토양에서 분리한 자낭균 효모 Wickerhamomyces sp. GW1-4와 Archaeorhizomyces sp. YB4-103의특성

The study was undertaken to isolate and characterize wild yeast strains from soil samplescollected in Seoul, Korea. Among the 19 yeast strains obtained, 17 were previously recordedspecies. The remaining two strains, Wickerhamomyces sp. GW1-4 and Archaeorhizomycessp. YB4-103 were new species candidates. The genomic and microbiological characteristicsof GW1-4 and YB4-103 were investigated. Phylogenetic analyses based on the 26S rRNA genesequences and internal transcribed sequences, GW1-4 and YB4-103, represent a distinctlineage within the family Phaffomycetaceae and Archaeorhizomycetaceae, respectively. TheGW1-4 and YB4-103 strains had the highest sequence homology with Wickerhamomycesxylosivorus NBRC 111553T (88.97%) and Archaeorhizomyces finlayi CBS 128710T (87.55%),respectively.

Lactoferrin is an iron-binding glycoprotein which is present in colostrum, milk, and other body secretions. Lactoferrin activities are associated with inflammatory and immune responses. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of lactoferrin hydrolysates (LH) on the production of immunomodulatory factors such as inflammatory related cytokines (tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, interleukin (IL)-1β, interleukin (IL)-6, and interleukin (IL)- 13) in Raw264.7 cells, which originated from murine macrophages. The results show that the Raw264.7 cells cultured in 3 types (whole, and above and below 10 kDa) of lactoferrin hydrolysates (LH) did not show any cytotoxicity in the cells. TNF-α decreased dosedependently to 1,500 - 2,000 ng/mL by treatment with the 3 types of LH at 1, 50, 100 μg/mL, whereas the positive control, lipopolysaccharide (LPS), and negative control produced 2,450 and 1,000 ng/mL of TNF-α, respectively, in the Raw264.7 cells. The treatment with the 3 types of LH (whole and above and below 10 kDa) at 50 μg/mL produced about 20 - 28 ng/mL of IL- 1β at 3, 6, and 9 h, respectively, while the negative control produced 7 ng/mL, and LPS as the positive control produced 48 - 60 ng/mL. TNF-α and IL-6 expression was decreased dosedependently by the 3 types of LH. The mRNA levels of IL-13 were slightly increased dosedependently by the whole and above 10 kDa LH, but decreased dose-dependently by the below 10 kDa LH in the Raw264.7 cells. The results show that LH had immunomodulating effects on cytokine production in anti- and pro-inflammatory reactions as well as anti-allergic reactions.

Lactoferrin (LF) is an iron-binding glycoprotein that is present in colostrum, milk, and other body secretions. The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of lactoferrin hydrolysates (LHs) on the production of immunomodulatory factors, including inflammatory related cytokines. The nuclear factor (NF)-κB reporter assay using human embryonic kidney 293 cells (HEK-293) revealed that NF-κB activity was significantly decreased by 1, 50, and 100 μg/mL of LH and the fractions above and below the 10 kDa LH. The mRNA expression of interferon (IFN)-γ in rat basophilic leukemia mast cells (RBL-2H3) treated with the fraction above the 10 kDa LH decreased in a dose-dependent manner, but the cells treated with LH and the fraction below the 10 kDa LH showed an increased expression of IFN-γ in a dose-dependent manner. The level of cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 expression decreased dosedependently in RBL-2H3 cells treated with LH and the fraction above the 10 kDa LH, but the cells treated with the fraction below the 10 kDa LH showed an increased COX-2 expression in a dose-dependent manner. The mRNA expression of interleukin (IL)-4) was dose-dependently decreased by the fraction below the 10 kDa LH in human mast cells (HMC-1). The mRNA expressions of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α and IL-6 were significantly dose-dependently decreased by the fractions above and below the 10 kDa LH, but was dose-dependently increased by LH. The production of IL-4 was a little increased by the fraction above the 10 kDa LH compared to the positive control, but was decreased with LH and the fraction below the 10 kDa LH in HMC-1 cells. It was concluded that LF hydrolysates had an immunomodulating effect on anti-, pro-inflammatory and anti-allergic reactions.
스트레칭 후 시간 경과에 따른 머리척추각과 근긴장도 변화 연구

본 연구에서는 스트레칭 전후 머리척추각 변화와 스트레칭 후 휴식 시간 경과에 따른 근긴장도 변화를 알고자 하였다. 건강한 20-30대 남녀 학생 57명을 대상으로 하였고, 머리척추각은 스트레칭 전과 후를 비교하였 다. 스트레칭은 정적 수동 스트레칭을 적용하였고, 30초 실시 후 휴식 시간 10초로 총 3회 반복하였으며, 근긴장도 측정 장비를 사용하여 스트레칭 전, 직후, 2분 후, 5분 후를 측정하였다. 스트레칭 전후의 머리척추각은 결과적으로 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 스트레칭 후 휴식 시간에 따른 근긴장도 변화는 스트레칭 전보다 5분 후가 더 유의한 차이를 보였다. 스트레칭을 실시한 직후에 바로 신체활동을 하는 것보다는 적어도 5분 이상의 휴식을 취하여 근긴 장도를 낮춘 후 활동하는 것이 보다 효과적이다. In this study, we wanted to know the change in the craniovertebral angle before and after stretching and muscle tone according to rest time immediately after stretching. 57 students in their 20s and 30s were targeted, and the craniovertebral angle was compared before and after stretching. Static manual stretching was applied for stretching, and after 30 seconds, it was repeated three times with a break time of 10 seconds, and before stretching, immediately after, two minutes after, and five minutes after stretching were measured using muscle tone measuring equipment. As a result, there was no significant difference in craniovertebral angle before and after stretching, and the change in muscle tone according to the rest time after stretching was more significant after 5 minutes than before stretching. It is more effective to take five minutes to rest after stretching, reduce muscle tone than working immediately after stretching.
