수막종의 Flow Cytometry 및 Nucleolar Organizer Regions(NORs)에 관한 비교연구

The flow cytometric DNA analysis and the Ag-NORs staining method have been reported to reflect the cellular activities and the proliferative rates of the normal and the neoplastic cells. Currently, these methods have attracted many interests from clinical fields in evaluating the patient regarding on the prognosis and the responsiveness to therapy of human tumors. The author analyzed thirty eight meningiomas(meningothelial 5, transitional 7, fibrous 5, psammomatous 2, atypical 11, hemangiopericytic 6 and hemangoblastic 2 cases) using flow cytometry and Ag-NORs staining in the paraffin embedded tissues. The results are summarized as follows : 1. In flow cytometric study, twenty eight cases were diploid and the remaining 10 cases were aneuploid. The latter included meningothelial 3, atypical 3, hemangiopericytic 2 and hemangioblastic 2 cases. 2. In Ag-NORs study, the mean mumber of Ag-NORs had a significant difference between classical types(1.46±O.21) and atypical meningiomas(1.88±0.36) including hemangiopericytic one(1.74±0.38) (P<0.05). 3. The cytometric S phase, G_(0)/G₁ phase and proliferation index and the mean number of Ag-NORs had a significant difference between classical diploid and atypical diploid meningiomas(P<0.005). 4. There was no significant relationship between cytometric S phase and the mean number of Ag-NORs in classical meningiomas.

The posterior fossa arterivenous malformation(AVM) is uncommon and different from other intracranial AVM in its natural history, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and other features. The authors present 3 cases of posterior fossa AVM. A 26 year old woman with supravermian AVM and a 17 year old woman with right cerebrllopontine angle AVM were treated with surgical removal in good result. And another was occured in the pons of 20 year old woman, that was treated with intersecting beam radiation of 5040 rads in cummulative dosage.

The authors present a case of germinoma in corpus callosum extending to the both frontal lobes with cystic change, in a 27-year-old male. Bilaterallity and cystic change simulated a cystic astrocytoma or a butterfly glioblastoma. The interest in this case is due to the unusual location and the nature of the tumor.

본 논문은 잔류 측대파(vestigial sideband; VSB) 변조를 이용한 CATV 및 HDTV에서 주파수 및 위상 동기 루프 (frequency & phase lock loop; FPLL)의 완전 디지털 구현을 위한 알고리듬과 하드웨어 구조를 제안한다. 미국의 대연합(Grand-Alliance)에서 제안된 VSB 변조를 위한 CATV 및 HDTV 수신기는 아날로그 신호처리를 통하여 반송파 복구를 수행한다. 그러므로 향후 단열 칩 ASIC 개발에 상당한 부담을 주는 구조이다. 본 논문에서는 VSB 변조 방식의 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 수신된 신호를 기저 대역 근처의 IF 신호로 떨어뜨린 후 아날로그-디지털(AD) 변환을 통하여 모든 신호처리를 디지털 영역에서 할 수 있는 FPLL 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 주파수 풀-인(pull-in) 영역이 -200KHz- +250KHz 정도의 우수한 성능을 보여준다. 그리고 위상 잡음의 영향을 최소화 하면서 빠른 포착 성능을 유지하기 위하여 루프 필터의 대역폭을 적응적으로 가변하는 특징을 가진다. In this paper, we propose a full digital frequency and phase locked loop for CATV and HDTV receivers adopting VSB modulation. The CATV and HDTV receivers proposed by the Grand-Alliance in USA are ultilizing analog signal processing technology for carrier recovery. By the way, it is not a good architecture for the development of single chip ASIC operating in digital domain. To solve this problem while improving the performance, we first down convert the received r.f. signal to a near baseband signal for a low-rate AD converter and then we use digital signal processing techniques. The proposed system has the frequency pull-in range of -200 KHz +2.50 KHz. Moreover, it has the ability of adaptive loop bandwidth control according to the amount of frequency offset to improve the acquisition time while reducing the phase noise.
