      • Mechanical Properties of Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Material Based on Polyurethane

        Organic-inorganic hybrid materials have excellent performance because of combine the characteristics of high elasticity and flexibility of the organic phase with the high thermal stability and high mechanical properties of the inorganic phase. Generally, Polyurethane (PU) is one of the most popular because of its elasticity, chemical resistance and flexibility. On the other hand. Organic-inorganic hybrid materials based on polyurethane show following improved advantage: thermal stability and mechanical properties. In view of these considerations, we synthesized PU by polycarbonyl diol (PCD), hexamethylene diisocyanate (IPDI) and monodicarbinol terminated polydimethylsiloxane. As the siloxane content increased, and hardness of the PU increase. The mechanical properties of PU was investigated thermomechanical analysis (TMA) and rheometer.

        과학사 학계는 왜 실학을 저평가해 왔는가?

        이 논문은 20세기 후반 한국 과학사 학계를 주도한 전상운, 박성래, 김영식의 연구가 조선 후기 실학에 대해 취한 태도를 살펴본다. 이를 통해 세 학자가 비록 기본적인 사관, 방법론, 구체적인 주장에서 상당한 차이를 보이면서도 실학에 대해 부정적인 평가를 내린 점에서는 유사했음을 보일 것이다. 이들이 보기에 조선 후기의 실학자들은 외래 과학의 주체적 수용에 실패했으며(전상운), 그들이 보유한 서구 과학기술 지식은 동시대 일본, 중국의 수준에 비해 현격히 낮았 고(박성래), 그들의 사상은 주자 성리학으로 대표되는 동아시아 전근대 사유의 범위에서 근본적으로 벗어나지 못했다(김영식)는 것이다. 오늘날의 관점에서 보았을 때 이러한 평가는 과거 실학에 대한 것이라기보다는 당대 사상사 학계의 실학 연구가 지닌 개념적 난점을 지적한 것으로서, 조선 후기 실학 연구에서 서구, 중국, 근대 개념 사이의 좀 더 복합적이고 새로운 연관을 모색해야 함을 시사하고 있다. This paper examines the generally negative view concerning the late Joseon sirhak scholarship, taken by the three leading historians of science in the second half of the twentieth century. They view that the sirhak scholars failed to assimilate foreign (Western) science on their own terms taking into account Korea’s national needs (Jeon Sangwoon), that their grasp of Western science was far lower than that of contemporary Chinese and Japanese (Park Seongrae), and that their view of nature was still within the scope of traditional Neo-Confucian thought (Kim Yung Sik). These evaluations, seen from today’s perspective, were directed at not so much Late Joseon sirhak scholars themselves as contemporary intellectual historians who lacked viable historiographical schemes to deal with the late Joeon sirhak scholarship. Their criticism could thus be viewed as a call for a more sophisticated approach toward the sirhak that hlep us better understand the complex relationship between such historiographical concepts as the West, China (the Middle Kingdom), and modernity.

      • The Introduction of Western Science and the Rationalization of Traditional Astrology: Reevaluating Yi Ik's "On Field-allocation"

        In this article I examine how Yi Ik, a prominent shirak [實學] scholar in the 18th century, responded to the impact of Western science. I focus on one of his articles, "On Field-allocation" [bunya, 分野] in the Fragmented Essays of Master Seongho [seongho saseol, 星湖僿說] because Yi Ik here articulated his approach both to Western science and the traditional world view. Contrary to the accepted image of Yi Ik as an iconoclastic critic of the traditional worldview and as a pioneer of modern Korean thought, I draw a rather conservative picture of him; Yi Ik never discarded the traditional belief in the astrological correspondence between heaven and earth, nor did he negate the central position of Chinese civilization in the world. He was, of course, aware that these conventional beliefs had many flaws that conflicted with the astronomical and geographical knowledge of Jesuit missionaries he highly evaluated. Yi IK tried to find a middle ground in which these conflicts could be successfully resolved. He incorporated several elements from Western science, especially the concept of a round earth, into the traditional astrological system, giving the latter a more reasonable theoretical foundation. In Yi Ik's work, Western science did not provide an alternative to the traditional belief but a useful resource to rationalize them.

        교외 및 주거 지역에서의 편파 다이버시티 전파전파 특성 연구

        본 논문에서는 편파 다이버시티에 대한 전파전파 특성 분석과 상용의 이동전화 기지국 시스템에 적용하기 위 한 가능성을 검증하였다. 이를 위하여 교외지역 및 주거지역을 대상으로 $\pm45^{\circ}$ 선형 편파특성을 가진 이중편파 안테나를 이용하였고, 다이버시티 이득(Diversity gain)과 상호상관계수(Cross correlation coefficients)의 관 점에서 기존의 공간 다이벼시티의 성능과 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과 공간 다아버시티가 편파 다이버시티보다 1~2 dB 정도의 다이버시티 이득은 높게 나타났으며, 휴대용 이동전화 환경에서는 편파다이버시티와 공간다이 버시티 각각에 대한 상호 상관 계수는 그 차이가 $\pm0.1$ 이내로 큰 차이가 없음올 CDF(Cummulative Distrib bution Function) 분석을 통하여 확인할 수 있었다. In this paper, we performed the comparisons between polarization diversity using dual polarization antennal which has $\pm45^{\circ}$slanted linear polarization characteristics and conventional space diversity in rural and residential areas. The analysis was done by evaluating the diversity gain improvement and cross correlation coefficients between two received signals through each diversity branch. From the results, we could confirmed that space diversity has bigger diversity gain than polarization diversity by 1~2 dB, and there is a little difference of $\pm0.1$ in cross correlation coefficients by analyzing CDF under portable mobile phone environments.

        Efficient white light emitting devices with a blue emitting layer doped with a red dye

        We report the fabrication and the characterization of white organic light emitting devices consisting of a single light emitting layer of blue-emitting bis(2-methyl-8-quinolinolato) (triphenyl-siloxy)aluminium (III) (SAlq) doped with red-emitting 4-dicy-anomethylene-2-methyl-6-[2-(2,3,6,7-tetrahydro-1H,5H-benzo[i,j]quinolizin-8-yl)vinyl]-4H-pyran) (DCM2). White light emissioncan be obtained from the incomplete energy transfer from SAlq to DCM2 and the direct trapping of carriers at DCM2. Theelectroluminescence (EL) spectrum consists of two broad peaks around 480 and 570 nm, resulting in white light emission with theCIE coordinates (0.32, 0.38). The introduction of the PEDOTPSS buer layer leads to an increase in the current density andthe luminance by a factor. 6 under the forward bias. The device with PEDOTPSS shows an EL turn-on voltage of about 3 V andthe maximum luminance of 18,100 cd/m2 at the bias of 13.2 V. The luminous eciency is about 2.1 lm/W and the external quantumeciency is 1.9% at a luminance of 100 cd/m2.

        사설 5G통신망의 롤아웃 현황 및 기술적 이슈 분석

        In this paper, we will look at the private network that is attracting attention to the new industry with the global construction of 5G. To this end, the private communication network's industrial and regional construction situation is identified and the technical characteristics of the private communication network based on 5G are analyzed. In addition, the frequency distribution status of each country is divided into low frequency band, intermediate frequency band, and high frequency band and the characteristics of the four building models are compared with the background of the introduction of private communication networks. In addition, the various applications to activate the private communication network will be analized to identify the current status related to the various fields such as autonomous driving robots, the replacement of wireless technology in the manufacturing environment, machine vision, robotic vehicles, medical field, and remote cooperation. We would like to compare the major technical empirical cases that are being conducted in many countries globally with the analysis of applied cases, and to review the major technical aspects that should be developed in the future and suggest the direction of the technology in MEC, Small Cell and OpenLAN 본 논문에서는 5G의 전세계적인 구축과 함께 새로운 산업으로 관심받고 있는 사설 통신망에 대해서 살펴본다. 이를 위해 사설통신망의 산업별 및 지역별 구축 상황을 파악하고, 5G 기반의 사설통신망의 기술적 특성을 분석한다. 또한 각 국가의 주파수 분배현황을 저주파 대역,중간 주파수 대역 그리고 고주파 대역으로 나누어 살펴보고 사설 통신망의 도입배경과 4가지 구축모델의 특성을 비교 분석한다. 또한 사설통신망의 활성화를 위하여 제시되고 되는 다양한 응용사례를 자율주행로봇,제조환경에서의 무선기술 대체,머신 비젼,로봇차량,의학분야 및 원격 협진 등의 다양한 분야를 중심으로 지금까지의 현황을 파악하고 향후 신규 응용분야의 발굴과 관련된 이슈를 도출하고 해결방안을 모색한다. 응용사례의 분석과 더불어 세계적으로 여러나라에서 진행되고 있는 주요 기술적 실증사례를 비교분석하여 향후 개발해야할 주요 기술적사항을 MEC,스몰셀 및 오픈랜 기술관점에서 살펴보고 이에 대한 추진방향을 제시하고자 한다

      • The Rheological Properties of Polyurethane of Organic-Inorganic Hybrid

        Polyurethane (PU) is consist of alternating soft segment and hard segment. The soft segment provides elastomeric character such as low transition temperature and flexibility. On the other hand, the hard segment forms dimensional stability. PU has formed micro phase separated morphologies due to the thermodynamic incompatibility of soft segment and hard segment. In this study, we synthesized PU by polycarbonyl diol (PCD), hexamethylene diisocyanate (IPDI) and monodicarbinol terminated polydimethylsiloxane. Siloxane chain using as soft segment has many unique properties, for example resistance to high and low temperature and excellent flexibility. Rheological properties were investigated by rheometer.

      • Effect of Oligosiloxane on Rheological Properties of Acrylic PSA

        Acrylic polymers are good candidates for a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) because acrylic polymers have low cost, nontoxicity and excellent transparency. Despite the many advantages, acrylic PSA is limited in application because of thermal instability and low mechanical properties. In this study, we synthesized branch and linear type oligosiloxanes by sol-gel reaction. The oligosiloxanes are organicinorganic hybrid material having thermal stability and good optical properties. Nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer (NMR) and FT-IR was used to confirm the chemical reaction of hybrid materials. Thermal stability of oligosilxoane characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The rheological properties of acrylic PSA using oligosiloxane as additive analyzed rheometer.
