With South Korea increasingly focusing on nuclear energy, the management of spent nuclear fuel has attracted considerable attention in South Korea. This study established a novel procedure for selecting safety-relevant radionuclides for long-term safety assessments of a deep geological repository in South Korea. Statistical evaluations were performed to identify the design basis reference spent nuclear fuels and evaluate the source term for up to one million years. Safety-relevant radionuclides were determined based on the half-life criteria, the projected activities for the design basis reference spent nuclear fuel, and the annual limit of ingestion set by the Nuclear Safety and Security Commission Notification No. 2019-10 without considering their chemical and hydrogeological properties. The proposed process was used to select 56 radionuclides, comprising 27 fission and activation products and 29 actinide nuclides. This study explains first the determination of the design basis reference spent nuclear fuels, followed by a comprehensive discussion on the selection criteria and methodology for safety-relevant radionuclides.

The purpose of the study was to draw improvement plans of sport science support system for elite sport, in attempt to meet the continuous trend of development and to overcome risk elements occurred in elite sport system. In the study, first, tasks and functions of sport science institutes in advanced countries were overviewed as comparative data against Korean counterpart. Second, status-quo of sport science support system in Korea was overviewed. Third, improvement plans of sport science support system for elite sport were provided based on the data overviewed earlier. As the improvement plans for sport science support system, we suggest, first, change of main agent of sport science support from single structured system to diversified structured system. Second, in order to resolve high-centrifuged phenomenon of the sport science support contents, application of practical information through research, application of research and measured data that considered individual features, and application of research outcomes of a new field related to athletic performance were suggested. Third, establishment of unified administration system handling sport science support was suggested.
Experimental Study of the Dynamic Characteristics of Rubber Mounts for Agricultural Tractor Cabin

Purpose: To obtain the dynamic characteristics (spring stiffness and damping coefficient) of a rubber mount supporting a tractor cabin in order to develop a simulation model of an agricultural tractor. Methods: The KS M 6604 rubber mount test method was used to test the dynamic characteristics of the rubber mount. Of the methods proposed in the standard, the resonance method was used. To perform the test according to the standard, a base excitation test device was constructed and the accelerations were measured. Results: Displacement transmissibility was measured by varying the frequency from 3–30 Hz. The vibration transmissibility at resonance was confirmed, and the dynamic stiffness and damping coefficient of the rubber mount were obtained. The front rubber mount has a spring constant of 1247 N/mm and damping ratio of 3.27 Ns/mm, and the rear rubber mount has a spring constant of 702 N/mm and damping ratio of 1.92 Ns/mm. Conclusions: The parameters in the z-direction were obtained in this study. In future studies, we will develop a more complete tractor simulation model if the parameters for the x- and y-directions can be obtained.

1974年 1月 10日부터 同月 17日에 걸쳐 全羅南道 寶城郡 會泉面 書堂里 앞바다 (得糧灣)에서 2.7ton 級 小型船(機關 DAE DONG 5H)으로 112ha (1,400m×800m)의 漁場에서 피조개 桁綱을 16回 引綱하여 피조개의 現存量을 調査했다. 1. 피조개의 推定 現存量은 約 3.4∼8.3M/T, 個休數로는 約 11,000∼37,000個이다. 2. 漁獲된 피조개는 93%가 3年生 以上의 것이며 主成體를 이루고 있고 殼長(L)과 總重量(W)과의 關係式은 W=0.0002796L^(3.03353)이다.
