We report a case in which a right mandibular incisor was impacted beneath an odontoma in the anterior mandible. An odontoma at the symphyseal region was removed under general anesthesia, and bone was grafted. Tooth #41, which was beneath the lesion, was extracted and transplanted to its original site. It was splinted with resin for 2 weeks and was checked at intervals during that time. After 4 months, it was filled endodontically with calcium hydroxide.

Turning에서 正ㆍ負의 Rake Angle 이 切削抵抗에 미치는 影響

This study was observed experimentally on the cutting resistance and cutting ration in turning when the positive and negative rake angle was under the same working condition, and concluded as follows ; 1) When the cutting depth was 1 mm, under the condition of positive and negative rake angles, vertical componet of cutting resistance (P_c) was almost same, but when the cutting depth was 1.5 mm, negative rake angle was increased 10%. 2) In case of the positive rake angle, radial componet of cutting resistance (P_r) was constant regardless of cutting depth, but P_r was larger 50% in the negative rake angle than positive rake angle and increased with increasing the cutting depth. 3) With increasing the cutting speed, 3 componet of cutting resistance was dropped in the positive rake angle than in the negative rake angle. 4) Cutting ration (γ_c) was decreased with increasing cutting feed, but cutting resistance was increased by the influence of shearing area ; cutting ratio and cutting resistance was inversely proportioned.

The separation and extraction of copper from waste water solutions by the liquid surfactant membrane process using LM84 as an extractant and Span 80 as a surfactant were investigated . In extraction, the extraction rate of copper was greatly accelerated by the presence of sodium acetate and with the increase of pH in the aqueous feed solution. The optimum concentrations of LIX84 and Span 80 in the membrane phase were 7-10 vol. % and 2.5-3vol. %, respectively. Experiments also showed that the concentration ratio of copper was greatly enhanced with the decrease of the ratio of V_(e) and V_(w) and with the decreasing of A/O ratio. After the extraction process, the concentration of copper in the raffinate solution reduced to 1-2 ppm, and the concentration of copper in the internal aqueous solution increased to 20 gll. This paper discusses the design of an addressing ciruitry in the memory system for an array processor which allows parallel, conflict-free access to various slices of data(e. g., rows, columns, diagonals, etc.) This design is based on the "relative address calculation method" proposed in〔13〕and extends the treatment in〔13〕in respect of the kinds of available array slices without access confict and displacement among the elements in a given array slice for array processing.

For Web server implementations, there are 4 main schemes: process-per-request (PPR), thread-per-request (TPR), worker thread pool (WTP), and worker thread pool with buffers (WTPB). This paper compares performance of the schemes in response time point of view. WTPB shows the best performance. The appropriate number of worker threads for WTPB depends on the request service time. For short requests, the number can be very small. But for longer requests, it is about 1/6 of the number of simultaneous connections.
住岩댐 建設에 따른 寶城郡 地域의 生態系 變化 硏究 : 生活環境을 中心으로 Based on the Life Environment

In order to study on the change of ecosystem after the construction of Juam dam in Posung-gun, life environment was investigated the soil and water pollution and the physical component of refuse from May 1992 to 1993. The pH of soil was about 6.06. The water quality of the past and that of the present in the upper stream of Posung reservior were all 2nd grade in water quality criteria, and the present trophic state of Posung reservior was eutrophic. The loading of BOD, SS, T-N and T-P due to the pont and the nonpoint source were about 16t/day, 58t/day, 3.5t/day and 1.3t/day, respectively. The compositions of the moisture content, the combustible component and the ignition residue in refuse were 49%, 40% and 12% in annual average, respectively, and the compositions of the combustible and the noncombustible in physical components of refuse were 81% and 19%, respectively.

The pore sizes of MCM-41 and KIT-1 mesoporous materials could be controlled by the addition of 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene as a complementary chemical or the use of templates with different chain lengths such as ?? and ??. The synthesized mesoporous materials are characterized from X-ray diffraction patterns and N₂adsorption isotherms. With the addition of 1,3,5,-trimethylbenzene, the pore size of synthesized, mesoporous material increased, while the pore size distribution became broad. On the other hand, the mesoporous material synthesized using a template with a larger carbon chain such as ?? showed larger pore size with a narrow distribution.
