      • 응축방식을 이용한 담수화 시스템의 성능예측을 위한 분석연구

        본 연구에서는 태양열에 의해 증발된 해수면에서의 수증기를 응축의 원리를 이용하여 담수의 생산이 가능한 친환경 담수장치(Eco-friendly Desalination System)를 고안하고, 가능성을 판단하는데 연구의 목적을 두고 있다. 응축 열전달 공식을 이용하여 습공기의 물성변화에 따른 연간 응축수 생산량을 예측하였으며, 항온항습챔버의 실험을 통해 실제 습공기조건 변화에 따른 응축량을 측정하였다. 습공기의 이론 응축률과 실험을 통해 측정한 실제 응축률의 오차율을 산출하였으며, 오차의 원인을 분석하고 응축률 보정계수인 응축계수와 점성계수를 구하여 보정된 이론 응축률 공식에 도출하였다. 보정된 응축률 식을 이용하여 설계된 규모의 풍력터빈연간 생산 가능한 담수량을 산출한 결과 최대 연간 약 2,927톤 정도의 담수를 생산할 수 있다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. A new concept of an Eco-friendly desalination method is introduced in this study. The main idea of the desalination method of seawater is the condensation of the vaporized seawater by solar heat energy on the surface of seashore. The wind turbine blade plays a role of heat exchanger condensing the vaporized water in the air. In this analytical study, the availability of the proposed desalination system was studied. First, an analytical condensation theory of the vaporized water in air was arranged and the parametric study was conducted to estimate the amount of freshwater produced from the system with the change of the temperature difference between the humid air and turbine blade, and the relative humidity in air, and wind speed. From the analytical calculation, 2,927(ton/year) of freshwater was produced at the vertical-type wind turbine (Diameter=4m, Height=3m) as the relative humidity is 100%, the temperature difference between the impeller blade and the humid air is $40^{\circ}C$ and the wind speed is 10m/s.

        Biodegradation of Chlorpyrifos (CP) by a Newly Isolated Naxibacter sp. Strain CY6 and Its Ability to Degrade CP in Soil

        A bacterium, isolated from a vegetable field in a plastic film house and named strain CY6 was capable of biodegrading chlorpyrifos (CP). Based on the phenotypic features and the phylogenetic similarity of 16S rRNA gene sequences, strain CY6 was identified as a Naxibacter sp.. CP was utilized as the sole source of carbon and phosphorus by Naxibacter sp. CY6. We examined the role of this Naxibacter sp. in the degradation of other OP insecticides under liquid cultures. Parathion, methyl parathion, diazinon, cadusafos, and ethoprop could also be degraded by Naxibacter sp. CY6 when they are provided as the sole sources of carbon and phosphorus. Additionally, Naxibacter sp. CY6 ($10^8$ CFU/g) added to soil with CP (100 mg/kg) resulted in a higher degradation rate of approximately 90% than the rate obtained from uninoculated soils. These results highlight the potential of this bacterium to be used in the cleanup of contaminated pesticide soil. 채소 재배 비닐하우스 토양으로부터 chlorpyrifos (CP) 분해능을 지니고 있는 CY6 균주를 분리하였다. 형태학적 특징 및 16S rRNA 염기서열의 계통발생학적 유사성을 기초로 CY6 균주는 Naxibacter sp.로 확인되었다. CP는 Naxibacter sp. CY6 의해 탄소 및 인의 단일원으로 이용되었다. 우리는 액체배양에서 Naxibacter sp. CY6의 다른 OP 살충제 분해 양상을 살펴 보았다. Naxibacter sp. CY6는 parathion 및 methyl parathion, diazinon, cadusafos, ethoprop를 분해할 수 있었으며, 이 때 이들은 탄소 및 인의 단일원으로 제공되었다. 또한, CP (100 mg/kg)가 함유된 토양에 Naxibacter sp. CY6 ($10^8$ CFU/g)를 접종한 것이 접종하지 않은 토양에서 보다 약 90%의 높은 분해 정도를 나타냈었다. Naxibacter sp. CY6는 살충제가 오염된 토양의 정화에 사용할 수 있는 잠재성을 지니고 있다.

        장력법을 적용한 박판블록의 변형제어에 관한 연구

        The weld-induced deformation is more serious in thin plates than in thick plates because heat affect zone of thin plates is wider than that of thick plates and in addition internal and external constraints have much more influence upon weld-induced deformation of thin plates. This paper deals with the application of the mechanical tensioning method to butt weld of thin plates to reduce the transverse and longitudinal deformation. In order to investigate the quantitative effect of tensioning method upon the reduction of angular deformation and shrinkage in longitudinal and transverse direction of weld line, butt welding test has been carried out for several thin plate specimens with varying plate thickness and magnitude of tensile load. From the present experimental study, it has been found that the tensioning method is very effective in reducing the weld-induced residual stress as well as the weld-induced deformation.

        수화와 시안세균(Anabaena cylindrica) 생장 억제 미생물 분포도의 상관관계

        대청호의 주요 정점에서 수화의 발생 및 소멸에 따른 환경요인의 변화와 시안세균, 종속영양세균, 그리고 Anabaena cylindrica 생장억제미생물 분포도의 상관관계를 확인하였다. 수온은 온대지역 수계에서 확인할 수 있는 전형적인 변화 양상을 나타내었다. pH와 용존산소량, 클로로필 a는 수화 발생기에 높고, 수화의 소멸과 함께 그 농도가 낮아졌다. 조사정점에서는 인이 1차 생산력의 제한요인으로 작용하며, 수화발생기에는 수중생물에 의해 질소고정이 이루어짐으로써 총질소의 농도가 상승하였다. 조사정점에서 시안세균은 6월 17일부터 분포하기 시작하여 11월 10일까지 Anabaena sp., Aphanizomenon spp., Microcystis spp., Oscillatoria spp., Phormidium spp. 등이 관찰되었다. Anabaena spp.는 7월 23일부터 9월 22일까지 비교적 높은 분포도를 보였고, 9월 29일 이후에는 완전히 소멸하였다. 수화발생기에 종속영양세균과 시안세균 군집은 서로 반비례적으로 변화하였다. Anabaena spp.의 개체군이 증가 또는 사멸하는 시기에 A. cylindrica 생장억제미생물의 분포도가 높았고, A. cylindrica 생장억제미생물 개체수가 감소하면서 종속영양세균의 개체수가 증가함으로써 세가지 생물군의 군집 사이에는 일정한 연관성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 결과는 자연수계 분포하는 미생물은 시안세균의 생장 조절자 역할을 하며, 특히 수화의 소멸 과정에는 이들 미생물이 지대한 역할을 한다는 사실을 의미한다. The authors examined the variations of environmental factors, the distributions of cyanobacteria, heterotrophic bacteria, and microorganisms that inhibit the growth of Anabaena cylindrica according to development and extinction of cyanobacterial bloom at a site in Daechung Dam reservoir. And certified the relationship between each other. Water temperature variated in a typical pattern. pH and concentrations of dissolved oxygen and chlorophylla was high in bloom period, and lowered with the decline of bloom. Phosphorus played as a growth-limiting factor at this study site. Total nitrogen concentration increased during blooming period, which indicated that nitrogen has been fixed by aquatic organisms such as cyanobacteria. Cyanobacteria distributed from June 17, and such cyanobacterial species as Anabaena spp., Aphanizomenon spp., Microcystis spp., Oscillatoria spp. and Phormidium spp. was detected during study period. Anabaena spp. distributed relatively highly distributed from July 23 to September 22, and disappeared completely at September 29. Heterotrophic bacterial and cyanobacterial populations varied inverse-proportionally. There was a relevancy between the variations of Anabaena spp., heterotrophic bacteria, and microorganisms that inhibit the growth of Anabaena cylindrica. Microorganisms that inhibit the growth of Anabaena cylindrica distributed from early growth phase of Anabaena spp. population to immediately after the extinction of Anabaena spp. With the population of Anabaena cylindrica growth-inhibiting microorganisms decreasing, increases of heterotrophic bacterial population followed it. Thease results indicate that microorganisms have a part in the extinction of cyanobacterial bloom, especially at its destroying period.

        흡착입자간 상호작용에 따른 흡착등온선 패턴

        We study and describe-from the point of view of the interactions of the adsorbed particles-three types of the adsorption isotherms, namely, Langmuir type adsorption isotherms, phase transition type adsorption isotherms, and adsorption limited type adsorption isotherms, which are observed by experiments. By introducing and using a one dimensional statistical occupancy model, we derived analytical adsorption isotherms for the no force, the attractive force, and the repulsive force exerted on the other adsorbed particles. Our derived adsorption isotherms qualitatively pretty well agree with the experimental results of the adsorption isotherms. To specify each adsorption type, Langmuir type adsorption is a phenomenon that occurs with no forces between the adsorbed particles, phase transition type adsorption is a phenomenon that occurs with the strong attractive forces between the adsorbed particles, and adsorption limited type adsorption is a phenomenon that occurs with the repulsive forces between the adsorbed particles. The theoretical analysis-only using fundamental thermodynamics and occupancy statistics though-qualitatively quite well explains the experimental results.

        Spontaneous rupture of the pulmonary alveoli after a sudden increase intra-alveolar pressure is a common cause of pneumomediastinum, which is usually seen in healthy young men. Other common causes are traumatic and iatrogenic rupture of the airway and esophagus; however, pneumomediastinum following cervicofacial emphysema is much rarer and is occasionally found after dental surgical procedures, head and neck surgery, or accidental trauma. We present two cases of pneumomediastinum following cervicofacial subcutaneous emphysema after oral trauma. They constitute an uncommon clinical entity, So its radiologic appearance, clinical presentation, and diagnosis are described.

      • 유기질비료 시용이 무의 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        유기질비료 시용이 봄 및 가을 작형에서 무 품종의 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 본실험을 실시한 바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 무의 엽장, 엽중, 근장, 근경, 근중등 생육은 봄, 가을작형 모두에서 3요소, 발효계분 + 1/5 량NK추비, 발효계분, 계분, 무처리구 순으로 촉진하는 경향이었으며, 엽의 chlorophyll 함량과 질소함량도 생육에서와 같은 처리순으로 증가하였다.2) 봄 및 가을작형의 수량에 있어 발효계분 450kg 처리구는 3요소구에 비해 저하되는 경향이었으나 전국평균 수량을 상회하였다.3) 발효계분처리로 4회연속재배한 경우보다 1회재배한 경우보다 3요소처리구와의 무 생육차가 감소하였다.4) 무 재배후 토양의 질소 및 마그네슘함량은 처리간 비슷한 경향이었으며 pH, 유기물함량과 인산 및 칼슘함량은 3요소구에 비해 발효계분에서 높은 경향이었다. The experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of organic fertilizer. Sarang of fermented poultry manure. Miwon glutamic acid fertilizer and poultry manure, on the growth and yield of radish cultivated in spring and autumn. 1) The growth of leaf length, leaf weight, root length, root diameter and root weight of radish in two culture types was stimulated in order of NPK, fermented poultry manure + 1/5NK, fermented poultry manure, poultry manure and control treatment, and chlorophyll and nitrogen content of leaf were increased in order of the above mentioned fertilizers.2) Yield decreased in fermented poultry manure plot of 450kg application comparison with NPK plot but the one of 1800kg fermented poultry manure was increased. The yield of 450kg Sarang plot was sufficient as compared with Korean average yield of spring and autumn culture.3) The difference of growth of radish between treatments of fermented poultry manure and NPK was lowered by continuous application of Sarang organic fertilizer.4) Soil nitrogen content and exchangeable Mg were similar in all treatments but soil pH, the contents of organic matter, $P_2 O_5$ and Ca were high in the fermented poultry manure treatment.

        개에서의 indocyanine green 배설시험 및 혈장효소 활성치의 변화

        This experiment was carried out to establish a proper method of indocyanine green(ICG) excretion test for a applicable liver function test in dogs. The half life(T1/2), fractional clearance rate(KICG) and retention rate after injection of ICG with or without administred carbon tetrachloride($CCl_4$) were also invested. The results obtained were as follows ; 1. The maximum absorbance of ICG in plasma was at 810nm. 2. Half life and fractional clearance rate when administered 0.25 and 0.50mg of ICG per Kilogram body weight were $6.33{\pm}0.58$ minutes and $0.11{\pm}0.99$/minute in the former, $10.01{\pm}1.0$ minutes and $0.07{\pm}0.007$/minute in the latter, respectively. The ICG removal rate was exponentially linear for the first 15 minutes after injection both, of 0.25 and 0.50mg of ICG. 3. One day following the administration of $0.0042m{\ell}\;CCl_4$ kilogram body weight which injected 0.50mg of ICG, half life was more longer and fractional clearance rate was significantly reduced than that of ICG single injection. 4. Plasma retention rate when 15, 30, 45 minutes after injection dose of 0.25 and 0.50mg ICG per Kilogram body weight, $14.7{\pm}4.8$, $5.1{\pm}3.1$, $2.6{\pm}1.6%$ in the former, $26.9{\pm}1.8$, $11.1{\pm}2.4$, $4.8{\pm}1.3%$ in the latter, respectively. However, after administration of $CCl_4$, plasma retention rate of ICG at a dose of 0.50mg, it was $39.3{\pm}0.9$, $16{\pm}2.9$, $10.7{\pm}0.1%$, respectively. 5. Plasma enzyme(AST, ALT, r-GTP) activities administered with $CCl_4$ were increased, but there was no change which injected any dose of single ICG injection. From these results, ICG excretion test to dog is applicable to evaluation of liver function in both clinical and research.

        초전도 결정의 저온 비열 점프의 자기장 의존성

        Specific heat of a crystal is the sum of electronic specific heat, which is the specific heat of conduction electrons, and lattice specific heat, which is the specific heat of the lattice. Since properties such as crystal structure and Debye temperature do not change even in the superconducting state, the lattice specific heat may remain unchanged between the normal and the superconducting state. The difference of specific heat between the normal and superconducting state may be caused only by the electronic specific heat difference between the normal and superconducting states. Critical temperature, at which transition occurs, becomes lower than $T_{c0}$ under the influence of a magnetic field. It is well known that specific heat also changes abruptly at this critical temperature, but magnetic field dependence of jump of specific heat has not yet been developed theoretically. In this paper, specific heat jump of superconducting crystals at low temperature is derived as an explicit function of applied magnetic field H by using the thermodynamic relations of A. C. Rose-Innes and E. H. Rhoderick. The derived specific heat jump is compared with experimental data for superconducting crystals of $MgCNi_3$, $LiTi_2O_4$ and $Nd_{0.5}Ca_{0.5}MnO_3$. Our specific heat jump function well explains the jump up or down phenomena of superconducting crystals.
