『제인 에어』에 나타난 제인의 이중적 자의식의 구현

This paper criticized Jane Eyre of Charlotte Bronte with feminism. Specifically this article studied on duplicity of Jane intensively through perspective of heroine Jane with feminism. The background of this work, nineteenth British society was the time that women are imposed an obedience by men because of androcentrism. In this society, at that time, women writers obeyed to men in the surface layer and resisted toward patriarchy in the depths. This woman writer depicted characters with duplicity in her work. Especially Jane Eyre was depicted by twofold consciousness of Bronte. Jane grew with poor treatment of relatives. She obeyed to high class people in this environment. But she resisted and was angry toward patriarchy order in her inner side. Here readers can examine Jane’s twofold self-consciousness. Also in Lowood, Jane obeyed school regulation through Helen and Temple but she disobeyed toward it. And Jane obeyed to him and disobeyed to him with complaint through relationship of Rochester, future husband. Finally Jane cared him because Rochester had handicap and their relationship turned around. Thus this paper studied on how Jane overcame patriarchy as woman at that time through twofold self-consciousness.

『폭풍의 언덕』에 나타난 등장인물들의 갈등과 화해의 양극성, 그리고 내적치유

The 19th century was an age in British society when women were dependent on men; they were under male patriarchy and could not express their inner voice. Thus, women faced difficulty in opposing societal norms, and men experienced fatigue under the weight of excessive expectations and the social climate. These women and men needed inner change and healing. An important feature of 19th-century English literature was the characters’ recognition of their deeper identity through inner struggle. English novels of this period also show characters arriving at inner healing through conflict and reconciliation. Emily Bronte’s novel Wuthering Heights expresses various inner changes and healing in its characters. In this work, Catherine is a woman who has grown up amongst men, oppressed by the social system; unable to assert herself, she wanders. Meanwhile, Heathcliff has grown up with unfair treatment due to class discrimination. This article examines the inner growth process and healing of the characters in this work. 19세기 영국 사회는 여성이 남성에게 종속되는 시대였다. 이 시대 여성들은 자신의 내면의 목소리를 주장하지 못하고 남성 가부장제에 억압을 받았다. 즉 여성들은 사회와의 갈등 속에서 어려움을 겪게 되었다. 남성들도 지나친 기대와 사회 풍토 속에서 쉽게 지친 모습을 보였다. 당시의 이러한 여성들과 남성들은 내적인 변화가 필요하고 내적 치유가 필요한 것이다. 또한 19세기 영국 소설에서 등장인물들은 여성에 대한 억압으로 인하여 갈등과 화해를 통하여 내적 치유를 형성해 간다. 따라서 19세기 영국 문학의 주요한 동기로써 등장인물들이 작품 속에서 자신의 내면을 통하여 내적 정체성을 인식하는 것은 당대 영국 문학의 하나의 흐름이 되었다. 본 연구에서 다루게 될 에밀리 브론테(Emily Bronte)의 『폭풍의 언덕』에서도 등장인물들의 다양한 내적 변화와 치유가 나타난다. 예컨대 주인공인 캐서린과 히스클리프는 당대 여성에 대한 억압과 계급간의 차별로 인하여 상처를 입게 된다. 캐서린은 당대 남성 중심의 제도로 인하여 여성으로서 제약과 압박을 받으면서 성장하게 되고 자신의 진정한 주장을 펼치지 못한 채 방황하게 된다. 히스클리프도 당대 계급적인 차별로 인하여 부당한 대우를 받으며 성장하면서 진정한 자아의 모습을 찾지 못한다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 이 작품에 나타나는 등장인물들의 내적 성장과정과 치유의 프로세스를 고찰해 보고자 한다.

문명과 자연의 속성을 통한 헉의 자아성장의 양상: 『허클베리 핀의 모험』을 중심으로

Mark Twain, writer of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, lived in the second half of the 19th century. It was a period in which slavery contrasted with the spirit of equality and freedom, the chief ideology of America. After the Civil War, slavery was abolished, but the harmful effects and segregated social atmosphere in which African-Americans were abused persisted. Slavery was the impetus for the Civil War. The war revealed the differences between the South and North, the pursuit of material possessions, and increased conflicts between white people and the successful class and African-Americans. Against this background, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn showcases the society of the South, racial conflict, and the pursuit of ethical development through Huck, a 14-year-old boy. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn consists of various stories in which Huck escapes from the society that restrains him and meets Jim, a slave, and their experiences as they travel along the Mississippi. Mark Twain criticizes the customs and harmful effects of civilized society through this work and shows Huck’s will to achieve ethical maturity. Nature plays a role throughout Huck’s journey and is a friend to him, helping to show the completion of his ethical maturity. Huck escapes from a riverside village and civilized society, as shown through the roles of the river and raft. Ultimately through all circumstances, Huck experiences progresses in his pursuit of mental development.

기초학력 미달 학생 교육지원에 대한 일반교사와 특수교사의 인식

Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the educational status of students achievement of below basic proficiency level, and to examine in detail what general and special education teachers currently think of as a problem with educational support, and reviewed the concept of basic education that will be improved. Method: A total of 87 people participated in this survey, and it was conducted online using Google Form. The average and frequency of the response data were calculated for each questionnaire, and chi-square analysis and independent sample t-test. Results: Homeroom teachers educated them using special time after school, and organized according to lacked basic academic ability level, for more than 21 minutes and less than 40 minutes per session. And teachers said that the concept of basic proficiency level should be presented in practical terms, and support should focus on re-conceptualization. In addition, support in the 3rd and 4th grades of elementary school was appropriate to prevent the lack of basic education, and subject-oriented support was prioritized. Conclusion: Based on the differences in perceptions between the two groups, educational support methods and implications in the fields of general and special education were presented. 연구목적: 본 연구는 기초학력 미달 학생의 교육 현황을 살펴보고 일반교사와 특수교사가 기초학력 미달 학생 교육 지원에 있어 문제점으로 생각하는 부분과 기초학력에 대한 개념 및 교육지원과 관련하여 나가야 할 방향성에 대하여 구체적으로 탐색하는데 목적을 지닌다. 연구방법: 본 설문에 참여한 대상자는 총 87명이었으며 구글폼을 활용하여 온라인으로 이루어졌다. 응답데이터는 설문문항별로 평균과 빈도를 산출하였고, 일반교사와 특수교사의 인식의 차이를 살펴보기 위하여 문항에 따라 카이제곱분석()과 독립표본 t검정을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 현재 기초학력 미달 학생 지도는 담임교사가 방과 후 특별지도 시간을 활용하여 수행하고 있는 경우가 대다수였고, 기초학력 미달 정도로 편성하고 있었으며 지도는 회기 당 21분 이상 40분 이하로 실시하며, 시도교육청 개발 및 보급자료를 활용하는 경우가 많은 것으로 나타났다. 기초학력 미달 학생의 지도요인의 어려움으로 일반교사는 학생의 비협조와 지도 시간 확보 부족, 특수교사들은 지도 시간 확보의 어려움을 제시하였다. 또한 기초학력 개념은 실제적인 측면으로 지원에 초점을 둔 재개념화를 제안하였다. 나아가 기초학력 미달 예방에 대하여 초등학교 3∼4학년 시기의 지원이 적절하며 교과 위주의 지원을 우선시하고 있었다. 결론: 기초학력 미달 학생 지원과 관련하여 두 집단 간의 인식의 차이에 기반하여 일반교육과 특수교육 분야에서 제시할 수 있는 교육지원 방안과 시사점을 제시하고, 후속 연구에 대하여 제언하였다.

애견의류 착용실태 및 애견더미 생산실태

This study provides basic indices for the development of a pet dog's dummy. Surveys were conducted with 71 owners of small dogs weighing under 10kg as preliminary research for information on pet dogs, uses and complaints about their clothes and demographic information to investigate wearing conditions. We collected pictures of 30 products sold in 12 brands at home and abroad to analyze size, materials, and patterns and investigate the actual production conditions. The survey results on wearing conditions indicated that 'Maltese' was the breed most often raised in households. Dogs weighing 'between 3kg and 4kg' were most common. Dogs under five years of age took up 53.5%. Most of the clothes were 'S' size, followed by 'M' and 'L' Most responded, 'The overall size does not fit' as an inconvenience when worn for long. Second, most brands developed products in three sizes. The displayed details included neck and chest circumference, back length and dummy height. Cotton and artificial leather were used most often for the outer fabric, cotton for the internal filling along with wire and aluminum for some products to maintain shape and motions. Most dummies consisted of back+outer leg, belly, inner leg and sole. Sometimes, a composition line was added by the chest shape, and an incision was placed between the body and leg for breeds with thick legs. Most patterns had a composition line in the leg connected from the belly.

애견 더미 개발

The purpose of this study is to make an ideal dummy for adult Maltese with proper investigation of its character and direct measurement of dog body-shape. The results of the study are as follows; First, there were 6 factors to affect the characteristics of Maltese body in the analysis, which are size of body, leg shape, chest shape, leg thickness, body length, length between fore-legs. In the cluster analysis with the 6 factors there were two types of Maltese body. Type 1 has body characteristics with large body, thick leg, and small distance between front legs. Type 2 has average size of all factors including body size, leg thickness, and length between fore-legs. Second, type 2 was selected as a representative one to make a dummy reflected body shape of characteristics because it took 67.71% from entire considered factors and has average value in the measured size. The first dummy pattern was planned by copying the surface area of the representative body shape with the method of surgical tape. A dummy of single body with trunk and legs was made using 30’s cotton cloth, polyester inside batting, compressed form PVC and metallic wire on the joint of trunk and legs to support dummy shape. The second pattern was made by correcting size difference of the pattern and adding the pattern of neck covering plate, metal magnetic button was inserted on the center of joint area of trunk and legs to make detachable legs for easy slip on and off the pet’s wear.

국내 애견 관련 산업은 2012 년 기준 이미 2 조원이라는 큰 시장을 형성하였고, 국내의 애완동물을 키우는 인구수는 1,000 만 명에 육박한다. 앞으로도 애견 관련 산업은 지속적으로 성장할 것으로 예상된다. 그런데 많은 애견인들은 바쁜 라이프 스타일 때문에 애견을 충분히 돌보지 못하고 있다. 애견의 분리불안 증세나 우울증 등의 문제를 해결하기 위하여 애견 유치원, 호텔, 애견용 TV 채널 등 다양한 해결책이 나왔으나 아직 획기적인 해결책은 나오지 않았다. 우리는 이 문제에 주목하여 ‘애견의 정서발달을 쉽게 관리할 수 있는 웨어러블 디바이스’인 GATWALK (개 + Network + Walk 의 합성어)를 기획하였다. The market of pet industry is formed as big as about 16 billion dollars, and the population of pet holder reaches 10 million in Korea. And it’s expected to be growing. But many of pet holders are not able to take good care of their pets because of hectic lifestyle. In this context, we designed GATWALK, a wearable device that helps pet to have better emotional status and relationship with the pet owner.

여성복 제작을 위한 드레스폼 생산실태

This study provides basic research for developing dress forms of women’s wear making. This study compared the average body size of Korean women by investigating the shape, composition and size of 417 dress forms for pattern making, sold at Korean and international online malls. The results showed that Korean brands produced torso-type and torso-crotch-type (94.13%), torso-type was the most dominant type made by Japanese Ki and French St (≥80%), and all US Al products were whole-body-type. The most common used internal filler of the dress forms was urethane for South Korean companies and paper for Japanese Ki and French St. In most cases, cotton was used for outer materials. Alternatively, linen and rayon were used as outer materials. Al did not indicate the materials used for filler and outer layers. Additionally, the sizing system of dress forms was commonly presented as a Numeric type. In addition to Numeric type, Ki presented body type + usage and Al used character type. When the dress form size for the average bust size of each age group was evaluated, waist measurements were smaller than the corresponding bust measurements. Dress form was presented in the KS interval and was compared with the mean±1σ interval of each age group. The majority of the dress forms produced in South Korea were for body shapes in their 20s.
