        형상기억복합재료에 대한 온라인 모니터링 시스템 개발

        형상기억복합재료를 제조하기 위하여 핫프레스 방법을 이용하여 최적의 제조조건을 도출하였으며 냉간압연에 의해 기지재와 강화재의 계면접합을 강화하여 강도를 증가시켰다. 이러한 방법에 의해 제조된 형상기억복합재료에 대하여 외부 하중에 의한 손상정도와 균열의 발생을 감지하여 균열 발생 및 진전을 억제하는 온라인 모니터링 시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 음향방출 신호의 파라미터를 이용하여 손상에 따른 최적의 AE 파라미터를 도출하였으며 가열시스템을 이용하여 형상기억합금을 가열함으로써 형상기억합금의 수축에 의한 복합재료 내부에 균열진전을 억제시키는 시스템을 개발하였다. A hot press method was use for the optimal manufacturing condition for a shape memory alloy(SMA) composite. The bonding between the matrix and the reinforcement within the SMA composite by the hot press mothod was strengthened by cold rolling. In this study, the objective was to develop an on-line monitoring system for the prevention of the crack initiation and propagation by shape memory effect of SMA composite. Shape memory effect was used to prevent the SMA composite from cracking. For the system to be developed, an optimal AE parameter should be determined based on the degree of damage and crack initiation. When the SMA composite was heated by the plate heater attached at the composite, the propagating cracks appeared to be controlled by the compressive force of SMA.

        High-efficiency broadband fiber-optic mechanical intermodal converter

        We demonstrate a highly efficient, broadband fiber-optic intermodal converter. The technique relies on a long period grating mechanically induced in a two-mode fiber. A compact, portable apparatus was designed and fabricated, where period-variable metallic corrugation is implemented to form periodic micro-bends along the fiber. The coupling strength between the interacting fiber modes and the grating period can be tuned continuously and individually using two control knobs in the apparatus. Experimental results show that the complete coupling between the LP01 and LP11 modes is achieved, which is confirmed by an observed over-coupling while increasing the grating strength. For the short fiber length of <1.9 cm (33 grating periods), large band-rejection of 32.5 dB was obtained at resonance. The band rejection efficiency over 98.6% have been achieved in the entire communication C-band. As the grating strength increased, two over-couplings were observed at resonance, which indicates the high efficiency of the device. Experimental results are confirmed by our numerical simulations.

        위 가성임파종 1예 보고

        A 46-year-old female was admitted to Soon Chun Hyang University hospital with a complaint of intermittent epigastric pain. X-ray and endoscopic pictures showed diffase irregular shallow depression which is similar to the macroscopic pattern of the type IIc early gastric cancer. But endoseopic biopsy showed no malignant cell infiltration. Hndoaeopic biopsy plays an important role in excluding the possibility of carcinoma. But operation shoud be considered inspite of biopsy result because malignant lymphoma ean not be completely ruled out. Histopathologic diagnosis was pseudolymphoma of stomach.

        부산항에 있어서 묘박을 위한 랜드마크 체험에 관한 연구

        This study is about gaining orientation through anchorage act of a group of ferryman. In addition, a point acquisition and character of landmark that is closely realated to a point acquisition would be clarified by studying the form of configuration of the earth and object which is used landmark for anchorage. There are 13 anchorage points in the north part of Pusan harbor. 12 anchorage points are used to anchor. A ferryman let a ship which is temporarily anchoring move safely and speedily at the anchorage point. At that time, he uses landmarks by a technique of Overlay View. Between landmarks and viewer would be formed exquisite location combination. A mountain peak, a peak of island, nature configuration of land such as intermitent rock and location, size and form of buildings or structures of a city were variously appeared as landscape elements which were used landmarks. Looking at conditions to be easily captured as a target object, 1. A particular point of a mountain ridge line which was not shield by buildings. 2. In case objects have similar form, the building which was located in the front or the highest. 3. In case of a singular object, whatever there is physical elements, that would be a target object. Through this study a configuration of the ground such as a mountain peak which is become the background of harbor landscape is very important element to find anchorage point in configuration of the ground and object. So, the continuous preservation of the contour line of mountain is needed to do safe and effective anchorage act.

      • GPU 기반 실시간 RGB-D 3D SLAM

        This paper proposes a real-time RGB-D (red-green-blue depth) 3D SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) with GPU (graphic processing unit) acceleration. RGB-D data contains 2D image and per-pixel depth information. 6-DOF (degree-of-freedom) visual odometry is obtained through the 3D-RANSAC (three-dimensional random sample consensus) algorithm with 2D image features and depth data. For speed up extraction of features, parallel computation is performed with GPU acceleration. After a feature man-ager detects loop closure, a graph-based SLAM algorithm optimizes full trajectory of the sensor.

        족근-중족 관절 주위의 골절 및 탈구의 임상적 고찰

        The fracture and dislocation of tarso-metatarsal joint is rare injury, but i( it occurs, associated soft tissue injury is so severe according to its cause of injury. We reviewed 19 patients of fracture and dislocation of tarso-metatarsal joint who were treated in patient service. during the period. from April, 1981 to March, 1991 at our hospital. The results were a follows: 1. Fifteen patients(75%) among the 19 patients were injured due to traffic accident and the associated injury was so severe. 2. Nine cases were treated with percutaneous pinning, closed reduction with cast immobilization in 2 cases anrl open reduction with multiple pinning in 8 cases. Three cases needed free vascularized flap for its extensive soft tissue injury. And, one case was taken below knee amputation for its associated severe injury. 3. Anatomical reduction was achieved in 15 cases and its results were as follows: good in 4 cases, fair in 10 cases and poor in one case. Anatomical reduction was not achieved in 3 cases and the results were as follows: fair in one case and poor in 2 cnses. 4. Eight cases which were treated with open reduction with multiple pinning had the results as follows: good in one, fair in 6 cases and the remaining one case had taken below knee amputation. Eleven cases which were treated with closed reduction and cast immobilization or percutaneous pinning showed the results as follows: good in 3 cases, fair in 5 cases and poor in 3 cases. 5. The patients who were achieved anatomical reduction had better results than who were not achieved anatomical reduction. But, the results of all patients were not so satisfactory. That is because of the point that the Lisfranc joint injury had associated with severe soft tissue injuries. We concluded that early and active intervention and anatomical reduction should be achieved for the better results.
