Purpose: To explore the value of systemic inflammatory markers as independent prognostic factors and the extent these markers improve prognostic classification for patients with inoperable advanced or metastatic gastric cancer (GC) receiving palliative chemotherapy. Methods: We studied the prognostic value of systemic inflammatory factors such as circulating white blood cell count and its components as well as that combined to form inflammation-based prognostic scores (Glasgow Prognostic Score (GPS), Neutrophil-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR), Platelet Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR), Prognostic Index (PI) and Prognostic Nutritional Index (PNI)) in 384 patients with inoperable advanced or metastatic gastric cancer (GC) receiving first-line chemotherapy. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to examine the impact of inflammatory markers on overall survival (OS). Results: Univariate analysis revealed that an elevated white blood cell, neutrophil and/or platelet count, a decreased lymphocyte count, a low serum albumin concentration, and high CRP concentration, as well as elevated NLR/PLR, GPS, PI, PNI were significant predictors of shorter OS. Multivariate analysis demonstrated that only elevated neutrophil count (HR 3.696, p=0.003) and higher GPS (HR 1.621, p=0.01) were independent predictors of poor OS. Conclusion: This study demonstrated elevated pretreatment neutrophil count and high GPS to be independent predictors of shorter OS in inoperable advanced or metastatic GC patients treated with first-line chemotherapy. Upon validation of these data in independent studies, stratification of patients using these markers in future clinical trials is recommended.

A novel and efficient pretreatment method is proposed for the enrichment of sanguinarine (SA) from the extraction wastewater of Macleaya cordata (Willd) R. Br. using magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers (MMIPs) as solid phase adsorbent. The obtained MMIPs were synthesized by molecular imprinted technology and were well characterized with TEM, FT-IR, XRD, TGA, and VSM. The adsorption capacity and selectivity of MMIPs were also investigated. The results showed that the obtained MMIPs were core–shell spherical morphologies with an average diameter of 300 nm. The adsorption experiments showed that the MMIPs exhibited an almost three times higher adsorption capacity towards SA (Qmax = 12.24 mg/g) than magnetic molecularly non-imprinted polymers (MNIPs) (Qmax = 4.15 mg/g). The calculated parameters of adsorption isotherms and kinetics suggested that the adsorption process matched the Langmuir adsorption isotherm and pseudo-second-order kinetics model. The thermodynamic parameters were calculated, indicating that the adsorption process was spontaneous (ΔG298K = −3.24 kJ/mol). The selectivity experiment showed that the MMIPs displayed higher selective adsorption capacity for SA compared to its reference compounds. Moreover, the MMIPs were applied to enrich SA from the extraction wastewater of M. cordata. The proposed method could provide an effective, simple and environmentally friendly way to identify and enrich SA from the extraction wastewater of M. cordata.

This study derives the differential equations of free vertical bending and torsional vibrations for two- and three-pylon suspension bridges using d'Alembert's principle. The respective algorithms for natural vibration frequency and vibration mode are established through the separation of variables. In the case of the three-pylon suspension bridge, the effect of the along-bridge bending vibration of the middle pylon on the vertical bending vibration of the entire bridge is considered. The impact of torsional vibration of the middle pylon about the vertical axis on the torsional vibration of the entire bridge is also analyzed in detail. The feasibility of the proposed method is verified by two engineering examples. A comparative analysis of the results obtained via the proposed and more intricate finite element methods confirmed the former feasibility. Finally, the middle pylon stiffness effect on the vibration frequency of the three-pylon suspension bridge is discussed. It is found that the vibration frequencies of the first- and thirdorder vertical bending and torsional modes both increase with the middle pylon stiffness. However, the increase amplitudes of thirdorder bending and torsional modes are relatively small with the middle pylon stiffness increase. Moreover, the second-order bending and torsional frequencies do not change with the middle pylon stiffness.

본 연구의 목적은 중국 지역 대표 브랜드 칭다오 맥주의 브랜드 자산인 브랜드 인지, 브랜드 이미지, 지각된 품질이 매개변수인 소비자 만족도를 기반으로 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향을 밝히는데 있다. 이를 위해 2019년 10월 21일부터 11월 3일까지 14일 동안에 중국에 칭다오 맥주를 먹은 경험이 있는 중국 소비자 대상으로 설문조사를 진행되었다. 응답자 답을 SPSS 25번전으로 회귀분석을 진행하였다. 칭다오 맥주의 브랜드 자산, 소비자 만족도와 브랜드 충성도의 영향관계를 검증하기 위해 3가지 가설을 설정하였다. 분석결과는 첫째, 칭다오 맥주의 브랜드 자산은 소비자 만족도에 정(+)의 영향이 미친 것이다. 그리고 브랜드 자산은 브랜드 충성도에 도 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 마지막으로 소비자 만족도는 칭다오 맥주의 브랜드 자산이 브랜드 충성도에 영향을 미치는데 매개효과를 있다고 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to identify the effects on brand loyalty based on consumer satisfaction and brand equity which brand recognition, brand image and perceived quality of Tsingtao Beer, the local representative brand of China. The study was surveyed Chinese consumers who had consumed Tsingtao beer in China for 14 days from October 21 to November 3, 2019. Regression analysis was performed to SPSS 25 responses. Three hypotheses have been established to verify the relationship of brand equity, consumer satisfaction and brand loyalty of Tsingtao beer. The analysis results showed that the brand equity of Tsingtao Beer were influenced by positive influence on consumer satisfaction. And brand equity has a positive influence on brand loyalty. Consumer satisfaction as the medium effect has a positive influence on brand loyalty.

Both LiNbO₃ and KTiOPO₄ samples were implanted with 350 keV H^+ and He^+ ions at different doses ranging from 1×10^(16) to of 5×10^(16) ions/㎠. Single and multi-energy implantations were performed at room temperature. Mono-mode or a few modes in both LiNbO₃ and KTiOPO₄ waveguides were observed. The effect of temperature on the refractive index profiles of LiNbO₃ and KTiOPO₄ waveguids was studied. The temperature covered from room temperature, 200℃, 194.5 K (dry ice) and 77K (liquid nitrogen). Different mechanisms are needed to interpret the observed behavior. A n_e increased mono-mode LiNbO₃ waveguide was formed by multi-energy keV He^+ ions.

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of Enteromorpha powder supplementation on reproduction-related hormones and genes in the late laying period of Zi geese. Methods: A total of 312 (1-year-old) Zi geese with similar laying rate were randomly divided into 2 groups with 6 replicates each, each with 21 female geese and 5 male geese. The control group was fed with a basal diet and the test group was fed with a diet containing 3% Enteromorpha powder. The trial period lasted for 7 weeks. Results: Our results showed that the laying rate was improved in the test group at each week of trial (p<0.01), and the levels of estradiol in serum and prolactin in ovary were increased compared with the control group (p<0.05). Conclusion: Based on above results, Enteromorpha powder supplementation at 3% could promote reproductive performance during the late laying period of Zi geese. Excited states of 113In have been populated through the heavy-ion fusion evaporation reaction 110Pd(7Li, 4n)113In. A new band with the configuration of a proton d5/2 orbital is identified. Two ΔI = 2 intruder bands, built on the πh11/2 and the πg7/2 orbitals, have been extended to spins (63/2-)ħ and (55/2+)ħ, respectively. The negative-parity πh11/2 intruder band shows a smooth increase in aligned spin, which is attributed to a strong proton-neutron interaction. The properties of the positive-parity πg7/2 band are discussed based on tilted axis cranking model calculations, and the features of the antimagnetic rotation for this band are shown after backbend. Furthermore, the contributions of the two-shears-like mechanism, the neutron (gd)ν shell and the core rotation are investigated for the positive-parity πg7/2 band.

High levels of extracellular xylanase activity (211.79 IU/mg) produced by Paenibacillus sp. NF1 were detected when it was submerged-cultured. After three consecutive purification steps using Octyl-Sepharose, Sephadex G75, and Q-Sepharose columns, a thermostable xylanase (XynNF) was purified to homogeneity and showed a molecular mass of 37 kDa according to SDS-PAGE. The specific activity of the purified XynNF was up to 3,081.05 IU/mg with a 14.55-fold purification. The activity of XynNF was stimulated by Ca2+, Ba2+, DTT, and β-mercaptoethanol, but was inhibited by Fe3+, Zn2+, Fe2+, Cu2+, SDS, and EDTA. The purified XynNF displayed a greater affinity for oat spelt xylan with the maximal enzymatic activity at 60°C and pH 6.0. XynNF, which was shown to be cellulose-free, with high stability at high temperature (70°C-80°C) and low pH range (pH 4.0-7.0), is potentially valuable for various industrial applications. The enzyme hydrolyzed oat spelt xylan to yield mainly xylooligosaccharides (95.8%) of 2-4 degree of polymerization (DP2-4). Moreover, the majority of the xylooligosacharides (DP2- 4) products was xylobiose (61.5%). The thermostable xylanase (XynNF) thus seems potentially usefull in the production of xylooligosaccharides.
