Composite action can be achieved by providing shear connectors between steel top flange and concrete topping. Composite sections have larger stiffness than the summation of the individual stiffness of slab and beam, therefore, can carry larger load or similar loads with appreciably smaller deflection and are less prone to transient vibration. T-type Steel Composite beam(TSC-beam) is developed and tested. The test results of TSC beam are compared with the theoretical results based on composite actions.

The wealth of Korean disability people’s paradigm has developed by the meaning of whole rehabilitation of the small society for acception and protection. Today, that meaning has been changed to make and choose disability people’s future plans by themselves. The CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING in Korea has been accepted through the American and Japanese’s activity systems with no objection. Following result of the real reserching, because the CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING in Korea have no legal basement, so there are little support for these centers and no proper rules and check systems. Therefore, we have to make the legal basement of CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING and separate by each parts of system and to specialize about them. That means, each parts of system have to mark role mode for doing well, and each systems have to develop new programs and services, and to specialize for in Korea. To add, we should have more small CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING in each area, and the CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING which are already started should make network system to contact with other centers in society for giving support of proper information.
유동상 생물막법을 적용한 BNR공법에서의 인제거 영향인자

In this study, the use of MBBR(moving bed biofilm reactor) process for Phosphorus Removal efficiency depending on seasons and the factors affecting phosphorus removal efficiency in the process is evaluated. As a result of experiment, T-P removal efficiency has its highest value in winter, (80.8%). and T-P removal efficiency has its lowest value in autumn, (49%). Optimum SRT for Phosphorus Revomal revealed is about 8.8 days and process performs more efficiently as the temperature decreases. It is accepted that nitrate to anaerobic zone is affecting the Phosphorus removal process. With increasing the organic loading rate, Phosphorus removal efficiency also increases. Also, an experiment has been conducted to find out the highest efficiency according to Media existence and it has revealed that Media addition provides better phosphate removal.
Depressor Septi Nasi Muscle의 비후에 의한 비축주 변형의 치험례

The columella is penetrated by the paired depressor septi nasi muscles which arise from the incisive fossa of the maxilla and insert into the caudal portion of the septum and have a few fibers into the cephalic portion of the ala of nose. Its principal function is to tense the membranous septum. The author present a case of congenital columella deformity due to hypertrophy of depressor septi nasi muscle, which is initially misdiagnosed as a soft tissue tumor such as lymphangioma. Exploration though a columella base incision revealed a distinct columella muscle(5㎜ wide by 5㎜ thick)with is origin at the nasal spine and insertion on the upper septum. The hypertrophic muscle and the excess columella tissue were excised. A pathologic examination demonstrated a normal skeletal muscle. There was noticeable improvement in the columella contour after the operation.
프로스타글란딘 E₁에칠에스테르의 외용 리오겔 제제 설계

External lyogels containing prostaglandin E₁ethyl ester(PGE₁-EE), a produrg of prostaglandin E₁(PGE₁) as a therapeutic agent for erectile dysfunction, were formulated to overcome the aqueous instability and enhance the percutaneous absorption. Lyogels of PGE₁-EE were prepared with ethanol (EtOH)/proplyene glycol (PG) cosolvent system as a vehicle, cineol as an enhancer, and hydroxypropylcellusose as a gelling agent. In vitro percutaneous absorption studies were performed to determine the rate of PGE₁ absorption through rat or hairless mouse skin. The permeability of PGE₁-EE lyogel with enhancer was 16-fold greater than that of lyogel without enhancer. Cosolvent produced 9-fold increase in percutaneous absorption. Pharmacodynamic effects of lyogels were evaluated in mature male cats in terms of intracavernosal pressure (ICP). Lyogles containing 0.01% of PGE₁-EE showed higher ICP compared to intraurethral preparation of PGE₁(1%) and enhancer-free control lyogel. The shelf-life (t_(10%) of lyogel at refrigerated condition (4℃) was calculated as 928 days, which is 4.2 times longer than that of control hydrogel. As a result, PGE₁-EE was formulated successfully to a lyogel system with a selective enhancer and cosolvent system for the topical delivery of PGE₁.
INVERTED MATTRESS SUTURE를 이용한 선천성 이개연골 변형의 교정

There are many kinds of congenital auricular deformities but some congenital deformities have no lack or excess of cartilage, which are mild to a moderately constricted ear, cryptotia and Stahl's ear etc. Even if some kinds of surgical treatments, such as cartilage graft, cartilage turn over and cartilage flap were reported for the correction of them but they were comlex and sometimes unsatisfactory. The method of inverted mattress suture to correct the cartilage deformities is not a new method and some authors reported it previously to correct ear cartilage deformities. Authors have tried to correct several kinds of congenital ear deformities, 2 constricted ears, 5 cryptotias, 2 stahl's ears. 1 satyr ear by using of simple inverted cartilage mattress suture and added Z-plasty or V-Y advancement to corrcet the auricular skin in each cases, respectively. The result was promising without recurrences during average 3 months folloe up periods. This method is immediative, simple, easy to perform and a very useful procedure for the correcton of congenital ear auricular cartilage deformities.
구강환경에 따른 Streptococcus salivarius 의 요소분해활성의 변화

Urea in the oral cavity is hydrolyzed mainly by bacterial ureases to ammonia, which in turn, raises pH of the oral environment, maintaining oral pH homeostasis, thereby inhibiting dental caries. Streptococcus salivarius has been shown to be a major contribution to oral ureolysis. Synthesis of urease by S. salivarius appears to be constitutive, but can be greatly enhanced in the acidic environment. It has been presumed that ureolytic activity of S. salivarius strains isolated from caries-active site is greater than that of strains from caries-free site. However, no in vivo study has supported the presumption. The present study was performed to observe the ureolytic activity of S. salivarius strains isolated from different environments in the same individual, finding out whether the ureolytic activity is related to dental caries. For the purpose, S. salivarius strains were isolated from caries-active site (>C2), a caries-free site of the tooth, and the dorsum of the tongue of each of 50 patients having decayed teeth. The strains isolated from the patients who harbored S. salivarius in more than two sites were selected and then their ureolytic activities were measured. In order to examine clonal diversity of the strains , their ureC genes were amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and then restricted with EcoRV, and the protein profiles of the strains were compared by SDS-PAGE. The results were as follows : 1.Of 50 patients, 13 patients harbored S. salivarius in more than two sites; a total of 61 S. salivarius strain were isolated from the patients and selected for the study. 2.Of 17 isolates from the caries-active site of 9 patients harboring S. salivarius in more than two sites including carious lesion, 10 (58.8%) showed a high ureolytic activity (> 200㎛ol/min/mg). While, 19 out of 44 isolates (43.2% ) from the caries-free site of the teeth and the dorsum of the tongues of 13 patients were the strains with a high ureolytic activity. 3.Of 9 patients harboring S. salivarius in more than two sites including caries-active site, 6 patients were found to have the strains in the caries-active site showing a lower ureolytic activity than the strains in the other sites.
