        The configurations of filter bed is important factor in existing water treatment plant because of water purification and operating cost. Therefore this paper proposed the headloss equation abtained from this experiment using the tracer study in filter. Some of results are as follow. 1. The headloss correction coefficient(f)is proposed in order to apply it for the clogging filter media. It is given by next equation. h/h_(0)=1.14exp(-7.42σ)(1-ε_(0)+σ/1-ε_(0))²(ε_(0)/(ε_(0)-σ))³ 2. Most of turbidity materials were captured within 5㎝ from the top of the 0.6㎜ size media on the other hand the removal efficiency of the media which was larger than 1.35㎜ was distributed throughout the bed.

      • 적조예방을 위한 ASA시스템의 도입 가능성에 관한 연구

        To prevent from algal-bloom and red tide outbreak this study was focussed on Biological Nutrient Removal using the novel BNR system, Advanced Step Aeration(ASA) system, which could cope with not only a low level of municipal wastewater but also a high strength of apartment wastewater. Nutrient removals through ASA system were considerably excelent: at influent levels of T-N 40~80mg/l, T-P 4.0~8.0mg/l, respectively, removal efficiencies for T-N and T-P are 70~85% and 90% and effluent level for T-N and T-P are 10~15mg/l and 0.4~0.6mg/l. On the basis of 13℃, nitrification rate(KN) in aerobic tank was calculated to be 0.892 mgN/gMLSSㆍhr. Denitrification rate(KDN) according to C/N ratio from 3.68 to 4.3 and temperature from 13 to 18 ℃ was linearly increased and presented to be from 0.64 to 0.95 mgN/gMLSS ㆍhr. Step-feeding raw wastewater to anaerobic and anoxic tank and using raw wastewater as external carbon source have brought about the improvement of denitrification capacity. Anoxic sludge tank minimized the nitrite and nitrate inhibition in the return activated sludge and maximized phosphorus release through the stable DO control.

      • 하이브리드형 신경망을 이용한 데이터 마이닝의 최적화 기법

        최근 데이터 베이스에서 가치있는 정보를 찾아내기 위한 데이터 마이닝 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있으며, 그 기법으로는 신경망 모델을 사용하는 방법이 많은 연구성과를 거두고 있다. 현재 사용되고 있는 신경망 모델의 문제점은 감독 학습 방법의 경우 목적 패턴의 오류로 유도될 수 있는 오버피팅 문제가 발생하고, 무감독 학습 방법의 경우는 데이터의 정규화 과정으로 인하여 중요한 정보가 왜곡될 수 있어서 만족할 만한 군집화나 분류 효과를 거두지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 문제점들을 해결하기 위해, 하이브리드형 신경망을 제안한다. 실험결과 본 신경망은 어떠한 입력 패턴에 대해 목적 패턴을 만들 수 없거나, 존재하지 않는 경우에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. Recently, people have been studying on data mining to find out more valuable information in data bases. There have many good results of studying on the ways to use Neural Network Model. Now, some problems like overfitting are on the rise. Overfitting means that supervised learning methods lead to the error of target patterns. Besides, unsupervised learning methods cause the problem to distort some important information through the process of regularizing data. So we can't expect the satisfying results of clustering and classification. To solve the problems, the paper suggests a hybrid neural networks. According to experiments, the neural networks can be effectively put into use in cases of not being able to make target patterns with some input patterns or non-existing patterns.

      • 오존을 이용한 하수2차 처리수의 처리 및 슬러지 감량화에 관한 연구

        Nowadays, most of water source is deteriorating due to depending on surface water more than 90%. New disinfection facilities are urgent because a provision of total coliforms was made newly and have gone into effect since in January 2003 for securing of water source. And waste sludge treatments is an outstanding environment question because of several reasons such as increases of waste sludge, high cost of waste sludge treatment and prohibition of sludge treatment method having been utilized. In this study, specific characteristics of ozone treatment for wastewater effluent and volume reduction of waste sludge were studied with pilot-plant. The results of the study are followed: A removal efficiencies of total-coliforms with ozone dose change of 1.6, 2.6, 3.5, 4.5gO3/m3Water were 73.7, 88.1, 95.6, 97.2% .respectively. And MLSS reduction rate of waste sludge with ozone dose change of 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8gO3/gSS were 38.0, 50.0, 57.9, 62.0%.respectively. CODMn removal efficiency of that was 50.5, 65.0, 76.6, 82.1% respectively and SV30 reduced 92.6% even if ozone dose was 0.2gO3/gSS. Therefore, it is found that ozone treatment is very effective for sludge volume reduction and solidㆍliquid separation.

        전기경련치료(ECT)시 뇌파의 비선형 분석 : 단일증례 연구 A Single Case Study

        연구목적 : 비선형 분석을 통해 전기경련 치료(ECT)의 적절성 및 효과를 판정할 수 있는 새로운 변인을 추출해 낼 가능성을 탐색하기 위하여 한 여성 우울증 환자에서 ECT중 기록한 뇌파의 단일증례 분석을 하였다. 방 법 : 1주일 간격을 둔 두 ECT 회기에서 치료전 안정상태, 마취후-경련전상태, 경련상태, 경련후 뇌파억제상태, 치료후 안정상태의 다섯 상태에 따른 뇌파를 디지털 기록한 데이터를 분석하였다. 결 과 : 분석의 결과 1) 뇌파가 10차원 이하 저차원의 결정론적 성질을 가지고있으며 2) 뇌파는 비정상적(non-stationary)이지만 비선형 지수들이 각 상태 뇌파를 안정적으로 구분해 줄 수 있고 3) ECT 회기의 진행에 따라 경련중 뇌파의 결정론적 성질이 증가하며 4) ECT 회기의 진행에 따라 치료전후 안정상태 뇌파의 최대발산지수(PLE) 및 상관차원이 증가한다는 사실을 관찰할 수 있었다. 결 론 : 단일증례에 대한 다양한 비선형 분석의 결과는 ECT의 치료효과를 정량화할 수 있는 변인으로서 PLE, 상관차원 등 비선형 변수들이 사용될 수 있을 가능성을 제시한다. Objectives : In order to search for new parameters for the evaluation of the adequacy of electroconvulsive therapy(ECT), the authors performed a non-linear analysis of electroencephalogram(EEG) recorded during the course of electroconvulsive therapy(ECT) in a single female patient with depression. Methods : Digitized EEG recordings from two ECT sessions spaced one week were analyzed at five different stages ; pretreatment stable, postanesthetic-preictal, ictal, postical suppression and posttreatment stable stages. Results : Our analysis showed that 1) EEG signals had low dimensional(below 10 dimensions) deterministic characteristics 2) although EEG was nonstationary signal, non-linear parameters could reliably differentiate between various stages we examined. 3) the deterministic property of ictal EEG increased according to the progression of sessions and 4) the primary Lyapunov exponent(PLE) and correlation dimension of pre- and post-treatment stable stage EEG increased according to the progression of sessions. Conclusion : In this single case study, results of various non-linear analyses suggested that non-linear variables extracted from EEG recordings during ECT may have utilities as tools for the quantitative evaluation of ECT.

There was three groups in Bangyakhabpyun(方藥合編)-Sangtong(上統), Joongtong(中統), Hatong(下統)- and written by 467 prescription. In order to study herbalogy or supply the drugs in clinical field, classify drug frequency of its prescriptions.         백서에 있어서 incision 중지가 하악두 연골의 성장 및 미세구조에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of loss of incisal function on the thickness, growth activities, ultrastructure of the condylar cartilage and on the muscle fibers of masseter superficialis, anterior belly of digastric muscle in the growing rats. 37 day-old-rats of which incisors had been trimmed every day received soft diet from weaning and were studied by the autoradiography, electron microscopy and muscle histochemistry. The results obtained were as follows ; The thickness of the fibrous, proliferative layer in superior, posterosuperior portion of the condylar cartilage was significantly(p<0.01) reduced in experimental groups and the decrease rate of fibrous layer thickness was greater in posterosuperior portion than in superior portion of cartilge and was greater than in proliferative layer. In normal group, more cells of posterosuperior portion moved more rapidly towards the medullary cavity. In experimental group, the labelling index of posterosuperior portion was decreased in proliferative layer at 2 hours, in transitional layer at 1, 2 days, in hypertrophic layer at 4 days after injection relative to posterosuperior portion of control group. But labelling index of superior portion was not different form that of control group at all time course after injection. From the muscle histochemistry, the diameter of type IIB fibers in masseter superficialis muscle, type ⅡA, type IIB fibers in anterior belly of digastric muscle decreased significantly(p<0.01) relative to controls in experimental group. From electron microscopic study, in the fibrous layer of the posterosuperior portion of condylar cartilage in normal group, many fibroblast like cells near the joint cavity showed extensive remodelling activities in ultrastructure. There was no morphological changes between experimental and control group in all cartilage cell layers of superior portion but cells near the joint cavity in fibrous layer of posterosuperior portion of experimental group showed morphologically inactive state relative to control group.
