β-naphthol 유도체 합성 및 항종양활성 검토

Sythesis of β-naphthol derivatives and their anti-tumor activity were investigated. Binaphthol 1 obtained from β-naphthol by oxidative C-C bond formation(phenoloxydation) was converted into its derivatives. Treatment of 1 with POCl_3 followed by aziridine introduction gave phosphoryl aziridine 3. Also, diaziridine 5 was obtained from 1 by chlorination and successive aziridine introdution. Typical chemical transformation of 1 to obtain ester-type afforded compound 7 and 8. Compound 5 was the most effective derivative of the tested compounds on their anti-tumor activity.

Cellulose 생합성균주 Acetobacter sp. CBⅡ의 분리 및 특성

The strain of cellulose-producing CBⅡ was isolated from the traditionally fermented persimmon vinegar, and identified as Acetobacter sp. CBⅡ with respect to physiological and biochemical characteristics. The isolated strain was cultivated statically in broth culture, a thick cellulose pellicle was formed. It was found that the strain was fluorecenced with UV light when the strain was cultivated agar medium contained Tinopal. The strain produced acetic acid from ethanol, and then decomposed acetate to CO₂ and H₂O. Capacity of cellulose biosynthesis from isolated strain was compared with Acetobacter xylinum ATCC 53582. The cellulose produced by the isolated strain was purified and cegraded by HCl. The released sugar was separated on thin layer chromatograpy(TLC) consistent with the degradation product of native cellulose.

만성 간질환에 대한 DDB(Biphenyl Dimethyl Dicaboxylate)의 임상적 효과

To investigate the effects of short-term administration of DDB(Biphenyl Dimethyl Dicarboxylate) for decreasing elevated serum aminotransferase levels in chronic liver diseases, authors applied 3 capsules of DDB per day at each meal time for 35 patients and compared with 35 patients treated with other conservative management. The following results were obtained. 1. Serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels significantly decreased from 247.1± 180.0 IU/L of pretreatment level to 96.6±126.0 IU/L, 61.1±62.7 IU/L and 38.0±26.8 IU/L after 1, 3 and 6 months of treatment(p<0.05) and effective rates were observed in 60.0%, 71.4% and 88.6% of patients after 1, 3 and 6 months of treatment. 2. Serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST) levels decreased also significantly from 167.8±96.9 IU/L of pretreatment levels to 124.4±155.0 IU/L, 77.9±49.6 IU/L, 60.6± 46.9 IU/L after 1, 3 and 6 months of treatment(p<0.05), but decreasing pattern of serum AST was less significant than that of serum ALT. 3. No significant difference were observed in the serum ALT and AST changes according to the cause and duration of hepatitis. 4. No significant adverse effects were observed in whole patients treated with DDB. It is suggested that small dose administration of DDB is effective for decreasing serum aminotrans ferase levels in chronic liver disease in which other conservative management was not effective.

More and more companies are using characters in their ads and marketing activity to make a strong image of their product and to link favorable attitudes on characters to their products. However, the successful marketing in using characters might depend on the various factors such as appropriate selection of characters and involvement level in purchasing decision.

오이의 생장 및 수량에 미치는 키토산의 효과

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of chitosan, oligosaccharides on root and shoot growth promotion and fruit harvest of cucumber. Chitosan solution was made by hydrolysis with enzyme, and diluted in 1,000(50ppm), 3,000(16.7ppm), 5,000(10ppm) and 7,000(7ppm) times. 7,000 times diluted chitosan solution showed the best results on plant height, stem diameter, number of leave, leaf area, and leaf and petiole fresh weight, but fresh stem weight was inhibited in all concentrations of chitosan solution. Also fruit yield was increased 24.7% in 7,000 times diluted chitosan solution.

This paper presents the design and implementation of a receiver operating between a rotary machine encoder and DSP. The receiver connects with the encoder using 1 bit serial data and DSP using 16 bits bus line. The receiver and encoder use the different operating frequency each other. We suggest a new apparatus and method of synchronized code for header detection in 1bit serial communication. The system operating frequency can be changed into 20MHz or 60MHz by using the external port such as 'clk_select'.

상악제1소구치에서 전부도재관의 finish line형태에 따른 파절강도와 웅력 분포에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to compare the fracture resistance of the IPS Empress ceramic crown with 1.0mm width rounded shoulder, which is usually recommended in all ceramic crown, and 0.5mm width chamfer finish lines on the maxillary first premolar. 30 sound maxillary first premolars were selected and then storaged in 5% NaOCl and saline. 15 teeth were performed preparation for each group(1.0mm rounded shoulder, 0.5mm chamfer). After 30 stone dies were made for each group, the IPS Empress ceramic crowns were fabricated and cemented with resin cement(Bistite resin cement, Tokuyama Soda Co. LTD., Japan) on the natural teeth. The cemented crowns were mounted on the positioning jig and the universal testing machine(Zwick Z020, Zwick Co., Germany)was used to measure the fracture strength, with stress loading on the occlusal surface between buccal and lingual cusp. And also, three-dimensional finite element model was used to measure the stress distribution with two types of the finish lines(1.0mm rounded shoulder, 0.5mm chamfer) and two loading conditions(both buccal and lingual cusp inclination, lingual cusp inclination only). The result of the this study were as follows. 1. In the fracture resistance experiment according to the finish line, the mean fracture strength of rounded shoulder(842N) showed higher value than that of the chamfer(590N) (p<0.05). 2. In the three dimensional finite element analysis of all ceramic crown, metal die and natural teeth model did not show any differences in stress distribution between finish lines. 3. Generally, when force was loaded on the occlusal inclination of buccal and lingual cusp, the stress was concentrated on the loading point and the central groove of occlusal surface. 4. When force was loaded only on the occlusal inclination of lingual cusp, the stress was concentrated on the lingual finish line and loading point.

신체화장애 환자의 스트레스 대처방식 및 심리적 특성

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the stress coping strategies and psychological charactehstics, such as combined psychopathology and tendency of symptom interpretation, in patients with somatization disorder. Methods : Thirty patients meeting the criteria of DSM-IV somatization disorder were compared with thirty controls. We evaluated the subjects using Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R), Somato-Sensory Amplification Scale (SSAS), Symptom Interpretation Questionnaire (SIQ), and The Ways of Stress Coping Questionnaire (SCQ). Independent t-test and Pearson correlation analysis were used. Results : From the results of SCL-90-R subscales, the scores of somatization, obsession-compulsion, depression, anxiety, and psychoticism were significantly higher in patients with somatization disorder than nonnal controls. Somatization disorder patients had greater amplification of physical sensation in SSAS and significantly higher score in physical interpretation of SIQ compared with psychological or environmental interpretation, In the SCQ of somatization disorder patients, we observed generallylower levels of total coping scores than the control group and significant positive correlation between passive coping style of SCQ and psychological interpretation of SIQ. Conclusion : These results show that patients with somatization disorder have various psychopathology, greater amplification of physical sensation, physical interpretation tendency of symptoms, and insufficient copying strategy.

벼 재배기간중 전남동부지역 농촌하천의 수질과 분포초종

전남 동부권에 위치하는 농경지 주변 4개 하천에 대하여 벼 재배기간을 전후한 시기에 하천수질의 특성과 분포하는 초종을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 하천수질 특성은 다양하였으며 조사기간중 각 하천수의 pH는 6.5~8.3 범위였고, EC는 벌교천(162~4,910 μS/cm)에서 가장 높았으며 보성천(114.7~286.6 μS/cm), 송광천(74.8~147.4 μS/cm), 이사천(61.6~82.1 μS/cm)순이었다. 조사기간중 총질소 함량은 보성천(1.9~7.4 mg/L), 벌교천(2.1~3.9 mg/L), 송광천(2.4~3.4 mg/L), 이사천(1.7~2.6 mg/L)순으로 호소수질 환경기준 1등급(0.2 mg/L)과 농업용수 수질기준(1 mg/L)을 모두 초과하였다. 그 밖의 대부분 조사항목(K, Ca, Mg, Na, Cl^- 등)은 하천에 따른 함유량 고저 차이는 있었으나 모내기를 전후한 시기에 영양염류 함량이 가장 높게 나타나 보성천에서는 5월, 송광천과 이사천에서는 6월이었다. 4개 하천의 조사지점에서 관찰된 초종수는 모두 16과 30종이었으며 송광천, 보성천, 이사천, 벌교천에서 각각 18종, 19종, 15종 및 5종으로서 다년생은 17종, 일년생과 2년생은 13종이 출현하였다. 침수성 초종은 검정말, 말즘, 물수세미, 부유성 초종은 개구리밥과 좀개구리밥, 추수성 초종은 갈대, 고마리, 미나리, 여뀌, 줄 등이 관찰되었다. 물가와 주변에서는 개구리자리, 개피, 달뿌리풀, 돌소리쟁이, 물억새, 미국가막사리, 바늘골, 방동바니대가리, 뱀딸기, 사마귀풀, 삿갓사초, 살갈퀴, 선피막이, 소리쟁이, 쇠방동사니, 여뀌바늘, 큰도꼬마리, 토끼풀, 환삼덩쿨, 황새냉이 등의 20종이 관찰되었으며 그 중 고마리, 소리쟁이, 환삼덩쿨은 하천의 모든 조사지점에 출현하였다. The characteristic of the quality of stream water and the nlparlan vegetation during rice cultivation in the rural area of the eastern Jeonnam province was surveyed from April to November, 2000. The water quality of the streams during rice cultivation was variable. The pH of these water bodies ranged from 6.5~83. Electro conductivity (EC) at each water body ranged from 162~4,910 μS/cm for Beolgyo-cheon, 114.7~286.6 μS/cm for Boseong-cheon, 74.8~147 μS/cm for heon, and 61.6~82.1 μS/cm for Isa-cheon. Total nitrogen and other parameters (K, Ca, Mg, Na, CT, SS) were higher at May (Boseong-cheon) through June (Songgwang-cheon, Isa-cheon) during the transplanting season than these same parameters at August, October and November. Thirty weed species of sixteen families were found in the survey areas of Songgwang-cheon, Boseong-cheon, Isa-cheon and Beolgyo-cheon. Nine annual weeds, four biennial weeds, and seventeen perennial weeds were found, several different life forms were identified. Of those species three were submerged, two were free floating, five were emerged, and twenty were water-side weeds.

In January 1983, the writer visited a few universites in Japan to survey the recent trend of studies in cultural and social Sciences. At that time what I researched is as follows; In Japan, many a learned society has been organized and the research activities were very lively. Mass publication of scientific periodicals and prompt translation of foreign writings showed the maturity of scientific atmosphere. It true that their study of literature has been performed on the basis of positivism since 1930'. But now Structuralism which consider's literary works as one organic unity of parts became the main basis of literary studies. And, Learned Society of Educational Law has been organized in Japan. In consequence, the level of researches in educational law could be remarkably high. So, it is necessary for us to study the law of education. For, to make it better, we must know not only the universal principles of education but also specific ones derived from the peculiar characteristics of Korean education. At the same time, in Japan, Department of the Law of Industrial Administration was established in 14 universities including Japan University. And with the help of it, companies could improve the efficiency in dealing with judicial affairs related with industrial administration. So, to be a winner in the international trade competition, it is also required for us to study the judicial affairs of industrial administration.
