The history of art in the twentieth century is manifold as the century`s events and their consequences. Many Artists all around the world tried to find new way to express themselves. From late twentieth century art jewelry became a important part of art field and many artists express themselves through art jewelry. Among them Netherlands` jewelry artist Gijs Bakker(1942- ) is one of the most important artists who had the most influences on changes and developments of art jewelry in the world. His works can be easily found in many publications or thesis on modern art jewelry published since the 20th century. Even this day, his works are still actively introduced through art jewelry galleries. Bakker shows his distinctive personality through his jewelry. He was very active in using new materials or attempting new expressions to express his personality, and he tried to make jewelry design be recognized as a field of arts by expanding concept of jewelry. This thesis has researched and analyzed Bakker`s jewelry which was a field for new modeling, a vehicle for communication, and an object to deliver artist`s personality thus his philosophy and artistic wills could be helpful to many jewelry artists of today.
건축 디자인 스튜디오의 비정형 건축 디자인에서 인간행동 재현이 창의적 발상에 미치는 영향

비정형 공간에 대한 사회적 요구는 점차 증대되고 있다. 전 세계적으로 새로운 공간에 대한 사회의 요구는 높아지고 있으며 이를 디자인하기 위한 Rhino와 같은 도구의 활용은 학교는 물론 실무에서도 그 비중이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 이와 같은 디자인 결과물 및 과정은 자칫 인간행동에 주는 편리함이라는 건축의 근본적인 가치를 간과하는 상황을 초래하기도 한다. 오히려 비정형 건축공간은 기존의 건축물에서와는 다른 인간행동이 나타날 수 있고 이는 사용자의 편의뿐만 아니라 안전에도 직결되는 중요한 문제이다. 교육적인 측면에서 비정형 건축 디자인 과정은 새로운 건축형태의 생성에 유익하다. 그러나 학생은 물리적인 형태로 규정되는 인간행동에 대하여 고려할 수 있어야 형태뿐만 아니라 공간적으로 우수한 건축물을 설계할 수 있다. 인간행동에 대한 고려를 위하여 일반적으로 설계과정 중에 사람형상의 이미지를 사용하곤 하는데 비정형 건축물의 디자인에서 어떤 효과가 있는지 구체적으로 밝혀진 바는 없다. 본 연구는 비정형 건축설계에서 인간행동 재현이 미치는 효과에 관한 것이다. 즉, 비정형 건축설계 과정에서 인간형상의 재현이 창의적인 발상에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석하였다. 연구방법은 77명의 학생이 다양한 인간형상의 이미지를 자신의 비정형 디자인에 배치하고 배치 이전과 이후의 설계결과물을 각각 산출하게 하였다. 또한, 각 결과물을 비교하면서 설문에 참여하고 설문을 통계적인 수법으로 분석하여 인간행동 재현의 효과를 고찰하였다. 연구결과를 통하여 인간형상의 재현을 통하여 설계자는 더욱 결과물의 유용성/합리성에 대하여 확신할 수 있으며 다양한 기능을 발견할 수 있고 사용자의 안전 및 편의에 대하여 더욱 검토할 수 있다고 분석되었다. The social demand for the atypical space is gradually increasing. The demand of society for new space is increasing all over the world, and the use of tools such as Rhino for designing them is increasing in the school as well as the practice. However, such design outcomes and processes often overlook the fundamental value of architecture, which is the convenience of human behavior. Rather, atypical architectural spaces can show different human behaviors than existing buildings, and this is an important issue that directly affects safety as well as user convenience. From the educational standpoint, the atypical architectural design process is beneficial to the creation of new architectural forms. However, students must be able to consider human behavior as defined in physical form, so that they can design not only types but also spatially superior buildings. For the consideration of human behavior, the image of a human figure is usually used during the design process, but the effect of the design of the atypical building has not been elucidated in detail. This study deals with the effect of human behavior representation on irregular architectural design. In other words, the effect of the representation of the human figure on the creative idea in the irregular architectural design process was analyzed. In the study, 77 students placed images of various human shapes in their atypical designs and calculated the design results before and after placement. In addition, we analyzed the results of human behavior by analyzing questionnaires by statistical method. Through the result of the study, it is analyzed that the designer can more sure about the usefulness / rationality of the result through the representation of the human figure, can discover various functions, and can review the safety and convenience of the user.
울산지역 대기 중 아황산가스의 시공간적 오염특성(2005-2009)

We investigated the temporal and spatial distribution of SO2 measured at 14 air pollution monitoring sites in Ulsan, Korea. The levels of SO2 in Ulsan have continuously decreased since the 1990s, and a recent (2005-2009) annual average concentration of 8 ppb is lower than the national guideline of 20 ppb. However, Ulsan has higher levels of SO2 than any other mega-city in Korea. The average level of SO2 at industrial sites (13.7ppb) is 2.4 times higher than those at residential and commercial sites. According to the measurement data, meteorological condition, and former air dispersion modeling results, it was confirmed that SO2 emitted from the industrial complex was transported to the residential area by sea-land breeze and southeastern seasonal winds. For the improved air quality in Ulsan, the current environmental policy permitting the use of high-sulfur oil (<4%) should be carefully evaluated. The emission of greenhouse gases and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) as well as SO2 from plants using the high-sulfur oil should be monitored. Furthermore, separated environmental policies for the industrial and residential areas are required for more effective pollution management.
반도체 표면처리공정용 대면적 히터 플레이트의 열전달 특성에 관한 연구

The numerical study for the effect of various factors that affect the temperature distribution of the process glass installed above the large rectangular heater plate was carried out. For the calculation, heat flux, distance between heat source and process glass plate, effect of vacuum condition and convection in a chamber were considered as important factors. The results showed that the temperature gradient on the glass was increased at the natural convection because of the buoyancy force increases due to the heated air. Also, the more heat flux and distance between the heater plate and glass increases, the more increasing the temperature gradient was. In the case of isothermal heating wall, the temperature variation was smaller than the uniform heat flux condition.

The purpose of this study is to develop a space information-based data model required to build apartment house maintenance systems equipped with intelligent home network. This reflects the increasing needs for developing an effective data model after the introduction of intelligent home networks. At the same time, this study has been conducted as a part of an effort to analyze and overcome problems required in the middleware for conventional CAFM(Computer-Aided Facility Management) and intelligent home network services. In this regard, an integrated information system on manager's tasks and targets to be managed has been implemented, actively utilizing the space information of an apartment house. Space information includes management information mostly on a physical basis while becoming a visual-perceptual standard that determines communication and physical situations within a society. Therefore, visualizing complicated management information based on space information or shape of space is beneficial in intuitively understanding on-site situation. This becomes the basis for implementation of more visualized management history system and also can be used as a type of middleware for highly intelligent location-based services.

In this study, the change of pronunciation before and after the pronunciation guidance was analyzed for Korean Japanese learners who received the pronunciation guidance in Japanese at Korean universities compared with native pronunciation. As a result, it was found that the speed of speech was approaching the native pronunciation after receiving pronunciation guidance. It was also revealed that the number of learners who have been instructed by pronunciation is more accurate than the percentage of learners who have been instructed to pronunciate, but often it is worse or worse. In addition, it was revealed that the reading of the words that were incorrectly settled before receiving pronunciation guidance would not change unless they were conscious of the exact pronunciation even if they were instructed.
