한국인 여성의 자궁경부암에서 PCR을 이용한 Human papillomavirus 아형의 검출에 관한 연구

The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used for detection of human papillomavirus (HPV) in paraffin-embedded tissue. Tissues stored as paraffin blocks were a potential source of DNA for retrospective clinicogenetic analysis. Sections in 6 ㎛ (three or five) thick cut from paraffin blocks of 29 uterine cervix dysplasia, 34 uterine cervix carcinoma in situ, 42 uterine cervix squamous cell carcinoma and 10 uterine cervix metaplasia samples were deparaffinized and incubated at 37℃ for 48hrs. in the lysis solution. Following organic extraction and alcohol precipitation, and extracted DNAs were identified by gel electrophoresis. These DNAs carried out PCR. After repeated cycles of specific oligonucleotideprimed extension of viral DNA with thermophilic DNA polymerase. the type of HPV present was then determined on the basis of the size of the ethidium-bromide stained band visible after agarose gel electrophoresis : for HPV 6 is 263 bp. for HPV 11 is 144 bp, for HPV 16 is 601 bp. and for HPV 18 is 360 bp. This study detected HPV DNA in four cases. which broke down to HPV 16 in two case of uterine cervix carcinoma in situ and two case of uterine cervix squamous cell carcinoma, no HPV type in the remainder. Histologically, HPV types 6, 11 are mainly detected in benign genital warts and lowgrade cervical dysplasias, squamous cell carcinoma frequently contained HPV 16, whereas, HPV 18 was present in adenocarcinoma, adenosquamous cell carcinoma and small cell carcinoma of the cervix. These results indicate that cervical cancers might be clinically influenced by the differences in sutible of the infecting HPV.

The purpose of this study was to develop menus for daily intake of 25g soybean protein and to analyse nutrients of these foods. Analytical values were compared to the theoretical one using the food composition table and recommended dietary allowances for Koreans (7th revision). The results are as follows. 1. Soybean curd residue stew, Soybean curd, Kimchi saute, and hard boiled soybean and lotus root were selected for the menu for January, of which the content of soy bean protein(SBP) was 33.1g, soybean stew, soybean curd and soybean sprout saute, and Italian deep fried soybean curd were for February, of which the content of SBP was 35.0g. The content of SBP in soybean paste soup with soybean curd, fried soybean curd and fried soybean curd roll, the menu for March, was 24.9g. That of April were soybean curd gratin with soymilk, soybean curd and ham with garlic dressing and the content of SBP was 26.3g. That of May were soybean porridge, soybean flour cake with honey (Dasik), soybean sprout soup and the content of SBP was 26.7g. That of June were soymilk, pan-fried soybean curd, steamed soybean curd with chicken and the content of SBP was 28.4g. That of July were noodle with soymilk, mapatofu, soybean curd salad and the content of SBP was 24.7g. That of August were soybean sprout with mustard dressing, Tossed green pepper with raw soybean flour, Tofu and Kimchi stew, soybean curd steak and the content of SBP was 26.2g. That of September were Chinese cabbage soup with raw soybean flour, sweet and sour tofu and the content of SBP was 23.2g. That of Oct. were Fermented soybean stew, soybean pan cake and the content of SBP was 24.3g. That of November were not-pressed soybean curd casserole, pan-fried mashed soybean curd with egg, stir frying deep-fried soybean curd with vegetables and the content of SBP was 22.4g. That of December were soybean curd and mushroom casserole, fried soybean curd and vegetables, hard boiled soybean curd and the content of SBP was 28.9g. 2. The ratio of the analytical value over theoretical value (A/B%) of one serving in kcal, carbohydrate, protein, fat, ash and dietary fiber were 57.7~107.7%, 42.9~131.9%, 79.2~118.3%, 54.5~100%, 40.7~80.8% and 42.1~113.2%, respectively. 3. The ratio of A/B% of one serving in Ca, K, Na, P and Fe were 44.1~93.6%, 59.0~153.1%, 53.1~117.7% 64.6%~138.8 and 33.8~77.3%, respectively. That in Fe was the lowest among minerals. 4. The ratio of analytical value over Korean R.D.A(A/C%) in Ca was relatively higher (22.0~85.9%) than that in kcal(18~63%). 5. The ratio of A/C% in Fe was 25.1~64.3% and lower than that in Ca and protein in general.

Biliary cystadenomas and cystadenocarcinomas are rare tumors of biliary origin and constitute less than 5% of the total intrahepatic cysts of bile duct origin. They occur most commonly in middle age females. Clinical manifestations are non-specific, so these tumors are incidentally found during autopsy or surgery. The ultrasonogram, abdominal CT scan, angiography and aspiration cytology are valuable diagnostic methods. The typical sonographic appearance of these tumors is a large intrahepatic globular or ovoid thick-walled cystic mass which often contains multiple septations or papillary infoldings. The characteristic CT appearance of these tumors is similar to that of a low-density intrahepatic mass which may cantain mural nodule or internal septation. However, regardless of the diagnostic modalities, pre-operative diagnosis as well as intra-operative one is difficult. Since biliary cystadenocarcinomas are believed to arise from benign cystadenornas, complete surgical resections, if possible, is a warranted method to avoid malignant change of these tumor. We report one of biliary cystadenocarcinoma canfirmed by the operation with review of the literatures.

Abstract The purposes of this study were to study life style related to cosmetic of female consumers and to analyze the reason for makeup and then investigate relationship between life style and their standard of cosmetic choice. For these purpose, this study was conducted the survey in Seoul where is the capital and Andong where is middle sized conservative city. The results of this study were as follows ; 1. The life style related to makeup showed that consumers tend to pursuit fashion and practicality. 2. There were many relation between life style, for example as life style of consumers tend to fashion, the reason of make up was to show their personality and other people. 3. Consumers who had the reason of makeup to emphasize personality and other people tend to have the criteria of choosing cosmetic by external factors rather than internal factors. 4. Female consumers who were student or housewives tend to choose the cosmetic by external factors such as packing, design and brand, which is price rather than the factors of cosmetic itself and so on.

심장재활교육이 퇴원한 개심술 환자의 자가간호 지식과 수행에 미치는 효과

Purpose: This study was to identify the effect of cardiac rehabilitation education on self-care knowledge and self-care behavior in open heart surgery patients after hospital discharge. Method: The research design was a nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design. The data were collected from August 1 to September 30, 2002 at an university hospital in Ulsan city. The subjects of the study consisted of forty open heart surgery patients after hospital discharge. Data were analyzed by x^(2)-test, t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients. Result: 'The experimental group of the cardiac rehabilitation education will have a higher level of self-care knowledge than the control group'was supported. 'The experimental group of the cardiac rehabilitation education will have a higher level of self-care behavior performance than the control group' was supported. 'The higher the knowledge of self-care, the higher the self-care behavior performance degree' was supported. Conclusion: The patients who took the cardiac rehabilitation education showed the increase of the degree of knowledge of self-care and self-care behavior performance. So, The cardiac rehabilitation education was identified as the prerequisite nursing intervention to increase knowledge of self-care and self-care behavior performance for the open heart surgery patients after hospital discharge.

정사각형 장애물 주위 유동에서 역압력구배의 영향에 관한 실험적 연구

An experimental study on the reattachment length behind the square obstacle under the adverse pressure gradient is conducted. An obstacle is fixed on the flat plate and the plate is installed in the test section of the wind tunnel. The upper wall of the wind tunnel is designed to be adjusted to impose the adverse pressure gradient on the flat plate. Tufts, ink-dot-liquid-film technique and a single hot wire are used to visualize and to determine the reattachment length of the flow field. Experimental results for the reattachment length of a model installed in the wind tunnel are strongly affected by the circumstances of the plate, installation, that is, whether sides of a model to the wind tunnel wall is open or completely closed. In order to ensure the two-dimensional flow on the plate sides of a model to the wind tunnel should be completely closed. The reattachment length of the square obstacle increase as the adverse pressure gradient increases.

아음속풍동의 제작과 난류경계층 구조의 변화에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 풍동의 활용성과 경제성, 장비설치 및 취급의 용이성등을 고려하여 요구풍속을 결정한 후 확산부, 정체실, 수축부, 시험부등을 설계하고, 제작된 풍동에 대한 성능검사를 실시하였다. 정체부와 시험부 수축비는 9이고 시험부의 단면은 406mm×406mm 이며 길이는 1,200mm 이다. 시험부에서 얻을 수 있는 최대속도는 송풍기 회전수 1,500rpm 일때 36m/sec이다. 송풍기 동력은 19kW 이며 송풍기 형태는 원심형 임펠러를 선택하였다. 시험부의 성능을 검사하기 위해 열선유속계를 사용하여 시험부 출구 단면에서의 속도분포와 난류강도를 조사하였다. 시험부의 속도는 5m/sec 에서 30m/sec 까지의 범위에서 난류강도는 0.5%이고 벽면경계층 두께를 고려하면 유효 단면적은 약 85%이다. 제작된 풍동에 에머리 페이퍼(emery paper) 또는 트리핑 와이어(tripping wire)를 부착한 매끈한 평판과 축대칭 3차원 물체를 장치하여 경계층 속의 흐름이 난류가 되도록 하였고 발생된 난류 경계층의 특성을 분석 하였다. In the present experimental study, the range of wind speed at the test section was determined by considering the availability, economy, installation and handling of the wind tunnel, and diffuser section, settling chamber, contraction section and test section of the wind tunnel were designed and manufactured to satisfy the prescribed wind speed range. Performance of the manufactured wind tunnel was tested according to the normal testing procedure. Contraction ratio of the test section to the settling chamber is 9 and the cross section of the test section is 406mm×406mm and the test section is 1200mm long. The maximum air speed at the test section is 36m/sec for the motor speed of 1500 rpm. A centrifugal type fan is used and the maximum power required is 19kw. The hot-wire anemometer system was employed to test the performance of the wind tunnel by measuring the velocity distribution and turbulent intensity at the exit of the test section. Measured values of turbulent intensity were less than 0.5% for the range of wind speed from 5m/sec to 30m/sec. The available cross sectional area of the test section was about 85%. Flat plate and axisymmetric three dimensional body were used as models to identify the boundary layer characteristics. The boundary layers were triggered by emery paper and/or tripping wire. The characteristics of the generated turbulent boundary layers were analyzed.
