The improtance of environmental control system of traditional Korean Architecture which does not destory the ecosystem is growing because environment pollution is getting worse. Especially, the research is necessary about technique of traditional Korean Architecture which induces the natural ventilation through passive approach such as placement and shape of building in summer. Therefore, in this study examine the characteristic of Korean climate and the changes of indoor air-flow in accordance with floor plan of traditional Korean Architecture were analyzed.

The Purpose of this study is to compare between domestic and international codes and its components about architectural environmentalareas and establish contents of Korean Building Code-Environment, Energy saving, Mechanical and Electrical equipment(KBC-EEME),and propose its future directions. First of all, domestic and international codes about architectural environmental areas were comparedand analyzed. Domestic code of architectural environmental areas was enacted by a variety of government ministries while all of theinternational codes investigated in this study were enacted by a single organization. Thus, in this study, all of the Korean codes aboutarchitectural environmental areas were integrated under the KBC-EEME table. Furthermore, some contradicted contents in domestic codewere founded due to many different government ministries, so the necessity of a single organization for domestic code was suggested. Finally, some contents of international codes which were inadequate in domestic code were offered for the future KBC-EEME, and thefuture work for globalization of the KBC-EEME was raised.
LEED Canada 인증사례의 평가항목별 적용도 분석 연구

This paper analyzes the applicability about the environment-friendly planning elements and elemental technology through the case study of the foreign Green certified building. This could grasp the tendency of the environment-friendly elemental technology activated practically and provide base data which contribute to activation of the domestic green building and design engineering improvement. In this research, LEED Canada Green Building Certification is introduced, and for examples of 92 green buildings which are certified by LEED Canada NC 1.0 from 2004 to 2010, we analyzed environment planning elements and the degree of application of Eco-friendly technologies applied to the buildings.

Environmental conferences in international society have held on Rio de Janeiro from UNCED in 1992 upward (United Nations Conference on Environment and Development) for countermeasure of environmental matters. Developed countries like United States, Japan, Canada and British are to take effect building promotion certification criteria what is certification system of environment for promotion in aspects of Green buildings. Purposes of this study are research in standards and status of certification systems which are LEED in USGBC since 1993 in United States, GBCC of KGBC in state-run organization since 2002 and 'Environmental-friendly Building Guidelines' of Seoul to be recently driven. And then, offer proposals of promotion aims for revitalization in GBCC.
보성 강골마을의 친환경건축 계획요소 적용 실태에 관한 연구

The objective of this study is to interpret a environmental-friendly plan factors of Korean traditional settlement used of existing classification system. The existing classification system framework is five environmental ecological ideas as the adaptation to the adaptation to the exterior of village, the eco-space in village, the interior of house, the cycling of material and the reasonable energy system, prevention of environment pollution and reduction of wastes. Additional research was undertaken to verify the findings. Through the interpretation, it has been found out that Gang-gol tradition village has been developed to an environmental ecological rational setting and has the meaningful elements for environmental friendly housing estates.
사무용 건물의 자연채광 도입에 대한 국내ㆍ외 친환경 건축물 인증제도의 비교 분석 연구

The GBCC(Green Building Certification Criteria) system has been in effect since 2001, which has various assessment items according to the classification of building use. Nevertheless, the criteria related with daylighting has not been quantified yet as compared to the other indoor environmental factors in the GBCC, and even the established measure for interior lighting energy saving also have not existed. Therefore, this study is in progress as follows. First, the current state of day lighting-related items in the GBCC was examined. Second, the items were compared with the counterparts in the other foreign systems, such as LEED and CASBEE. Third, in the near future, this study plans to suggest the environmental-friendly certification criteria of daylighting utilization for office buildings.
