Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of practice with visual occlusion on golf putting learning by analyzing how the visual occlusion exercise can improve the golfer’s sense of distance and the putting parameters. Methods: Thirty male college students with no prior golf experience participated in the study and were randomly assigned to either vision, no-vision, or control group. In the pre-test, the subjects performed putting 10 times at each distance of 1, 3, and 5 meters. During the practice intervention, subjects in each group performed 30 putting exercises at the same distance as in the pre-test with group intervention for five days, a total of 450 putting exercises. Results: According to the analysis of the radial error, the no-vision and vision groups showed improved accuracy in the post-test and delayed post-test compared to the pre-test. As for the variable error, the no-vision group showed the same result as that for the radial error, but the vision group showed improvement in consistency only in the post-test compared to the pre-test, which dropped again in the delayed post-test. The distance and putting parameters of the no-vision group changed effectively after the practice intervention. Conclusion: These results suggest that practice with visual occlusion may be an effective intervention method for promoting learning in golf putting.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the functional relationship between cognitive performance and actual performance by analyzing the difference in accuracy and consistency of golf putting according to cognitive ability in working memory. Methods: A total of 20 male college students and 10 female college students, who had never received golf putting training before, participated in the experiment. We first measured the participants’ cognitive performance in working memory for golf putting using a program (MCM; Movement Cognition Measurement) that was developed for the purpose of the study. Based on the measured results, the groups were classified into top 15 participants with high cognitive performance and 15 participants with relatively low cognitive performance. All participants performed 30 putts, 10 times each at distances of 1m, 2m, and 3m, respectively. The measured data were converted into radial and variable error values to analyze the accuracy and consistency of putting performance. In addition, the correlation between the accuracy of cognitive performance and putting performance was analyzed. Results: It was revealed that the group with high cognitive performance in working memory showed significantly higher accuracy and consistency of actual putting performance than the group with low cognitive performance. In addition, there was a significant positive correlation between cognitive performance in working memory and actual putting performance. Conclusion: These results suggest that cognitive performance in working memory can have a positive effect on actual performance, and that as cognitive performance improves, actual performance can also improve. Taken together, the results of this study show that cognitive ability in working memory and actual performance are functionally linked, suggesting that cognitive ability can contribute to the improvement of skill performance.
화학사고 발생 시 피해예측 모델과 연계된 사업장의 실시간 비상대응 체계에 관한 연구

- The recent surge in the production and handling of hazardous materials in Korea necessitates developing and implementing robust emergency response plans. These plans are crucial in safeguarding the well-being of workers and residents in the event of an incident. The consequence analysis methodology outlined in the KOSHA guidelines provides a foundation for designing emergency response plans in the event of chemical accidents. However, the consequence analysis is evaluated based on assumed accident cases or worst-case scenarios. Consequently, the emergency response plan based on the consequence analysis may overestimate the damage area, complicating rescue efforts and unnecessarily increasing costs. More information and parameters become available after an accident, enabling more accurate consequence analysis. This implies that the results of consequence analysis based on this detailed information provide more realistic results than those based on assumed accidents. This study attempts to optimize the resource allocation and cost-effectiveness of emergency response plans for chemical accidents. Existing procedures and manuals are revised to elucidate the proposed model and conduct real-time consequence analysis. The existing emergency response plan is compared to verify the proposed model's efficacy. The obtained results indicate that the proposed model can exhibit better performance.

First described at early 1970's as an angioimmunoblastic lyrnphadenopathy with dysproteinemia(AILD), angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma(AIL-TCL) is a rare disorder and has generalized lyrnphadenopathy, fever, weight loss, skin rash, and polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia. Although initially thought to be an abnormal immune reaction(AILD, or immunoblastic lymphadenopathy), AIL-TCL is now generally accepted as a T-cell lymphoma, because most cases have shown the clonal rearrangements of T-cell receptor genes. We report a case of 74 year old man, who visited Pusan Veterans Hospital with anorexia, fever, generalized edema and cervical lymphadenopathy, and diagnosed as AIL-TCL by neck lymph node biopsy.

본 논문에서는 쌍극성 임펄스형 데이터열을 AWQPSK(Amplitude Weighted QPSK) 신호로 변환하는 변조기를 탄성표면파 소자로 구현하고 그 특성을 측정하였다. 탄성표면파 변조기는 입력 비정규형 IDT와 출력 정규형 IDT로 구성되어 있으며, 중심 주파수 fc는 20MHz, 비트폭은 250nsec 를 갖도록 설계하여 압전물질인 $YZ-LiNbO_3$, substrate 위에 Photolithography방법으로 제작하고 그 특성을 측정하였다. 측정된 중심 주파수와 영점-영점 대역폭은 각각 20MHz와 8.8MHz이고 제 1 side lobe는 -60dB로서 이는 이론치와 거의 일치하는 결과이다. In this work an implementation of SAW based serial type AWQPSK modulator is studied. The SAW AWQPSK modulator consisting of input apodized IDT and output uniform IDT with center frequency of 20 MHz and bit rate of 4MHz has been designed and fabricated on $YZ-LiNbO_3$ substrate. Measured center frequency and null-to-null bandwidth are 20MHz, respectively. The sidelobe suppression is achieved 60dB below the peak mainlobe level. Measured responses meet the theoretical values with tolerable amount of deviation. SAW-based modulator simplifies the implementation of AWQPSK which uses complex pulse shape as a baseband pulse.
