(Allyloxy)methyl-Crown Ethers have been used as metal cation carriers in a bulk liquid membrane system. Competitive transports by the AMDT18C6 and the AM18C6 are selective for Pd(Ⅱ) ion and Pb(Ⅱ) ion over other transition metal cations respectively. Studies of complexations of (Allyloxy)methyl-Crown Ethers with metal cations have been carried out by titration calorimetry and potentiometry. (Allyloxy)methyl-Crown Ether를 액체막계에서 금속이온의 운반체로 사용하였다. 운반체로 사용한 AMDT18C6는 경쟁이동반응에서 Pd(II)를 선택적으로 분리하였으며 AM18C6는 Pb(II)의 선택성이 있었다. 거대고리리간드와 금속이온과의 착물형성에 관한 연구는 전위차법과 용액열량계법을 이용하였다.

We synthesized ZnO nanowires patterned on Si substrate and investigated the field emission properties of the nanowires. Firstly, Au catalyst layers were fabricated on Si substrate by photo-lithography and lift-off process. The diameter of Au pattern was $50\;{\mu}m$ and the pattern was arrayed as $4{\times}4$. ZnO nanowires were grown on the Au catalyst pattern by the aid of Au liquid phase. The orientation of the ZnO nanowires was vertical on the whole. Sufficient brightness was obtained when the electric field was $5.4\;V/{\mu}m$ and the emission current was $5\;mA/cm^2$. The threshold electric field was $5.4\;V/{\mu}m$ in the $4{\times}4$ array of ZnO nanowires, which is quite lower than that of the nanowires grown on the flat Si substrate. The lower threshold electric field of the patterned ZnO nanowires could be attributed to their vertical orientation of the ZnO nanowires.

In the long-span sub-micro vibration control structures, one of the essential factor together with vibration control comply a term of works. therefore applying precast concrete is a point of the present time when we consider to reduction of a term of works. we must devise other special floor system, if it go over the maximum manufactured precast concrete member size. The purpose of this experimental study is to examine the structural properties of X-braced PC column-girder joint in long span sub-micro vibration control structure system of length over 17 meter. The test result showed that X-brace was appeared stress concentration and each point strains of reinforcement bar appeared load-strain curve.

Background/Aims: Long-term Helicobater pylori infection results in atrophic gastritis and intestinal metaplasia, and increases the risk of gastric cancer. However, it is still controversial that eradication of H. pylori improves atrophy or metaplasia. Therefore, we investigated histological changes after the H. pylori eradication in patients with atrophy or metaplasia. Methods: One hundred seven patients who received successful eradication of H. pylori infection in Hanyang University, Guri Hospital from March 2001 to April 2006, were enrolled. Antral biopsy was taken before the eradication to confirm the H. pylori infection and grade of atrophy or metaplasia by updated Sydney System. After a certain period of time, antral biopsy was repeatedly taken to confirm the eradication and investigate histological changes of atrophy or metaplasia. Results: Mean age of the patients was 55.3±11.3, and average follow-up period was 28.7±13.9 months. Endoscopic diagnosis included gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, non-ulcer antral gastritis. Atrophy was observed in 41 of 91 and their average score was 0.73±0.92. After the eradication of H. pylori, atrophy was improved (0.38±0.70, p=0.025). However, metaplasia which was observed in 49 of 107, did not significantly improve during the follow-up period. Newly developed atrophy (7 of 38) or metaplasia (18 of 49) was observed in patients who without atrophy or metaplasia initially. Their average scores were slightly lower than those of cases with pre-existing atrophy or metaplasia without statistical significance. Conclusions: After the eradication of H. pylori infection, atrophic gastritis may be improved, but change of intestinal metaplasia is milder and may take longer duration for improvement. 수용액 분사에 의한 아이스 슬러리의 제조에 관한 실험적 연구

아이스슬러리의 생성을 위하여 냉각평판에 작동수를 분사하는 실험을 수행하여 그에 대한 영향에 대하여 영향을 평가하였다. 실험에 사용된 에틸렌글리콜 수용액은 1O~20wt%의 수용액을 사용하였다. 실험장치는 슬러리아이스 저장탱크, 브라인 탱크, 브라인 순환장치, 유량계 및 온도기록계로 구성되어 있다. 실험조건은 평균유속 1.0~2.0m/s , 냉각온도 -17~-10'C의 조건 하에 실험을 수행하였다. Thís study is experimented to observe an influence of experimental conditions on production characteristics of slurry ice by injection operating water to cooling plate. And at thís experiment ít used ethylene glycol-water solution and the concentration is 10 to 20wt%. The experimental apparatus was constructed of ethylene glycol-water solution and slurry ice storage tank, brine tank, pumps for ethylene glycol-water solution and brine circulating, a mass flow-meter, data logger for fluid temperature measuring and a vertical circular tube with single copper plate as test section The experiments were carried out under various conditions, with mean velocity of fluid at the entry ranging from 1.0 to 2.0m/s and the cooling temperature of -17'C to -10'C.

Ribbon silicon solar cells have been investigated because they can be produced with a lower material cost. However, it is very difficult to get good texturing with a conventional acid solution. To achieve high efficiency should be minimized for the reflectance properties. In this paper, acid vapor texturing and anti-reflection coating of $SiN_x$ was applied for EFG Ribbon Si Wafer. P-type ribbon silicon wafer had a thickness of 200 ${\mu}m$ and a resistivity of 3 $\Omega-cm$. Ribbon silicon wafers were exposed in an acid vapor. Acid vapor texturing was made by reaction between the silicon and the mixed solution of HF : $HNO_3$. After acid vapor texturing process, nanostructure of less than size of 1 ${\mu}m$ was formed and surface reflectance of 6.44% was achieved. Reflectance was decreased to 2.37% with anti-reflection coating of $SiN_x$.

$Cu(In_{1-x},Ga_x)Se_2$ thin films have been considered as an effective absorber material for high efficient solar cells. In this paper, the CIGS thin films with varied Ga content were prepared using a co-evaporation process of three stage. We carry out structure and electrical optical property on the thin film in varied Ga content. CIGS thin films have been characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy-dispersive spectroscopy(EDS), four-point probe measurement, and the Hall measurement. To optimize Ga contents, Ga/(In+Ga) ratio were changed from 0.13 to 0.72. At this time the carrier concentrations were varied from $1.22{\times}10^{11}\;cm^{-3}$ to $5.07{\times}10^{16}\;cm^{-3}$, and electrical resistivity were varied from $1.11{\times}10^0\;{\Omega}-cm$ to $1.08{\times}10^2\;{\Omega}-cm$. A strong <220/204> orientation and a lager grain size were obtained at a Ga/(In+Ga) of 0.3. We were able to achieve conversion efficiency as high as 15.95% with a Ga/(In+Ga) of 0.3.
