      • Interleukin-17A and Th17 cells contribute to endometrial cell survival in endometriosis

        목적: Immune status including the immune cells and cytokine profiles has been implicated in the development of endometriosis. In this study, we analyzed Th17 cells and interleukin-17A (IL-17A) in peritoneal fluid. we constructed endometrial stroma cells from endometriotic tissues, and determined that IL-17A has a potential anti-apoptotic effect on endometrial stroma cells. 방법: This study included 26 women with endometriosis (endometriosis group) and 10 women without endometriosis (control group). Women of reproductive age (between 20 and 40 years of age) who underwent laparoscopic examination for endometriosis were included. Endometriotic tissues and PF were obtained from patients with ovarian endometriomas who were undergoing laparoscopy. 결과: Our study has shown increased Th17 cell population and IL-17A level in PF with endometriosis patients. To determine the roles of IL-17A and Th17 cells in the development of endometriosis, the effect of IL-17A, major cytokine of Th17, on endometrial cells isolated from endometriotic tissues was examined. Recombinant IL- 17A promoted survival of endometrial cells accompanied by increased expression of anti-apoptotic genes, including Bcl-2 and Mcl-1, and the activation of extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERK1/2) signaling. In addition, IL-17A conferred a resistance to natural killer (NK) cell mediated cytotoxicity on endometrial cells and promoted migration of endometrial cells. The IL-17A induced resistance to cell death was decreased by treatment of the ERK inhibitor, PD0325901. 결론: Our data suggest that Th17 cells and IL-17A play critical roles in the development of endometriosis by promoting endometrial cell survival through the activation of ERK1/2 signaling. Targeting IL-17A has potential as a new strategy for the treatment of endometriosis.

        그레마스 기호학을 이용한 서사 분석 - <파리의 자살가게>를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study was to analyze long-length animations with a solid narrative structure reflecting the problems of the times and society based on humanities and philosophy. The subjects of the analysis chose the French feature film "The Suicide Store in Paris," which was loved by many in France despite its unabashed critical views on human alienation, depression and materialism in our time. This study was based on Greimas Semiotics, which provides an in-depth understanding of the meaning of the work's analysis using an independent analytical framework that sheds light on its narrative structure. It is based on the differences between the two elements that are divided into six actors, identifying the relationship between them, and extracting the elements of the story based on the results. As a result of the analysis, the Actant Model of the animation "The Suicide Store in Paris" was analyzed as wealth, laughter, and happiness based on the materialism that resulted in death after extracting the opposite structures. Based on this, the analysis of carre semiotique showed that unhappiness, happiness, death, and life led to a hopeful introduction of laughter and happiness. 본 연구는 인문학과 철학을 바탕으로 그 시대와 사회의 문제점을 반영한 탄탄한 서사 구조를 가진 장편 애니메이션을 분석함에 목적을 두었다. 분석 대상은 우리 시대에서의 인간의 소외, 우울증, 물질만능주의에 대한 비판적인 시각을 가감 없이 표현함에도 불구하고, 프랑스의 많은 이들에게 사랑받은 프랑스 장편 애니메이션 <파리의 자살가게>를 선정 하였다. 본 연구는 작품의 서사구조를 밝히는 독립적 분석틀로 작품을 분석하는데 있어서 심층적 의미를 파악할 수 있는 그레마스 기호학에 기반에두었다. 이는 작품의 주요 행위자들을 여섯 개의 행위소로 분류하여 그들사이의 관계를 파악하고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 이야기의 의소를 추출해 서로 대립하는 두 가지 요소들의 차이를 기반으로 이루어진다. 분석 결과, 애니메이션 <파리의 자살가게>의 행동자 모델은 서로 대립되는 구조의 의소를 추출한 결과 죽음으로 얻은 물질만능주의에 따른 부와 웃음과 행복으로 분석되었다. 이를 바탕으로 기호학적 사각형을 분석한 결과 불행-행복, 죽음-삶으로 변하여 웃음과 행복의 희망적 서사 행로가 진행됨을 알 수 있었다.

      • 모델예측제어에 기반한 화성정밀착륙 유도법칙 연구

        화성은 태양계의 행성 중 지구와 가장 유사한 환경을 갖고 있어 인류가 거주할 수 있는 가능성이 가장 큰 행성이다. 따라서 화성탐사를 위한 착륙선의 연구 및 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있지만 아직까지 착륙 정확도의 향상이 절대적으로 필요한 상황이다. 정밀착륙유도를 위해서는 화성의 대기권을 통과하면서 발생하는 바람이나 대기 밀도의 변화와 같은 불확실성 요소에 대한 추정 및 예측이 필요하며 이 정보를 이용한 근 최적유도제어가 연구되어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 화성착륙 동역학 모델을 선형화하고 제약조건을 완화하여 모델예측제어를 적용 가능하게 하였다. 하지만 비용함수에서 발생하는 수치적 불안정성이 파라미터의 변화에 따라 발생하는 경우가 나타나 이를 해결할 방안 및 앞으로의 연구의 방향을 제시하였다. Mars is the planet most likely to be able to mankind live because Mars has most similar environment to the Earth’s environment in the solar system. Therefore, research and development of landing for the Mars exploration has been carried out actively, but in situations where absolutely necessary to improve the accuracy still landing. For the precision landing guidance, the estimation and prediction of uncertainties from the winds or atmospheric density variation is required, and the near-optimal guidance must be studied using these information. Thus, the dynamic model and the constraints of Mars landing were linearized and relaxed to apply model predictive control. The uncertainty variation affecting state variables was applied to the dynamic model and the near-optimal solution was obtained. Moreover this guidance logic was compared with other Mars landing guidance logics.

      • 템플릿 매칭을 이용한 UAV 온보드 표적인식 및 추적 알고리즘 구현

        본 논문에서는 무인기의 영상기반 자동착륙을 위한 표적 인식 및 추적 알고리즘을 구현하였으며 실시간 구현 결과를 분석하였다. 먼저 전처리 과정을 거친 이진화 영상에서 연결된 픽셀들의 집합을 레이블링 하여 표적 후보를 정하고, 각 후보에 회전각을 고려한 템플릿 매칭을 적용하여 템플릿과 상관계수가 가장 높은 후보를 표적으로 인식한다. 인식이 완료된 시점에서 계산속도가 빠르며 표적의 크기까지 고려 가능한 CAMShift 를 사용하여 추적을 수행한다. 추적 수행 중 표적을 놓치는 경우에 인식의 단계로 돌아가 알고리즘을 다시 수행하여 강건한 추적이 가능하며 실제 비행영상에 적용하여 성능을 검증하였다. In this paper, we developed the target recognition and tracking algorithms for vision-based autonomous landing of UAVs and real-time implementation results were investigated. First, connected set of pixels in the binary image after preprocessing are specified as target candidates by labeling connected components and one candidate which has the highest correlation coefficient is determined as the target by applying template matching algorithm considering rotation angle of the template. However, the time can be greatly reduced by applying the algorithm to only candidates. After the recognition is done, tracking is performed by CAMShift algorithm which is fast and possible considering the size of target. The algorithm returns to the recognition phase when the target lost during tracking, thus robust tracking is possible. In addition, performance was evaluated by using actual flight test video.

        Peripheral blood BRCA1 methylation profiling to predict familial ovarian cancer

        Objective: Familial cancer appears at a young age and its incidence is increasing. About 12%of familial ovarian cancer cases are associated with BRCA1/2 mutations (BRCAm). In thisstudy, we investigated BRCA1 methylation may predict ovarian cancer in those with a familyhistory of cancer (FHC) but without BRCA1/2 mutations (BRCAwt). Methods: Using peripheral blood DNA from 55 subjects without a history of cancer[cancer(−)] and 52 ovarian cancer patients, we examined BRCA1 promoter methylationthrough bisulfite sequencing of the promoter and expressed the results as the cumulativemethylation index. Then, we evaluated the BRCA1 promoter methylation according to BRCA1/2germline mutations. Results: BRCA1 methylation was more prevalent in the BRCAm cancer(−) group than in theBRCAwt cancer(−) group and ovarian cancer patients (p=0.031 and p=0.019, respectively). Inthe BRCAwt cancer(−) group, BRCA1 methylation was more prevalent in those with an FHCthan in those without one and in the BRCAm cancer(−) group with an FHC (p=0.001 andp<0.001, respectively). Conclusion: Our data suggest a predictive role of BRCA1 methylation profile for ovarian cancer inthose without a history of cancer but with an FHC. BRCA1 methylation has important implicationsfor diagnostic and predictive testing of those with BRCAwt cancer(−) status with FHC.

        Effect of Ixeris dentata Nakai Extract on Nitric Oxide Production and Prostaglandin E2 Generation in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 Cells

        Inflammation is the basis of severe acute and chronic diseases. This study investigated the anti-inflammatory property of a crude methanol extract (MeOH-ex) and the solvent fractions of Ixeris dentata Nakai (IDN) in LPS-stimulated murine macrophage-like cell line RAW264.7. Here, we showed that the ethyl acetate fraction (EtOAc-fr) had the most potent inhibitory activity on LPS-induced nitric oxide (NO) production among the tested samples, i.e., IDN MeOH-ex and the three different solvent fractions (chloroform, n-hexane, and EtOAc). We further found that the EtOAc-fr significantly inhibited LPS-induced prostaglandin PGE2 (PGE2) generation in RAW264.7 cells. Furthermore, the treatment with EtOAc-fr effectively suppressed the expression of inducible NO synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2). These results suggest that the EtOAc-fr of IDN MeOH-ex exhibits an anti-inflammatory activity in vitro by inhibiting LPS-induced NO production and PGE2 generation via suppression of iNOS and COX-2 expression.
