      • 최적 신경망 분류기 학습을 위한 PCA망의 성능고찰

        Neural network implementations of principal component analysis(PCA) provide a means for unsupervised feature discovery and dimension reduction. In this paper we report the empirical results o feature extractions via principal component analysis networks(PCA networks) in order to learn the optimal neural-network classifiers. Three PCA networks trained by generalized Hebbian algorithm(GHA), weighted subspace algorithm (WSA), and adaptive principal component extraction(APEX) are implemented to test their possibilities of using as a feature extractor for neural classifiers. Experimental results show that a significant reducton in network structure can be achieved without a sacrifice in classifier accuracy. Thus we verified that the PCA networks can be used as a viable tool for designing the optimal neural classifiers.

      • 投影側面圖를 利用한 한글패턴의 圓形線素 抽出

        Korean characters have twenty-four fundamental alphabetic symbols, and the symbols are composed of some segments which are four linear segment(|,/,\,_) and a circular segment(o). The circular segment among the five kinds of segment is different from the others in geometrical properties, and is a syllable most frequently used in character pattern. Therefore, the prior extraction of circular segment to other segment is essential to improve the recognition rate. This paper proposes a method which extracts circular segments from Korean characters by means of projection profiles. The segment is extracted by using the closed circle property and geometrical characteristics of its boundary. In computer simulation, the extraction rate of circular segment on 250 characters which include more than one segment is perfect. And we confirm the efficiency of the proposed method by extracting the circular segments which could not be extracted by thinning process.

        대추혈(大椎穴) 에 대한 문헌적(文獻的) 고찰(考察)

        Objective : The objective of this study is to enlarge the range of treating which understanding taech'u acupoint(GVl4) can be applied to by inspecting and analyzing documentary records about taech'u acupoint(GVl4). Method : Various contents about taech'u acupoint(GVl4) can be inquired into through investing and analyzing 41 kinds of documentary records ranging from old books to contemporary materials. Results : 1. The spot of taech'u acupoint(GVl4) is under the process of the 7th cervical vertebral. 2. Taech'u acupoint(GVl4) can be found in two positions which can be posturized by a patient. One is a position in which a patient lies on his/her face. The other is a position in which a patient sits up straight with his/her head bent. 3. The depth of acupuncturing can be varied from 3 puns to 2 chons. 4. The amount of moxa can be varied from 3 jangs to 60 jangs. 5. To treat throush taech'u acupoint(GVl4) can lower fever, relieve a state of oversensitiveness, and let vitality flown. Conclusions : The range of treating through taech'u acupoint(GVl4) can be chronic wasting diseases, neuropsychotic diseases, feverish diseases, respiratory diseases, and diseases which can be around taech'u acupoint(GVl4).

        대규모 행사 안전관리 요인이 경찰인력 동원에 미치는 영향

        이 연구는 대규모 행사 시 안전관리에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인들이 실제 경찰인력 투입에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보기 위한 연구이다. 이 연구에서는 안전관리 요인을 경찰청 대규모 행사 관리 매뉴얼을 바탕으로 조작적 정의를 실현하였으며, 경찰청에서 제공받은 데이터를 활용하여 이들이 미치는 영향력을 분석하였다. 이 연구를 통한 구체적인 분석결과, 대규모 행사 시 동원된 경찰인력 수는 행사주체의 자체 질서요원이 개입할수록, 행사참가인원이 많을수록, 야간행사 또는 불(꽃) 관련 행사일수록, 실외에서 대규모 행사를 개최할수록, 행사규모×실외 행사 상호작용이 존재할수록, 비수도권 지역에서 대규모 행사가 개최될수록, 지방경찰청 경찰관 수가 많을수록, 관할경찰서 경비․교통 인원수가 많을수록, 관할경찰서 방범순찰대 인원수가 많을수록 대규모 행사시 보다 많은 경찰력을 동원함을 알 수 있다. 그러나 지방경찰청 직할대 수가 많을수록, 관할경찰서 인원이 많을수록 대규모 행사시 경찰인력을 적게 동원하는 것으로 나타났다. This study researched that police force effected by various factors that affect large scale events safety management. This study defined operational definition about safety factors on the basis of large-scale events management manual of national police agency. And I analyzed impacts by means of using data provided national police agency. Analysis result, police committed large-scale event self-order agents of events subject involved, the more exercise participants, the more relate evening events of flame, the more hold large events in the outdoors, the more interact ceremony scale to outdoor events. In addition, the more large-scale events are held, in non-metropolitan areas, the more are police officers provincial police agency, local police patrol and traffic management police, the more local police crime prevention patrol can be seen that many police forces mobilized than during large events. However, the more the local police division troops, people under the jurisdiction of police station showed that less committed police forces during large events.

      • 기울어진 얼굴 영상에서의 특징 추출 및 계층화에 관한 연구

        In this paper, we propose a facial recognition method that accommodates various scale and slope information. Standard facial images and tilted facial images are captured by CCTV camera, transformed to binary image through use of filering and edge detection method. Depending upon the slope information taken from the relative position of left and right eyes, the tilted images are rotated. Then the facial images are subdivided into functional components using the projection profiles. Consequently, positional information represented by a 3 by 3 matrix was used to yield slope and ratio of distance. To further increase the efficiency in recognition, fuzzy linguistic variables are calculated from the real numbers thus produced, and put into an hierarchical order. Experiments show about 90% of recognition rate for the sample images of 30 frames when the slope of input image was considered, and this result can be a great advance compared with the slope of input image was not considered.

      • 넒이우선탐색에 의한 이진영상의 거리변환

        The distance transformation converts a binary image, consisting of feature and non-feature pixels, into an image where all feature pixels have a value corresponding to the distance to the nearest non-feature pixel. In this paper, we propose a method of distance transformation of digital pictures by means of the breadth first search strategy which is the simplest problem solving method in artificial intelligence. First of all, it is shown that only two strategies which are uniform cost search and breadth first search are available for the computing of distance transformation among various search strategies. Also, it is shown experimentally that breadth first search is as efficient as uniform cost search in the transformation. The ground is based on the observation that the computation at pixels near the reference set must be performed before computing at pixels further away.
