신고리 지역 기상관측을 통한 계절별 대기안정도 특성분석

In this study, we analyzed the characteristics of atmospheric stability to investigate local environment change at an atomic power plant in Gori region. The used data was obtained from field observation of major meteorological variables such as wind direction and speed, air temperature, relative humidity, and solar radiation using AWS (Automatic Weather System) in Gori region from February to September in 2003. As a result, when strong northerly winds (more than 4~6 m/s) and weak northwesterly winds (2~3m/s) blow, atmospheric stability was neutral and stable from winter to spring, respectively. Atmospheric stability (neutral) in summer was similar to that in two other seasons (winter and spring), but it was stable for weak southwesterly winds (2~3 m/s). Finally, atmospheric stability was neutral for strong winds (over 4~6 m/s) in fall without respect to wind direction, while that was stable for very weak winds (less than 2 m/s).

It is very important to apply the reasonable insulation method to refrigerated warehouse since temperature difference between storage and outside is so great. However, insulation method for refrigerated warehouse is not expressly provided in the Korean building code and there are few examinations for evaluation of each insulation method. Thus, this study aims to evaluate the economical efficiency of the refrigerated warehouse envelope with different insulation method(inside and outside insulation), temperature condition(0℃, -6℃ and -15℃) and insulation thickness(100㎜, 150㎜ and 200㎜ / 50㎜ or 250㎜). As results, it is proved to have the best economical efficiency when outside insulation method with thickness of 100㎜(0℃ and -6℃) and 150㎜ urethane(-15℃) is applied.

Curtain wall system has been widely applied to the residential unit of high-rise complex building which is the new trend in a recent construction market. It is very important to improve the insulation performance of curtain wall anchoring unit since it is composed of materials with high thermal conductivity, such as aluminium, steel and so on. Thus this study aims to evaluate the heating energy performance and economical efficiency of various alternatives which are different in position and material of insulation. As results, alternative of inserting the urethane washer & pad and coating the anchoring unit with urethane foam can improve the heating energy performance and L.C.C(Life Cycle Cost) by 6.33% and 0.95%, respectively, as compared with the existing case.

In Nd:YAG laser welding, evaluation methods of welding flaw are various. But, the method due to plume shape is difficult to classification of welding flaw. The Nd:YAG laser process it known to have high speed and deep penetration capability to become one of the most advanced welding technologies. At the present time, some methods are studied for measurement of plume shape by using high-speed camera and photo diode. This paper describes the machining characteristics of SM45C carbon steel welding by use of an Nd:YAG laser. In spite of its good mechanical characteristics, SM45C carbon steel has a high carbon contents and suffers a limitation in the industrial application due to the poor welding properties. In this study, plume shape was measured by infrared thermal camera that is non-contact /non-destructive thermal measurement equipment through change of laser generating power, speed, focus. Weld was performed on bead-on method. Measurement results are compared as two equipments. Here, two results are composed of measurement results of plume quantities due to plume shape by infrared thermal camera and inspection results of weld bead include weld flaws by ultrasonic inspector.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of postural control and locomotion on improvement of two point discrimination (TPD), stereognosis (ST) through somatosensory training (SST) on the upper limb (UL). Methods: The subjects were 20 hemiplegia patients who have problems with unilateral neglect after stroke. The patients were divided into two groups, the experimental group (EG) and the control group (CG). In the EG, SST for TPD, ST was performed 18 times, three times a week for six weeks, together with physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT). In the CG conventional PT and OT without SST was performed for six weeks. Several assessment tools were used in comparison of groups; two point discrimination test (TPDT) on forearm (F), thenar (T), hypothenar (TH), thumb tip (TH-T), index finger tip (IN-T), stereognosis test (ST), postural assessment scale for stroke (PASS), and clinical test of sensory interaction on balance (CTSIB) and timed up and go test (TUG). Results: In the CG, conventional PT and OT resulted in statistically improved TPDT (F), ST, PASS, and TUG. In the EG, SST resulted in statistically improved TPDT (F, T, HT, TH-T, IN-T), ST, PASS, and TUG. TPDT-T, ST, and CTSIB with length of displacement with eye open (LDEO) also showed significant improvement between the groups. Conclusion: In both groups TPDT ST, PASS and TUG, and SST had effects on the UL and TPDT, ST and static postural control had greater effects compared with the PG. Therefore, we could assume that TPD and ST are very important in performing human activities including postural control and locomotion.

This paper was intended to explore the characteristics and effects of repetitive transcription magnetic stimulation (rTMS) applied to neuropsychiatric, neurorehabilitation, and cognitive recovery. Although rTMS, applied in neuropsychiatry, reports various results in the type, age and degree of depression, it is not well founded, so research is needed for objective evidence in the future. In neurorehabilitation, various results of rTMS were reported depending on the individual characteristics of the patient, such as location, size, age and gender of the brain-damaged lesion. In particular, objective evidence such as the size, intensity, and frequency of magnetic stimulation is required as proposed as a treatment for the upper extremity, cognitive function, and motor function recovery of stroke patients. rTMS, which is noninvasive and safe, is determined to have a positive effect on the sensory, motor, emotional, cognitive function, and neurological reversibility of patients with brain damage through prior study and is expected to be utilized as a treatment linked to other treatments of drugs, psychotherapy and rehabilitation.

Recently the radiant panel heating and cooling system has been regarded as an alternative of low temperature heating and high temperature cooling by applying the renewable energy sources to the heating and cooling of buildings. Especially this system can be used as HVAC system alternatives in super high-rise buildings for energy saving and thermal comfort. Also it can be possible to reduce the plenum space because the minimum ventilation air will be supplied into the space. In this study, radiant wall panel system sample product is made and applied at 2 Test Cells. In these Test Cells, 2 different system types according to application type is installed each. Installation performance is evaluated on the 2 system types. Also 3D dynamic heat transfer simulation is carried out to evaluate thermal output characteristics.
