        蔘朮調中湯 및 蔘朮調中湯 合 三拗湯 煎湯液이 家兎의 血漿Cortisol에 미치는 影響

        To evaluate the effects of Samchuljojungtang (SJT) and samchljojungtang(SJT) add'samyotang(ST) water extract on the plasma cortisol concentration, experiment performed in the rabbit. The results obtained were as follows: 1. No change observed in the plasma cortisol concentration after intravenous administration of SJT water extract at the doses of 0.2㎖/kg used, while large dose of water extract significantly increased these parameter. 2. Intravenous administration of SJT add ST water extract at the dose of 0.2㎖/kg remarkably increased plasma cortisol concentration form 60 to 120 minutes. 3. Intravenous administration of SJT add ST water extract at the dose of 0.4㎖/kg significantly increased plasma cortisol concentration. These results suggest that anti-asthma and caugh effect of SJT and SJT add'ST water extract may be related with the increment of plasma cortisol.

        It is well known that Oriental medicine has a characteristic system of theory and superior remedial value. The purpose of this study is to elucidate the vague Oriental medical concepts for its objectification and clinical application. Han and Yeal were recognized as a part of climate changes in the first stage of Oriental medicine, Gradually, they have been applied to the medial concepts such as the metabolic principle and nature of diseases. Han, yin is recognized as the decline of physiological function, reduction of defense and induces metabolic abnormal depression. Yeal, yang is recognized as the acceleration of body function, inflammatory disease and induces metabolic abnormal stimulation.

        附子湯 煎湯液이 家兎의 腎臟 및 副腎皮質機能에 미치는 影響

        This experiment was performed to evaluate the effects of Bujatang water Extract on the renal, adrenocortical function, plasma renin activity and the concentration of cortisol and aldosterone in the unanesthetizied rabbit. The results were obtained as follows: 1. Intravenous administration of Bujatang Water Extract at the dose of 0.2ml/kg significantly increased free water clearance, renal plasma flow, glomerular filtration rate and urinary excretion of electrolytes with remarkable increment of urine volume. 2. No change was observed in renal plasma flow and free water clearance after intravenous administration of Bujatang Water Extract at the dose of 0.4ml/kg, while urine volume, glomerular filtration and urinary excretion of electrolytes showed a tendency to increase. 3. Intravenous administration of Bujatang Water Extract at the dose of 0.8ml/kg significantly increased urine volume and glomerular filtration. 4. Intravenous administration of Bujatang Water Extract at the dose of 0.8ml/kg significantly decreased arterial blood pressure. 5. Intravenous administration of Bujatang Water Extract at the dose of 0.8ml/kg remarkable decreased aldosterone concentration. 6. Intravenous administration of Bujatang Water Extract at the dose of 0.2ml/kg, 0.4ml/kg significantly increased plasma renin activity. 7. Intravenous administration of Bujatang Water Extract at the dose of 0.2ml/kg, 0.4ml/kg significantly increased plasma aldosterone concentration and plasma cortisol concentration in the unhydrated state of unanesthetizied rabbit. These result showed that Bujatang Water Extract has a diuretic effect, which may be caused by the increase of renal hemodynamics, free water clearance, urinary excretion of electrolytes and plasma renin activity. Adrenal function may be influenced by the change of plasma cortisol concentration. It is thought that the above-described results showed the renal and adrenocortical function to have some relations with the state of Sin Yang On Hyu (腎陽溫煦) evoked by Bujatang.

      • 香砂平胃散 및 加減方이 白鼠의 摘出腸管運動에 미치는 影響

        Subtracting from component drugs by nine cases in Hyangsapyengwisan(香砂平胃散), its prescription and investigated the effect on contractile force of intestine in rats. The results obtained were as follows : 1. The effect of relaxation after contraction of rat ileum could be observed by administration of Hyangsapyengwisan. 2. By pretreatment with Atropine, the contractility of Hyangsapyengwisan was suppressed. 3. No change observed in contractile response of Hyangsapyengwisan by pretreatment with Cyproheptadine. 4. By pretreatment with Propranolol, the relaxation of Hyangsapyengwisan was suppressed. 5. The effect of relaxation after contraction of Hyangsapyengwisan was similar to that of Atractylodis Rhizoma. 6. The contractile response observed in subtracted Cyperi Rhizoma and Magnoliae Cortex from Hyangsapyengwisan, while growps in subtracted Atractylodis Rhizoma, Aurantii Nobilis Pericarpium Cyperi Rhizoma, Ponciri Fructus, Agatsachis Herba, Cyperi Rhizoma and Ponciri Fructus, Ponciri Fructus and Magnoliac Cortex from Hyangsapyengwisan showed the relaxation. These results suggest that Hyangsapyengwisan has a contractile effect which may be caused by the partial action of sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system.

        태음조위탕(太陰調胃湯)이 Glucose Oxidase에 의해 손상된 대뇌피질(大腦皮質) 신경세포(神經細胞)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        1. 연구목적 본 실험은 태음조위탕이 대뇌신경세포의 산화적 손상에 대한 효능을 밝히기 위한 것이다. 2. 연구방법 신생생쥐에서 순수 분리한 대뇌신경세포(大腦神經細胞)를 배양(培養)하여 glucose oxidase (GO)에 노출시킨 후 이의 독성효과(毒性效果)를 측정(測定)하였으며, 또한 GO에 의하여 유도(誘導)된 독성(毒性)에 대한 태음조위탕(太陰調胃湯)의 효과(效果)를 조사(調査)하였다. 3. 결과 및 결론 산소자유기(酸素自由基)인 GO는 MTTassay에 의한 세포생존율(細胞生存率)의 유의한 감소(減少)를 보였다. 산소자유기(酸素自由基)인 GO는 NR assay에 의한 세포생존율(細胞生存率)의 유의한 감소(減少)를 보였다. GO의 산화적(酸化的) 손상(損傷)에 의한 신경독성(神經毒性)에 대하여 태음조위탕(太陰調胃湯) 투여로 총단백질양의 유의한 증가(增加)를 보였다. GO의 산화적(酸化的) 손상(損傷)에 의한 신경독성(神經毒性)에 대하여 태음조위탕(太陰調胃湯) 투여로 lipid peroxidation의 유의한 감소(減少)를 보였다. 이상(以上)의 실험결과(實驗結果)는 태음조위탕(太陰調胃湯)이 대뇌신경세포(大腦神經細胞)의 산화적손상(酸化的損傷)에 대하여 유의성(有意性) 있는 방어적(防禦的) 작용(作用)을 나타낸 것으로, 이와 관련된 노화억제(老化抑制)나 뇌허혈(腦虛血), 다발성경화증(多發性硬化症), 치매 등 뇌기능손상(腦機能損傷)이나 저하(低下)로 유발되는 질환(疾患)에 대한 임상응용(臨床應用)에 대해서도 지속적(持續的)인 연구(硏究)가 필요(必要)하다고 사료(思料)된다. 1. Purpose : The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of Taeyeumjoweetang on the cerebral neurons injured by glucose oxidase(GO). 2. Methods : I observed cell viability in mouse cerebral neurons exposed to glucose oxidase by NR assay and MTT assay and determined lipid peroxidation in mouse cerebral neurons exposed to glucose oxidase. After administration of Taeyeumjoweetang water extracts, I observed significant changes of cell viability, lipid peroxidation in mouse cerebral neurons exposed to glucose oxidase. 3. Results : GO induced cell degeneration such as the decrease of cell viability was measured by MTT and NR assay in the cultured mouse cerebral cortical neurons. Taeyeumjoweetang was effective in the increase of total protein of neurons inhibited by GO. Taeyeumjoweetang was effective in the decrease of lipid peroxidation of neurons produced by GO.

        태음인(太陰人) 청심연자탕(淸心蓮子湯)이 Hydrogen Peroxide에 손상(損傷)된 백서(白鼠)의 대뇌신경세포(大腦神經細胞)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        1. 연구목적 본 실험은 청심연자탕이 대뇌신경세포의 산화적 손상에 대한 효능을 밝히기 위한 것이다. 2. 연구방법 신생 생쥐에서 분리 배양한 대뇌신경세포에 여러 농도의 hydrogen peroxide가 포함된 배양액에서 6시간 동안 처리하여 hydrogen peroxide가 배양 대뇌신경세포에 미치는 영향을 조사하였으며 hydrogen peroxide의 독성효과에 대한 청심연자당의 영향을 조사하였다. 3. 결과 및 결론 산소자유기인 hydrogen peroxide는 NR assay와 MTT assay에 의한 세포생존율을 감소시켰고 lipid peroxidation의 증가 및 LDH양의 증가에 의하여 생쥐의 배양 대뇌신경세포에 독성을 나타냈다. 청심연자탕(淸心蓮子湯)은 hydrogen peroxide의 산화적 손상에 대한 신경독성에 대하여 Iipid peroxidation의 감소에 유의한 효과를 보였다. 청심연자탕(淸心蓮子湯)은 hydrogen peroxide의 산화적 손상에 의한 신경독성에 대하여 LDH양의 감소에 유의한 효과를 보였다. 이상의 결과로 보아 hydrogen peroxide는 생쥐에서 분리한 대뇌신경세포에 산화적 손상에 의한 신경독성을 나타냈으며 청심연자탕(淸心蓮子湯)이 hydrogen peroxide와 같은 산소자유기의 산화적 손상에 대한 방어에 효과적인 것으로 사료된다. 1. Results : Hydrogen peroxide showed neurotoxicity. Cell viability in mouse cerebral neurons exposed to hydrogen peroxide decreased in NR assay and MTT assay. Lipid peroxidation and amounts of LDH release in mouse cerebral neurons exposed to hydrogen peroxide increased. Chungsimyeunjatang was very effective in blocking hydrogen peroxide-induced neurotoxicity.

      • 梔子大黃湯과 茵蔯梔子湯 Extract가 白鼠의 肝損傷에 미치는 影響

        An attempt was made to evaluate the effects of Chijadaewhangtang extract (CDE) and Inchinchijatang extract (ICE) on the recovery of hepatotoxicity induced acute treatment of carbon tetrachloride and results were as follows: 1. When rats of carbon tetrachloride-intoxication were treated with CDE and ICE, the serum aspartate aminotransferase activities released from liver were decreased. In ICE treated group, there were significant decrement after 12 hours and more fast return to normal values in comparison with CDE treated group. 2. In CDE and ICE-treated group, as compared with only carbon tetrachloride-treated group there were inhibition of serum alanine aminotransferase elevation and significant decrement was observed in ICE treated group after 48 hours and CDE treated group after 72 hours. 3. Serum alkaline phosphatase values were significantly diminished in CDE and ICE-treated group compared with only carbon tetrachloride intoxicated group. Meaningful diminution was observed in ICE administered group after 48 hours and CDE administered group after 96 hours. 4. Significant decrement of serum lactate dehydrogenase elevation after 96 hours was observed in CDE and ICE-treated group and more fast recover to normal values. 5. Administration of CDE and ICE shortened prothrombin time of plasma and significant recovery was showed in ICE treated group after 72 hours and CDE treated group after 96 hours. From these results, the recuperative effects of CDE and ICE on carbon tetrachloride-induced hepatotoxicity could be verified experimentally.

      • 四君子湯, 四物湯, 十全大補湯 및 補中益氣湯이 cisplatin 投與로 誘發된 體重減少와 血液變化에 미치는 影響

        To investigate the side effects of cisplatin, We attempted to examine the effects of Sakunjatang(四君子湯), Samultang(四物湯), Sibjeondaebotang(十全大補湯) and Boojunhyikgitang(補中益氣湯), combined with cisplatin. For the purpose of clarifying their action, We observed the body weight, WBC, RBC, platelet and survival ratio in mice and rats. The results were as follows : 1. Administration of Sakunjatang significantly increased the body weight, WBC and RBC in the side effects of cisplatin. 2. Administration of Samultang did not increase the body weight, WBC, RBC and platelet in the side effects of cisplatin. 3. Administration of Sibjeondaebotang significantly increased th body weight, WBC, RBC and platelet in the side effects of cilplatin and prolonged their survival ratio. 4. Administration of Boojungyikgitang did not increase the body weight, WBC, and RBC, but significantly increased the platelet in the side effects of cisplatin. According to the above results it is recognized that the prescription of Boki(補氣) and Bokihyul(補氣血) have therapeutic effects in the side effects of cisplatin.

        열다한소탕(熱多寒少湯) 전탕액(煎湯液)이 XO/HX에 의해 손상(損傷)된 배양척수감각신경세포(培養脊髓感覺神經細胞) 미치는 효과(效果)

        To evaluate the effect of Yuldahansotang(YHT) water extract on cultuted mouse spinal sensory neuron which was inhibited by xanthine oxidase(XO) and hypoxanthine(HX)-induced oxigen radicals, MIT assay, NR assay, Neurofilament enzymeimmuno assay and LDH activity assay were carried our after the cultured mouse spinal sensory neuron were preincubated with various concentrations of YHT water extract for 3 hours prior to exposure of XO/HX. The results obtained were as follows: 1. XO/HX, a oxigen radical, decreased the survival rate of the cultured mouse spinal sensory neuron cells on NR assay and MTT assay. 2. MTT50 value and NR50 value pf XO/HX were 20 mU/ml XO/0.2 mM HX and 40 mU/ml XO/0.2 mM HX. 3. YHT water extract have efficacy of increasing neurofilament. 4. YHT water extract have efficacy of increasing LDH activity. From above the results, It is concluded that YHT has marked efficacy as a treatment for the damages caused in the XO/HX-mediated oxidative process.

      • 滋賢丸 煎湯液이 無麻醉 家兎의 腎臟機能에 미치는 影響

        This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of Jasinhwan(滋腎丸) water extract on the renal function and arterial blood pressure. The results of this study were as follows : 1. Urine volume, renal plasma flow, and glomerular filtration rate were significant increased after intravenous administration of Jasinhwan water extract(0.2㎖/㎏). 2. Urine volume, renal plasma flow, glomerular filtration rate, and urinary excretion of electrolytes were significant increased after intravenous administration of Jasinhwan water extract(0.4㎖/㎏). 3. Heart rate was significant decreased after intravenous administration of Jasinhwan water extract(0.4㎖/㎏). These results suggest that the increased of ruine volume after intravenous administration of Jasinhwan water extract was related with the changed of renal hemodynamics and the increased of urinary excretion of electrolytes.
