        카프로락탐 급성폭로에 의한 경련 증례

        Two young men were seen with nausea, vomiting, dermatitis, seizure after two-four days of occupational exposure to caprolactam, a nylon fiber precursor. There were no significant results in laboratory test, brain CT, FEG except leukocytosis, hyperglycemia. Caprolactam has been shown to induce convulsive disorder in experimental animal studies and Tuma et al(1981) described that one worker acutely exposed to caprolactam developed generalized tonic-clonic seizure with leukocytosis. The coincidence of typical skin lesion with otherwise unexplained generalized tonic-clonic seizure in those young men strongly suggests that caprolactam was causal agent.

      • 방사선 조사에 의한 HL-60 세포의 아포프토시스

        The research for mechanism of cell death has been recently focused on induction of programmed cell death(apoptosis), which is contrastingly different from necrosis in the point of that the active cellular participation is required for the process of cell death. The radiation-induced cell death hag been well known and already broadly applied for the treatment of cancers. However, the disadvantage of irradiation resulting in the nonspecific cellular damages limits its use. To overcome this problem, it is required to use the lower level of irradiation to the cancer cells under condition that the compensatory mode of treatment is combined. In the present experiment, we tried to elucidate the mode of radiation-induced cell death. To investigate the cellular changes, caused by irradiation, we have monitored a several of factors after radiation exposure in HL-60 cells. For the study of the mechanism of apoptosis mediated by irradiation, we evaluated DNA ladder pattern, DNA fragmentation index, and morphological changes in HL-60 cells. And also it was determined the efficient way to modulate the apoptosis using chemical and biological materials. We performed MTT test to assess cytotoxicity dependent in this study. We also studied time dose responses of chemicals based upon the results of IC_50 values. The apoptosis caused by irradiation usually induced ranged from IGy to 40Gy. It has been demonstrated that HL-60 cells exhibited DNA ladder pattern at 3 hours after irradiation of 15Gy. The morphological feature of apoptosis was also observed by immunohistochemical studies. The extent of DNA fragmentation, which is an index of apoptosis, was decreased by addition of dehydroepiandrosterone(DHEA) or aspartate to the irradiated in HL-60 cells. These results indicate that DHEA, a steroid, has some protective effect against DNA damaging agents and aspartate has exerted its action as a metabolic oxygen free-radicals scavenger of induced by irradiation. From these results, it can be concluded that irradiationinduced cellular apoptosis of HL-60 cells might be modulated by the status of modulated hormonally or metabolically.

        스트레스 측정 도구로서의 Hemoglobin AHemoglobin A₁c 유용성 평가

        To assess the possibility and usefulness of glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA₁c) as a screening tool for measuring stress; single-item for stress, BEPSI(Brief Encounter Psychosocial Instrument), PWI(Psychosocial Wellbeing-Index), FBS(Fasting Blood Sugar) and other demographic variables were assessed in 89 healthy male workers at periodic health examination. HbA₁c was not correlated with any kind of stress scores used in this study, but correlated with age(r=0.226). The single-item for stress, BEPSI, PWI were correlated each other(p<0.05). This result suggests well-organized brief questionnaire for stress might be enough to evaluate the stress level of workers in periodic health examination.

      • 대장암조직에서 아포토시스 검출 방법에 관한 연구

        1989년 1월부터 1992년 12월 사이에 대장암으로 근치적 절제술을 시행받은후 추적조사가 가능한 45명의 환자를 대상 대장암조직의 Hematoxylin-Eosin염색을 통하여 apoptotic body를 광학 현미경하에서 400배율 하에서 관찰하여 암세포 100개당 평균개수를 세었으며 TUNEL 방법을 이용하여 면화학적염색을 통하여 염색정도를 판정을하여 대장암에서 아포토시스의 정도를 판정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. Dukes병기 A 일 때 apoptotic body가 평균 1.93개, B 일 때 2.66개, C 인 경우 2.76개 였으며 분화도에 따라서는 고분화암인 경우 2.51개, 중등도분화암인 경우는 3.01개, 저분화암인 경우는 2.15개였다. 5년내 사망한 환자에서는 3.55개 였으며 5년이상 생존한 환자에서는 2.8개였다. 형태학적으로 apoptotic body의 수를 세어 아포토시스를 측정하여 예후예측인자로 사용할 수 있으리라 사료되며 아포토시스와 p53의 발현과의 관계를 보았을 때 특별한 상관관계를 발견 할 수 없어 bcl-2의 발현과 더불어 아토토시스와의 관게에 대하여 좀더 연구가 되어야 하겠다. Objectives : Apoptosis is a specific mode of cell death recognized by a characteristic pattern of morphological, biochemical, and molecular changes, There are several methods of detection of apoptosis. Morphological changes involve a characteristic pattern of chromation and cytoplasm. The landmark of apoptosis is endonucleolysis, with nuclear DNA initially degraded at the linker sections to fragments equivalent to single and multiple nucleosomes. Detection of DNA fragments is situ using the terminal deoxyribonucleotidyl transferase(TDT)-mediated dUTP-digoxigenin nick end labeling (TUNEL) assay is increasingly applied to investigate apoptosis. We studied the detection method of apoptosis morphologically and by using TUNEL assay and examined the correlation of p53 expression and apoptosis. Methods : Forty-five cases of colorectal cancer were selected. The number of apoptotic bodies was expressed as a number per 100 cancer cells. The TUNEL assay was performed with in situ Apoptag kit®. Results : The mean number of the apoptotic bodies was 2.28 in the patients who survived over 5 years after curative resection and 3.55 in the patients who died within 5 years(p=0.001). There was a relationship between the number of apoptotic bodies which were measured by morphologic study and the results which were measured by TUNEL assay. There was no relationship between p53 expression and apoptosis. Conclusion : These results suggest that the frequency of apoptotic bodies may be a prognostic factor for colorectal cancer and apoptosis could be measured by morphological study without special study.

      • 이산형 판별분석하의 새로운 변수선택기준에 관한 연구

        A new variables selection criterion for two-group discriminant analysis is derived under full multinomial model. It is obtained by use of Havrada-Charvat measure of directed divergence. The criterion is named as Havrada-Charvat divergence measure statistic, and it is shown that the criterion is approximately distributed as a central Chi-square distribution. Unlike others, the suggested criterion has a merit that it serves not only as a variables selection criterion but also as a criterion for conditional discriminant analysis. This is demonstrated by use of an empirical data set.

      • 황화 Ni-Mo/γ-Al₂O₃ 촉매상에서 1-Hexene의 수소화반응에 관한 Thiophene의 영향

        The effect of thiophene on hydrogenation of 1-hexene over sulfided NiMo/γ-Al2O3 catalyst was studied in a fixed bed continuous flow reactor. The ranges of experimental conditions were at the temperatures between 200 and 350℃, the atmospheric pressure, the concentrations of thiophene between 0 and 0.04 mol% and the contact times between 0.04 and 0.1 g cat.h/mL. The hydrogenation increased with increasing temperature but isomerization decreased with increasing temperature. Total conversion and hydrogenation decreased with increasing concentration of thiophene but isomerization increased with increasing concentration of thiophene. The reaction order of 1-hexene was pseudo first with respect to 1-hexene and the activation energy for 1-hexene was found to be 8.8 kJ/mol over sulfided NiMo/γ-Al2O3 catalyst by Arrhenius plot.

        유아의 사회성 발달을 위한 극적 춤놀이의 교육적 가치

        본 연구는 유아의 신체적 발달과 창의적 정서표현능력의 발달을 가져올 수 있는 극적 춤놀이를 기초로 유아의 사회성을 발달시킬 수 있는 교육적 가치를 규명하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 유아는 다른 유아와 함께 극적 춤놀이를 함으로써 개인적으로 또래집단과 어울리면서 자기중심적인 사고방식에서 탈피하여 탈자아를 형성하는 계기를 만들게 되고 자신과 타인을 구별함으로서 진정한 자아가 형성되며 나아가서는 사회성까지 발달시킬 수 있다. 그러므로 다양하고 풍부한 극적 춤놀이의 제공은 유아에게 건전한 사회적 성장발달을 촉진시키고, 사회적 적응력을 배양하는데 중요한 역할을 하게 된다. 따라서 유아의 사회성 발달을 위한 극적 춤놀이의 교육적 가치를 규명한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 극적 춤놀이는 유아의 문제해결력과 사회적 기술을 길러준다. 둘째, 극적 춤놀이는 유아로 하여금 규칙을 준수하게 한다. 셋째, 극적 춤놀이는 유아의 사회적 관계의 이해를 돕는다. 넷째, 극적 춤놀이는 유아로 하여금 타인의 관점을 이해하게 한다. 다섯째, 극적 춤놀이는 유아의 긍정적 상호 작용과 협동심을 증가시킨다. 여섯째, 극적 춤놀이는 유아로 하여금 다양한 상황에 접근하는 융통성을 학습하게 한다. This study is the theoretical study of early childhood sociality development through the style of dramatic play with dance of children. It is most effective method to develop children`s sociality, at a point of view dance as children`s play. Because, until now, there is no study to develop children`s sociality in the field of dance education, the necessary of this study is brought. Therefore, this study suggests following contents as concrete concept to develop children`s sociality in dramatic style dance. First, the children`s dance of dramatic style enables children to improves social skill and solve the problem by themselves. Second, it makes them to observe the rules. Third, it helps them to understand their social relationship. Fourth, it has them to consider other`s viewpoint. Fifth, it inspires children`s interaction and cooperation positively. At last, children learn flexibility of variable situations.

      • 민속무용 관노가면놀이의 수업모형 연구

        In the course of study in 1981, the masked dance was adopted for the first time. But it is still difficult to give a practical class of it because the composition of contents is neither systematic nor substantial. So I materialized the contents of each unit to develop an effective form of class on the basic of kang-won do's masked dance. The government slaves mask dance is one of local masked dances handed down in yongdong area and designated as the 13th important intangible cultural property. It plays every tano festival in Namdaechon. This mask dance would leave nothing to be desired to accomplish educational purpose, if it is applied to teaching material of Korean traditional dance in unit of dance. In this study First, I considered not only the background and plot of the government slaves mask dance but also the history and kinds of Korean traditional masked dance to develop contents of study. second, I illustrated motions of government slaves mask dance in graphic form by picture, so the contents of class could be suitable for highschool's level Third, I suggested the various forms of class concerned with Korea traditional dance used basic motions of the government slaves mask dance. In my opinion, collecting basis materials for class based on the folk art which has local cdor and developing courses of study have to be activated.

        Inductively Coupled Plasma를 이용한 사과주스 중의 무기성분 분석

        사과주스 중의 Ca, P, Mg, Na, K의 함량을 ICP를 이용하여 측정하였다. 무기질 함량은 Ca 19∼311ppm, K 231∼1,441ppm, Mg 6∼46ppm, Na 19∼115ppm 그리고 P 19∼304ppm이었다. 그리고 Na/K함량비는 모델주스의 경우 Na/K 비율이 0.02로 일정한 값을 나타내고 있지만 시판 사과주스는 0.06∼0.37을 나타내고 있다. 무기질이 강화된 시판주스는 P와 Ca함량이 매우 높았으며 30% 시판주스는 Na/K 비율이 매우 높았다. The mineral contents were analyzed for apple juices by Inductively Coupled Plasma. The Mg contents of tested commercial apple juices ranged 6.27∼32.91ppm, Ca 15.95∼311.76ppm, K 231.13∼1148.02ppm, Na 39.82∼115.68ppm, and P 19.27∼304.02ppm. The mineral contents of model apple juice were Mg 29.83∼46.56ppm, Ca 16.98∼30.98ppm, K 814.28∼1,256.70ppm, Na 19.88∼26.85ppm, and P 25.88∼54.71ppm, respectively. Comparing mineral contents of model apple juices and commercial apple juice, Na, Ca and P contents of commercial apple juices were higher but Mg, K contents were lower than that of model apple juices. Among the mineral content of apple juices, K was the major element.
