漢文 散文을 활용한 ‘事例-過程中心의 自己紹介書’ 글쓰기 교육 -고등학교 한문과 교과서를 中心으로-

現 중・고등학교 현장의 한문과 내용체계에서는 ‘한문 산문을 활용한 글쓰기’ 영역이 따로 편성되어 있지 않다. ‘글쓰기’란 ‘읽고’, ‘이해’하기 다음 단계로 ‘고도의 사고활동 과정’이라고 생각한다. 요즘 대학입시에 급박하여 작성되는 ‘일회성 자기소개서’가 아닌 자신만이 쓸 수 있는 구체적인 사례들을 통해 정체성을 구축해 나가는 ‘사례-과정중심의 자기소개서’ 교육과정이 필요한 시기라고 생각된다. 그렇다면 한문 산문을 활용한 자기소개서를 어떤 방법을 가지고 한문과 교육과정에 접목 시켜 학생들에게 투입시킬 수 있겠는가?본고는 학생들에게 자기소개서라는 결과물만을 얻고자 하는 실용적 글쓰기에 그 목적이 있지 않다. 과거의 자신과 현재의 모습과 미래의 나는 사전이나 검색을 통해 알 수 있는 것이 아니다. 자신의 나이테만큼 자아도 성장했는지? 자신이 누구이며 어떻게 살아갈 것인지? 자신이 가장 관심 있어 하는 분야는 무엇인지? 자신만의 반성적 성찰 방법은 무엇인지? 독창적인 언어로 자신을 표현할 수 있는지? 과거의 자신과 현재의 자신은 어떻게 변화 되었는지? 다른 사람의 삶에 대해 궁금해 본 적이 있었는지? 내가 하고 싶은 일과 내가 잘 할 수 있는 일을 고민해 봤는지? 자신의 삶을 되돌아보고 미래의 자신을 예견하며 상상해 본적이 있는지?를 고민해 보며 ‘사례-과정중심의 자기소개서’를 작성해 본다. 본고의 ‘사례-과정중심의 자기소개서’란 선현들이 수천 년 동안 쌓아온 생활 속의 정서, 지혜, 사상이 담긴 한문산문을 감상하고 이해하여 자신만의 자기소개서를 구체적 또는 점진적 과정을 거쳐 작성해 보도록 한다. 그리고 학습자들은 간접체험을 바탕으로 직접 실천한 사례들을 발표・토론함으로써 극복방안을 찾아보도록 한다. 한문 산문을 활용한 ‘자기소개서’는 대학입시 수시전형의 서류로 제출 할 수 있으며 더 나아가 일반전형 심층면접에 까지 도움이 될 것이라고 생각된다. 이처럼 자기소개서의 비중이 점점 커짐에 따라 본고에서는 ‘사례-과정중심의 자기소개서’ 글쓰기 방법을 모색하고자 ‘讀盈反切’의 교수-학습 방법을 제안한다. ‘讀盈反切’ 전략이란, 讀書尙友・盈科而後進 成章而後達・反求諸己・切磋琢磨의 첫 字를 취하여 ‘讀盈反切’ 전략을 구안했다. 2007・2009개정 한문교과서에 제시된 ‘金得臣傳’, ‘看書痴傳’, ‘李安訥傳’의 작품을 활용해 대교협 공통양식에 의거하여 자기소개서 글쓰기 교육을 실시한다. ‘한문 산문을 활용한 자기소개서 글쓰기 교육’이 지니고 있는 가치는 학습자들에게 새로운 기회를 제공해 주는 교육적 활동이 될 것이다. 또 본고는 한국대학교육협의회(2014년 4월 15일)에 발표된 ‘대교협 自己紹介書 공통양식’을 바탕으로 ‘자신에게 묻는다! <부록 1> 100문 101답’ 문항을 만들어 학습자들이 쉽고 체계적으로 준비할 수 있도록 하였다. 이는 고등학교에 재학하는 동안 자신의 성장과정을 한눈에 확인해 볼 수 있는 간단한 방법(체크리스트□)이 될 것이다. 자기소개서 글쓰기는 학습자들 간의 개인차를 극복하기는 힘들 것이다. 하지만 투박하고 서툴더라도 대필과 표절이 아닌 자신만의 자기소개서를 작성하는 작업은 분명 한 인간을 성장 발전시키는데 많은 도움이 될 것이다. ‘한문 산문을 활용한 자기소개서 글쓰기’는 두 영역을 융합시켜 교수하였기 때문에 창의적 ... ‘Writing utilizing Chinese prose’ is not separately organized in contents system of classical Chinese class of existing middle⋅high school field. I think ‘writing’ is ‘reading’; ‘understanding’; and next, ‘process of high-degree thinking activity’. It is required to have a curriculum of ‘examples- and process-based self-introduction letter’ to establish identity through specific examples instead of a ‘one-time self-introduction letter’ prepared on the verge of college entrance examination recently. How is it possible to graft self-introduction letter utilizing Chinese prose onto classical Chinese curriculum in order to input to students?This study does not aim at practical writing for students to get results of self-introduction letter only. My former self, present appearance and my future cannot be known through a dictionary or a search. Agonizing over following questions, I attempt to write an ‘examples- and process-based self-introduction letter’; whether self has been developed as much as one’s own growth rings? Who I am and how I will live? In which field I am most interested? What is my own reflective introspection method? Can I express myself in creative language? How did my former self and present life change? Have I wondered about other people’s life? Have I agonized over what I wanted to do and what I could do well? Have I looked back upon life and then, forecasted and imagined my future?Appreciating and understanding Chinese prose containing emotion, wisdom and thoughts in life accumulated by ancient sages for thousand years, we attempt to prepare my own ‘examples- and process-based self-introduction letter’ through specific or gradual process. And, learners will try to find out the solution through presentation⋅discussions of direct practiced examples based on indirect experience. A ‘self-introduction letter’ utilizing Chinese prose can be submitted as a document for nonscheduled admission of university examination and furthermore, it will also be a help to in-depth interview of regular admission, I think. As self-introduction letter is of great importance, this study suggests the teaching-learning method of ‘Dokyeongbanjeol’ to seek a writing method of ‘examples- and process-based self-introduction letter’. ‘Dokyeongbanjeol’ strategy was made by the initial letter of Dokseosangwoo, Yeonggwaeehuzin, Seongjangeehudal, Bangujeogi, and Jeolchatakma. Utilizing works of Kimdeuksinjeon, Ganseochijeon, and Eeannuljeon included in 2007⋅2009 revised Chinese writing textbook, writing education of a self-introduction letter is conducted according to KCUE’s common modality. Value possessed by ‘writing education of examples- and process- based self-introduction letter utilizing Chinese prose’ will be an educational activity to give a new opportunity to learners. In addition, this study created item of ‘Ask you yourself! 100 questions and 101 answers’ on the basis of ‘KCUE's common modality’ announced by Korea Council for University Education (April 15, 2014) in order for learners to be prepared easily and systematically. This will be a simple method (checklist) to check one’s own growth process during high school days at a glance. It will not be easy to overcome learner's individual difference in writing a self-introduction letter. However, it will be a great help to develop a person if one prepares one’s own self-introduction letter, rough and poor, instead of ghostwriting and plagiarism. It is expected that ‘writing a self-introduction letter utilizing Chinese prose’ will make creative and peculiar outcome because it fuses two fields for teaching.
