응급실에 내원한 비출혈 환자에서 RapidRhino와 epinephrine 동반 사용의 유용성

Objective: RapidRhino is widely used in emergency departments (EDs) to treat epistaxis, and we have used RapidRhino plus epinephrine empirically. In this study, we evaluated the effectiveness of RapidRhino plus epinephrine compared to RapidRhino with saline. Methods: This prospective randomized study was performed on patients with epistaxis who visited our ED between October 2021 and January 2023. Patients were randomized to RapidRhino plus epinephrine or RapidRhino groups by drawing numbers. Subgroup analyses were performed on patients who received or did not receive anticoagulants or antiplatelets. Results: The overall success rates for RapidRhino with saline and RapidRhino with epinephrine were both high (92% and 94%, respectively), but the 10-minute success rates of RapidRhino with saline and RapidRhino with epinephrine were 57.4% and 78%.0%, respectively, which was a significant difference (P=0.001). In patients administered anticoagulants, initial success rate of RapidRhino with epinephrine was higher than that of RapidRhino with saline (83.3% and 62.9%, respectively, P=0.046), and these results were confirmed by adjusted logistic regression analyses-for all patients (adjusted odds ratio [aOR]=2.42; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.28-4.58) and for patients treated with anticoagulants (aOR=6.31; 95% CI, 1.17-34.17). Conclusion: RapidRhino with epinephrine may be more effective at controlling hemorrhage than RapidRhino. The combined administration of RapidRhino and epinephrine might reduce the time spent in emergency departments by epistaxis patients.
Individually position-addressable Cu nanofiber electrode array printing

We fabricated highly aligned Cu nanofiber (NF) array with regular line spacing and orientation using our own printing method called Electrohydrodynamic Nanowire Printing (ENP). Printed Cu NF had average diameter of 710 nm and resistivity of 14.1 μΩ·cm which is comparable with that of bulk Cu (Resistivity of bulk Cu = 1.7 μΩ·cm). We also demonstrated the pentacene thin film field-effect transistors with individual Cu NF as source/drain electrodes and achieved field-effect hole mobility of 0.14cm<sup>2</sup>·V<sup>-1</sup>·s<sup>-1</sup>. These results show that highly aligned Cu NF array can be used for the nano-electrodes of various electronic applications, and our approach will be a promising strategy in the field of next generation electronics.
데이터 리터러시 교육에서 적용할 프로세스 단계 도출을 위한 데이터 과학 수명 주기 분석

인공지능 기술이 분야에 관계없이 활용되고 일상 생활에서 인공지능과의 상호작용이 보편화되어 인공지능과 인공지능에서 발생하는 다양한 데이터를 이해하고 활용할 수 있는 AI 리터러시와 데이터 리터러시가 실생활에서 필요한 능력으로 간주되고 있다. 2022 개정 교육과정의 정보과에서도 이러한 사회의 흐름을 반영하여 ‘인공지능 기초’ 과목을 개편하고 ‘데이터 과학’ 과목을 신설하였다. 교육과정에서는 데이터 과학 프로젝트를 통해 학생들이 데이터 기반의 전체적인 문제 해결 과정을 체험할 것을 권하고 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 중고등 교육 관점에서 데이터 리터러시를 정의하고, 중고등학생을 대상으로 하여 데이터 리터러시 교육에서 적용할 프로세스 단계를 도출하기 위해 데이터 과학 분야의 프로세스 모델 및 생명 주기를 비교‧분석하였다. 분석 결과 도출된 단계는 문제 정의 및 이해, 데이터 수집 및 준비, 데이터 활동, 평가 및 결과 활용 4단계로 도출되었고, 2022 개정 교육과정에 데이터 과학 교과의 내용과 비교한 결과 교육과정에 나타난 문제해결 과정과도 대응되었다.
Designable Ag nanofiber electrode array printing for various electronic devices

We fabricated designable Ag nanofibers (NFs) through simple, extremely fast and low-cost printing process called Electrohydrodynamic Nanowire Printing. Ag NFs had a comparable resistivity of 5.1 μΩ·cm with bulk Ag (Resistivity of bulk Ag = 1.6 μΩ·cm) and an average diameter of 500 nm which is the smallest dimension among the directly-printed electrode ever reported. Grid patterned Ag NF arrays with line pitch of 100 μm had very high transmittance over 94% (sheet resistance ~ 25 Ω /S□) which is fully-transparent with naked eye. Using Ag NFs as transparent electrodes, we also successfully demonstrated various electronic applications. Our approach will be a promising strategy in the field of next generation electronics.
Ginkgo biloga 잎 추출물의 1,2,4-benzenetriol에 대한 항산화 효과에 대한 연구

Ginkgo biliba has been used for bronchitis and asthma in oriental countries and its leaf extract(GBE) contains 24% ginkgoflavone glycoside and 6% terpenoid. Flavonoids and terpenoids are known to have various antioxidant effects such as scavenging of free radicals and chelation of transtional metals. Antioxidant effect of GBE against 1,2,4-benzenetriol(BT), one of toxic metabolites of benzene, was demonstrated throughbsister chromatid exchange(SCE) analysis, single cell gel electrophoresis(SCGE) analysis, DNA cleavage assay and lipid peroxidation production analysis. The means of SCE frequencies at 10, 25 and 50$\mu$M concentration of BT were 7.72, 8.02, 9.22 respectively. In addition of GBE with concentration of 50, 200 and 500$\mu\textrm{g}$/$m\ell$, SCE frequencies were decreased significantly.(p<0.05) According to SCGE analysis, BT induced DNA damage in a dose-dependent manner at concentration of 10 and 50 $\mu$m and the DNA damage induced by BT was significantly protected by GBE(p<0.001). No genotoxicity was observed by GBE treatment alone on DNA cleavage. The effect of BT on lipid peroxidation product, Malondiadehyde(MDA), was increased with concentration of BT(10 and 50 $\mu$M) and reduction in MDA was noted when GBE was added. From above results it is suggested that GBE could protect the cell and DNA from pro-oxidant effect by reactive oxigen species induced by BT.

공군 이러닝체계 구축을 위해 공군 교육체계에 대한 선행 연구 자료 분석과 함께 공군 교육생들을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 결과 3,597명이 응답하였고, 그 결과 공군 교육생 대부분이 이러닝에 대한 경험이나 인식은 부족하나, 기회가 주어진다면 이러닝 강좌를 수강하기를 원하고 있었다. 또한, 기존의 학습 포털 시스템에 대한 기능 개선에 대한 요구가 많았고, 집합교육보다는 개별교육을, 제한된 컴퓨터실보다는 자유 공간에서 학습하기를 원하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 공군 이러닝체계 구축에 필요한 요소를 크게 콘텐츠, 교관, 교육생, 서비스 등 4가지로 구분하고, 이에 대한 구체적인 개선 방안을 제안하였다. In order to establish an air force e-learning system, we analysed previous researches on air force education systems and conducted a survey on 3,597 air force trainees. Most of trainees have little experience on e-learning and do not understand it. But if they were given an opportunity, they would like to take a e-learning course. They had a lot of requests about function improvement for learning management systems, preferred individual education rather than collective education, and did not wanted to take an e-learning class at a computer laboratory. In this study, we found four elements that need to establish e-learning system for air force. They are content, trainer, trainee and service. Also, we suggested improvement plans for each elements.
