Novel thermal radical initiators based on a triazene moiety for radical polymerization

In this study, we designed and synthesized novel thermal radical initiators of BTAP (1-phenyl-3,3-dipropyltriazene), BTACP (1-(phenyldiazenyl)pyrrolidine), BTACH (1-(phenyldiazenyl)piperidine), and BTACH7 (1-(phenyldiazenyl)azepane) based on a triazene moiety to provide a thermal initiator for radical polymerization. The synthetic method is valuable due to the simplicity. In addition, the synthesized thermal initiator did not affect the color of the polymer. Among the four initiators, the polymerization time for the BTACH of the 6-membered ring decreased by 67%, as opposed to the polymerization time without initiator. Conversion after polymerization was over 92%. DSC experiments also showed that the initiator with hexagonal rings had the lowest peak polymerization temperature of 160 °C. Our study suggests a promising new initiator system that is effective for radical polymerization.

This study was carried out to investigate the histological changes after the infection of nuclear and cytoplasmic polyhedrosis viruses(NPV, CPV) and the resistance to the viruses in various varieties of the silkworm fed on artificial diet. The results obtained were as follows; Among four varieties of silkworm tested, Jam 107 X Jam 108 was more resistant than the other varieties tested and Jam 119 X Jam 120 was the most resistant to CPV. In case of peroral infection with NPV, Jam 107 X Jam 108 showed lower mortality than the remained varieties in low concentration (104/m1). However, all varieties showed high mortality as the concentration of viruses was increased. With infection of CPV, the varieties showed high mortality at the concentration of 107 and 108/ml, while Jam 119 X Jam 120 showed the lowest mortality at virus concentration of 104/m1. The fat bodies, epidermal cells and tracheal epithelial cells showed high susceptibility to NPV to break the cells completely and liberate the debris to the body cavity. The CPV infected only the cylindrical cells of mid-gut and formed polyhedrons. In some cells, CPV was liberated to gastral cavity. In the electrophoretic pattern of hemolymph protein of silkworm larvae infected with NPV, bands were dimmed and disappeared as symptom aggravated after infection. Electrophoretic pattern of hemolymph proteins of silkworm larvae infected with CPV showed no numerical difference at the later stage of infection, and one or two bands was observed along with lowering the concentrations.
New optimized triazene radical initiators for thermal polymerization

New phenyl-triazine-containing thermal radical initiators (TRIs), namely 3,3-dimethyl-1-phenyltriazene(BTAM), 3,3-diethyl-1-phenyltriazene (BTAE), 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-(phenyldiazenyl)piperidine (BTACM),2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-(phenyldiazenyl)piperidin-4-ol (BTACH OH), and 2,2,6,-tetramethyl-1-(phenyldia-zenyl)piperidin-4-ol (BTACM OH), were designed and synthesized for use in radical polymerization. Themethod used to synthesize the initiators was simple, and the synthesized initiators did not change the colorof the polymer. For thesefive new initiators as well as four related previously designed ones, thepolymerization conversion rate was in each case over 92%. BTACM, which also included a six-memberedaliphatic ring substituted with two dimethyl groups, showed a polymerization time 81.9% less than thatwithout initiatorand showed according to DSC experiments the lowest peak polymerization temperature of137 C. These results represent a new promising thermal initiator system expected to be effective for variousapplications, especially those involving polymer coating.

Based on the anthracene-pyrene dual core, a new blue fluorescent material in the form of a polymer was developed. After introducing styrene at the end of the dual-core, a polymer blue emitting material was obtained through radical polymerization. In the case of the newly synthesized Poly 1-(4-vinylphenyl)-6-(10-(4-vinylphenyl) anthracen-9-yl)pyrene (S-AP-S), it not only emitted in the blue region of 443 nm in solution state, but also showed a high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of 79%. When Poly S-AP-S was applied as an emitter to solution process organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), current efficiency of 4.48 cd/A and external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 3.62% were realized. It also exhibited the deep-blue color coordinates of (0.157, 0.094) which satisfy with the mobile specification.

The objective of this study is to analyze trends by period, research topic, research method and research subjects of papers on culinary tourism published in 13 academic journals from 2001 to 2017 and to re-evaluate these research papers using the paradigm funnel approach. The key results of the analysis are as follows. First, the analysis of trends by period in academic journals showed that the highest number of articles published was during 2013 to 2017 with 36 studies. Second, the most prevalent research method was quantitative analysis (8.5%), most studied research subjects were food tourists (36.5%)and general consumers (36.5%), and the most researched topic was culinary tourism’s connection to local tourism resources with 21 studies published (40.4%). Third, the analysis using the paradigm funnel approach showed ⓐ five level 1 empirical observations, ⓑ forty level 2 analytical methods, ⓒ six level 3 specific theory, and ⓓ one level 4 deep assumptions. This study is significant in that it suggests directions for future culinary tourism research and that studies have been classified and analyzed, and further evaluated using the paradigm funnel approach.
韓國人と日本人のコミュニケ-ション行動に關する比較對照硏究- 依賴行動における依賴主の意識に注目して -

한국인과 일본인의 커뮤니케이션 행동에 관한 비교대조연구- 의뢰행동에 보이는 의뢰자의 의식을 중심으로 - 본 연구는 의뢰내용과 의뢰상대와의 친소관계에 주목하여 의뢰행동에 보이는 의뢰자의 의식에 대해 이문화간 커뮤니케이션의 관점에서 한일양국에 보이는 특징에 대해 살펴본 것이다. 분석결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. (1) 친한 의뢰상대의 경우: 볼펜장면과 디지털카메라장면에서는 의뢰상대별로 약간의 차이가 보이지만 친한 선생을 제외하고 심리적 부담도와 의뢰의 실행여부에 대한 양국간의 차이는 그다지 크지 않았다. 동전장면에서는 친한 선생을 제외한 모든 상대에게 부탁하기 쉽게 생각하는 경향이 일본보다 한국이 훨씬 강하며, 실제의 행동도 심리적 부담도와 거의 비례하는 경향이 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. (2) 친하지 않은 의뢰상대의 경우: 볼펜장면, 동전장면, 디지털카메라장면의 모든 설정장면에서 한국이 일본보다 심리적 부담도와 의뢰의 실행율이 모두 높게 나타났다. 특히 동전장면에 보이는 양국간의 차이가 현저히 큰 것으로 나타나 실제의 접촉장면에서 오해가 생기고 문제의 원인이 될 것으로 보인다. 본 연구에서 밝힌 위와 같은 차이는 의뢰내용 그 자체에 대한 인식과 의뢰상대에 대한 한일양국간의 인식의 차이에 기인한 것으로 보이며, 이러한 인식의 차이를 밝히는 것은 향후 양 국민의 원활한 커뮤니케이션을 위해 매우 중요할 것이다.
외식 프랜차이징과 관련된 심판례 분석과 제도개선에 관한 연구: 가맹사업법상 구속조건부거래 행위를 중심으로

The purpose of this study was to analyze the contents of trial and judicial precedents related to the violation by the franchise headquarters of food service industry of the Act on Exclusive Dealing under the Franchise Business Act and to draw the implications. Analysis of the contents revealed that the Fair Trade Commission strictly determines the coercion related to interior construction and required items in judgments related to the detention of the trade opponent among the types of exclusive dealing under the Franchise Business Act. In this regard, the court made a judgment by broadly acknowledging the objective necessity of franchising business management, the unity of trademark, the continuous management and control of whether franchisees use it, service quality and consumer satisfaction, etc. As an improvement measure, it is necessary to revise definition and scope in order to have them become required items in the information disclosure statement and the franchise contract under the Franchise Business Act because they are absent in relation to designation of required items in the current law.
