        To lessen the ratio of under achievers is one of the most urgent task which recent school mathematics education is confronted with. To cope with this problem efficiently, math. teachers should know more specifically and concretely the causes that make the students dislike mathematics. But actually, there are too many reasons for these situations. So, in this paper, we tried to devise a tool to analyze and measure each student's math. disliking status. We proceeded this research via the following procedures. 1. Grasping the causes which make the students dislike mathematics as specifically as possible. To obtain this, we asked more than 300 of secondary school students to write down their thoughts about school mathematics. 2. Analyzing the responses, we abstracted 74 numbers of items which were supposed to be the causes for secondary school students' mathematics disliking. 3. With these items we made a test to measure students' aptitude for each item. 4. With this test paper, we tested over 800 of secondary school students. Through factor analysis and theoretical argument, we categorized the 74 items into 11 groups whose names were defined as factors of mathematics disliking. 5. For each of these 11 factors, we developed a norm which could serve as standard of comparison in measuring each student's mathematics disliking status. Using this tool teachers were able to describe each student's traits of mathematics disliking more specifically.

        개에서 이중 결찰법을 통한 동맥관 개존증의 완치 예

        A ten months old, female Yorkshire terrier weighing 2.88 kg referred to veterinary teaching hospital of college of veterinary medicine, Konkuk University because of syncope, cough and dyspnea. First hematological and serum chemical test revealed thrombocytopenia, mild anemia, and increase of concentration of ALP (195 U/L). On 57 days later, second hematological and serum chemical test revealed polycythemia, increase of concentration of ALP (211 U/L), and Tchol (387 mg/dl). Right atrium enlargement, main pulmonary artery bulge and cardiomegaly (VHS = 11.5) were observed in radiographic findings. Ultrasonographic images showed both right and left ventricular dilation and turbulent flow between the descending aorta and the main pulmonary artery in color Doppler imaging. ECG showed left ventricular enlargement, SA block, and electrical alternant. Thoracotomy was performed through left fourth intercostal incision under isoflurane anesthesia. Patent ductus arteriosus was double ligated with 1-0 silk. Cough and dyspnea disappeared on 5 days after operation. Turbulent flow was not found in color doppler imaging of ultrasonography on 10 days after operation. Ten months later after the operation, syncope could not exist any more.

        인공 치아우식 발생 모델에서 디지털 방사선 공제술을 이용한 인접면 치아우식증의 진단

        Purpose : The purpose of the experiment was to evaluating the diagnostic ability of dental caries detection using digital subtraction in the artificial caries activity model. Materials and Methods : Digital radiographies of five teeth with 8 proximal surfaces were obtained by CCD sensor (Kodak RVG 6100 using a size #2). The digital radiographic images and subtraction images from artificial proximal caries were examined and interpreted. In this study, we proposed novel caries detection method which could diagnose the dental proximal caries from single digital radiographic image. Results : In artificial caries activity model, the range of lesional depth was 572-1,374 μm and the range of lesional area was 36.95-138.52mm². The lesional depth and the area were significantly increased with demineralization time (p<0.001). Furthermore, the proximal caries detection using digital subtraction radiography showed high detection rate compared to the proximal caries examination using simple digital radiograph. Conclusion : The results demonstrated that the digital subtraction radiography from single radiographic image of artificial caries was highly efficient in the detection of dental caries compared to the data from simple digital radiograph.

      • 중학교 과학 교과서 분별 증류 실험의 비교 분석 및 개선

        이 연구의 목적은 제 6차 교육과정에 의한 중학교 1학년 과학 교과서 분별 증류 실험의 문제점을 파악하고, 중학생들이 분별 증류 실험을 능률적으로 수행할 수 있는 실험 방법을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위한 첫 번째 단계로서 현재 사용되고 있는 8종의 과학 교과서를 분별 증류 실험 장치와 액체 혼합물의 종류에 따라 6가지로 분류하였다. 두 번째 단계로서 액체 혼합물을 가열 방법에 따라 직접가열과 물 중탕 가열로 나누어 교과서 실험과정에 따라 같은 실험을 세 번 실시하였다. 세 번째 단계로서 실험 결과의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 대안 실험을 실시하였다. 대안 실험에서는 알코을 램프로 직접가열 하는 방법과 기름 중탕으로 가열하는 방법, 그리고 가열 맨틀을 사용하여 가열하는 방법을 사용하였다. 연구결과, 가지 달린 둥근 플라스크를 직접 가열하는 실험 결과가 가지 달린 시험관을 물 중탕으로 가열하는 실험 결과보다 이론적인 결과에 근접하였다. 그리고 가지 달린 둥근 플라스크를 직접 가열하는 실험에서 플라스크 윗 부분을 보온해 주는 실험이 보온하지 않은 실험보다 실험 결과가 더 나았다. 대안 실험에서는 액체 혼합물의 증류 온도 증가를 보면서 가열 맨틀의 가열 온도를 을려 준 실험의 결과가 이론적인 결과에 가장 가까웠다. 이러한 연구 결과로부터 가지 달린 시험관을 물 중탕으로 가열하는 분별 증류 실험 장치는 탐구실험 수업에 부적절한 것이므로 개선이 요구되며, 중학교 과학실 여건을 고려할 때, 액체 혼합물의 증류 온도 증가를 보면서 가열 맨틀의 가열 온도를 변화시키는 분별 증류 실험이 가장 능률적인 방법임을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study was to find out the problems on the fractional distillation experiments in the middle school science textbooks based on the 6th curriculum and to suggest an efficient experiment method for the middle school students. The first step was the classification of the experiments in 8 science textbooks according to heating apparatus and liquid mixtures. The second step was doing each experiment 3 times followed by the experimental process in the textbooks. The third step was developing the alternative experiments for solving the problems found in the second step. The heating method used in the alternative experiments were direct heating, oil bath, and heating mantle. The results of the second step showed that the direct heating experiment of branched round flask was more close to the theoretical prediction than the experiment of water bath heating of branched test tube. Also the direct heating experiment of thermally insulated branched round flask was better than the result of the experiment which was not insulated. The results of the third step showed that the experiment using heating mantle regulated heating power by observing the temperature of distillate gave the closest result to the theoretical prediction. From the above results, it is concluded that the experiment using branched test-tube with water bath heating is not adequate for the fractional distillation and an alternative experiment using insulated branched round flask with heating mantle regulated heating power during experiment is recommended.

        In this paper, a new grouping optimization scheme is proposed, which is a part of the dynamic resource management in mobile communication environments. The Proposed scheme dynamically optimizes the distribution of macro cells according to traffic deviation between sectors in CDMA optical micro cell system which has the multitier cell structure. For the efficient use of limited communication resources, an optimal sector structures are searched through the genetic algorithm and the remote antenna groups are dynamically reconstructed. From the simulation results, we can confirmed that the proposed method not only reduces the hand-off rate but also increases the reserved call capacity of each sector.

        Obstetrics and Gynecology include gynecology which is concerned with the treatment for the disease based on physiology and pathology of women, and obstetrics which is concerned with pregnancy delivery. These obstetics and gynecology can be said to date from the birth of human beings. This paper has carried on the studies about the generating and developing process of obstetics and gynecology. The results of this study are as follow : Distinction in Northern and Southern Dynasties were much more Obstetrics and Gynecology studying the Obstetrics and Gynecology books in that time, the study about "oncosis" (?瘤) and forma of drug pill, powder, plaster were carried on. The highest distinction in Sui age were research and development on pathogenesis and cause of disease about Obstetrics and Gynecology disease and it was appeared representatively in "Zhubingyuanhoulun"「諸病源候論」 which was special book on cause of disease and pathogenesis and syndrome, And it was explained about abnormal vaginal discharge in this book Obstetrics and Bynecoiogy were developed on theory and clincis in Tang age when "Taiyshu"(太??暑) was established. Taiyshu"(太??暑) taked complete charge of medical operation and education, published much expellent Obstetrics and Gynecology books than the past. Among them specially "Qianjinyaofang"「千金要方」 explained Obstetrics and Gynecology matter first in three volumes and "Qianjinyifang"「千金要方』 explained this matter first in four volumes. This point indicate that Obstetrics and Gynecology's Importance was established in Tang age, so Obstetrics and Gynecology's developmental history, Song age was the acme period. "Taiyju"(太??局) was established in "xining"『??守』 9 year and Obstetrics belonged to one of nine departments under "Taiyju"(太??局), so Obstetrics and Gynecology was separated from the other medical parts and it was prepared of it's progressing bases independentIy and appeared of changes in quality and increase in quantity about theory and prescription of Obstetrics and Gynecology, specially determination of treatment based on the differentiation of symptoms and sighs was taked a serious view. Besides four great physicians in Jing and Yuan dynasies diversified Obstetrics and Gynecology contents through their only medical theory and clinical treatment.

        고등학교 1학년 학생들의 인지수준과 과학의 물질 단원 내용수준 비교 분석 및 교사들의 인식

        The purpose of this study was to seek for improved teaching and learning methods by comparatively analyzing the cognitive level of 10th grade students and the content level of high school science textbooks's matter unit and examining the teacher's understanding of these issues. For this study, the cognitive level of 336 10th grade students from 4 areas were analyzed using SRT Ⅲ (Science Reasoning Task Ⅲ) and the content level of 10 scientific concepts selected from the matter unit of high school science textbooks were analyzed using CAT (Curriculum Analysis Taxonomy). How high school science teachers understood these issues was also examined. The result showed that 51% of the research subjects were the formal operational level, 30% of the transitional level, and 19% of the concrete operational level. The percentage of students of the formal operational level varied according to each school. The scientific concepts of the matter unit of the 6 high school science textbooks were mostly of the early formal operational level. However, the content level of the same scientific concept varied according to each textbook, since the level of each textbookordiexpdeining scientific concepts to students and the answers theyiexpected from students were different. Furthermore, high school science teachers considered the content level of the scientific concepts lower than the actual content level analyzed through teptsAT. Such d6 harmonyibetween the cognitive level of students and the content level of the scientific concepts and the wrong conceptt. Furtteachers of the content level of the scientific concepts effects the students' understanding of scientific concepts and teaching-learning methods. I Furder to solve the discordance between the level of students and scientific concepts and to increase the understanding of students of scientific concepts, teachers should develop the appropriate teaching and learning methods that considers the cognitive level of students and content level of scientific concepts, by analyzing the cognitive level of students and understand the content level of scientific concepts of science textbooks, prior to class. 이 연구는 고등학교 1학년 학생들의 인지수준과 고등학교 과학 물질 단원의 내용수준을 비교 분석하고, 이에 대한 공통과학 교사들의 인식을 알아봄으로써, 교수 학습 방법에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 하는 것이다. 연구를 위하여 4개 지역의 고등학교 1학년 학생 336명 을 대상으로 SRT Ⅲ(science reasoning task Ⅲ)를 사용하여 인지수준을 조사하였으며, 고등학교 과학 물질 단원에서 10개의 과학 개념을 추출하여 CAT (curriculum analysis taxonomy) 분석틀로 내용수준을 분석하였다. 그리고 이에 대한 공통과학 교사들의 인식을 조사하였다. 연구 결과에 의하면, 고등학교 1학년 학생들의 51%가 형식적 조작가 수준이었으나, 30%의 학생들과 19%의 학생들은 각각 과도기 수준과 구체적 조작기 수준이었으며, 형식적 조작기 수준의 학생 비율은 학교별로 차이가 있었다. 고등학교 6종 과학교파서에 제시된 물질 단원 과학 개념들의 내용수준은 대부분 초기 형식적 조작기 수준이었으니, 같은 과학 개념이라도 설명하는 수준과 학생들에게 요구하는 답변의 수준 차이로 인해 교과서별로 내용수준에 차이가 있었다. 그리고 과학교사들은 과학 개념의 내용수준을 CAT 분석틀로 분석된 실제의 내용수준에 비해서 낮게 인식하고 있었다. 이러한 학생들의 인지수준과 과학 개념의 내용수준의 불일치와 과학교사들의 과학 개념 내용수준에 대한 잘못된 인식이 학생들의 과학개념에 대한 이해도와 교수-학습에 영향을 미칠 것이다. 그러므로 학생들의 인지수준과 과학 개념 내용수준간의 불균형을 해소하고 과학 개념에 대한 학생들의 이해도를 높이기 위해서는 과학교사들이 학생들의 인지수준과 과학 개념의 내용수준을 사전에 파악하여, 학생들의 인지수준과 파학 개념의 내용수준을 고려하는 교수-학습 전략이 필요하다.

        청말 중서의회통파인 장석순의 의학사상을 『의학충중참서록』를 중심으로 정리하였다. 고전을 철저히 이해하여 동양의학의 이론을 바탕으로 서양의학을 접목시켜 장점을 취하고 단점을 보완하려고 노력하였다. 그의 의학적인 이론으로는 대기론, 기화론, 간병론, 화어법 등이 있고, 상한론과 온병학의 통합을 주장하고 내과병증에 다양한 방법을 제시하였다. I found following idea, as a result of researching his Science idea, mainly, by translation of the "Zha(?)ang xi chu´n Xue´ Shu´ ssu hsia´ng"(張錫純 學術硏究). Zhaˇang xi chu´n regarded 'chuˇng chuˇng ts´aˇn hsI'(衷中參西) as the core idea of The Chinese-Western medical combination. He didn't segregate philosophy of the West from One of the Orient. He persued to harmonize each other and thought that the Western medicint theory is included in the Chinese one in many parts. besides, He recognized that it is bad to reject each other, for the medical science's purpose is to save a life, and united The Chinese-Western medicine theory, by 'chuˇng chuˇng ts´aˇn hsI' idea which refers to consult the Western medicine on the basis of the Chinese one. Medical basic theory of Zhaˇang xi chu´n brought up new views of the theory : Dae-gi(大氣), gj-Hwa(氣化) theory, Nongangˇubgˇan byung juing chi(論肝及肝病證治), Eum her chijung ja bi(陰處治重滋脾), Lim Sangeung yong(臨床應用) of Hyul Her gub(血處及) - Hwal Hyul Hwa uˇ bub(活血化瘀法, on the basis of classics, such as, "Neˇi Ching"(內經), "Chi Kue iˇ yaˇo lu¨eˇh"(金??要略), "Shen nu´ng peˇn ts´aˇo ching"(神農本草經) etc. I'll sum up Zhaˇang xi chu´n's clinical idea now He unified Sang Han(4傷寒)-On Byung(溫病) with Yuk Kyung Byung Jung(六經辯證) and It was noticiabte to utilize a kinds of Baek Ho Tang(白虎湯). He gave a detailed description about a method of grasp the symptoms of the cause of the internal medicine diseases and pathology and, he left abundant views of theory about using remedy and experience of clinic.

        백서 정중구개봉합 확대후의 CGRP 면역반응 신경섬유의 변화

        측방확대장치에 의한 정중구개봉합부의 확대시 고정력은 구개부의 신경요소들에 변화를 일으키면서 동통을 유발하게 되고 구개봉합부가 확대되고 그것이 유지되는 동안에 기계적 자극에 의한 구개부신경섬유의 반응성에 변화를 일으킬 것으로 생각된다. 본 연구에서는 백서 정중구개봉합부의 CGRP 면역반응 신경섬유의 교정력 적용시간에 따른 형태학적인 반응성, 밀도, 분포변화등을 관찰하고 그와 연관된 CGRP의 기능을 알아보고 자 250gm내외의 Sprague-Dawley 웅성백서 상악전치에 200gm의 치아이개력이 가해지도록 활성화시킨 helical spring을 삽입하여 정상대조군과 장치 장착후 경과시간에 따라 1일, 4일, 7일, 14일 경과군으로 나누어 정중구개봉합부를 확대후 희생시켜 면역조직화학법으로 염색하여 관찰하였다. · 대조군에서 정중구개 봉합붑 결합조직의 CGRP 면역양성 신경섬유는 거의 관찰되지 않았다. · 1일군에서는 대조군에 비해 CGRP 면역반응 신경섬유가 현저한 증가를 보였으며 주로 혈관 주위에 염주알 모양의 가는 신경섬유가 관찰되었다. · 4일군에서는 CGRP 면역반응 신경섬유가 대조군에 비해서는 현저한 증가를 보였으나 1일군에 비해서는 크게 증가하지 않았으며 혈관의 크기가 훨씬 확장되어 관찰되었다. · 7일군에서는 특징적으로 조골양세포가 새로이 형성된 골변연을 따라 줄지어 배열되는 독특한 양상이 관찰되었고 신경섬유의 수는 4일군에 비하여 감소하고 혈관의 직경도 감소되었다. · 14일군에서는 CGRP 면역반응 신경섬유가 7일군과 유사한 분포를 보였으며 확대에 의한 골변연의 불규칙성도 대체로 감소되었다. CGRP 면역반응 신경섬유는 정중구개봉합의 확대시 초기에 일어나는 신경원성 염증반응에 주로 관련되어 증식되는 것으로 생각된다. Midplatal suture expansion is often used for patients having narrow maxillary arch, cleft palate, respiratory handicap with narrow nasal cavity. CGRP has been known as a modulator of pain transmission in central nervous system and a local effector to peripheral tissue causing vasodilation, increase of blood flow, modulation of immune system, regulation of macrophagic function and stimulation of bone formation. To investigate changes of CGRP-immunoreactive nerve fibers in midpalatal suture during the the expansion, immunohistochemical study was performed by using rats. Experimental rats(10weeks, 250gm) were divided into five groups(control, 1, 4, 7, 14 days group (each n=4) and applied orthodontic force (approximately 200gm) to upper anterior incisors. Frozen sections of midpalatal suture area were immunostained by using rabbit antisera. The results were as follows. · The CGRP-immunoreactive nerve fibers were hardly observed in control group. · In 1 day group, the CGRP-immunoreactive nerve fibers were more increased around the vessels than control group. · In 4 days group, the CGRP-immunoreactive nerve fibers were more increased than control group, but not more increased than 1 day group. Vascular diameter was more enlarged. · In 7 days group, expecially, hematoxilin affinity of cells was remarkable and cells were arranged along the bone margin. The CGRP-immunoreactive nerve fibers were more reduced than 4 days group and vascular diameter was also reduced. · In 14 dayds group, the CGRP-immunoreactive nerve fibers were similar to those of 7 days group and the irregularity of bone margin was almost recoverd. In Conclusion, the CGRP-immunoreactive nerve fibers may be related to initial neurogenic inflammatory reaction in expanding mid-palatal suture.
