      • 유기질문화재 보존을 위한 천연 추출물의 항균·살충활성 연구

        This study evaluated the activity of biocidal compounds isolated from natural products and confirmed applicable possibility as conservative agents for orgainic cultural heritages damaged by biological degradation. we used methanol extracts of 11 Korean trees and 17 medicinal plants as natural resources. Among these extracts, Phellodendron amurense was investigated on antifungal activity against Coniophora puteana, Lentinus lepideus, Tyromyces palustris and Aspergillus niger. Asarum sieboldii was investigated on insecticidal activity against adult of Lasioderma serricorne. First, the extract of Phellodendron amurense was partitioned into hexane, dichloromethan and ethylacetate fraction. Among them, the ethylacetate fraction had the most significant antifungal activity. In addition, Asarum sieboldii essential oil showed an effective antifungal and insecticidal activity. As a result, the extract of Phellodendron amurense and Asarum sieboldii essential oil could be useful for conservation of organic cultural heritage against biological deterioration by wood rot fungi and Lasioderma serricorne.

        성인 천식 환자에서 체질량지수와 기도과민성 및 폐기능의 연관성

        Purpose: Obesity is commonly regarded as a risk factor for asthma development, poor asthma control, and poor response to asthma therapy. However, its relationships are not always consistent. Gender difference has been reported to influence asthma severity and asthma control. We investigated the contribution of obesity to airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR) and lung function before and after treatment in adult asthmatics. Methods: The medical records of a total of 323 adult asthmatics were analyzed retrospectively. Asthma was diagnosed based on the positive result of methacholine bronchial provocation test (PC20≤25 mg/mL) or bronchodilator test (≥12% and 200-mL improvement in forced expiratory volume in 1 second after inhalation of a bronchodilator). Follow-up spirometry was performed in 113 patients after at least 3 months of asthma treatment with controller medication. Percent change between spirometry before and after treatment was defined as {[(value after treatment.value before treatment)/value before treatment]×100}. Body mass index (BMI, weight [kg]/height [m2]) was categorized into underweight (<18.5), normal weight (18.5.24.9), overweight (25.0.29.9), and obese (>30) according to the world health organization classification. Results: BMI did not show any significant correlation with PC20 value of methacholine provocation test and each lung function parameter before and after treatment. When we divided the study subjects according to gender and age, BMI was negatively correlated with PC20 value only in female adult asthmatics under 65 years old (r=.0.024, P=0.036). Conclusion: Obesity is positively correlated with the intensity of AHR in female adult asthmatics. Gender seems to differentially contribute to the relationship between BMI and AHR.         불멸화된 일차 간세포를 이용한 C형 간염바이러스의 in vitro 배양

        Background/Aims: It is essential to develop an in vitro culture model of primary hepatocytes for the study of hepatocellular function and the pathogenesis of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. In this study, we have established the immortalized primary human hepatocyte (IPHH) and performed in vitro culture of HCV derived from human patient. Methods: Primary human hepatocytes were isolated from surgically resected liver tissue and then were immortalized by transfection with the SV40 large T antigen. The characterization of the IPHH during culture was analyzed by immunocytochemistry, RT-PCR, Western blot, ELISA, and soft agar assay. Next, sera and/or liver tissue homogenates from surgically resected liver tissues of patients with HCV infection were inoculated for the culture of HCV in IPHH. After HCV RNA extraction from IPHH and culture media, positive or negative stranded HCV RNA was examined by specific nest RT-PCR. Results: IPHH expressed liver-associated proteins but did not express alpha-fetoprotein. Also IPHH showed ammonia removal activity. With regard to its malignant potential, colony formation in soft agar assay was not observed. Next, positive and negative stranded HCV RNAs in IPHH infected with patient`s sera plus liver tissue homogenates were clearly detected whereas those in IPHH infected with only patient`s sera were not detected. Conclusions: These results demonstrated the phenotypic characteristics of IPHH and the feasibility in vitro culture system of HCV infected human samples. This system might be useful for study of pathogenesis of HCV infection or hepatocyte-based applications. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2008;52:150-160)

        한양방치료를 병행 후 호전된 진성적혈구증가증 환자 1례

        Objective: This study reports one case of polycythemia vera patient treated with oriental medicine in conjunction with conventional medicine. Methods: One patient who was diagnosed with polycythemia vera was treated using different modalities of herbs, acupuncture, and pharmacopuncture. An herbal formula, Yongdamsagan-tang was given three times a day with daily acupuncture treatment session, in addition to Soyeom and Jahageo pharmacopuncture injection which were administered three times a week. After treatment, patient's symptoms and blood test results were observed and analyzed. Results: After ten days of treatment, the patient had shown improvements in symptoms of headache, dizziness, tinnitus, and itchiness. Two months later, laboratory findings continued to be kept within the normal range and the intervals of phlebotomy therapy has extended to three months. Conclusions: This case study shows minimum evidence of safety and efficacy of oriental medicine for managing symptoms of polycythemia vera. Considering this is only a short term, single case study, further research is needed to confirm these results.

        창작발레 관람의 소비가치에 따른 만족도에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 한국의 창작발레의 활성화와 저변확대를 위해 관람자들의 소비가치를 중심으로 세분시장의 한국 창작발레 관람특성과 소비행동특성을 파악하였다. 이에 이론적 개념들 간의 관계를 측정하여 소비가치가 만족도에 미치는 관계를 분석하였다. 한국 창작발레 활성화를 위한 목적은 첫째, 다양하게, 확고한 신념의 도전을 통해, 즉 대중적인 주제와 소재를 가지고 관객에게 작품을 선택할 수 있는 범위을 확대시켜 대중이 쉽게 발레 창작 공연을 보고 즐길 수 있는 기회를 마련하고, 발레가 재밌는 예술이라는 것을 대중에게 인지시키면서 창작발레가 성장함과 동시에 아직 대중화에 부족한 무용계에 원동력이 되도록 한다. 첫째, 한국 창작 발레의 소비가치는 문화가치의 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 한국 창작 발레 공연과 관련하여 소비자들의 소비가치를 통한 세분 시장의 특성 및 소비행동을 알아보고 만족도에 영항을 미친다. 셋째, 한국 창작 발레 공연과 관련하여 이론적 개념들 간의 관계를 파악한다. 즉, 관람객의 소비가치가 만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 접근성의 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 한다. 넷째, 한국창작발레 관람객의 인구통계적 특성에 따라 소비자 만족도를 파악하고자 한다. 다섯째, 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 국내 창작발레의 소비가치를 통한 공연상품으로의 개발가능성을 확인하고 한국창작발레의 활성화와 저변확대를 위한 전략적 방안을 마련하는데 그 목적이 있다. 창작발레는 다양한 형태의 공연을 통해 빠르게 변화하고 있는 대중들의 욕구를 채워주며, 공연 수입증대를 통해 단체재정과 안정성, 작품의 완성도를 높여주는 중요한 역할을 한다. 이제는 전공인들 만이 관람하는 공연이 아닌 관객층 확보와 확대의 방법으로 작품의 질적 향상과 대중적인 소재개발에 힘써야한다.

        IoT 오픈 플랫폼 암호기술 현황 및 보안 요구사항 분석

        IoT 기술의 급격한 발전으로 스마트홈이나 스마트 시티와 같은 다양한 편리한 서비스들이 실현되었다. 그러나 무인 환경에서의 IoT 기기는 도청 및 데이터 위조, 무단 액세스로 인한 정보 누출 등 다양한 보안 위협에 노출되어 있다. 안전한 IoT 환경을 구축하려면 IoT 기기에 적절한 암호화 기술을 사용해야 한다. 그러나 IoT 기기의 제한된 자원으로 인해 기존 IT 환경에 적용된 암호화 기술을 그대로 적용하는 것은 불가능하다. 본 논문에서는 성능에 따라 IoT 디바이스의 분류를 조사하고 IoT 디바이스의 보안 요구 사항을 분석한다. 또한 AllJoyn, oneM2M, IoTivity와 같은 IoT 개방형 표준 플랫폼의 현재 암호화 기술의 사용 현황을 조사하고 분석한다. 암호화 기술 사용 현황에 대한 연구를 기반으로 각 플랫폼이 보안 요구사항을 만족하는지 확인한다. 각 IoT 개방형 플랫폼은 기밀성, 무결성, 인증 및 인증과 같은 보안 서비스를 지원하기위한 암호화 기술을 제공한다. 하지만 혈압 모니터링 센서와 같은 자원이 제한된 IoT 장치는 기존의 암호화 기법을 적용하기가 어렵다. 따라서 무인 환경에서 전력 제한 및 자원 제약을 받는 IoT 장치에 대한 암호화 기술을 연구 할 필요가 있다. With the rapid development of IoT(Internet of Things) technology, various convenient services such as smart home and smart city have been realized. However, IoT devices in unmanned environments are exposed to various security threats including eavesdropping and data forgery, information leakage due to unauthorized access. To build a secure IoT environment, it is necessary to use proper cryptographic technologies to IoT devices. But, it is impossible to apply the technologies applied in the existing IT environment, due to the limited resources of the IoT devices. In this paper, we survey the classification of IoT devices according to the performance and analyze the security requirements for IoT devices. Also we survey and analyze the use of cryptographic technologies in the current status of IoT open standard platform such as AllJoyn, oneM2M, IoTivity. Based on the research of cryptographic usage, we examine whether each platform satisfies security requirements. Each IoT open platform provides cryptographic technology for supporting security services such as confidentiality, integrity, authentication an authorization. However, resource constrained IoT devices such as blood pressure monitoring sensors are difficult to apply existing cryptographic techniques. Thus, it is necessary to study cryptographic technologies for power-limited and resource constrained IoT devices in unattended environments.

        경기북부지역 주요 호소수의 수질오염특성 평가

        Objectives: A lake is a place used by many people, and compared to rivers it is easy for them to become polluted. The water quality in lakes and reservoirs has been worsening recently. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the water pollution characteristics of major lakes in northern Gyeonggi-do Province. Methods: Six lakes were selected as major lakes and were evaluated in terms of water pollution characteristics and eutrophication (as defined by results for COD Mn , TOC, SS, Chl-a, T-N and T-P) over one year (from December 2016 through November 2017) in northern Gyeonggi-do Province. Results: The annual average COD Mn was found to be 3.1 mg/L in Onam, 3.6 mg/L in Sanjeong, 4.7 mg/L in Gisan, 4.8 mg/L in Ilsan, and 6.1 mg/L in Jangja. The results of the Korean trophic state index (TSI KO ) value indicated a eutrophic state (TSI KO 59.0) in Jangja lake. The other lakes were classified as being in a mesotrophic state (TSI KO of 38.1 in Sanjeong, 40.2 in Ilsan, 41.9 in Onam, 46.1 in Gisan, and 47.8 in Gomo). Conclusions: Ilsan Lake’s water quality is being well maintained. Sanjeong, Onam, and Gisan are appropriate for use as agricultural water. Jangja lake requires efforts for water quality improvement and to prevent the inflow of non-point pollutant sources.
