In this work, capacitance-voltage (CV) characterization of n-type ultra-thin-body (UTB) metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) device is performed. First, imaginary simulation works are carried out in terms of minority carrier mobility, gate oxide thickness, and substrate thickness for independently identifying their individual effects on CV characteristics of MOS capacitor (MOSCAP). The body thickness of the MOSCAP is controlled from the thickness larger than the maximum depletion region width (Wdm) down to values thinner than Wdm. Finally, the UTB MOSFETs with different body thicknesses are simulated for CV characterization by non-quasi-static (NQS) analysis.

보육교사의 다문화수용성 향상을 위한 교육사례

본 연구는 보육교사의 다문화수용성 향상을 위한 다문화 교육을 보육교사에게 실시하고 다문화교육 실시 과정 중에 나타나는 보육교사들의 다문화수용성의 변화를 알아보고자 하는 데 목적이 있으며 그를 위해 다문화개념의 기본적인 내용을 구성하여 수업하였고 질적연구 방법을 선택하여 연구를 진행하였다. 연 구대상으로 선정된 보육교사들은 모두 다문화교육을 받은 경험이 없었으며 평 택시 관내 민간어린이집에 근무하고 있다. 교육 효과를 보면 보육교사들은 첫 째, 다문화에 대한 개념을 알게 되었고 둘째, 다문화에 대한 개념을 알게 되면 서 본인들이 가지고 있는 편견과 고정관념을 알게 되었고, 셋째, 본인들의 편 견과 고정관념에 대해 반성하는 모습을 보였으며, 넷째, 다문화 교육은 다문화 부모, 비다문화부모 모두가 대상이 되어 실시되어야 한다는 인식을 할 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the changes in the multicultural acceptivity of Childcare teachers who are in the course of a multicultural education that has been commenced for the Childcare teachers to enhance their multicultural acceptivity. For this, lectures have been prepared by constituting basic concepts of multiculture, and qualitative study methods have been selected. All the Childcare teachers who were selected as the subjects had no experience in receiving multicultural education in the past, and are currently working in private daycare center located within the city of Pyeongtaek. The effects of the education are as follow. First, the subject Childcare teachers came to know and understand the concept of multiculture. Second, they came to learn their own prejudice and stereotype while studying the concept of multiculture. Third, they showed an introspection on the prejudice and stereotype they have had so far. Fourth, it was found that both the parents from multicultural backgrounds and those who are not should all participate in the multicultural education as subjects.

韓國語假設條件詞尾“면”“다면”及其漢語對應情況考察

In Korean and Mandarin Chinese, a hypothetical conditional marker refers to the grammatical unit that acts as a connection between two clauses and represents a certain semantic relationship. As Korean and Mandarin Chinese utilize different ways to mark this relationship, comparison between the two languages can help us understand better the two languages, and this comparative study can promote research in second language acquisition. Most grammar teaching lacks consideration of contextual usage and does not relate to an actual discourse environment and explores language in context. For a discourse-rich comparative study on the hypothetical conditional construction, this study established a parallel corpus that contains a collection of five original texts in Korean and their translations into Mandarin Chinese and six original texts in Mandarin Chinese and their translations into Korean, and investigates how the Korean conditional markers “면” and “다면” correspond to Mandarin Chinese conditional markers “ruguo” and “dehua”, and also examines the cases in which “면” and “다면” show zero correspondence to Mandarin Chinese conditional markers. From the semantic perspective, this study sheds light on the characteristic of “면” “다면” and Mandarin Chinese conjunctions. 韩汉假设条件关系标记是指在两个分句间起连接作用,表示一定语义关系的语法单位。由于汉韩连接方式的不同,对比韩国语和汉语有助于显示两种语言的区别,促进韩汉对比研究和相应的二语习得研究。大多数的语法教材缺乏对情境使用的考虑,也没有与各种话语模式相关的说明。为了通过双语平行语料库考察假设条件句的丰富话语模式,本研究调查了韩汉双语的原版书和其翻译本中词汇语义的对应情况并考察了韩国语假设条件词尾“면”“다면”与汉语中单独使用的 “如果” 和搭配使用的假设助词“的话”相对应的情况。本文从语料库语言学的角度出发,收集了与“면”“다면”对应的所有汉语连接词句式,对它们进行语义分析,并与汉语使用假设条件连词的情况进行比较,探讨韩国语和汉语在使用假设条件连词上的差别,并尝试解释产生这些差异的原因。

Neutropenia is defined as an absolute neutrophil count (ANC) of <1,500/µL, and the severity of neutropenia generally can be graded as mild (1,000-1,500/µL), moderate (500-1,000/µL), or severe (<500/µL). This stratification aids in predicting the risk of pyogenic infection because the susceptibility to life-threatening infections is significantly increased in patients with prolonged episodes of severe neutropenia. Especially cancer-related neutropenia carry significant mortality. Neutropenia can develop under various conditions such as decreased bone marrow production, the sequestering of neutrophils, and increased destruction of neutrophils in the peripheral blood. Neutropenia is classified according to the etiology as congenital or acquired, with the latter further defined according to the etiology or pathology. The clinical result is increased risk for infection, which is directly proportional to the severity and duration of the neutropenia. The typical workup of neutropenia starts with a 6-week period in which complete blood counts are measured twice weekly to document the persistence of the neutropenia and whether a cyclic pattern is present. When persistent neutropenia is diagnosed and no spontaneous recovery occurs within 3 months, a more extensive evaluation is advised. Treatment is usually unnecessary for most patients with severe neutropenia, as the majority of patients have a good prognosis. However, for patients who have severe and frequent infections, treatment with filgrastim may prevent infectious complications and improve quality of life.

대학 입학사정관 직업 경험에 대한 질적 연구

The purpose of this study as a qualitative study was to explore the researcher’s professional life as an admissions officer. Throughout this study, the researcher tried to clarify the important experiences and meanings experienced in the process of working as an admissions officer. For this purpose, the professional experiences of admissions officer were analyzed according to the social context in which university admissions policies change and the passage of time. At the onset of implementing the admissions-officer system, the researcher experienced a difficult time due to misunderstanding and distrust of the admissions officer. However, knowing that the admissions officer could bring meaningful changes to the university entrance environment, the researcher acquired identity as an admissions officer while giving social value and meaning to work. However, the researcher also experienced exhaustion caused by the hierarchical structure of university administration, excessive government intervention in college admission, and an attitude of excessive immersion in work. After that, while objectively looking at the job and work of the admissions officer, the researcher began to seek the job of the admissions officer as a universal job. Based on the these results,the meaning of the admissions officer's work experience was derived and implications were presented.

SiGe Heterojunction FinFET Towards Tera-Hertz Applications

In this work, a novel structure FinFET having an ultra-thin SiGe shell channel forming a heterojunction with Si core is proposed and characterized, with an emphasis on high-speed operation capability in the tera-hertz (THz) regime, by 3-dimensional (3-D) device simulation. The proposed device is operated in the p-type enhancement mode and the ultra-thin SiGe channel confines the mobile holes very effectively by the help of the valence band offset (VBO) between SiGe channel and Si core. The simulations with multiple drift and diffusion models and quantum mechanical models for higher accuracy allow to predict the minimum channel thickness and Ge content of 2 nm and 40%, respectively, for suppressing the hole leakage outflowing over the VBO. Also, scalability was checked down to 5 nm for achieving the upcoming logic technology nodes. Cut-off frequency (f T ) and maximum oscillation frequency (fmax) are obtained to be 240 GHz and 1.04 THz at a low drive voltage as −0.7 V, respectively.

Aloin [1,8-Dihydroxy-10-(β-D-glucopyranosyl)-3-(hydroxymethyl)-9(10H)-anthracenone], is a natural anthraquinone from aloe. It has been shown to have antioxidant and anticancer effects in various types of human cancer cells, but the anticancer effects of aloin in human colorectal cancer cells HT-29 have not been elucidated. In this study, possible mechanisms by which aloin exerts its apoptotic action in cultured human colorectal cancer HT-29 cells were investigated. The results of 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay shows that treatment with aloin (0, 100, 200, 300 and 400 μM) reduced cell viability in a concentrationdependent manner in HT-29 and showed no effects on cell proliferation in A375SM and AGS cells. In addition, it was confirmed that apoptotic body was significantly increased as shown by 4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) staining, and increased apoptosis rate by flow cytometry in HT-29 cells treated with aloin (0, 200 and 400 μM). We confirmed by western blotting that aloin activated Bax (pro-apoptotic), cleaved-poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) and caspase-3, -8 and Bcl-2 (anti-apoptotic) were not changed compared with the control. Aloin induced up-regulation of phospho-p38 and down-regulation of phospho-extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK)1/2. Therefore, aloin suppressed the growth inhibitory effects by the induction of apoptosis in human colorectal cancer cells and has potential as a cancer preventive medicine.
