Accuracy on the Edge Detection of Topography for Digital Map Manufacture

Currently, digital maps in the metropolitan area are supposed to be revised and renewed every two years, but it is difficulty for the renewal of current information to keep pace with the quickly changing society and so, one of the alternative methods being discussed is a digital map produced using high resolution satellites. The biggest problem in the production of digital maps using high resolution satellite images is the difficulty of production in vector resource format through edge detection of satellite images, a Raster data. In this study, topographical boundaries were detected through edge detection of the satellite image, and after vectorliezing using the screen digitizing method, the results were evaluated and compared to the digital map from the NGII(National Geographic Information Institute) for accuracy.

Purpose: The purpose of this descriptive study was conducted to investigate the health condition and satisfaction for health examination of students in elementary school. Method: The subjects for this study were 113 students, from an elementary school in W, Kyung-Buk Province. The health condition and satisfaction Questionnaire made by Kyung-Buk Education Office(2007) and modified by authors of this study were used to measure health condition and satisfaction. The data were collected from Dec. 21 to Dec. 13, 2009 using questionnaire with self reported and records of the school health. Data was analysed by x 2-test, independent t-test and ANOVA with SPSS WIN 17.0. Result: There were no statistically significant differences in the reported satisfaction scores of elementary school children regarding health examinations either by gender (male: 40.13 ± 3.90, female: 39.95 ± 4.50)or economic conditions (low: 41.00 ± 2.3, upper: 40.53 ± 4.9, middle: 39.66 ± 4.1). Conclusion: The findings in this study did not support differences in satisfaction scores either by gender or level of income relative to health examination. Future research may utilize a qualitative approach to explore differences among school.

Abstract - In this thesis, we propose a QoS supporting method on wireless ad hoc-based active network for improving reliability. On the loss of route path, the existing DSR routing protocol has several problems with wireless network communication because of decease of data reception rate and increase of network load. The proposed method improves reliability of data transfer by using functions of active network. That is, by using functions of active nodes and active packets, the proposed method supports QoS with reservation transfer method that saves data packets on transfer at intermediate nodes with lost path and then re-transmit the packets after route reconfiguration.

본 연구는 분말상 원료(전분, 대두분)의 저장유통시 품질변화를 건전성과 안전성 측면에서 검토하여 식품의 기준 ·규격 설정f.」 합지적으로 반영하고자 하였다. 전분과 패두분의 이물을 검사하고, 2종 대두분(중국산, 미국산)을 ?0일간 IS'c와 30t에 저장하면서 성상, 수분, 산가, 과산화물가, 지방산 조성,아플라톡신 BB의 생성여부를 분석하였다. 중국산 대두분 30'』 저장군에서 50일 이후 곰팡이가 발생한 것 이외에 모든 시료에서 양호한 성상을 나타내었고, 전분과 대두닥 모든 시료에서 이물은 검출되지 않았다. 산가는 중국산과 미국산 시료간에 편차를 보여 증국산 30"C, 50일 저장시료에서 약 10배끙도 증가하였고, 과산화물가는 저장 90일후 15'E 저장군은 약 2.3배, 30'c 저장군은 3배정도 증가하였다. 대두분의 주요 지방산은 linoleic acidf18. 2), oleic acid(18 : 1), palmitic acid(16 : 0)이었으며, 3개월 저장에 따른 지방산 함량의 변화는 미미하였다. 아플라톡신 B₁은 모든 시료에서 검출되지 않았다. The objective of this study was to investigate auality changes of type raw materials(starch, soy flour) during various storage conditions. Starchflour(source of China, U.S.A) were slfred under two temperature(15'C, 30'c) forSensory evaluation, (o.reign material test, moisture content, acid value, peroxide ualue,composition, aflatorin Bi were analyzed. China soy flour(stor·ed 30'f) was contaminated by fungj on 50 days. Except for soy flour contardnated by fungi, sensory characteristics were not changed and foreign mater;als were notdetected. Acid value of China soy flour(stored at 30'C, 90 days) was about 10 times higherlevel before storage and acid value was more influenced by source(China, USA). Peroxide valuewas in proportion with the storage period slightly. The major fatty acid of soy flour waslinoleic acid(18 . 2), an(3 the change of fatty acid composition was not observed. Aflatoxlrl Blwas not detected.

An Ac-type Plasma Display Panel (PDP) operating with Ne-Ar(0.1%) Penning mixture gas is fabicated. The characterics of the panel with electrodes covered with thin and thick dielectric layers are studied. The brightness of the Neon-orange light emitted by the panel measured as function of applied voltage and frequency. As an application, a graphic display system equipped with PDP showing still and moving pictures is made.

In this study, the elevational distribution of breeding birds in Seoraksan National Park, Korea was investigated. Forty-six species of birds were documented from line transect surveys taken from Seorakdong at 230 m above sea level (a.s.l.) to the Daechungbong summit at 1708 m asl. Birdspecies richness and diversity were highest in Seorakdong and lowest at the Daechungbong summit. As elevation increased, bird species richness and diversity decreased, with a humped-shape trend being observed between 700 m and 1200 m a.s.l. Stepwise analyses revealed that breeding bird species diversity indices were significantly negatively correlated with elevation (r<sup>2</sup> = 0.327, P < 0.001) and positively correlated with vegetational coverage (r<sup>2</sup> = 0.324, P = 0.046). Higher elevations supported fewer birds than low and intermediate elevations. Projections at the local scale, including data on behavior and habitat use by birds, will be necessary for optimal conservation and management of the bird communities in Seoraksan National Park.

In this paper, we evaluated two main QoS supporting routing protocol on wireless ad hoc network. At presence, wireless mobile communication focuses on how to efficiently support mobility of users more than QoS guarantee. However, in order to satisfy requirement of various applications which have been or will be served, QoS support service between source and destination becoming a very important issue. Of all routing protocols, DSR and AODV are very important routing protocol in MANET. So we simulated DSR and AODV QoS Routing Protocol Through simulation evaluation tool NS(Network Simulation) based on various environments.

Recently technological advances have made multimedia on-demand services, such as movies-on-demand and home-shopping, important to the customer market. One of the most challenging aspect of this type of service is to provide on-demand access, that is, users can view the movie either instanteneously or within a small and reasonable latency upon request. One way to reduce the latency is to simply purchase more disk. A more interesting and more economical approach might be to either attempt to improve the data layout and scheduling techniques or to reduce the I/O demand of each request in service through "sharing" of data between requests for the same object. There are several approaches to reducing the I/O demand on the storage server through sharing. Batching and adaptive piggybacking are studing as general I/O bandwidth reduction policies frequently. In this paper, both batching and simple piggybacking performances are analyzed by a simulation, and the performance between batching and simple piggybacking is compared.
RTK GPS 측량에 의한 토공량 산정과 DTM생성에 관한 연구

This paper deals with the calculation of earth volume in combination with RTK GPS and TS in the development district of residential land. It is the interpolation methods, the height , and the formula of volume calculation that the earth volume is calculated to compare with RTK and TS. As a result of comparing RTK with TS in the horizontal and vertical positions, the differences is 0.02m, 0.032m, and 0.100m at X, Y, and h. Through this results, the accuracy of RTK was confirmed, and took the average cut minus fill. The result was that TS has a lot of cut volume, and RTK has a lot of fill volume. and The cut and fill volume with RTK is much similar to that with TS, so it is applicable to the calculation of earth-volume. It is expected that RTK is applicable to a job site in no time and is the basis on the construction of DTM(Digital Terrain Model), the geometric correction of satellite imagery, and the construction of GIS database.
