For that, creating Virtual Reality information and Video Informaion which is related to Soon-sin Lee, especially Gubooksun by using Virtual Reality technique, 3-Degree image manufacture technique, animation manufacture technique, video manufacture and service technique and Internet/Web technique, and then manufacturing and storing them in the digital data type, and carry out Information Service through connecting the system of serving these informations with the Information SuperHighway

Background : Gastric cancer is the most common malignant tumor in Korea. surgical operation is one of the major treatment modalities for gastric cancer patients. Therefore, gastrectomy is one of the most common procedures in General Surgery. There were variation in length of hospital stay and medical treatment for gastrectomy between three surgeons at Asan Medical Center. Clinical pathways have received considerable attention as a tool for recucing the medical practice variation, increasing the efficiency of care process, and improving the quality of care. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of a clinical pathway for gastrectomy in gastric cancer patients. Methods : The clinical pathway for gastrectomy was developed and implemented by a multidisciplinary group in Asan Medical Center. A computerized clinical pathway program was developed and revised after a pilot test. A total of 145 patients underwent gastrectomy by three surgeons at Asan Medical Center. We compared the length of hospital stay, patient satisfaction, and unplanned readmission rate between the pre-pathway group(n=67) and the post-pathway group(n=78). We also investigated the degree of satisfaction among the physicians and nurses who were main end-users of the clinical pathway. Results : The clinical pathway was applied to all target patients. The average length of hospital stay was shortened from 12.7days to 10.6days(p<0.01). The degree of patient satisfaction with the care process changed from 90.3% to 89.2% after the implementation of the clinical pathway, but the difference was of satistically significant(p=0.761). Unplanned readmission rate was 2.9% in the pre-pathway group. More than 90% of physicians and nurses answered that the clinical pathway had been a useful tool in their medical practice. Conclusions : The findings of the study demonstrated that implementation of the clinical pathway for gastrectomy produced substantial reduction in the length of hospital stay while improving the quality of patient outcomes. The computerized clinical pathway program can be used as one of the powerful patient management tools for reducing the practice variations and increasing the efficiency of care process in Korea hospital settings.

종합건강 피검진자의 건강증진 행위와 관련요인

The purpose of this study was to identify the health promotion behavior and its related factors of persons who wanted a comprehensive health check-up in order to provide a basis for health education to promote health enhancing behavior. Study variables were induced from Pender's Health Promotion Model. The subjects were 160 persons who had a check-up at the health promotion center in a university hospital in Tae-Gu, between September 8 and 22. 1998. The following instruments were used in the study : Lee Tae Wha's Health Promoting Life-style Profile. Park Chaff Soon's Self-efficacy Instrument and Moon Jeong Soon's Perceived Benefit and Barrier Instrument. Data was collected by self-reporting questionnaire. Analysis of the data was done by SAS program, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson-Correlation Coefficient. The results of this study were as follows. 1. The average score for the health-promotion behavior was 104.64. In the subcategories, self-actualization showed the highest degree of performance and physical exercise showed the lowest degree of performance. 2. In the relation of general characteristics of subjects to the level of health-promoting behavior, the male, the married, the group with several symptoms showed a high level of health-promoting behavior. 3. The relationship between the degree of performance in health-promotion behavior and its correlates were as follows : Self-efficacy was positively correlated to health promotion behavior, while the perceived barrier was correlated negatively. But the perceived benefit did not show a significant correlation with health promotion behavior. Results suggest that the development of programs with strategies to strengthen doing physical exercise and concerning health, increase self-efficacy and exclude the barriers to health promotion is recommended to individuals seeking a comprehensive health check-up.

Emphysematous cystitis is an uncommon disease in which bacterias produce gas within the bladder wall and surrounding tissue. Patients with diabetes, neurogenic bladder and chronic urinary tract infection are predisposed to the disease. It is usually caused by E.coli and Klebsiella. Severity of illness ranges from an asymtomatic condition to life threatening cystitis. Succesful management depends on early diagnosis with correction of underlying causes, administration of appropriate antibiotics, establishment of adequate bladder drainage and surgical excision of involved tissue when required. We report a case of 52-year-old woman who did not compain of symtoms of cystitis but epigastric pain, nausea, and vomitting. Emphysematous cystitis was revealed on the abdominal X-ray series incidentally. CT scans of the pelvis showed mottled gas bubble within the bladder. After treatment, the symtoms subsided and plain abdominal film showed no evidence of gas shadow in the pelvic cavity.

The purpose of present study was to evaluate the polymerization shrinkage stress and amount of linear shrinkage of composites and compomers for posterior restoration. For this purpose, linear polymerization shrinkage and polymerization stress were measured. For linear polymerization shrinkage and polymerization stress measurement, custom made Linometer (R&B, Daejon, Korea) and Stress measuring machine was used (R&B, Daejon, Korea). Compositers and compomers were evaluated; Dyract AP (Dentsply Detrey, Gumbh, German) Z100 (3M Dental Products, St. Paul, USA) Pyramid (Bisco, Schaumburg, USA) Synergy Compact (Coltene, Altstatten, Switzerland), Heliomolar (Vivadent/Ivoclar, Liechtenstein), and Compoglass (Vivadent Ivoclar/Liechtenstein) were used. 15 measurements were made for each material. Linear polymerization shrinkage or polymerization stress for each material was compared with one way ANOVA with Tukey at 95% levels of confidence. 그림책『거울속으로』에 나타난 시뮬라크르 분석

"글 없는 그림책(Wordless Picture Book)"은 글과 그림의 유기적 관계가 중요하다고 판단되는 이야기 그림책과는 다른 유형의 소통형식을 취하고 있다. 이 매체는 오로지 시각적 조형요소로만 독자와의 소통을 요구하고 있기 때문에, 조형예술분야의 연구에 적용되는 철학, 예술심리, 기호학 등의 관점에서 일종의 '시각적 조형언어'로서의 기능 측면에서도 분석대상이 될 수 있다고 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 한국작가가 창작한 글 없는 그림책 중 이수지의『거울속으로』을 연구대상으로 채택했다. 작품 속 서사구조의 면밀한 분석을 위해 시모어 채트만의 서사이론 및 분석구조와, 철학 개념인 '시뮬라크르' 에 주목했던 장 보드리야르의 관점을 연구분석의 근거를 뒷받침 해줄 이론으로 적용했다. 분석결과, 글 없는 그림책『거울속으로』는 채트만의 서사 구성요소를 모두 갖추고 있었다. 그리고 이야기에 등장하는 주인공 '여자아이'의 '반사상'은 원본의 행동을 모방하다 독립적으로 행동하기 시작하며, 마침내 원본을 초월하여 또 다른 원본으로 대체되는 시뮬라크르 요소를 시사해주고 있다는 것을 증명할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 의의는 글 없는 그림책의 시각적 요소와 그 구조에 대한 의미해석을 예술작품 해석의 근거가 되고 있는 '시물라크르'관점의 분석대상 범위에 대한 확장과, 그 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다는 점이다. "Wordless Picture book" have another communication patterns different to Story book which require importance that close relationship between text and image. This particular book can be the subject of analysis finding view of 'Visual language' that have applied to studies of formative art (ger. Bildende Kunst) focusing on Philosophy, Art Psychology and Semiotics. Because this medium suggests communicate with readers having only visual elements. 'The mirror', korean picture book artist Suzy Lee's one of wordless picture book in The Border Trilogy, was adopted as a subject of analysis in this study. For this study, the first being Seymour Chatman who studied Narrative theory, Analytical structure and the second being Jean Baudrillard who studied Philosophy about Simulacre, two philosopher's theory was applied to this thesis. As a result of appling the theories, 'The mirror' has clear descriptive structure and noticeable elements about Simulacre contentions from Baudrillard even though it is a wordless picture book. 'The girl' who appeared in this book was divided into two figures : One is 'The real' and the other is 'The copy'. At first, The copy just followed everything of the real, but soon, she started to act independently of the original. The meaning of this study is finding possibilities to expand the subject of analysis and to interpret the Visual elements found in the wordless picture book by applying perspective of 'Simulacre' basis for interpretation of Artworks.

Today human needs for health promotion and maintenance are increasing. The nursing progression has a great responsibility for helping clients to practice good health behavior. self efficacy was found to be potent predictor in initiating and maintaining the health-related behavior. Therefore, the concept is important in nursig intervention for change of health behavior. The purpose of this paper was to analyze and clarify the meaning of the concept, self efficacy. This study used Walder & Avant's process of concept analysis. Critical attributes of self efficacy were : 1) positive perception of his won capability; 2) intrapersonal strength; 3) possibility of being learned; 4) individuality; 5) specificity; 6) generalizability. Antecedents of self efficacy consist of those facts that 1) new situation occurs; 2) individuals have needs to change the new situation; 3) there are some required actions in new situation. Consequences occurring as a result of self efficacy consist of those facts that 1) individual initiates the of failure; 5) cope with the situation; 6) controls the situation; 7) the level of self efficacy is enhanced; 8) the level of self-esteem is enhanced.
