Tetrodotoxin is a neurotoxin produced by about 90 species of puffer fish and causes paralysis of central nervous system and peripheral nerves by blocking the movement of all monovalent cation. Ingestion of tetrodotoxin produces clinical manifestations such as paresthesias(within 10-45 min), vomiting, lightheadedness, salivation, muscle twitching, dysphagia, difficulty in speaking, convulsion and death that expressed by cardiopulmonary arrest with loss of brain stem reflex sometimes. Tetrodotoxin prevents or delays ischemia induced neuronal death by way of following 3 mechanisms. Firstly, it reduces the energy demand of the brain tissues. Secondly, it delays or even prevents anoxic depolarization. Finally, it deminishes ischemia induced cell swelling and cerebral edema. We report a case of puffer fish poisoning which presented with cardiopulmonary arrest and loss of brain stem reflex, but completely recovered by aggressive cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

가막만 패류양식장의 수질 및 저질특성

This study was performed to characterize the seasonal fluctuation of water quality and sediment environment from April, 2001 to November, 2001 in Gamak bay. Which was a productive area, but recently its fisheries conditional have been deteriorated because of increasing waste-water from municipal area, industry and autochthonous pollution by farm industry. In the survey of seawater quality, DO and COD concentrations were lowest in bottom layer at summer, but DIN and DIP contents were higher than those in surface layer. Eutrophication indices mean that eutrophication area move from south to north entrance via northern-west inner area with seasonal change from summer to autumn. In the survey of sediment environment, ignition loss(IL), chemical oxygen demand(COD), DIN and Dip were in the range of 3.8~15.7%, 10.3~60.6mg/g-dry, 5.053~1.810mg/ℓ and 0.065~0.324mg/ℓ , respectively. COD in sediment were highest at winter and spring. And, they were higher than sediment standard in the south inner area, which mean heavily polluted conditions with organic constituents.

Heat transfer characteristics of self-oscillating heat pipe were experimentally investigated for the effect of fill charge ratios and heat loads. The heat pipe used for this study is made of copper capillary, has 0.002m internal diameter, a 0.34m length in one turn and consists of 19 turns. Heating and cooling section each have a length of 70mm. Water was used as working fluid inside the heat pipe. As the experimental results, the self oscillating heat pipe was operated b self-exited oscillation and circulation of working fluid and the oscillation within the self-oscillating heat pipe assumed chaotic behavior.

사회적 기업의 차원과 타당성 : 사회적 기업가 육성 정책을 중심으로

This study examines political measures to cultivate social enterprises in order to grope for ways to develop social enterprises. The results gained from this research can be summed up as below: First, from the practical perspective to social enterprises, Korea has grown social enterprises quantitatively through diverse support policies for such things as finance and infrastructure under its government’s powerful initiative and has been practicing its policies. This tremendous financial support has led to the pressure on the governmental finance, and this study has found there is great possibility that social enterprises may show limits to growth after all. Second, it is very crucial that the distinctiveness of social enterprises should be harmonized with the publicness and corporateness, and to realize that, this paper has gotten the implication that it is very important to build policies to cultivate social enterprises. In other words, only when the operators of social enterprises are equipped with specialized administrative ability about publicness and corporateness, they can get close to the essence that social enterprises pursue. It is expected that this study result will contribute meaningfully to discussing political measures from various perspectives regarding the development of social enterprises both practically and academically.

양측성 관상동정맥루 1예

저자들은 호흡곤란, 흉부불쾌감, 심계항진 등을 주소로 내원한 환자에서 경흉부 및 경식도 심초음파 검사상 주폐동맥에서 이완기에 전행하는 지속적인 혈류의 흐름을 관찰하고, 관상동맥 조영술을 통해 좌전하행지 중간부위와 우관상동맥 근위부에서 각각 기시하여 공통경로를 이루면서 주폐동맥으로 유입되는 양측성 관상동정맥루를 보이는 드문 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. A coronary arteriovenous fistula is infrequently encountered vascular communication between a coronary artery and a cardiac chamber, a great artery or the vena cava. It is the most common congenital anomaly that can affect coronary perfusion. Bilateral involvement of coronary fistula constitutes an uncommon subgroup of coronary arteriovenous fistulas. A 69 year-old female patient presented with chest discomfort, palpitation, and dyspnea. In the echocardiography, doppler color flow imaging visualized abnormal flow signals with mosaic appearance in the main pulmonary artery during diastolic phase. Coronary angiography revealed arteriovenous fistula arising from the left anterior descending artery and the right coronary artery. Both coronary arteriovenous fistulas drained into the main pulmonary artery. We report a case of bilateral coronary arteriovenous fistula that was confirmed by echocariography and coronary angiography.

경사각에 따른 자리 진동 히트파이프의 열전달특성에 관한 연구

In this paper, heat transfer characteristics of a self-oscillating heat pipe were experimentally investigated for the effect of inclination angle and heat loads. This type of heat pipe consists of a heating section, a cooling section and an adiabatic section. The heat pipe used has a 0.002m internal diameter, a 0.34m length in one turn and consists of 19 turns. Each of the heating and cooling section has a length of 70mm. Experiments were performed to measure the temperature distributions and the pressure variation of the heat pipe according to inclination angle. Based on the experimental results, the heat transfer ability of the self-oscillating heat pipe seems to improved with the increase of the inclination angle.

左金丸이 腸運動 및 胃液分泌에 미치는 影響

Effects of Joakeumwhan(左金丸) extract on the gastrointestinal tract were investigated in rabbits and rats. Treatment of Joakeumwhan extract caused an increase of contractile response of the isolated rabbit ileum. Generally the magnitude of increase was related to the dose of Joakeumwhan extract. The contracting effect of Joakeumwhan extract was not changed by pretreatment of Atropine. The contracting effect of Joakeumwhan extract was inhibited by pretreatment of Pheniramin maleate. The contracting effect of Joakeumwhan extract was inhibited by pretreatment of Cyproheptadine. The contractile response of the isolated lieum was reduced by retreatment of Joakeumwhan extract. The gastric secretion of rat was increased by treatment of Joakeumwhan extract. The gastric acidity of rat was not changed by treatment of Joakeumwhan extract.

<옥원재합기연>에 나타난 윤리적 갈등 : 宗法과 관련하여 Being connected with clan rules(宗法)

본 연구는 <옥원재합기연>에 나타난 윤리적 갈등을 종법과 관련하여 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 소설이 사회를 그대로 재현하지는 못하지만 시대적 진실의 일면은 표현하고 있다는 점에서 <옥원>을 통해 18세기 조선 사회를 이해하는 것은 의의를 갖는다고 하겠다. 조선왕조는 건국과 더불어 중국의 종법을 받아들여 이를 국가와 가문의 경영에 으뜸가는 제도로 삼았다. 이러한 종법은 적장자 중심의 제사와 상속을 그 특징으로 하는데, 이는 개인보다 가문의 유지, 발전을 위한 것이었다. 그리고 이는 嫡庶, 男女, 長次의 차별을 내포하고 있었다. 한편 <옥원>의 윤리적 갈등은 효와 불효, 여자의 효와 정절에 대한 견해 차이에서 발생한 것을 들 수 있다. 먼저 효와 불효의 문제는 소송 부자간의 갈등인데, 이는 개인을 중시하는 아버지와 가문의 문제를 더 중시하는 아들 사이에 일어난 갈등이라고 할 수 있다. 그리고 여자의 효는 종법제가 강화되자 친족 내 妻族과 母族의 역할과 위상이 축소되면서 혼인한 여성의 孝를 인정하지 않는 종법의 문제에서 비롯된 것이다. 한편 여자의 정절에 대한 갈등은 종법에 대한 남녀간의 반응을 반영한 것이다. <옥원>의 의의로는 윤리적 갈등의 문제를 다룸으로써 현실성을 확보한 점을 들 수 있다. 그리고 이러한 현실성의 확보를 통해 18세기의 장편 소설이 자리를 잡을 수 있었다. 그리고 민감한 사회 문제에 대한 문학적 반응을 통해 독자의 반응을 이끌어 낸 점을 들 수 있다. This research aims to examine the ethical dissension which appear to Ogwonjaehapgiyeon regarding clan rules. Novel is a unofficial documental and shows the state of consumption and modification about sensitive problem of the present age. In this points of view, even novel does not reappear the society of the present age just as it is, but express the one side of periodic truth. Clan rules used a culturally fair influence at Chosun Dynasty, and the diffusion and enforcement of clan rules arose as ethical dissension. Therefore, understanding about the clan rules becomes a big help to understand an ethical dissension which appear to Ogwonjaehapgiyeon . So, though inspecting a clan rules briefly, investigated the background of ethical dissension. Then, examined the aspect and meaning of ethical dissension. The each aspects and meanings of ethical dissension are divided and investigated by the dissension of a hero and a heroine. And in the novel history, investigate the meaning of an ethical dissension of Ogwonjaehapgiyeon.

The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the third year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows : - analyzing and differentiating of epidemic febrile disease - analyzing and differentiating in accordance with the Sasang constitution medicine based on four-type recognition - differentiation of disease according to pathological changes of Chong and Ren channels - standards for diagnosis of women's disease - standards for diagnosis of children's disease - standards for diagnosis of motor and sensor disturbance (-muscle. born, joint, etc.) - standards for diagnosis of neuropsychiatric disease - standards for diagnosis of five sense organ disease - standards for diagnosis of external disease The indivisual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs, the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern, discrimination of diagnosis pattern, prognosis, a way of curing a disease, prescription, herbs in common use, disease appearing the diagnosis pattern, documents. The standards for diagnosis of each disease was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of disease, the main point of diagnosis, analyzing and differentiating of disease, analysis of disease, discrimination of disease, prognosis, a way of curing and prescription of disease, disease in western medicine appearing the disease in oriental medicine, documents.
