임산부에서 발생한 폐크립토콕쿠스증을 동반한 크립토콕쿠스 수막뇌염 1예

Cryptoccus necoformans는 면역기능이 저하된 환자에서 기회 감염을 일으키는 진균이나 정상인에서도 드물게 질병을 일으킨다. 그러나 임산부에서 폐크립토콕쿠스증을 동반한 크립토콕쿠스 수막염의 보고는 아주 드물다. 저자들은 분만 후에도 악화되는 두통과 의식저하로 내원한 임신 37주의 임산부에서 뇌척수액과 폐조직검사를 통해 폐크립토콕쿠스증을 동반한 크립토콕쿠스 수막뇌염을 진단하고 항진균제를 사용하여 치료하였다. 본 증례처럼 명백한 기저질환이 없는 임산부에서도 크립토콕쿠스 수막염은 발생할 수 있으므로 의심이 되면 뇌척수액검사를 포함한 진단적 검사를 시행하고 적절한 치료를 시작해야한다. 그리고 임산부에서 크립토콕쿠스증이 발생한 경우의 치료에 대하여 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Cryptoccocosis occurs more frequently in immunocompromised hosts such as patients with AIDS, lymphoma, leukemia and other debilitating diseases. Pulmonary cryptococcosis can occur in the absence of any recognized immunodeficiency and cryptococcal meningitis can occur rarely during pregnancy. Although it is extremely rare, we encounter the reports of case of cryptococcal pneumonia and combined cryptococcal meningitis during pregnancy. We present here that 36-year-old pregnant woman, who was previously healthy, with cryptococcal meningoencephalitis and cryptococcal pneumonia was treated with amphotericin B and flucytosine. The maternal outcome was favorable, and there is no evidence of congenital infection in the newborn.

This paper deals with consideration for transient stability of power system The analysis of transient stability is very important because it detects the possibility of large scale outage by system collapse caused system configuration change and load unbalance. Two units YGN 3&4 will be connected to the YGN 1 & 2 switchyard through two 345KV circuits until 1996 because of the nuclear power plant construction according to power demand increment. Therefore it is necessary to study stability analysis, fault capacity calculation and power flow problem in assumption of two units YGN 3&4 operation interconnected with the power system Finally, considerations of the effect of interconnection and the establishment of preservation methods for reliability of stable opration of the power system are included in this paper.

토끼에서 Etofenprox와 Spinosad 합제의 국소자극성 시험

This study was performed to evaluation the skin and eye irritation of etofenprox 8% and spinosad 4% combination in male New Zealand White rabbits. In skin irritation test, the combination of etofenprox and spinosad did not showed any change of body weight but caused slight skin irritation with the P.I.I. (primary irritation index) value 0.25. The etofenprox and spinosad combination showed severe eye irritation 1 h, 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h after ocular treatment, having the A.O.I. (acute ocular irritation) value of 37.3. Therefore, these result indicated that the combination of etofenprox and spinosad might be irritant formulation on eye and skin.

액체크로마토그래피/질량분석법을 이용한 랫트 혈장내의 Surfactin C의 정량법에 관한 연구

Surfactin isolated from Bacillus subtilis has a strong surface tension-lowering activity, together with antiviral, antitumor, fibrinolytic and hypocholesterolemic activities. LC/MS is a simple, rapid and effective technique for the determination of surfactin C in rat serum. The separation of surfactin was achieved on reverse phase column. The mobile phase consisted of 0.1% trifluoracetic acid in water (A) and acetonitrile (B). As a result of analysis of blank rat serum samples, matrix interference was not shown. The values of precision and accuracy were satisfied w the guideline. A newly developed LC/MS method for the determination of surfactin C was successfully applied in its pharmacokinetic analysis.

The present study was carried out to investigate the potential acute toxicity of safflower seed by a single oral dose in ICR mice. Twenty animals of each sex were randomly assigned to four groups of 5 rats each and were administered singly by gavage at dose levels of 0, and 2,500 mg/kg bodyweight. Mortalities, clinical findings, and body weight changes were found and complete gross postmortem examinations were performed. Throughout the study period, no treatment-related deaths were observed. There were no adverse effects in clinical signs, body weight, and gross findings at any dose tested. The results showed that the single oral administration of safflower seed did not cause any toxic effect at the dose levels of 2,500 mg/kg in rats and the minimal lethal dose was considered to be over 2,500 mg/kg body weight for both sexes.

황 첨착 활성탄에 의한 구리제거

This study was carried out to remove copper ion in case of activated carbon impregnated sulphur(ACS) dose and different pH using activated carbon impregnated sulphur that prepared from activated carbon at sulphur dioxide atmosphere. Removal copper ion concentration was increased as increasing the ACS dose when copper ion concentration was 10 mg/L. Optimum dose of ACS 13.3 g ACS/L and maximum removal efficiency was 93%. The results obtained from adsorption experiment in the condition of ACS optimum dose when the pH was 3, 4, 5 respectively was pH 5 was excellent.

각국 장애인차별금지법에서의 고용차별 분석

본 연구는 한국에 있어 장애인 고용차별을 직접적으로 언급하는 법률들이 있으나 법 적용의 실효성과 구제기관의 설치, 입증책임에 대한 분명한 내용을 규정하는 법률이 없기 때문에 고용차별이 계속적으로 발생하고 있으며, 이를 예방하고 고용차별을 근본적으로 개선하기 위해서는 장애차별법을 제정하고 있는 다른 국가나 국제기구 협약에서의 고용차별 내용과 구제기관 및 차별실태를 비교·분석할 필요성이 있으며, 이를 통해 장애인 노동기본권과 관련된 차별금지 및 구제절차 마련 등 정책의 과제 및 방향성을 제시하고자 하는 것이다 따라서 우리나라고용차별을 규정하고 있는 헌법이나 근로기준법, 직업안정법, 남녀고용평등법, 장애인고용촉진 및 직업재활법에서의 차별의 개념과 내용을 분석, 체계화하였다. 또한 각 국의 차별법률은 고용차별의 범주와 기준에 있어서 대륙법계와 영미법계의 법률이 차이가 있어 미국, 영국 호주의 장애차별법을 비교 대상으로 하였으며 UN이나 ILO 등 국제기구의 각종 인권선언이나 장애와 관련된 협약의 내용들도 분석하였다. 여기서 각국의 차별금지 법률들은 차별내용과 기준, 구제기관, 실태를 분석하였으며 UN이나 ILO의 협약은 차별내용과 기준을 분석한 결과 한국의 장애인 고용차별을 방지하기 위해서는 다음과 같은 방안들이 필요한 것으로 분석 되었다. 첫째, 가칭 장애인차별금지법 제정이 필요하다. 둘째, 장애차별을 법적 조치전에 간편하게 해결할 수 있는 전담위원회나 사무국을 설치할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로 노동시장 진입전이나 노동시장에서 일반국민이나 동료 근로자. 고용주들이 갖는 장애인에 대한 인식은 고용차별을 더욱 어렵게 할 수 있으나 이런 인식과 태도에 관한 차별은 법·제도, 행정적인 조치만으로는 해결되기 어려운 문제이기 때문에 범국민이 참여하는 사회운동을 전개할 필요가 있으며 이 운동의 핵심은 장애인의 사회적 이미지를 개선하는 방향이 되어야 할 것으로 나타났다. It is necessary for the individuals who believe they have been discriminated against by an employer because of their disability to establish committee or task force for employment discrimination charge process. 4. To encourage a social movement and facilitate voluntary compliance with the anti-discrimination taws among employers and the public.

자발성 세균성 복막염을 일으킨 그람음성간균의 3세대 세팔로스포린 내성률 변화

The third generation cephalosporin is widely used in treatment of spontaneous bacterial peritonitis (SBP). Resistance to the third generation cephalosporin was associated with poor outcome in patients with SBP. Thus it is necessary to know the changes in resistance rate. We planned to investigate retrospectively on resistance rate of the third generation cephalosporin of gram negative bacteria isolated in patients with SBP, who visited Seoul National University Hospital between 1998 and 2006. The Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute guidelines were applied for antibiotic susceptibility test. A total of 269 consecutive episodes of clinically and microbiologically proven SBP was identified during the study period and 209 cases were caused by gram negative organisms. Among 209 isolates, 22 (10.5%) showed resistance to the third generation cephalosporin. The prevalence of resistance was decreasing during the study period (P=0.014).

회전원통삼중수조의 대류조에 점 열원을 삽입한 후 유체의 내부 온도특성을 알아보기 위해 일정 회전수에서 온도자료를 얻었다. 이 자료의 시각적 표현은 IDL(The Interactive Data Language)를 이용하였다. 실험의 분석결과 열원 가열시 표면 파수는 변화가 없었으나 파의 온도 진폭은 커지고, 마루부분이 넓어지는 경향이 보였으며, 자오면 온도구조에서 열원은 외벽보다는 내벽의 온도를 높이는데 영향이 더 크게 나타났다.
