        1인 가구 액티브 시니어를 위한 융합 기술이 적용된 텍스타일 사례와 유형 분류

        This study analyzed the needs of active seniors among single households and suggested the direction of developing textile products applying convergence technology according to the expansion of single households and their influence on the economy. Based on this, it aims to contribute to basic data on the development of new textile products in future markets. For theoretical considerations, socio-cultural phenomena and objects were studied through literature research and internet search, and the cases of convergence technology textiles were classified. Active Senior's needs were identified as health, safety, leisure, and relationships. And the convergence technology textile products were listed by sensor technology, heat generation technology, special evangelist technology, and biotechnology technology, and then classified according to four needs. As the active generation of silver continues to increase, leisure needs will be increase, and technology complementing job literacy will be noted. In addition, proper convergence of technology and textiles should be made to develop products that can form various communication networks and products that satisfy the stability and emotion of the user's mind and body. 본 연구는 1인 가구의 확산과 경제에 미치는 영향력이 확대됨에 따라 1인 가구 중 액티브 시니어를 대상으로 그들의 니즈를 분석하고 이에 부합하는 융합 기술이 적용된 텍스타일 상품 개발의 방향을 제시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 미래시장의 새로운 텍스타일 상품 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이론적 고찰을 위하여 문헌조사와 인터넷 탐색을 통해 사회 문화적 현상과 대상에 대한 고찰이 이루어졌고, 융합 기술 텍스타일 사례를 분류하였다. 1인 가구 액티브 시니어의 니즈는 건강, 안전, 여가, 관계로 도출하고, 융합 기술 텍스타일 제품을 센서기술, 발열기술, 특수전도사기술, 생명공학 기술별로 나열하여, 분석된 액티브 시니어의 네 가지의 니즈에 맞춰서 유형을 분류하였다. 실버세대의 활발한 활동 기간이 늘어남에 따라 여가의 니즈가 점차 증가할 것이고 직무 능력을 보완해주는 기술이 주목될 것으로 전망된다. 또한 다양한 커뮤니케이션 네트워크를 형성할 수 있는 제품과 사용자의 심신의 안정과 감성을 충족시킬 제품 개발을 위하여 기술과 텍스타일의 적절한 융합이 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

        Limb Differences in the Therapeutic Effects of Complex Decongestive Therapy on Edema, Quality of Life, and Satisfaction in Lymphedema Patients

        Objective To investigate the changing patterns of edema, quality of life (QOL), and patient-satisfaction after complex decongestive therapy (CDT) in three trajectories: arm lymphedema (AL), secondary leg lymphedema (LL) and primary leg lymphedema (PL).Methods Candidates for AL (n=35), LL (n=35) and PL (n=14) were identified from prospective databases. The patients were treated with CDT for 2 weeks, and lymphedema volume was measured before and immediately following the therapy. Patients then self-administered home therapy for 3 months and presented for a follow-up visit. The Korean version of Short Form-36 (SF-36) was used to assess QOL, and we administered a study-specific satisfaction survey. Results There was no significant difference in the volume reductions between the 3 groups. There were no significant differences in all of the measures between PL and LL. Overall initial QOL was significantly lower in patients with LL than in patients with AL. SF-36 scores post-CDT did not differ significantly between AL and LL. Clinically significant differences were noted between AL and LL in the mean values of the satisfaction survey.Conclusion AL, LL, and PL may have different longitudinal courses. We suggest that lower extremity lymphedema patients present more favorable outcomes after CDT with respect to QOL and satisfaction than upper extremity lymphedema patients. Clinicians should approach patients with different therapeutic considerations specific to each type or region of lymphedema before using CDT in clinical practice.

        2MW급 완전공심형 초전도 전동기 설계 및 특성 비교

        The imperative of shifting the transportation sector towards environmentally sustainable electric propulsion has become unmistakable. Superconducting motors have emerged as a revolutionary solution, offering intrinsic benefits such as compactness, lightweight design, and exceptional efficiency in comparison to conventional motors. These attributes hold immense promise, particularly when harnessed in the propulsion systems of expansive maritime vessels and aviation crafts, opening up previously unattainable frontiers of power density. In this paper, a 2MW fully air-core superconducting motor was designed for electric propulsion applications. Subsequently, its characteristics were compared with those of an iron-core superconducting motor. Through the analysis of parameters such as weight, power density, and magnetic flux density, it was conclusively established that for aviation and marine propulsion systems, the more suitable motor is the fully air-core superconducting motor.

        The direct modulatory activity of zinc toward ion channels

        The divalent zinc ion is a cation that plays an indispensable role as a structural constituent of numerous proteins, including enzymes and transcription factors. Recently, it has been suggested that zinc also plays a dynamic role in extracellular and intracellular signaling as well. Ion channels are pore-forming proteins that control the flow of specific ions across the membrane, which is important to maintain ion gradients. In this review, we outline the modulatory effect of zinc on the activities of several ion channels through direct binding of zinc into histidine, cysteine, aspartate, and glutamate moieties of channel proteins. The binding of zinc to ion channels results in the activation or inhibition of the channel due to conformational changes. These novel aspects of ion-channel activity modulation by zinc provide new insights into the physiological regulation of ion channels.

        학교의 실내공기질 관리현황 및 개선방안 제언

        National concerns about air pollution are growing. The importance of indoor air quality is emerging because people live in an indoor environment more than 90% of the day. In particular, the indoor air quality of schools needs to be managed as teenagers are vulnerable to environmental pollution. The government has designated the School Health Act in order to manage indoor air quality in schools. Air purifiers have been operated to improve indoor air quality in the classroom since 2018. In this study, we performed on-site evaluations in some classrooms, and then we proposed a plan for improving the air quality in the classroom. In this study, PM10, PM2.5, and CO2 in classrooms in Chungnam were measured to analyze the effect of air cleaner supply. A portable aerosol spectrometer (PAS, model 1.109, Grimm) and CO2 meter (TES 1370, TES) were used as measuring instruments. Schools A and B exceeded the recommended standards, while school C met the standards. The ratio of PM10, PM2.5 in classrooms A and B was 0.58 and 0.5, respectively. Correlation analysis was performed between indoor and outdoor pollutants to analyze the effects of particulate pollutants present in each classroom. First, the measured concentration of fine particles was classified according to/on the basis of factors that affect/influence the internal environment of the classroom. Then, fine dust concentrations measured at the same time as AQMS were classified with regard to the external factors. The gradients for each classroom were 1.57, 1.63, and 1.54, although there were differences in concentration, but they were relatively similar. It is necessary to develop and disseminate customized air purifiers considering the activity of the occupants of classrooms. It is important to consider the areas in which s tudents breathe when installing air purifiers in the classroom. In addition, follow-up management of air purifiers is an essential element. For efficient operation and management of indoor air quality, it is necessary to develop and disseminate standard manuals for air purifiers. It is proposed that an environmental manager should be deployed in schools to manage environmental issues. Standardization of air purifiers, management guidelines for standard manuals, and field support for environmental sheriffs should be established on a legal basis.

        영아교사의 보육효능감과 자아탄력성 및 직무스트레스가 교사민감성에 미치는 영향

        This study examined the effects of ego-resilience, job stress, and efficacy of child care and teaching on sensitivity of infant teachers. Data were collected from 329 infant teachers. To collect the data, instruments such as ego-resilience, job stress, and efficacy of child care and teaching and teacher sensitivity were used. All research variables were measured using self-reported questionnaires and were analyzed with Pearson’s correlation and structural equational modeling. The results were as follows: first, infant teachers’ ego-resilience was found to affect sensitivity indirectly through job stress and efficacy of child care and teaching. Second, infant teachers’ job stress was found to affect sensitivity directly and to have a mediating effect between ego-resilience and sensitivity. Third, infant teachers’ efficacy of child care and teaching was found to affect sensitivity directly and to have a mediating effect between ego-resilience and sensitivity and between job stress and sensitivity. Additionally, efficacy of child care and teaching was to be the most important variable predicting sensitivity of infant teachers. 본 연구는 영아교사를 대상으로 자아탄력성과 직무스트레스 및 보육효능감이 교사민감성에 미치는 직·간접적 영향을 구조방정식모형(SEM) 분석을 통하여 살펴보는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 만 0세부터 2세까지의 영아를 담당하고 있는 교사 329명을 대상으로 교사민감성, 직무스트레스, 자아탄력성, 보육효능감을 측정하였으며, 수집된 자료는 Pearson의 적률상관분석과 구조방정식 모형(SEM) 분석을 통하여 분석되었다. 그 결과 영아교사의 민감성에 직무스트레스의 경우 직접적으로 부정적인 영향을, 보육효능감의 경우 직접적으로 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 영아교사의 자아탄력성이 교사민감성에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 직무스트레스와 보육효능감의 매개효과가 확인되었다. 이는 영아교사의 자아탄력성이 직무스트레스를 감소하게 하고 보육효능감은 증진하게 하여 교사민감성을 증진시킬 수 있음을 의미한다. 그리고 영아교사의 직무스트레스가 교사민감성에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 보육효능감의 매개효과가 확인되어 이는 직무스트레스는 보육효능감을 감소하게 하여 교사민감성을 감소시킴을 시사한다. 마지막으로 영아교사의 보육효능감은 가장 큰 직접효과와 인과효과가 나타나 교사민감성의 가장 중요한 선행요인이 됨을 알 수 있다.
