검도수련의 본질에 관한 연구

This researcher began to study from grasping status quo of Kumdo and the worry of pointing out the present problems in the Kumdo world, developed philosophical discussion through idealogy and value of Kumdo, and tried philosophical approach through nature and technical system of Kumdo practice. The practice process of character forming in Kumdo can be said to arrive at the Bo(way:道) of self-perfection by accepting the learning of human relations and behavioral patterns in practical categories and based upon the self-discipline that governs the original nature of mankind by fundamental character formation, thus harmonizing each other. On the other hand, since religious rites and philosophical elements depend upon overall thinking by insight rather than scientific verification that it may confront a limit in the objective aspects, and it would be difficult to understand Kumdo which consists basically of the oriental thought if we discuss its truth and falseness of philosophical nature of Kumdo by scientific and logical experimental verification. Therefore, Hwarangdo(花郞徒) spirit should become the true background for the direction of Kumdo in our country and for Kumdo to be rightfully carried out it is necessary to reexamine closely how it harmonizes spritual side as a moral sport, and in terms of the fact that Hwarangdo(花郞徒), which would be our traditional thought was a practical trial that seeked virtue of the body in the complex meaning that included but not separated spritual discipline and enhancement of character through physical training with the body and spirit as being one body and indivisible, thus in the modern meaning , the Kumdo practice in our country its philosophical base shroud be fulfilled based on physical throught begun from the thought of refined taste, and a practice system that pursue human image of which aim reaches the cultivation of physical, itellectual and spritual sides. In the future Kumdo in our country should be developed as an education that fosters strong body and character as a peaceful responsibility of mankind in the future for the purpese of developing sound body and spirit and fostering democratic character through harmonious and independent learning of Kumdo as a sport and an art and as an inheritance which have existed long time, in the future the objective oriented idealogy and nature of Kumdo shall not be rejected, and deep review and direction of improvement concerning modern Kumdo should be studied.

This study is intended to approach the artistic system of Sparring arroung it s artistic facts. To find out the connection between the Taekwondo Sparring and aesthetic facts, I studie Sparring's aesthetic facts in space, art and drama. Taekwondo is the activity to concerte the desire of body and mind based on the protective instinct. Sparring is the activity to attack and defend oneself using hand and feet. It needs momentary technique according to opponent's acting. Psychological warfare with opponent, strategy, technique are needed in space and aesthetic characteristic is realized when the technique is carried out in this restricted space. The end of sparring is the expression of aesthetic and it has the ability to overcame unexpected situation effectively by using various technique and proper method. It also has dramatic fact due to being limited to time. It is three-game contest and each game takes three minutes, and so player had better not to finish the game in on early state but to penetrate the opponent. Therefore even though there are great differences in score, Sparring has dramatic fact to reversed.

This study examines mostly problems of Korean media coverages on various suicide cases which sometimes caused severe social side-effects of illegally insulted the family of the deceased by their improper approach to the tragic incidents. The research analyses several types of media coverages of suicide cases, which have given serious illegal or psychological damage to the family of the deceased. They are 1) illegal public release of the one’s identity who suicided, 2) too detailed description of the way of suiciding, 3) illegal public release of the family of the suicided 4) beautify or idealize some suicide cases 5) speculative reports on the suicided etc. Other factors giving impacts on the media coverage such as high competitiveness resulting from the increasing number of internet media and developing media environment and technology also have been included. As a conclusion, ways and means of editing regulations of media law, press arbitration committee and code of ethics has been discussed. Media users' smart role for the better coverage on the issues has been stressed.

韓國 拳鬪에 나타난 本質的 意味

The purpose of this study is to serve as a philosophical basis for Korean boxing discipline, by examining what problems there have been in the history of Korean boxing, be defining the ideology, value and technical system of boxing discipline, and by looking into the essential meaning of Korean boxing on two philosophical sides: one is partial art characteristics in view of discipline, and the other is sports characteristics in view of game. Second, boxing contains two-sided properties: Martial Art art and Sports. The Martial Art property serves to prevent boxing from losing its substantial goal. Under this asssumption, the first boxing generation tried to inspire patriotic spirit and thought into boxing. The sports property can be said as a training to make preparations for good health, true life and social activities in modem society where is characterized by a stones of severe struggles. These properties might be given different weight according to one's subjective idea in attaining the goal of boxing. But boxing can be of use to liberalizing human's potential function, and one can learn its technical system and get more advanced value from it. Third, modem man is able to successfully compete in modem society only when he has a sound mental power, physical strength, endurance, presence of mind, and will power. Boxing is required to offer both physical and mental education through physical activities, and this will be a way for boxing to hand down Korean boxing philosophy and maintain its goal that is apt to be lost. In the future, Korean boxing should provide discipline, under the harmony of Martial Art property with Sports feature, to pursue the sound physical and mental development and cultivate democratic nature. It should work as educational activities to build up strong body and personality in order to fulfull its obligation for the peace of mankind. Its target-oriented ideology and substance shall not be neglected, and a deeper Martial Art property of Korean style should be implanted in boxing.
