        발효조를 이용한 Monascus anka의 적색소와 황색소의 생산

        Monascus anka를 이용하여 천연식용색소를 대량생산하기 위한 방법을 개발하기 위하여 발효조를 이용하여 적색소와 황색소의 색소생산의 최적 배양 조건과 생산된 색소의 색깔 특성을 조사하였다. Monascus anka 적색소와 황색소를 생산하였는데, 이들 색소는 균체내색소와 균체외 색소로 구분되었다. 균체의 적색소(ERP)는 494nm에서, 균체외 황색소(EYP)는 380nm에서, 균체내 적색소(IRP)는 506nm에서 그리고 균체내 황색소(IYP)는 388nm에서 최대 흡광도를 나타냈다. 적색소와 황색소 생산, 색조의 특성 및 균체증식력을 배양 온도, pH, 쌀가루 농도, peptone 농도, magnesium sulfate 농도, 통기량 및 교반속도에 대하여 조사한 결과 적색소 생산력은 30℃, 초기 pH 6.0, 쌀가루 농도 3~5%, peptone 농도 0.05%, magnesium sulfate 농도 0.25%, 통기량 0.1vvm 교반속도 300rpm의 조건에서 최대치를 보였으며, 이때 ERP, EYP, IRP 및 IYP는 각각 A_494nm 0.84, A_380 nm 0.71, A_506 nm 1.18, A_388 nm 1.10, L값은 각각 29.40, 6.44, 34,98, 8.94, a값은 각각 5.76, -1.08, 11.83, -1.55, b값은 각각 18-19, 3.41 27.26, 6.16 그리고 균체량은 7.4 g/l을 보였다. 또한 황색소 생산력은 온도의 경우 적색소 생산을 위한 최적온도 보다 높은 35℃ 부근에서 우수하였으며 초기 pH와 쌀가루 농도는 적색소 생산을 위한 최적조건과 같았고, 질소원과 무기염의 농도가 높을수록 그리고 통기량이 많을수록 황색소 생산력이 우수하였다. 적색소와 황색소 생산을 위한 발효조의 교반속도는 100~300 rpm이 적합하였다. Mokpo National University Chonnam, 534-729, Korea - In order to develop the method for mass production of natural food colorant from Monascus anka, optimum cultivation conditions for producing red and yellow pigments by cultivating the mold in a jar fermenter and their color characteristics were investigated. The mold produced red and yellow pigments both intracellularly and extracellularly. These pigments showed unique light absorption characteristics with maximum absorption of 494, 380, 506, and 388 nm for extracellular red pigment (ERP), extracellular yellow pigment (EYP), intracellular red pigment (IRP), and intracellular yellow pigment (IYP), respectively. Optimum conditions for producing red pigments were found to be temperature 30℃, initial pH 6.0, rice powder 3~5%, peptone 0.05%, magnesium sulfate 0.25%, aeration rate 0.1vvm. Optimum temperature for producing yellow pigments was around 35℃ which is higher than that of producing red pigments. The initial pH rice powder concentration for producing yellow pigments were the same as those of producing red pigments. The higher concentration of nitrogen source and inorganic salt, aeration rate, the more the yellow pigments were produced. Them optimum agitation speed was 100~300 rpm for pigment production.

      • 암반지반에서의 지하터널의 굴착에 대한 응력해석

        암반 안에서 지하터널을 굴착하는 공사가 지하철 공사등에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 사실이다. 그러나 공사를 하기 이전에 이에 대한 설계를 하여야 하므로 터널의 공사순서에 따른 암반의 변형과 응력해석이 앞서야 한다. 암반 굴착시 응력해석을 탄성이론에 근거를 두어 연속체로서 해석을 하는 방법이 있으나 실제로는 암반이 균질이 아니므로 측청치와는 오차가 큰 편이다. 본 논문에서는 근래에 널리 사용되는 유한요소법(Finite Element Method)을 사용하여 이에 대한 이론과 해법을 고찰하고자 한다. This is the paper that is concerned of excavation of under-ground of rock. It is difficult that the mesurement of stresses in the under ground rock before that is excavated. Because of that reasion I would analylise the under ground excavation using finite element method for using general purpose.

        난치성 급성 혼합형 백혈병 환자에 동반된 수포성 괴저성 농피증 1예

        괴저성 농피증(pyoderma gangrenosum)은 드물게 발생하는 궤양성 피부질환으로 반수이상에서 궤양성 대장염, 류마티스성 관절염, 코론병, 만성 활동성간염 및 백혈병 같은 전신질환을 동반한다. 저자들은 난치성 급성 혼합형 백혈병에 동반한 수포성 괴저성 농피증의 드문 1 예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Pyoderma gangrenosum is a neutrophilic dermatosis that may be associated acute leukemia. We report a case of pyoderma gangrenosum associated refractory acute biphenotypic leukemia wherein the malignant cells show a phenotype specific for myelogenous and lymphocytic leukemia. Histopathologic examination revealed moderate perivascular infiltrate consisting mainly of neutrophils and lymphocytes without involvement of leukemic cells in the skin lesions. Treatment with systemic steroid was followed by a characteristically rapid healing of the skin lesions.

Never drink alcohol or use drugs when you're swimming or boating. 3. Always check the water depth. Walk in from shore or ease in from the dock or the edge of the pool. 4. Know the limits of your own swimming abilities. If you're a good swimmers, don't tempt nonswimmers or beginner swimmers to try to keep up with you. 5. Keep any eye on younger swimmers at all times. 6. Learn the proper way to dive in the water safely. Follow guidelines for safe diving. 7. Follow the lifeguards instructions and respect their judgment, Never fake an Emergency. Obey all swimming rules.

      • 만성 화농성 중이염의 세균학적 고찰

        Background and Objectives : Chronic suppurative otitis media is one of the frequent diseases in otolaryngologic field. It is important to choose of antibiotics in the management of infectious disease. But the organisms in infections have been changed and resistance to antibiotics has been grown as the development of antibiotics has been achieved. And so it has been necessary to recognize the changes of organisms and resistance in antibiotics. Our study was performed to identify the pathogens isolated from discharges in chronic otitis media and evaluate the antibiotic agents, to recognize the change of to resistance to·antibiotic agents and to use the appropriate anitiotics. Materials and Methods : Retrospectively, authors reviewed the backeriologic study of 114 cases of chronic suppurative otitis media who visited the Department of Otolaryngology, Soonchunhyang University in Seoul from Nov. 1996 to Oct. 1999 and analyzed 101 strains and its sensitivity test to various antibiotics. Result : In 93 cases in which pathogenic organism was isolated, single infection was 85 cases(91.4%) and mixed infection was 8 cases(8.6%). The most frequent pathogenic organism was Staphylococcus aureus(59.4%), Pseudomonas aeruginosa(13.9%), Providencia(4.8%), Alcaligenes(3.0%) and Streptococcus pneumoniae(2.9%) were the next. Methicilline-Resistance Staphylococcus aureus was 34 cases(57.6%) of Staphylococcus aureus. Staphylococcus aureus was sensitive to Vancomycin(96.7%), Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole (57.6%), Cefuroxime(42.4%) and Ciprofloxacin(40.7%) but resistant to Penicillin(94.9%). Pseudomonas aeruginosa was sentitive Amikacin(100%), Ciprofloxacin(100%) and Gentamicin(67%). Conclusion : As MRSA recently was wide spread in community accquired infection as well as nosocomial infection, we must consider strict control of MRSA.

      • 益胃升陽湯 및 加減方이 家兎의 摘出腸管 運動에 미치는 影響

        In order to investigate the action of Radix Bupleuri and Radix Cimicifugae in Yikwiserugyangtang(益胃升陽湯), Yikwiseungyangtang was divided into six samples : Sample Ⅰ : Yikwiseungyangtang Sample Ⅱ : Water extract of Yikwiseungyangtang excluded R.Bupleuri and R.Cimicifugae. Sample Ⅲ : Water extract of Yikwiseungyangtang excluded R.Cimicifugae. Sample Ⅳ : Water extract of Yikwiseungyangtang excluded R.Bupleuri. Sample Ⅴ : Water extract of Yikwiseungyangtang increased R.Bupleuri and R.Cimicifugae to 3.75g Sample Ⅵ : Water extract of R.Bupleuri and R.Cimicifuage. Effects of Yikwiseungyangtang and its variants on the contractile force of isolated rabbit ileums are as follows : 1. Yikwiseungyangtang was significantly increased the contractile force of isolated rabbits ileum. 2. The contractile of Yikwiseungyangtang was significantly inhibited by atropine. 3. The contractile force of Yikwiseungyangtang was not inhibited by cyproheptadine. 4. In the contraction of Norepinephrine(10^-3M), Sample Ⅱ, Sample Ⅵ and Sample Ⅴ were increased the contractile force than that of Sample Ⅰ. 5. In the contraction of acetylcholine (10^-3M), no change observed in contractile force than that of Sample Ⅰ.

      • 전하 제어법을 이용한 압전 액추에이터의 이력저감

        This paper presents a method to reduce hysteresis in multilayer ceramic actuator by connecting the actuator with a capacitor in a series circuit. The change in hysteresis with respect to the capacitor was examined. 0.2Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O₃-0.8Pb(Zr_(0.475)Ti_(0.525)) O₃ ceramic material was used as a piezoelectric material for the actuator. Displacement of the actuator was measured in a capacitive gap sensor measuring system. In case of inserting a capacitor in a total circuit, hysteresis became dramatically decreased, and then finally the hysteresis value can be reduced below 0.2%. It was found in this present study that reducing the hysteresis in the actuator is dependent upon the characteristics of the capacitor in total circuit and also operating frequency

        Ar과 H_2 혼합 플라즈마 리플로우에 의한 무플럭스 솔더 범프 플립칩 패키지 제조에 관한 연구

        A fluxless reflow process for solder bump flip chip package was attempted to protect environment using Ar+10%H_2 plasma. The 100 ㎛-diameter Sn-3.5 mass%Ag solder balls were bonded to 250 ㎛ pitch Cu/Ni under bump metallurgy (UBM) pads by laser ball bonding method. Then, Sn-3.5Ag solder balls were reflowed in Ar+H_2 plasma. The plasma reflow time and power conditions to show the optimum bump shear strength and shape were 40s at 100 W and 20s at 200 W. During plasma reflow, the solder bump reshaped and the crater on the top of bump disappeared. The bump shear strength increased as the Ni_3Sn_4 intetmetallic compounds formed in the initial reflow stage but began to degrease as coarse Cu-Ni-Sn ternary intermetallic compounds formed at the solder/UBM interface. As the plasma reflow time increased, the fracture mode changed from ductile fracture within the solder to the fracture at the solder/UBM interface. The off-centered bumps self-aligned to patterned UBM pads during plasma reflow.
