 과정에서 전류밀도와 에칭시간에 따라 굴절률이 주기적으로 변하는 다충의 다공질규소층(porous silicon multilayers)을 구현하였다. 그리고 다층의 다공질규소층(Ⅰ) 다공질규소 발광충, 또 다른 다층의 다공질규소층(Ⅱ)의 순으로 구성된 porous silicon microcavity(PSM)를 제작하고 그 물성을 조사하였다. PSM 상하에 위치한 다층의 다공질규소층의 단면을 AFM(Atomic Force Microscope)으로 조사한 결과 고굴절률과 저굴절률이 주기적으로 교차하는 층이 균일하게 형성되었으며, 중앙의 다공질규소 발광층도 균일하게 나타났다. 다층의 다공질규소층 및 다공질규소 발광층의 두께를 각각 실호파장의 1/4배 및 2배가 되도록 하였을 때 특정파장의 필터로 쓰일 수 있는 브래그 반사경(Brag reflector)의 특성이 나타났다. 또한 PSM의 발광 스펙트럼은 그 반치폭이 현저히 감소하고 발광의 세기가 크게 증가되는 경향을 보였다. By periodically varying the current density and etching time during anodic oxidation of crystalline silicon wafers in 15% HF-ethanol solution, we obtained porous silicon multilayers which have periodically varying refractive index. We fabricated the porous silicon microcavity (PSM) which consist of porous silicon multilayers(Ⅰ), active layer of porous silicon, and porous silicon multilayers(Ⅱ) and investigated its physical properties. The AFM (Atomic Force Microscope) measurement from the cross section of multilayers (Ⅰ and Ⅱ) shows uniformity of high refractive index and low index layers as well as the active layer. We observed the characteristics of Bragg reflector when the thickness of layers was 1/4 and the thickness of active layer was twice of the effective wavelength, which can be used as a filter for specific wavelength. We found the emission characteristic from the PSM, which FWHM (full width half maximum) was considerably decreased and emission intensity was increased.

        The manufacture of edible/biodegradable films or coatings can potentially add value to soy protein, Such films can find using as edible or nonedible food packaging materials. The effect of soy protein film-forming solutions on film formation, tensile properties of soy protein/pectin blend films were changed significantly by the amount of glycerol and the ratio of soy protein/pectin. Moreover mechanical properties of soy protein/pectin-montmorillonite clay have been studied. Tensile strength and modulus decreases as the relative humidity increased while with increasing relative humidity elongation at break increased.

      • 해방 이전 근대스포츠의 도입 및 수용

        This study is a comprehensive survey of the introduction, adoption, and diffusion of modem sports that had their origins in the West. Supporting data were collected and arranged according to the following categories, and based on this, the introduction, adoption, and diffusion of western sport in Korea was subjected to a structural analysis. 1) Introduction : This includes the first instances of the appearance(both individual and group) of each sport, the first known instances of competitions, relative time of introduction of each sport, and changes over time, and changes in different sport areas. 2) Adoption: This is based on a re-organization of the 552 recorded completions between 1910 and 1940 as found in the book 70 Years of History of the Korea Sports council published by the Korea Sports Council in 1990. The main findings of this study are as follows: 1) Introduction: Analysis of introduction of western sports by time period showed that before 1900, that is before the Japanese annexation of Korea, football(soccer), cycling, tennis, gymnastics, track and field, equestrian, swimming, shooting, and baseball were introduced.. Within the sphere of activities of such organizations as the Hwangseong Christian Youth Association boxing, volleyball, rowing, table tennis, rugby, and weight lifting were introduced after 1910. Introduction was brought about through foreign missions, Korean diplomats, and educational programs. 2) Adoption (1) During the initial period during which sport was putting down roots in Korea(1910-1919) at least one or two sporting events were held per year consisting of track and field, baseball, and tennis. (2) During the growth period(1920-1927), as competitions became yearly events, the number of competitions increased steadily from 4 in 1920 to 20 in 1927. Events were held in baseball, track and field, tennis, and football(soccer) and teams and clubs were formed. Beginning with the Chosun Sports Council governing bodies were established for the various sports. (3) During the settlement period(l928-1937), particularly during 1928 and 1929, the number of sports being competed greatly increased by 10-14 events and the number of events also increased to between 30 and 40 showing that the sport situation was starting to stabilize. The type of hosting bodies for sports events also diversified and increased.. (4) After 1938 there was a decline in the number of events being hosted and in the number of sports being competed. This was a result of the effects of the Pacific war on all aspects of social development.

      • 클라이언트/서버 환경에서 트랜잭션 흐름 제어를 고려한 최적 서버 할당 알고리즘

        This paper describes an optimal static server allocation algorithm with transaction flow control using mean value analysis in multiprocessing based client/server environment. We present an analytical methodology for the analysis and performance evolution of server allocation algorithm. Using mean value analysis, performance are obtained. It is the throughput, end-to-end delay time, a multiprocessor utilization and system power. The goal in this paper is to determine the optimal parameter value such as the number of transaction and server instantiation in the system, which affect the configuration of the critical hardware resource.

      • 생쥐의 骨髓細胞에 대한 Aminopterin 과 Amethopterin의 細胞遺傳學的 影響

        Aminopterin and amethopterin(Methotrexate; MTX) are antifolic drugs and anti-tumour agents, which inhibit DNA biosynthesis, were previously known to have mutagenic effects on various mammalian cells. Mutagenecity and toxicity of these agents have been determined by various methods. In the present study, effects of two anti-tumour agents on cultured mouse bone marrow cells were analyzed by observing chromosome aberrations and mitotic index. The results of the present investigation were as follows; 1. The chromosome aberrations analyzed were mainly chromosome gaps and breaks, chromatid gaps and breaks. In the Group-1 (treated for 8 hours), chromosome aberrations were not shown and it seems that mutagenic actions of anti-tumour agents were not aroused due to the short period of culture and the other culture conditions. However, in the Group-2 (treated for 24 hours), as the concentrations of antifolic compounds were increased, chromosome aberrations were increased. 2. In mitotic index, the Group-I treated with aminopterin and amethopterin showed marked inhibition in the mitotic index(O. 6% in aminopterin, 0.9% in amethopterin) at the high concentrations, compared with that of control (5. 2%). Both aminopterin and amethopterin showed a dose-dependent reduction of mitotic index. In the Group-2, each group treated with two antifolic compounds showed no marked differences in the mitotic index. compared with that of control. 3. Aminopterin was a more potent agent for induction of chromosome aberration than amethopterin.

      • Isoproterenol이 마우스 심근조직에 미치는 영향

        For the study, forty-six normal adult ICR mice were sacrificed. Extraction of the hearts was performed under ether anesthesia after two consecutive subcutaneous injections of isoproterenol hydrochloride (1-/3', 4'-dihydroxyphenyl/-2-isopropylaminoethanol HCI). The administered doses of isoproterenol to each group of the mice were 20mg, 35mg, 50mg, 80mg, 100mg, 150mg, and 200mg per kilogram of body weight respectively, After extraction, the wet weight of each of the hearts was measured. Five μm-thick paraffin sections of the heart tissue fixed with alcohol-formalin were stained with hematoxylin and eosin for routine study, with van Gieson's method for collagen, and with von Kossa's method for histochemical study of calcium salt. Stained sections were examined under light microscope. The results were as follows: 1. All of the mice treated with isoproterenol showed myocardial necrosis-like lesions. These lesions spread from subendocardial area to entire myocardium in accordance with the increase of dose of isoproterenol and the prevalence rate of myocardial necrosis by isoproterenol administration was higher in the left ventricle than in the right ventricle. 2. The most typical histopathologic findings of myocardial necrosis were observed in the mice treated with 80mg of isoproterenol per kilogram of body weight. 3. The mice treated with 100mg, 150mg, and 200mg of isoproterenol per kilogram of body weight showed the death rate of 50%, 83%, and 100% respectively after the first administration. 4. All of the mice treated with isoproterenol showed calcium deposits in the myocardium. 5. The ratio of the wet weight of heart to the body weight increased in the mice treated with isoproterenol in comparison with the control mice.

      • 가시발새우 껍질에서 제조한 키틴 키토산의 물리화학적 특성

        가시발새우 껍질을 부가가치가 높은 자원으로 활용하기 위하여, 이들로부터 키틴과 키토산을 제조하여 물리화학적 특성을 살펴 보았다. 가시발새우 껍질에서 추출한 키틴의 일반성분은 질소 6.84%, 지방 0.57%, 회분 0.32%였으며, 수율은 15.7%였다. 키토산은 질소함량이 7.52%였으며 지방과 회분함량은 각각 0.13%와 0.33%였다. 그리고 탈아세틸화도는 67.5%, 분자량은 9.1×10 exp (5)이었으며 수율은 75%를 나타내었다. 키틴 및 키토산의 잔류 아미노산은 각각 2.64㎎/g과 1.39㎎/g 검출되었고, 그 중 lysine이 가장 높게 나타났다. 한편 키틴과 키토산의 IR 스펙트럼과 고체상태 ^(13)C-NMR 스펙트럼 data는 분자구조를 확인하는데 도움이 되었다. The physicochemical properties of chitin and chitosan produced from lobster shrimp (Metanephrups thomosonii) shell were investigated. Lobster shrimp chitin contained 6.84% nitrogen, 0.57% fat and 0.32% ash, while chitosan contained 7.52% nitrogen, 0.13% fat and 0.33% ash. Degree of deacetylation and molecular weight of chitosan were 67.5% and 9.1×105, respectively. Yields of chitin from the shell portion and chitosan from the chitin were 15.7% and 75%, respectively. Chitin and chitosan contained 2.64 and 1.39㎎/g of residual amino acids, respectively, with both the most predominant being lysine. Chemical structures of the lobster shrimp chitin and chitosan have been investigated by the IR and solid state ^(13)C-NMR spectra.

      • RT-LAMP를 이용한 콩황화일반모자이크바이러스의 진단

        Soybean yellow common mosaic virus (SYCMV) has been recently reported, it has been occurred a lot with Soybean mosaic virus (SMV) and Soybean yellow mottle mosaic virus (SYMMV) in soybean field. SYCMV belongs to genus of Sobemovirus and induced viral symptoms with yellowing, mottle and mosaic. A reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) method allowed one-step detection of gene amplification by simple procedure and needed only a simple incubator for isothermal template. This RT-LAMP method allowed direct detection of RNA from virus-infected plants without thermal cycling and gel electrophoresis. In this study, we designed RT-LAMP primers named SYCML-F3/B3/FIP/BIP from coat protein gene sequence of SYCMV. After the reaction of RTLAMP, products were identified by electrophoresis and with the detective fluorescent dye, SYBR Green I. under daylight and UV light. Optimal reaction condition was at 63 for 60min and the primers of RTLAMP showed the specificity for only SYCMV tested in this study.
